Hidden Love

"Compared to what?! Gaara I am not moving from this spot until you tell me! Why can you not just stand up to your father and tell him to stay out of your life and stop beating you! Call the cops do something do not just let him do it!" Lee yelled out to the redhead, feeling his eyes burn in fear for his lover.

Gaara's mood suddenly changed and his eyes went back to the lifeless look. "Everything is fine..you don't need to worry at all." He said in monotone then pushed past him and started walking down the hallway and up the stairs just wanting to get to his room. He had locked himself up...the same thing he always did when teachers would ask him about his bruises.

Lee wouldn't allow that though, he grabbed Gaara and held him close, kissing his forehead. "No... Gaara-kun.. do not hide what is wrong.. tell me.. why are you suddenly acting odd... I will not let your run away..." Lee said tilting Gaara's head up, leaning in and giving him a soft kiss. Then the Kitchen doors flung open and slammed shut behind them, letting them know Gaara's father was on his way out now.

Gaara's eyes widened in fear and he pushed away from Lee looking down the hallway knowing if they stayed there his father would find him. "P-Please! Let's go!" He said and pulled on his arm. "I d-don't want my father making me switch schools again! If he asks again you better say I go to a different school..I c-can't be moved again." He said and turned running up the stairs.

Lee's eyes widened and he followed Gaara but when he heard foot steps behind him he grabbed the boy and yanked him into the first room he could which looked like a sewing room. "Gaara-kun... please.. maybe I can help.. what has he done..? Why are you so fearful of him...?" He asked gently stroking the boy's cheek afraid for his lover, seeing him so terrified.

Gaara was trembling and he shook his head. "I-I'm fine r-really everything is fine." He said his eyes still the darker lifeless green. "You don't n-need to worry about anything." He said giving a fake smile and then pushed his hand down and moved so he could listen at the door to see if his father had left or not.

Lee finally couldn't take it anymore and he spun Gaara around pinning him to the door. "No... Gaara you will tell me what he did right now.. I care about you and will not be a push over while you push away something huge... what is the matter..?"

Gaara gasped at suddenly being pinned and struggled. "I-It's none of your c-concern I am handling it!" He spat and looked away from him. "I have been handling sine I was a kid and I will keep handling it! You don't need to worry about it." He said and bit hard into his lip. 'I c-can't tell him...of w-what happened in the past...and the f-fact I t-take on everything so my siblings won't be harmed..'

"Then fine I will just beat it out of your father, I can see you obviously do not truthfully trust me.. that is probably why you gave your first time to Riku huh? You knew you would be dating me and you were scared I would mes sup, I will prove to you I can take care of you then," Lee said moving him and opening the door.

Gaara flinched then grabbed onto Lee's shirt and pushed him back from the door. "D-Don't! H-He is stronger then you think you caught him off guard before!!" He yelled and felt his eyes tear up. "A-And what do y-you mean by t-that...I d-didn't want that to happen...I had t-thought you betrayed me...just..ugh!" He turned and walked through the door. "J-Just go to school I w-will be there later." He said and ran down the hallway and all the way to his room. 'I was stupid! I s-shouldn't have let him stay the night...I d-don't want to change schools again..' He thought and picked up his backpack.

"Me betray you?! Gaara you are the one who had sex with Riku... I mean... I love to say that it didn't hurt me... but it did... but you know what I love you so much I can look past that, but.... you are acting like you do not trust me, that you do not care that I want to help you and it hurts me more than anyone ever could with violence or words...!" Lee said and he yelled out as Gaara ran away. Then he mumbled to himself while walking home to change. Then he went to school and sighed finding everyone was avoiding him now, Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Gaara was no where to be seen. Even when he saw Riku he was shot down by a fierce glare. So he just went to acting class, hoping to god that the teacher did not make them practice anymore. The play was coming up, and Lee honestly did not think he could do the role of romeo anymore.

Naruto walked into the class and stretched. "Hm? Oh sup Bushy-Brows!" He called and walked over to him. "What you up to?" He asked then blinked noticing how down he looked. "Hey I need to tell you about Sai..that guy is a jerk!" He then started to go on rant about all date he had with Sai.

Lee was completely not listening and he sat there waiting for Gaara but he did not show up. "Uh-huh.. sooo do not date teachers..." Lee mumbled and he grabbed his bag without giving a look to Naruto walking over to the door. "I am going to skip class.. bye..."

Naruto pouted and sat down with a huff and then sweat dropped when Lee walked into someone. "Oh I was looking for you mister!" Ian growled and grabbed Lee by his shirt and dragged him out of the room and then lead him outside. "Why are all the cute ones such assholes?" He asked himself then turned to look at the taller male. "What's wrong with you? Do you have any idea how much you upset Gaara-chan?" He asked narrowing his eyes at him in a glare and set his hands on his hips.

Lee blinked for a few moments not processing who the male was at first before he recognized him. "Oh.. you are Gaara's friend that was hitting on me.... and how did I hurt Gaara?! He is the one who ran away! He started lying and being.. a.. a corpse!" Lee yelled because he was already pretty upset.

"How else is someone gonna act when they get the shit beat out of them by their father? He called me this morning...he says you lied to him, that you had told him you held no ill feelings about what he did with his ex, he watched you for years with that pinked haired bitch and holds nothing towred you anymore.." He said and then leaned so he could whisper. "Why he puts up with all his fathers crap is so his dad doesn't harm his siblings, he has had to deal with this for years and just locks himself up when people ask him about it..am I getting through to you cause I really don't want to have to smack you or something."

"But... even if that happens he should not lock up... I want Gaara-kun to be safe around me.. but he seems to think his father can beat me... I.. I just want Gaara safe... and people lie to make others happy.... I am not mad about what he did just hurt... he knew we had feelings for each other.. he let idiotic Riku take advantage over him..." Lee muttered and he backed up. "You started all of this... I could have just gone home after staying at Gaara's for a bit but it was too late by the time we got back.. I would have been in trouble for staying out too late if you want to be pinning blames on anyone... and further back than that Sakura for screwing up mine and Gaara's relationship in the first place, and Riku for keeping us apart. We are all to blame so do not pick on me! I just want Gaara to understand I care about him so what he does hurts me too, I am only human..." Lee mumbled his eyes tearing up and looking down. He would not cry, not here not now.

Ian sighed then reached out and patted Lee on the shoulder. "He loves you a lot...but he has just been alone for so long its hard for him to believe in anyone anymore..when people kicked you down enough its hard to keep getting back up..you can't change what has happened in the past but you can try and make a better future." He explained then put his hands back on his hips. "He's on thin ice right now and if he pisses off his dad he is gonna be sent away-...er never mind just go to class skipping his baaad and not a fabulous thing!"

"I do not care if I am skipping.. I will go to my next class... just not theater... Gaara may be there.. I can not face him and be a proper Romeo..." Lee mumbled before he pulled back and folded his arms. "Bye..." He mumbled turning and going to walk to his next class early.

The teacher was setting up for class and glanced over at Lee as he came in. "Class has not started yet..go wait in the hall." He said and started writing on the board. Then twitched when Naruto ran into the room. "Oh there you are." "Two students skipping?" The teacher said looking annoyed but rolled his eyes and ignored them for the moment.

Lee almost shot a glare to the teacher but he didn't and he looked at Naruto. "What do you want, this is not your next class..." He mumbled to the blond before his hurt brown eyes looked back down at the ground.

Naruto frowned then stepped forward and hugged his friend. "Hey come on don't look so down..whats wrong?" He asked then pulled his phone out. "Hey have you seen redhead? He hasn't shown up to any of his classes." "Isn't that normal for drop outs?" The teacher grumbled and then glared at the blond. "Hey no cell phones in here!" He said and Naruto sweat dropped. "I am not making a call just checking something." Naruto complained, the teacher was always mean to Naruto and Gaara. Since Naruto couldn't pass his classes and Gaara just never did the work.

Lee pulled out of the hug wincing and he glared at the teacher, "Shut up, you always have problems. We can check the time since you are too lazy to get a new clock," He spat out snapping a bit before looking at Naruto. "I do not know where Gaara is... he hates me now.. I am a horrible boyfriend..."

Naruto sweat dropped then cleared his throat. "Uh...wait did you guys have a fight?" He asked and then blinked when the teacher walked up to Lee. "What did you say to me young man?! Don't you speak to me like that, I like it better when you do what you are told." He said glaring at the black haired boy.

"And I like it better when you teach the class instead of harassing the girls or looking down or up their uniforms. We all know you are a sleazy, scum bag teacher who doesn't deserve this job so you know what, for once I am in a bad mood, stay the fuck out of it! Go back home to your wife and kid and you know what, get a real job, not just one that you chose because you are a pedophile and have a fetish!" Lee yelled out and then he moved right up close to the teacher, "And another thing, do not even fucking dare say Gaara is a drop out, you are a fucking asshole with your grades, giving separate homework for genders just because you want the girls to pass and men to fail. You know what I am fucking ten times smarter than your ass because at least I realize when I make mistakes in my life besides y-!...I made.." Lee then thought about what he said standing don a little and then he turned spinning around on his heel. That is exactly what he did, he made a mistake, and did not except it. He had to find Gaara and apologize.

The teacher's jaw had dropped and stood there frozen. "Well now..looks like everyone knows that your a perv now." Naruto said opening the door wider to show all the students standing in the hallway looking at the room, all shocked that Lee had told off a teacher. "You might as well quit now dude your screwed." The bond said then waved. "Bye now!" And ran back to his class.

Lee finally couldn't find Gaara and he went into a bathroom slamming the door and punching it since it was steel and then he could not break it.  "Fuck!" He yelled under he heard a light noise and he turned freezing to see Gaara there. "Gaara-kun..?" He asked  moving over to the boy to see he was applying make up on. "What are you doing?"

Gaara looked away from him and pulled his hood back up so it covered his eyes. "Nothing..what are you punching doors for?" He asked in monotone and started to stuff everything back into his backpack and zipped it up. 'Could this day get any worse..' He thought.

Lee grabbed Gaara's wrist gently and pulled him close tilting his head up in the light. It was faint but he could see the outline of a black eye and he frowned, "who hit you...?" He asked rubbing his thumb on Gaara's cheek lightly and lovingly.

Gaara stiffened up caught off guard by the action then stepped away from his eyes going back to the lifeless green. "I took a bad fall..no one hit me." He said and then slipped his wrist out of the older males grip. "Why are you acting all nice suddenly?" He asked and stepped around him opening the bathroom door. 'I don't understand him at all..I shouldn't have even bothered to come to school..I should just go met up with Sasuke so we can get his things..' He thought.

"No one.. your father huh? You know what.. honestly I am tired of hearing about this.. I am going to put your father in his place.." He mumbled and he moved around Gaara and started to role up his sleeves and walking to the gate of the school.

Gaara quickly ran ahead and stood in front of Lee. "Stop! I can handle this myself no one needs to step in!" He yelled then froze seeing students were looking at him and he winced and pulled his hood down lower. 'If I do one more thing out of line I am gonna end up in a boarding school...I don't want to be sent away.' He thought gritting his teeth. "The gate has been fixed anyway you can't get in if you tried." He said lowering his voice back to monotone.

"Watch me, and fuck what you father says, you can stay at this school with me, come live with me and my father for god sakes Gaara the man has been beating you this whole time.. I am not standing for it," Lee said and he easily scaled the school gate and took off in a dash for Gaara's house.

Gaara gasped and tried to climb over the gate after him. "Lee stop!!" He shouted and struggled to pull himself over the gate. 'No!! I don't want my father hurting him! He doesn't understand I can't run away..' He thought thinking about his siblings. "Gaara what are you doing up there?" Naruto asked walking up to the gate and raising a eye brow at his friend.

Lee was already climbing up and over Gaara's home fence by the time Gaara and Naruto where there and he dashed into the home going to find Gaara's father. A few maids began to panic at yelling unsure of what to do until Lee dragged Yamaru out by his clothes. 'See Gaara.. I can take care of you and me...' He thought to himself before pulling the brown haired male to his face. "Look, if you dare ever lay a fucking hand on Gaara again so help me I will kill you.." Lee growled out and the man laughed and raised his fist to punch Lee but the young male was to fast throwing him down again the concert walk way. "Try it again I dare you! Now as I said, never fucking touch your son! And do not think of sending him to a boring school because that will be the last you hear of him me or anyone..." Lee growled out and when Yamaru went to speak Lee punched him square in the jaw.

Gaara finely reached the front gate and entered in the code. "Come on..come on.." He muttered and when it opened him and Naruto ran in, the redhead stopped when he saw his father and Lee. 'Oh no..what happened?!' He thought and stayed where he was not sure what to do. Naruto looked at Lee and then made his way over. "Uh Lee..?"

"I will just order to have you killed it is no big-" Another had short from Lee. "That the best you c-" Yet again another. In fact every time Yamaru opened his mouth Lee punched him, so much so he even began to cry. "Why will you not just shut up and learn! Leave Gaara and Me and everyone alone! You are a horrible person!"

Gaara covered his mouth with his hand and stared wide eyed at the two. 'I d-don't understand...why is Lee going to such lengths for me..' He thought then tried hard to find his voice but felt like there was a lump in his throat. Naruto walked over and set a hand on Lee's shoulder a little worried he might actually kill the guy. "Alright Lee..I think he gets it lets go.." He said.

Lee stopped, he did not even notice Yamaru stopped trying to say anything. He shook and got off of him then stood up, bowing his head so his bangs covered his teary eyes. "Do not touch me..." He mumbled before just stepping over the male and starting to walk home, back turned on Gaara. The brown haired male coughed up blood then sat up and reached his hand out to Gaara. "Do not j-just stand there help m-me up!"

Gaara felt a ache in his heart watching the older male leave then looked back at his father and hesitantly reached out and grabbed his hand pulling him up. Naruto watched them closely, he was staying to make sure nothing happened. 'Well at lest Gaara's dad has the whole huge pride thing and probably won't call the cops or anything..' He thought and sighed.

Yamaru glared at Lee who jumped the fence again before he wiped his mouth of some blood, a smirk forming. "He did all t-that for nothing.. you still are loyal, he is stupid thinking a freak like you would fit anywhere else, Come on son.." He said to the younger male while turning and starting to walk away into the house.

Gaara frowned and looked away from his father. "I'm not a freak.." He said tightening his hands into fists and looked up at Naruto who was giving him a worried look. "I am staying here for while.." The blond said and Gaara blinked. "Wha?" "Lee wouldn't want you to get hurt so I am gonna stick around for awhile.." Naruto said and Gaara looked down at the ground. 'So Sasuke and Naruto are gonna be here...wait Sasuke!' "Naruto I need you for a favor...come on.." He said grabbing the blonds arm and leading him to the gate trying hard not to cry over that fact Lee had left. 'D-Does this mean he doesn't want to be near me anymore?..'

Gaara's father didn't even honestly notice he left as he went inside. Meanwhile Sasuke was sighing hurrying while pulling down his clothes  off the hangers and stuffing them into cheep garbage bags. "Damn Lilly.. what the hell is with her saying I owe money... I don't..." He mumbled and sighed while walking out into the living room going to the door only to wince when it smacked him in the face. "Ow..." He groaned landing on the floor.

"Ok so who is this friend we are helping?" Naruto blinked and looked down his eyes widening. "Sasuke?!" "Hello Sasuke.." Gaara said his voice sounding sad. "Ok you didn't tell me it was Sasuke!" Naruto complained and crossed his arms with a huff and Gaara ignored him and picked up one of the bags.

"Why is he here?" Sasuke asked glaring a little as he helped himself up. Naruto and Sasuke had never gotten off on a good start so everything that happened after then just was arguing and fighting. However; the Uchiha did not have time to waist so he shoved the bag into Naruto's chest playfully, "But what ever.. I can see if the little whiny baby isn't strong enough to carry some clothes for me," He said in a simple voice.

Naruto twitched and picked up three of the bags. "Who you calling a baby! What is going on anyway that you would have to leave? What did you start up a drug ring?" He said smirking and looked at the door. "Can we go this place smells funny." "That's in-scents. Its a relaxing thing." Gaara muttered and picked up another bag. "Is this all of your stuff?" He asked.

Sasuke nodded holding two bags himself before he glared at the blond. "Actually if you must know I made a mistake dating a daughter of a very rich man when I moved and she is a complete bitch and now says I owe her money and my land lady is kicking me out because she is tired of getting asked by thugs where I am," he grumbled out then he sighed when he walked outside and saw no car. "Where is Lee? I thought he would come to help I mean he has a car..."

Gaara winced at hearing Lee's name and bowed his head so his bangs covered his eyes. "Sasuke! Shut up, don't talk about Bushy-Brows right now.." He said pointing to the redhead who looked even more upset now. "And wow you sure do some pretty stupid things, you and woman just don't work out man."

Sasuke blinked at being yelled at and then he looked at Gaara, immediately apologizing when he saw the look, "I am sorry Gaara I did not.. I thought you guys were happy this morning.. excuse how I said that... we can walk..." Me mumbled and then the last part of what Naruto said processed and he turned red yelling, "What are you trying to tell me I am gay and belong with a man?!"

Gaara just shrugged and kept his head bowed and then walked around the room to make sure nothing was left. Naruto simply smirked and laughed. "Well maybe you should think of dating a guy, woman are to much trouble and all the chicks at are school our sluts...expert for like ten." He said enjoying how Sasuke was spazzing.

"N-Naruto just shut up, you obviously do not know me at all.. I.. I like women... they have.. things to hold onto..." Sasuke said trying to find a good explanation though he failed and he just turned redder. "W-weill you just shut up.." He finally added when he realized his explanation failed miserably.

Gaara sweat dropped listening to them and started to get annoyed. "Can we go now?" He asked. Naruto laughed again and set the bags down. "Things to hold onto? "Woow Sasuke thats all you can say? I think your just dating all these chicks to hide what you really want." He teased and crossed his arms behind his head. "Woman have way to much drama, that's why I like men."

"Y-yeah and look where that got you.. apparently you dated the art teacher Sai and he cheated on you and now you are lonely again. Men are sleaze bags!" Sasuke yelled out and then he realized he did not deny what Naruto had said before and he set his things down walking forward and pushing on his chest. "And I do not want men..." He growled out.

Naruto glared at him and moved his hands down and poked Sasuke in the shoulder. "Shut up! I'm not like that..I just didn't think and rushed into things.." He said feeling a little hurt and was about to start yelling something but Gaara had finely had it with the yelling and shoved Naruto forward. "Stop it already!" He snapped and gasped seeing he had knocked the two over. Naruto was now frozen since his lips had landed on the black haired males.

Sasuke made a noise when he fell and then he took in a quick gasp for breath before the blond's lips crashed into his own. For a second he was in complete shock, his body almost shaking before he raised his hands quickly pushing Naruto off. "G-g-get off of me dobe!" He yelled and then scooted back as quickly as he could back pressed against a wall trying to stay back.

Naruto was a dark red and he was waving his hands in front of himself. "S-Sorry!! G-Gaara why did you push me!" He snapped and the redhead shrugged. "Can we go now please? I want to get this stuff back to the house." He said and picked up his things. "Dad is leaving for a business trip today so we don't have to worry..he is normally only home on Wednesdays and Fridays.." He said and Naruto got up picking up the begs he had set down.

Sasuke hesitantly rose to his feet and he kept his head low, staring at the ground his bangs covering his eyes while his face stayed bright red. "Y-yeah.. just.. go home..." He mumbled and picked up the bags then left outside the house stopping by the land lady to drop off his key before coming back out to them awkwardly moving to stand next to Gaara and not Naruto while walking.

Gaara glanced at Sasuke and gave a confused look. "You alright?" He asked then sweat dropped noting both Sasuke and Naruto seemed awkward. He lead them back to the mansion and enter in the gate code after explaining to Sasuke what it was so he could let himself in. They walked up to the room that would be the Uchiha's and handed Sasuke a key. "So your the only person on the same side of the house as me.." He said and set the bags on the bed.

"Alright.. um what about Naruto..? Isn't he staying here? And what about the maids..?" He asked unsure of what to do used to living by himself, however he slipped the key into his pocket and set the bags he had down on the bed knowing they were the valuables.   

Naruto set the bags he was carry down on a desk and then sat in the chair. "Wow this room is nice, and its not like I will be living here..well unless Gaara would let me." He said playfully and Gaara rolled his eyes and went over to the closet and opened it. "Well this room has everything you need..the closet has lots of room. And don't worry about the maids they are very friendly." He said and moved the control for the TV to the night stand. "You can ask the maids for things but please be kind.." He added.

"That is not what I meant about the maids... I uh.. what if I do not want them doing anything for me? As soon as I left the room earlier one came in and cleaned it for me... it feels odd... I don't want them to do anything..." Sasuke mumbled chewing on his bottom lip as he moved and sat down on the bed, keeping his eyes on Gaara avoiding looking at Naruto.

Naruto pouted at being ignored and leaned back in the chair. "Well just put a sign on your door that says 'Keep out' or something." He muttered. Gaara folded his arms and sighed deeply. "I will tell them to leave your room be then..when you want something washed just put it in the blue bin and set it outside your door." He said pointing to the bin in the closet. "And it will be washed and returned to your door."

Sasuke didn't like that though. "Women shouldn't have to work though... I can do my own laundry.. where is the wash room...?" He asked really feeling odd for possibly having people wait on him hand and foot. However when Naruto said something he glanced at him, but his body grew excited and he looked away blushing a little. "Dobe shut up... why on earth would you think that would work?"

"I dunno cause it normally does teme!" Naruto said and stuck out his tongue then whined when Gaara smacked him on the back of the head. "Ow mean!" "It's fine Sasuke..they don't mind and that's what they are paid to do. It's not like there is a lot of people living here." Gaara explained and then looked at the bags. "You gonna set up your room? You can do what ever you like to it." He said and then looked at the floor as he started to think.

"I am not in the mood too right now.. I really want to be um.. left alone.." He mumbled and then he scooted back on the bed. "Your dad woke me up rudely this morning.. I barely got any sleep... so can I get some sleep?" He inquired looking between the two.

Gaara nodded and then grabbed Naruto by the back of his jacket and started to drag him out. "Wha? Hey!" He yelled then grabbed the door so not to be pulled out of the room. "Wait I need to talk Sasuke for a sec!" He said and Gaara rolled his eyes then turned and went down the hallway to his room. "Uh..ok Sasuke...ask much as you bug the crap out of me I need your help to cheer up Gaara...you do care about him right? Like you're buddys?"

"Of course I care about Gaara, but it is best to leave him alone right now.. he is hurt I can see it in his eyes and if you push too much on trying to make him happy he is going to push you out," Sasuke said with a long sigh before closing his dark eyes feeling they were tired. "What happened anyways?"

"Uh...drama with Lee..they were dating..I am not sure if they are still together." Naruto said and frowned looking at the ground. "I hate to see him upset like this I don't know what to do..some best friend I am.." He muttered and ran a hand through his hair.

Sasuke's eyes opened hearing the sadness in his voice and he frowned getting up and walking over. He placed his hands on Naruto's chest and leaned in a little his lips so close to Naruto's again. "You are not a bad best friend.. you are a great friend..." He whispered leaning closed before his eye twitched and he added. "So be a good friend and get out of my room so I can sleep and do not bug Gaara about his problems," Sasuke muttered patting Naruto on the chest while pushing him out of the room.

Naruto couldn't help but blush at how close the black haired male had become then nearly tripped as he was pushed out of the room. "Ay!" He complained then sweat dropped when the door was slammed shut. 'The fuck!...That was kind of odd..' He thought.
