Chiinu

A/N: Sorry for the long delay, I have been out of town. Garmiet, thank you for all the great reviews. To answer your question about the technique: Bunshin Bakuha was a clone exploding technique used by Uchiha Itachi in Anime episode 81. Thank you for pointing out the spelling errors. Not that I like to admit I make them but so I can go back and fix them. Enjoy!

Sasuke stood outside the door to the Hokage’s office, he had been summoned. He turned to glare at the rat masked ANBU who guarded the door. It had been the same one who interrupted when they were talking yesterday. He knew Naruto had told the rat he was to be completely trusted, but right now he could feel said person glaring at him from behind the mask.

“Hokage-sama is expecting me,” Sasuke said, holding up his summons scroll.

“Then knock,” the rat said smugly as he stepped to the side.

“Hn.” ‘What in the hell is this guy’s problem,’ he thought as he knocked on the door.

“Name and business,” came the harsh reply from the side of the door.

“Uchiha.” Sasuke stated simply, waiting to be granted entrance. Silence filled the hall as no sound came from the door. That was until a suspicious chuckling sound came from the rat. Sasuke turned sharply and glared at the guard. ‘That bastard is laughing at me!’

Sasuke turned back to the door and tried again. “Uchiha Sasuke. You summoned me, Hokage-sama.”

“Enter.”

Sasuke sent one more glare at the ANBU before stiffly opening the door. As he entered the office he could see Naruto sitting behind the large desk, diligently reading and stamping papers. He had never see this side of the blonde before. Most people were hard pressed to believe the wacky blonde could even read let alone handle paperwork. He’d bet no one ever thought of putting ‘Naruto’ and ‘Intelligent’ in the same sentence before. But here he was, studiously doing his job. Something he could not remember seeing the last Hokage do.

Naruto spoke without ever looking up, “Close the door Uchiha-san, I’ll be with you in a minute.”

Sasuke sighed as he closed the door. Give the dobe power over him and apparently he was going to milk it for all it was worth. Sasuke stood in front of Naruto’s desk with his hand behind his back. The minutes ticked by. Sasuke grew more impatient, as he watched the large pile of papers Naruto was working on move to the completed area. He had just about had enough. He had been standing here for fifteen minutes, and the damn dobe hadn’t even acknowledged him since he entered.

“Okay, finally,” Naruto proclaimed smiling, as he moved the last paper to the competed area. Sasuke glared at the blonde. He had him standing here while he finished paper work! But before Sasuke could rage at the man he added, “Hiroshi finally got bored and stopped listening at the door.”

“Hiroshi?” Sasuke questioned confused.

“The ANBU guard at the door. He used to be my second in command. Apparently he’s taking his new assignment very seriously.” Naruto said as if it explained everything.

“Hn.” Sasuke moved his arms to his chest as he glared at the closed door. “I think his mask fits him better than his name.”

Naruto crossed his arms and looked up thoughtfully. “Well, I’ve never had a problem with him. But he doesn’t seem to like you very much does he. That’s too bad since you guys are going to be working together now.”

“Wha…” Sasuke turned around just in time to catch the bundle Naruto had tossed at him. He looked down at the white and black uniform. Tied to the top was a red-dog mask. He looked up quickly to his Hokage.

“Chiinu,” Naruto stated simply.

Sasuke looked back down in disbelief at the bundle. Naruto did it. He got the council to approve his entrance into ANBU. Still dazed, he didn’t realize Naruto had moved until he spoke from behind him.

“I hope you studied that scroll I gave you. You should meet everyone today. You will lead unit one, feel free to pick your team from the lot and reassign people as you see fit. I will send a scroll with you, to explain you are now Captain.”

“Of unit one,” Sasuke asked for confirmation, looking over his shoulder.

“Of ANBU,” Naruto said, while running a hand from one of Sasuke’s shoulder to the next as he rounded to face him. “The spot was mine,” he smirked at the surprise in his friend’s face. “I think that it should go to the only person in this village who might have a chance of kicking my ass.”

Sasuke smirked evilly at the comment; you should never feed an Uchiha’s pride. He spoke smugly to the circling blonde, “So, is that what I am to you? Chiinu, your blood dog?” Naruto’s eyes flashed and with a growl he shoved Sasuke against the desk. The bundle flew from his hands and he grabbed the edge of the desk to prevent falling face first into it.

He felt Naruto press tightly against his back as he purred into his ear, “No, you’re my bitch.” He emphasized the point by grinding his hips hard into Sasuke’s ass.

Sasuke fumed and tried to push the blonde off. He stopped struggling when Naruto simultaneously bit into his neck and grabbed the front of his pants. Sasuke moaned and Naruto chuckled, with his elongated fangs against his flesh. Damn bastard, he knew he had him at his mercy. Sasuke felt himself harden as Naruto continued the ministrations on the front of his pants and kissed his previously abused neck.

Sasuke both hated and loved this. He loved that Naruto was finally his to feel and touch. He had craved for this man for so long. He hated that he wasn’t in control. He had always tried to keep tight control of every aspect of his life, including his emotions. But his body wouldn’t listen. As his breathing became harsh, he realized he was a totally willing slave to this Hokage.

Naruto’s hand moved under his vest and slipped under his shirt. Knock, knock.

Came the sharp tap from the door before Hiroshi’s voice sounded, “Hokage-sama. Sakura-san is here to see you.”

Naruto was already seated at this desk and he looked quickly to Sasuke, pleading understanding with his eyes before placing a wide smile on his face. Sasuke frowned and shoved his bundle under his vest, hyper aware that his back was now cold.

“Come in,” Naruto called jovially.

Sakura smiled as she walked through the door. She paused when she noted someone else was in the room. “Oh, Sasuke.” She looked at the Uchiha and took in his red face and deep breathing. She turned to look worried at Naruto. “Am I intruding?”

“No, Sasuke was just leaving. Can you hold on a sec,” he said, as he turned to face Sasuke and handed him something. “Here’s the scroll. I want your report by tonight. Hiroshi!” he called to the open door. The rat appeared and waited instruction. “Hiroshi, it’s time for you to go. Take Uchiha-san with you.”

“Take? But Hokage-sama!” he protested. Sasuke smirked as he walked past the upset ANBU waving the scroll. “Hai, Hokage-sama,” Hiroshi said with a bow before closing the door.

Sakura turned to look at the frowning blonde. “Naruto, did you and Sasuke have another fight?”

“What? Oh, no,” he said smiling sheepishly.

“Hn,” she replied with a raised eyebrow. She observed him fidgeting and didn’t quite believe him. ‘Oh, well,’ she thought and smiled again. “It looks like you gave Sasuke his own assignment. I knew things would get better for him when you became the Hokage.” Naruto blushed and Sakura leaned closer. “So, what did you think about the council’s announcement?” she inquired.

“Yeah! Who would have thought they’d tell everyone about the Kyuubi!” he exclaimed waving his hands wildly.

She giggled as she edge to the side of the desk, leaning further still. “And the other one?” she said huskily.

“And Yondaime being my dad!” he said as he jumped up from the desk.

Sakura stood and walked to stand directly in front of him. She placed a hand on his chest. Standing on tiptoe she softly said, “But I thought the other…”

“I’m hungry! How ‘bout we go get some ramen!” he shouted, running to fetch his hat. He gave her a wide smile, “I’d like to go out and see the villagers like Sandaime used to do. Baa-chan never could because she wouldn’t finish her paperwork.”

Sakura took his arm with a shrug and let him drag her out of the mansion.

----

Naruto walked down the street giving every villager a friendly smile. Sakura now walked a respectful distance behind. When they had left the mansion she was firmly attached to his arm; a few well-directed glances from elder villagers let her know that was not appropriate behavior when concerning a Hokage. Even the fan girls, who had grown in numbers after the council’s announcement, only drooled from afar. The billowing white robes, that draped the young Hokage, seemed to be a barrier that made everyone keep their distance.

That was until a little boy ran toward the pair, as he chased his three-year old brother. The three year old, oblivious to the unseen barrier, grabbed the edge of Naruto’s outer robe and dashed under it to hide from his bother. Naruto’s eyes grew wide and the surrounding villagers gasped as the four-year old joined his brother.

The boys’ mother called out panicked, “Kyo! Ryu!”

Two little heads poked out from the bottom of the robe to look worriedly at their mom. Apparently they had done something wrong. Both sets of eyes turned to look up at the man whose robes they had commandeered.

Naruto smiled brightly before sweeping back the robe to expose both mischievous children. Naruto laughed and scooped up the smallest. Holding him high, he tossed the boy in the air and caught him as the three-year old’s giggles filled the air.

Everyone stared as Naruto repeat the treatment while the older brother tugged on his robes pleading, “Me next! Me next!”

Naruto placed the boy down to pick up his brother. The three-year old ran giggling to his still wide-eyed mother.

Sakura watched as he played with the boys. He really was good with kids. Sakura felt a shiver of delight as she watched Naruto, smiling brilliantly, and the chortling boys. ‘I wonder when he’s gong to ask me?’ she thought happily.

Naruto placed the boy down and ruffled his hair. His mother ran up, with the three-year old in tow, still looked a little worried. “I hope Kyo and Ryu didn’t bother you, Hokage-sama/”

“No problem,” Naruto dismissed before crouching down in front of the boys, “You’ll play with me again, right? Kyo. Ryu.”

“Yeah!” Kyo exclaimed bouncing up and down happily.

“Kage!” Ryu yelled before bounding forward and wrapping his chubby, three-year old arms around Naruto’s neck. Naruto giggled and returned the hug. Ruffling both boys’ hair one more time he said goodbye and continued to Ichiraku.

The villagers stood smiling as they watched him go, thinking how good he was with the village children. More than one fan girl swooned at the thought of marriage and kids with the handsome, young Hokage.

Sakura was walking closer to Naruto’s side as they neared Ichiraku. Naruto was not a standoffish guy and he would not expect other people to be just because he wore a Kage’s hat.

“Good morning Uncle!” Naruto called cheerfully.

Teuchi looked up with surprised eyes, “Hokage-sama?”

“I’ve known you too long for you to call me that. Naruto’s just fine,” he waved off as he sat down.

“You’re eating here?” Teuchi asked incredulously. “I didn’t think I’d see…”

“Why wouldn’t I eat here? I always do,” the blond asked confused.

“Well then you at least have to let me…”

“And no special treatment,” he warned. “I want to be charged the real price. Not free. And not the special price you used to give me.”

Teuchi turned wide eyes to the Hokage.

“You didn’t think I knew, did you?” Naruto gave a wide smile. “You guys helped me for years, the least I can do is pay full price.”

Suddenly Ayame burst in from the back. “Did I hear Naruto? Naruto!” she cried stretching across the bar to hug his neck. “Congratulations! My little boy hasn’t stopped talking about it!”

Naruto eyed her father, “Ayame know how to greet a friend.”

Ayame waved him off as her dad turned to start the ramen. “All the older people will be afraid of your hat,” she giggled and turned to regard the pink-haired girl to his right. ‘Someone sure latched on at the perfect time,’ she thought to herself. She had heard Sakura was his girlfriend but she still couldn’t forgive the girl for her early treatment of her young blonde friend.

Sasuke stood next to Hiroshi, in full ANBU garb, in front of the gathered ANBU. Hiroshi called the group to attention. Their Captain had advanced to Hokage and left them without an official leader. Hiroshi, who had been second in command, temporary took over the leadership role until official orders were given. Everyone, including Hiroshi, thought he was a shoe in for the permanent position.

“We have a new member,” the rat said, indicating the red masked man. He turned to look inquiringly at the Uchiha. He had been so upset Sasuke was allowed in ANBU, he forgotten to ask the man his code name.

“Chiinu,” Sasuke admonished. “And I have a scroll with my orders from Rokudaime,” he said handing them to the rat.

Everyone looked around the back to the scroll in Hiroshi’s hand. They wondered whose team he would be on. He sure stood out with his blood red mask and imposing posture. They were sure he’d never taken an order a day in his life. Little did they know that’s all he had done for the last four years.

Sasuke didn’t wait for Hiroshi to finish reading the scroll before he addressed the group again. “I have been given unit one.” A few gasps filled the pause as they looked toward the rat; his hands were shaking as he red the scroll. Hiroshi was in unit one.

“And I was told to rearrange the groups as I see fit, so I would like to see a demonstration of everyone’s abilities today.” Realization dawned on the group that they had just been introduced to their new Captain.

Hiroshi had passed his limit. “Captain? You shouldn’t be Captain. You shouldn’t even be allowed to be a ninja, let alone Captain!” Everyone watched as Chiinu calmly turned to face a furious Hiroshi. They knew he had coveted the spot that had just been given away and they were all wondering why the position had been given to a newbie.

“Do you have a problem with me Hiroshi?” the Captain asked evenly.

“Damn right I do traitor. You have no right to wear that uniform or have Naruto-sama’s respect! Chiinu?” he drawled looking at him disgusted. “You’re no blood dog. You’re nothing more than the Hokage’s bitch!”

Eyes grew wide behind the masks and they all turned to see what the new Captain would do. A black-gloved hand slowly rose to move the red mask from his face. The bunch gasped again, Uchiha Sasuke. They knew he had been restricted to Chuunin for the past four years but they also knew he was stronger than any of them. Hiroshi had picked a fight, apparently, knowing his identity the whole time.

Sharingan red eyes pierced into Hiroshi and he felt a twinge of fear. Before he could blink, he found himself on the ground. He removed his mask to wipe the blood from his split lip.

Sasuke began to stalk up to him but was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. “Captain.” Sasuke turned to look into the unmasked face of Konohamaru. Sasuke mental rolled his eyes; he had forgotten that name was on the list. It would be like having a brunet Naruto to get on his nerves.

“Let it go. He’s only saying those things about Nii-san as wishful thinking.” Sasuke gave him a confused look and Konohamaru turned to smirk at the rat. “Because we all know that he’s always wanted to be under Naruto-nii-san. That’s why he follows him like a… bitch.”

Sasuke smirked down at the red-faced man. So that was it, another one of the dobe’s unknown conquests. Sasuke stepped back so he could address them as a group, including Hiroshi who was still on the ground.

“Rokudaime has appointed me Captain of ANBU. No defiance will be tolerated from this point on,” he paused to gauge reactions. “As of right now, previous unit standings amount to zero. You will be grouped after my evaluations.” He pointed to Konohamaru, “What is your name?”

“Torikkusuta,” he grinned widely.

Sasuke nodded. ‘Trickster, very fitting,’ he thought. “We will begin with you.”
