19: 調査 および あなた は 見つける/ Sōsa hazu de naru anata wa mitsukeru (A/N:I´m not sure if I got this one right XD) /Search and you shall find

It would be an understatement to say that Tsunade was pissed at the five guilty looking nin on the opposite side of her desk.

“What do you mean by gone?” Tsunade screamed at them. “I know that you freed her to give her some kind of punishment and I am willing to let that pass without punishment as I think you have suffered enough… but I can´t accept the fact that you let her escape!”

“Hokage-sama, we made sure that she couldn´t free herself no matter how long she would struggle,” Ten-Ten told the furious Kage while hiding behind Neji.

“Kiba, did you pick up any trace of anyone but you or Sakura there?” the blonde woman asked.

“No, but we did find traces of blood,” the Inuzuka answered.

“But not so much that we think her life would be in danger,” Neji added, still shielding his teammate protectively.

“Someone might have walked by and freed her,” Shikamaru suggested.

“… Hm,” Tsunade let out a displeased sigh. “Alright then. I can´t allow all of you to leave to look for her. Shikamaru and Neji, you will accompany Kakashi and Iruka for the search for Sakura.”

“Yes Hokage-sama,” the two nin in question said.

“The rest of you will have the pleasure of doing all my paperwork for a month and as an additional punishment I think ten D-level mission each will teach you a lesson.”

A lot of groans and displeased moans were heard while the Hokage seemed quite pleased with her decision.

“So…” Naruto asked the two brooding Uchihas who sat on each side of him. “What now?”

“I won´t give up,” Itachi growled at his younger sibling.

“I have made my rules clear. His ass is mine!” Sasuke hissed back. “The Dobe and I go way back and I was the one who turned him. He is mine!”

“Damn possessive bastards,” the blonde groaned at their stubbornness. “I´m a part of this too and this body still belongs to me! I am not a piece of meat that you can cut up as you see fit.”

Both Uchihas stared at the pouting blonde. “What do you suggest we do then?” Itachi asked.

“You should play together like well behaved kids instead of little brats,” Naruto said. His pout turned into a smirk before he continued. “You must learn how to share without the bickering, or no one will get to play with me. I will leave now to go hunting as I am hungry. I expect you to have come up with a solution for this little problem till I get back or I will have to find a new place to stay tonight… far away from both of you.”

Kakashi and Iruka had just been informed about the rookie nines attempt to punish Sakura, and how the pink haired girl had been gone when they wanted to pick her up at sunrise.

“I understand why you did it but it was still wrong to leave her all by herself. That part of the forest is really scary. What if she had a mental breakdown because of it and hurt herself?” Iruka asked with a disappointed tone. “I am angry with Haruno-san but what you did was not only foolish but dangerous as well. I would have expected more from you.”

“I´m sorry Iruka-sensei,” Neji and Shikamaru said in unison.

“Ma ma done is done,” Kakashi sighed. “Let´s find her ne.”

“Yes,” the teacher sighed.

“Get ready and meet me at the front gate in an hour. Pack for a long trip because I doubt that she will be easy to find.”

Naruto felt full of life and energy when he returned to the cave that served as their hideout for now though they would have to leave before the sun would rise. They needed to track down the Akatsuki to find Madara and that other vampire.

Naruto suddenly wished that he could hear Kyuubi´s voice since he felt uneasy about this unknown vampire. They didn´t know anything about him other than he was very strong, had turned Madara and that he was supposed to be a male.

The blonde had already realized that the purer the vampire blood was the stronger was the powers of said creature.

He had already noticed the difference between him and the two Uchiha brothers. The Teme´s blood tasted different from Itachi´s… stronger and it appealed more to the blonde than Itachi´s blood did.

´Sasuke is stronger than me because his immortal blood is purer than mine. I wonder how much stronger Kyuu´s chakra has improved my strength since I could taste that Itachi blood is less cursed than Sasuke´s or mine… so does this mean that Itachi is weaker than me?` Naruto wondered. ´And why was I unable to resist Itachi earlier? I felt so weak and I doubt that it was just because I was hungry. Do I really have a weak spot for all the Uchihas? `

“Sasuke? Itachi? I´m back,” he called out when he couldn’t see them anywhere.

“We are in here,” Itachi answered from the back of the cave.

“Oi what is up?” Naruto asked and sat down between them. They looked as if they had come to some kind of agreement since both the Uchihas had a smug grin on their lips.

“We have found a way to play nicely together,” Sasuke purred seductively. He licked his lips and ran his fingers across a whisker marked cheek.

“Yeah?” the blonde asked with a slightly trembling voice. He wasn´t sure if this was a good or a bad thing because both of the raven haired nin looked at him as if he was some sort of delicacy only waiting to be devoured.

“Oh we surely have,” Itachi purred seductively while approaching the blonde from the other side. “We will do what you suggested. We have agreed on sharing you so that all three of us will be having a lot of fun together.”

“Um o-k… so how will we do it?” Naruto mewled because both Itachi and Sasuke began to kiss and nibble at his neck.

“Mmmm I will get to fuck you Dobe.”

“And you will get to fuck me,” Itachi added.

“Ah I like that idea,” the blonde purred. “But I´m afraid that this will have to wait since we only have less than three hours till sunrise and we need to track the Akatsuki down.”

“…” Sasuke and Itachi glared at the blonde as he if he had just grown a second head. “You don´t want to play with us?”

“Sure I want too… just not right now,” the blonde said. He had actually managed to make both Uchihas pout at him. “We can play once we have left the fire country and have found a new lair.”

Kakashi knelt down by the traces of blood at the trunk where Sakura had been tied up last night. He examined the wires before looking at the moss-covered ground for traces.

“Hmm interesting,” he mumbled to himself. ´This is the traces of a huge beast… a slug maybe? No there is no slime to be found anywhere. A snake maybe? But the only snakes which are big enough belong to…` Kakashi rose to his feet and pulled out a summon scroll. “Kuchiyose no jutsu!”

“Yo Kakashi what can we do for you today?” the small pug asked while his fellow nin dogs nodded at their master.

“I need you to sniff around a bit. Tell me what you find and then I will tell you what to do,” copy-nin Kakashi ordered. He wanted to hear what the dogs would find without him telling them what to look for, for now.

“´Kashi? Why did you summon your dogs?” Iruka asked. He had asked Neji and Shikamaru to search the area to find any clues that they might have missed in their first search.

“I might have found something… and you aren´t going to like it.”

“What are you talking about?” the brunette asked.

“Kakashi. We found traces of the Haruno girl by the trunk. It appears that she was trying to run, she fell and then all trace of her disappeared,” Bull told them.

“We also picked up on the scent of one of Orochimaru´s snakes, you know the really big one-”

“Orochimaru?!” Iruka interrupted pakkun. “But he is supposed to be dead. What would one of his snakes-”

“I wasn´t finished,” Pakkun said, annoyed that the teacher had interrupted him. “We also found a very faint scent of Sasuke… but it was so weak that we can´t say when he was here. He might have passed through here a week ago for all I now.”

“No he was here last night,” Kakashi said. “He is the only one who is able to summon forth Orochimaru´s snakes. I doubt that we will find Sakura alive but we have to keep on searching.”

“No you can´t think that Sasuke-kun would kill Sakura?” Iruka asked in disbelief.

“Why not? She tried to steal Naruto away from him… you know how possessive Sasuke is when it concerns someone he cares about.”

“So what now?” Shikamaru asked when he and Neji joined the two older nin. They had heard the last part of their conversation and didn´t doubt that the Uchiha would kill Sakura if he got the chance to do so.

“Pakkun, teleport yourself to the Hokage tower and tell Tsunade-sama about this. We will stay here and search for more clues,” Kakashi said with a sigh.

“Troublesome ne?” Shikamaru asked as he saw the look in Kakashi´s visible eye. The older nin was clearly worried about the Hokage´s reaction to this new information.

“Where should we go first?” Naruto asked after they had left the cave in the forbidden forest of Konoha and were travelling through the country of fire.

“We should visit the country of the Rain first. The Akatsuki has their main base there,” Itachi informed them. “I will lead you there.”

“Kakashi,” the little grey pug called out when he returned from the Hokage with new orders.

“How did she react?” the copy-nin asked while his team gathered around him.

“She was pissed and threw her desk out the window,” the dog told them.

“… but Hokage-sama´s desk is bigger than the window,” Iruka stated.

“Well her office got a new panoramic view after she tore down most of the wall when she threw the desk,” the grey furred dog said.

“Troublesome,” Shikamaru sighed. “What does she want us to do now?”

“You are to track Sasuke down and ask him if he killed Sakura and if he did you are to tell Naruto about it. The Hokage thought that would be more than enough punishment for the Uchiha… and I think she knows that she wouldn´t be able to harm the Uchiha no matter what she would do,” said Pakkun.

They traveled fast and silent and only stopped to feed on a pack of thieves who were foolish enough to cross the path of the three vampires with the intend to rob them.

Sasuke, Naruto and Itachi crossed the border to the hidden rain before the scent of the sun reached their advanced senses on the second day. None of them would ever have thought it possible to travel this fast and knew that it was possible because they had fed on more blood than they actually needed to survive.

“We won´t be able to reach Ame-gakure tonight as it will take us at least two hours to find it and the sun will rise soon.” Itachi told them as they searched for a place to stay for the day.

“The hidden village of the rain is always covered in clouds isn´t it?” Naruto asked the Uchiha.

“Yes it is.”

“Maybe that´s why Madera stays there because the sun will never hurt him even if he leaves the citadel during the day?” Sasuke wondered.

“If that is true then we should be able to attack him without having to worry about the rising sun,” the blonde added.

“Maybe but he will still be a tough nut to crack. He has Pein, Konan and Zetsu by his side. Each of them are skilled… this will not be easy,” Itachi warned his companions. “We may not make it out in one piece.”

“Don´t say crap like that aniki. We died once already… I am not afraid to die as long as I take them with me.”

“Teme!” Naruto glared angrily at his best friend and lover. “If you die… then I will die with you. There is no way that I´m letting you go through all the trouble of saving me only to die on me… I will not go on without you.”

“Dobe…” Sasuke slid his arms around the blonde and rested his forehead against the slightly smaller nin´s shoulder. “Let´s make it a promise then.”

“I promise Teme,” Naruto whispered and returned the raven´s loving hug. “I promise.”

Itachi could only stare at them and the display of the special connection between them. ´No matter how much I want Naruto to be mine… I will never be able to give him what he shares with Sasuke. They must be what they call soul mates. `

´This bond between them is so pure and strong that it is possible that not even death will break them apart… I have made up my mind… I will protect their bond with all that I got. Even though I end up with only a tiny bit of what they share with each other I will still be able to die as a happy man.`

“Itachi?” Naruto waved at the older nin to join the hug. He accepted the invitation and hugged both the two people he cherished most in his life.

The hugs quickly turned into more intimate touching and kissing and before they knew it they were all lying naked on a fluffy blanket in a dark cave beneath a raging waterfall that served them as their home for the night.

“Mmm ah yes Sasuke,” Naruto cried out when his lover pushed inside of him. The blonde was hovering above Itachi who was lying on his back, kissing and caressing the delicious honey golden skin.

Itachi cupped the blonde´s scarred cheeks and dragged him down for a passionate kiss. His one hand mapped Naruto´s toned body till he reached said nin´s hip. He then slid his hand in between their bodies and began to stroke the mewling blonde´s rigid erection.

Naruto moved at the same pace as Sasuke was thrusting into his body and moaned at the feeling of Itachi´s hand around his shaft. He grinded his hips down against the older Uchiha´s and earned himself a purr.

“Do you know if Madara or any of the remaining Akatsuki has any kind of weaknesses that we could use against them?”A sleepy blonde yawned. “Well,” Itachi mumbled against Naruto´s shoulder. “Zetsu has two personalities and they rarely agree with each other. Konan uses paper butterflies and stuff like that. She is weak against our fire jutsu just like Zetsu. Pein is dangerous. I never saw the real Pein but he is supposed to hide out underground somewhere.”

“Could he be a vampire too?” Sasuke asked.

“It is possible,” the older Uchiha answered. “Madara is… well an Uchiha. He has our strength, skill and weaknesses.”

“Which means that he has a huge ego and is a possessive bastard like you two?” the blonde chuckled teasingly. This little comment earned him glares from both Uchihas and only caused Naruto to laugh even louder because he knew that he had hit a weak point.

“Does he have someone he cares about?” Sasuke wondered while playing absentmindly with Naruto´s hair.

“I don´t have a clue. We have to observe him to find out.”

Kakashi, Iruka, Neji and Shikamaru had followed a nearly undetectable trail for nearly three days as Iruka remembered how Naruto had mentioned something about going after the Akatsuki.

Kakashi had send a note to Tsunade and asked if she knew where the Akatsuki might be. Instead of a messenger bird, one of Jiraiya´s toads had shown up with a note and a map.

The note was from the white-haired sanin and stated that the Akatsuki was hiding out at Ame-gakure and that he had made a map for team Kakashi so that they would be able to find it.

“Alright,” Kakashi announced after reading the note. “Our next destination is Ame-gakure.”
