Savin' Me 18

I have to tell you this was a hard chapter to write, simply because it’s now cold and I kept getting distracted while writing it. Every time I set up in my living room where the heater is, I got distracted by something on the tv. But this weekend we’ve had a Narutothon, so I’ve had 9 hours of it today, and last night we had the first movie as well, and yes I do own it, but I love to watch it. Saw the repeat tonight as well. I watch it on Australian Cartoon Network. We are way behind America, having only reached bringing Tsunade to the village, then a tiny bit beyond then it stopped. I have however read everything up to 400 in the manga and plan to read 401 when I go online to post this. I read them on YouTube. So I have a knowledge of the show that far, though I do thank the reviewer for the link. But with the interest rate problem in this country I am finding it hard to make ends meet and my internet usage is on a budget, so I have to wait for the tv version. I am going to have to cut down my pay tv as well, but cartoon network, though I hate the loss of the adult swim anime nights, will not be a channel I want to give up. Anyway to get back on track, it took many nights to write this and I was not expecting another of Kakashi’s saviors to turn up so soon. And I have an idea of where I am going and what is going to happen, it’s just that I got Kakashi and Iruka back to the village and realized they weren’t going anywhere and had to change the venue. The cabin came to mind, but what to do there eluded me. But we are back on track now. So I hope the new arrival and I thank you for your reviews and for reading this. Enjoy

Savin’ Me continued…
By Fyrbyrd

Iruka lay in the bed staring at the ceiling, a head laying on his shoulder and his arm around Kakashi playing with the ends of his hair. Kakashi was sound asleep after yet another session of sex. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be doing this, that he was there to heal his friend, not to keep fucking him, even though it was most pleasurable to both of them. It was wrong because it had been too much a part of Kakashi’s life for the past five years. He should not have let it get like this, because he wasn’t sure he'd able to stop it now. His partner was calm again, acting more like a normal person should. Iruka had done this because he loved the man in his arms. He had been through too much to be left to insanity and death. Iruka could not lose him now that he had found what he had been looking for all his life.

He turned his head to look down at the other man. This man was one of the strongest shinobi in their village. He could be cold and aloof, he stuck by the rules, he was a killer. He was everything that Iruka was not. And it made him wonder what would happen if Kakashi did get his memory back. What would happen then? Would he want to be with him, a man he had disagreed with in the past? Would he love him as much as Iruka loved?

The man wriggled beside him, and he stilled his thoughts, he did not want to let go of this. He did not want to go back to the life he had lead before, the loneliness, because he had felt that. He tightened his arm around his lover, all he could do was wait and see what happened, ad hope that something happened soon, because there was still the threat of them being found hanging over them.

The next time he awoke, he found himself draped over his love and sunlight was filling the room. He moved his head to look up at the face above him and saw the smile there, he immediately did the same. There was more sunshine in that smile than anything the sun could provide. “I love it when you do that,” he said.

Kakashi took a hold of either side of his head and pulled him down to join him in a kiss.

When he was able to pull back he said, “And that’s an even better way to start the day.” Then he felt a hand move under him and rub against his morning erection. “Oh shit, Kashi, not again?” The other nodded, “You are going to wear me out if we keep doing this all day.” The smile got impossibly wider, “Oh no, not all day. We have things we must do, but ohhhhh,” the hand was doing things to him, “Okay, but then we get up.” He pulled himself up found the lube and prepared his lover for him, before sinking inside him hand having those wonderful long legs wrap around him. He leaned down to kiss and he moved slowly, not rushing despite what he had said. Kakashi’s hands were in his hair, as they kissed, he was smiling except for when his face reacted to something he felt. When Iruka had to move a bit harder they stopped kissing and Iruka watched his loves face to see that he was indeed pleasing him, then he reached between them and clutched at the neglected cock that had been rubbing at his belly, fisting it a few times to see the eye of his love close and his mouth open with his silent cries before his head pushed back into the bed with a silent cry as he came between them, drawing Iruka over the edge with him, forcing a loud cry as he came inside his lover. Iruka rode the aftershocks before collapsing on top of Kakashi who held still, his legs tightly wrapped over Iruka holding him there.

“We can’t stay like this all day,” said Iruka who’s belly answered with a rumbled and he laughed.

He could see the silent laugh from Kakashi as he loosened his legs and let them fall to the bed allowing Iruka to pull out of him, a grimace crossing his face at the loss. “Come on let’s shower. I have an idea of what we shall do today and that involves going outside.” He watched as Kakashi cocked his head to the side. “What did you think I was going to keep you in here all the time?” There was an evil grin to that. “Well still the pervert I see, that’s a good sign I suppose. No I never intended on keeping you locked up, that’s the reason we left the village. We’re here to prove to them all that you are not dangerous to them, and if I can help you get back the memories you have lost, then all the better. They will catch up with us at some point. I told our friends that they are not to incriminate themselves with the village, it’s not worth their losing everything, but they will protect us as long as they can. We can trust them because I know them all, they love and care for both of us. So come on let’s get cleaned up and eat, then I will go back to my profession, but this time the student is only you.”

They showered, dressed and ate. Iruka tied a ribbon of cloth around Kakashi’s eye because neither of them wore Hitai-ite there, then he took his hand and led him to the door. The day was bright and clear, but it took a bit of pulling for Iruka to get his lover outside with him. He knew Kakashi had not gone outside the brothel much, so being outdoors was probably a little daunting for the man, but it was necessary.

“Now listen to me carefully Kakashi. I am going to remove the seal on your chakra, when I do a lot of things will feel a lot more clearer to you. You will be able hear better, see better, even feel better in that you will feel the world around you as more alive. I will keep a hold on you until you can adjust to it. I know what it feels like to be cut off from your chakra; I had it done to me so that I could understand it. I am a teacher of young Ninja so I have to know these things. Don’t be afraid. It’s like becoming one with the world around you, feeling the life that you can only see before your eyes, or hear from a short distance. But there is so much more of it around us. Our chakra is a part of that life within us, a life force that we can tap into a use, connecting us to the world around us, allowing us to use that power around us, within us. I am here with you Kakashi, always.” Then he did a few signs and took a hold of his lover.

Kakashi’s legs buckled and he pulled his hands to his ears. Iruka went down with him, still keeping a hold of him. They knelt in the grass and Iruka moved a hand to pull Kakashi’s face up to him, their yes met. “Do you feel it? Doesn’t everything feel more alive around you? Do you feel more alive?”

Kakashi nodded. Iruka smiled and moved to get up again, drawing Kakashi with him. “Look around, take it all in. This is our world, the world that you belong to.” His eye moved to look around, to take in the sights and sounds that were not there before, then to take in the man in front of him. Even in the brothel he had not felt this power, it had been long denied him. “So, shall we get on with it?”

Kakashi nodded and they slowly got down to it.

By the time they had gone indoors again, Kakashi was exhausted. Iruka made them dinner while he rested his mind full of all the things they had covered that day. When the meal was ready, they sat and ate quietly before retiring. Kakashi not too tired for another round of sex which Iruka could not deny, as he knew it helped his lover sleep. However, he was awoken by his partner’s restlessness later, glad that it had not turned into a nightmare, as he had not resealed his chakra, and there was every possibility of a bad dream driving him to use his powers again. But if Iruka didn’t trust him with that, how could Kakashi truly trust him.

This became their routine, Kakashi’s natural talents and his own body’s memories kept Iruka on his toes. He knew how good his lover was, knew that the man had been a genius, and even knew he had been in line for Hokage. But that was not their purpose for being there, though Kakashi was getting his strength back a lot faster. Sex was great, though Iruka kept wondering when he’d wind up on the bottom. He was prepared for it, but it seemed that was not what his lover wanted and there was no mistaking that Kakashi wanted him. When they slept Kakashi was more restless, but never fell into the horrible nightmares that Iruka had seen in the padded room. There was none of that violence; it was as if he were reliving something else. Iruka would hold him till he stilled, letting him know that he was not alone; he would never be alone again.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Iruka lay on the ground having been completely defeated by Kakashi. He’d been having a hard time staying ahead of him for days, the man was out of his league, he already knew that, now he knew he had come to the end of doing this. Perhaps his mind was not remembering who he was; his body knew and had never forgotten. Kakashi had moved over to him and was squatting to look down at him. He was smiling as he reached out a hand to pull his lover to his feet. But as he got Iruka off the ground, he suddenly froze. The next thing Iruka knew they were in the house and Kakashi was standing beside the window carefully looking out his senses alert. Iruka knew something was wrong, but how was he to find out what without ruining Kakashi’s concentration. He decided to stay where he was and trust him to deal with it. Then he saw something that made him gasp, just before the man disappeared again, he saw him lift the turtleneck shirt he was wearing and cover his face with it and rip the piece of cloth from his eye.

He got up from the floor and moved to where Kakashi disappeared from. He looked out the window, but he really didn’t need to look to know that his lover was fighting with someone with very strong chakra. Maybe stronger than Kakashi’s, and that scared him. Kakashi still didn’t have his memory back even if his skills were online, if this were a real enemy, he could slip up somewhere. And Iruka knew he was no match for whoever was out there.

He ventured out, trying to figure out where the fight actually was; at least they were still fighting. He knew his heart was in his mouth. Who the hell had come upon them, he hoped someone from the village had not slipped through and Kakashi saw them as a threat. It could even be one of their friends. But he had had no chance to stop Kakashi once he was in fighting mode.

He worried even more, if anyone was hurt it could be his fault, it could be even worse for Kakashi if he hurt anyone, And he had brought his talents back, he had used them as a way to try and jog hid lover’s memory. Damn it, maybe he should not have done it, maybe he should never had taken him from the village.

Then he heard it. That sound. The sound of birds chirping, and then he saw the light.

“No!!!!!” he cried jumping between the two combatants,

He had his eyes closed, he knew what he had just done should have cost him his life, and he was crouched over. When he could no longer hear the noise or feel either of them moving, he slowly and carefully stood up. He opened his eyes to look on the dark haired man in front of him and he gasped in surprise, “Sasuke.”

“Are you going to attack me as well?”

“No I,” then he realized that behind him Kakashi was still holding a ball of visible chakra and he was still in fighting stance. “Kashi, no, this is a friend. He’s not here to hurt you.”

“He fought like he wanted to kill me,” said Sasuke. “I thought he was dead anyway.”

“Where the hell have you been? We found him recently, he hasn’t got his memory,” Iruka held his hands up to Kakashi trying to make him see that he was safe even turning his back to the young man.

“I’ve been here and there. Doesn’t look like his absence has slowed him down any.”

“Sasuke, I need you to tell me, did you see him make any hand signs to bring out chidori?”

“Of course he—“ he stopped and seemed to think about it. “He hasn’t made a sound the whole fight, but I can’t remember any hand signs.”

“His throat has been damaged; I brought him here to try and get his memory back or at least to stop him from doing…this.” He pointed to Kakashi and was concerned that he had not let go of the chakra. So he turned to him fully. “Kashi, please. He is not an enemy. See, he hasn’t hurt me, he won’t hurt you. He knows you.” He took a step closer, but Kakashi raised his hand a little higher. “Kashi?”

“Iruka, step back.”

“But Sasuke—“

“Step back, he’s not backing down. He’s not seeing you, look at his eyes.”

Iruka looked, the Sharingan was spinning and his eyes were set looking only at Sasuke, he looked dangerous, ready to call the Chidori up to full power and kill with it.

Sasuke stood there, his eyes not leaving Kakashi’s, “Tell me how it has gotten to this.”

“Six years ago he did not return from a mission, it wasn’t a particularly dangerous mission, information gathering mainly. Something happened; he was left without his memory and taken in by a farmer who had a grudge against Ninja. He spent a year being treated less than an animal. Then he was sold as a slave… Naruto came across where he was enslaved and we got him out of there. But not everything went to plan.”

“That’s why you and he are here alone? I see that you aren’t wearing you hitai-ite.”

“They wanted to keep him locked up. He can do this without hand signs, that’s why I asked.”

“I see. And he reacts this way when?”

“He killed the men that had abused him and enslaved him with it. After that when he had bad dreams, though we have no idea what kind of dreams they were. He couldn’t tell us, he’s only just started opening up… to me.”

Sasuke nodded. “All right, let’s see what happens when I do this,” and he revealed his sharingan.

Both saw his eyes widened in surprise. At first Iruka thought Kakashi was going to launch himself at Sasuke, but instead he froze there. Then the chakra vanished and his eyes rolled up into his head and he collapsed, alarming Iruka. He picked his lover’s head off the ground and almost squeaked at Sasuke, “What the hell happened?”

“I think I have the answer to one question anyway. He had a run in with my brother.”

“It was what everyone wanted to believe,” said Iruka, unconsciously petting Kakashi’s hair.

“He reacted to my eyes didn’t he?” Iruka nodded and looked down at his love. “I can’t tell you what Itachi might have done, but it is not a pleasant experience, and he has been though it once before.”

“I remember you and he went into comas after your brother came to the village.”

“Yes, but whatever Itachi did made Kakashi lose his memory. He could have killed him.”

“Can you help me get him back to the cabin?”

Sasuke nodded and moved to help Iruka get the man back to the cabin. He was laid on the bed; all the while Iruka looked worried. Then he followed Sasuke into the other room.

“You’re worrying about how this is going to affect him, aren’t you?”

“Of course I am. The last upheaval drove him over the edge. Can you reseal his chakra?”

Sasuke made a small smile, “Is that how you’ve been keeping him contained?”

“They also put him in a straightjacket.”

“I wasn’t talking about them.”

“Oh. At first yes, but I unsealed him when I started training with him. I hoped that might jog something. Of course his body never forgot anything, but we haven’t been at it that long.”

This time the smile got a bit wider and Iruka had the feeling that he’d said something he shouldn’t have.

Iruka put a cup of tea in front of him and Sasuke drank it. “I wanted to go back to the village with Kakashi in better control of himself if I couldn’t help him remember who he was. I couldn’t leave him there to die.”

“So you really are AWOL. I’m surprised in you Iruka-sensei.”

“It wasn’t all my plan. Some knucklehead in the village helped organize it all.”

“I’m impressed.”

“You should be.”

Sasuke smiled that smile again, “You said Kakashi was a slave for five years and that Naruto came across him, and you didn’t explain why he can’t speak.”

“That happened when the farmer had him. Used to keep him locked up in a barn, tied by his neck the whole time, it’s done a lot of damage, though Tsunade says his voice can be restored.”

“If you can get back into the village. You’ve evaded my questions again. Doesn’t matter, I know anyway.”

Iruka’s tea shot out of his mouth, “What!”

That sly smile returned. “Funny that in my travels, I pass through this village and just happen to see a familiar face through a door of one of the most talked about brothels in the land. I had heard that there was a whore there that was once an Elite Ninja, and if you had enough money you could buy a night with him to do whatever you wanted. So why would a Ninja from the Leaf village be doing working in a brothel, not as a whore, if he weren’t there to check out the story himself, and all alone at that? “

“You saw me?”

This time a chuckle issued. “You wonder why I had to investigate? You of all the Ninja in the village, working in a brothel with no backup? I would have figured on an ANBU, but not you. So there had to be a reason. I waited until the evening and used a henge to get in. I couldn’t see you anywhere, and found myself being escorted into a bar and being asked if I’d like to hire a whore for the night. I asked about the house special, and wound up downstairs with a naked whore by the name of The Bitch.”

Iruka could feel himself turning red, “You didn’t…sleep with him?”

“Are you asking out of jealousy or interest?”

“So you know… All right, out of interest, did you spend the night with The Bitch?”

“Yes.”

Iruka couldn’t raise his eyes to meet with Sasuke. “The Bitch isn’t Kakashi.”

“I know that. But I can say it was one of the most incredible nights I ever spent with a man.”

“You’ve slept with other men?”

The sly smile returned. “Women too. You forget how popular I was.”

Iruka smiled then and shook his head. “The first time I slept with him was at the brothel.”

“I didn’t know how he came to be there, but I figured that you were there to learn what you could to get him out. I had… other things to attend to and I just left the next day.”

“Are you coming home now?”

“Yes.”

“Will you stay until he wakes?”

“Of course. We don’t know what this has done to him.”

“It’s starting to get dark. I’ll make dinner; you can sleep near the fire if you like.”

“Are you going to risk sleeping with him?”

“Yes. I love him.”

Sasuke nodded. “I figured as much. There had to be a reason for you to be risking so much for him.”

“He’s been through so much, how could I not help him?”

Sasuke chuckled again, “You’ve got it bad.”

Iruka smiled as he worked on getting a meal together, ‘Damn right I have.’
