The dark haired ninja turned the corner, cursing his blonde headed teammate for about the seventh time that morning. Neither he nor Sakura had thought anything about it when the dobe was late, but when Kakashi got there and there was still no sign of the blonde, Kakashi just had to send Sasuke to get him. He came to a stop in front of a small house. Honestly, he had never really been to the blonde dobe’s home, but he expected a something a little more...messy. With a sigh he walked up to the door, bringing his fist up to knock on it. the minute he touched it, the door creaked open. 'Leave it to Naruto to leave his door open' He thought, walking in.

"Oi, dobe!" Sasuke yelled walking inside. He waited to hear the loudmouth shout back, expecting some sort of an insult. What he didn't expect was to be met with silence. Silence and a clean house. There were no ramen cups decorating the floor, or clothes strewn about like he pictured. If anything, you could say the blondes house was empty. there was an old looking couch in what he supposed was the living room, a fridge and table beside it. The only thing separating the living room and kitchen was the carpet and linoleum. He could see into a small bathroom from where he was standing, and he figured the door beside that must be the bedroom.

"You better not still be asleep" he mumbled, getting a bit irritated. Sasuke pushed the door open. The bedroom was just as empty as the rest of the house. One bed, a dresser, and a couple of books...and no Naruto. Sasuke turned to leave when he noticed something. Unlike the rest of the house, the bedroom was messy. His covers for his bed were thrown off, almost like there had been a struggle.

‘Your becoming paranoid Sasuke…’ He thought, walking out the door. He would simply go back and tell Kakashi that Naruto wasn’t at home. ‘I swear he just loves wasting my time…but…what if something did happen? What if Naruto had been attacked?’ Sasuke started to get a sick feeling in his stomach. He disregarded it as hunger, thinking he would just go home and grab a bite to eat. His house wasn’t far from here anyways.

“You think we shouldn’t have left him there? I mean, what if the Hokage finds out we did it?”

“What are you talking about, the demon brat got what he deserved. The Hokage would probably thank us!”

“Are you kidding? She likes the brat, though I don’t know why. He’s always calling her Tsunade-baba. Disrespectful monster, I hope he’s done died back in that alley”

Sasuke wasn’t sure why he was listening to the four men talk, but the awful feeling in his stomach returned when he hear him say ‘Tsunade-baba’. He only knew one person that would have the guts to call Hokage-sama that. Naruto.

‘It’s just a coincidence, Naruto’s probably just goofing around. Still, if that’s the case why am I worried?’

It was true. The great Sasuke Uchiha was worried about the outcast Naruto Uzumaki. He completely disregarded the men, forming his hand into a seal. “Sharingan!”. Sasuke’s usual black eyes turned blood red, three pinwheels circling the middle. He turned, scanning the area for the familiar chakra signal.

“Found ya!” He took off, jumping from the top of buildings until he came to the alleyway that the signal was coming from. His eyes faded back to their original color as he dropped down onto the pavement. It took a moment for him to get adjusted to the dark. He could see the outline of what he figured was Naruto. He started walking towards him but stopped as soon as he could see clearly. The sight before him made him want to turn around and puke.

Naruto was curled up, covered in blood and something else Sasuke didn’t recognize. The only thing covering the boy was his bright orange jacket that had been thrown across him roughly. Sasuke could see the tear streaks in his eyes and hear him whimpering still.

“Naruto?” He asked, kneeling down beside him. He saw the boys eyes flutter a bit before opening. The minute he saw Sasuke he jumped back, holding his arms up to shield his face. He was whimpering something. Sasuke walked a bit closer so he could hear the words coming out of his mouth.

“Please…please...don’t hurt me no more...please…I’ll do what ever you want...just don’t hurt me…please”

Sasuke felt like throwing up again. What had they done to him? Never had he heard Naruto beg for his life. Naruto would never give up on anything. Yet her he was, shivering and sobbing in front of him. For once Sasuke had no idea what to do.

“Na…Naruto it’s me…It’s Sasuke, I’m not going to hurt you dobe…” For the first time in a while there was sincerity and worry in the usual stoic boy’s voice. He picked up Naruto’s jacket and wrapped it around the smaller boy’s shoulders.

“Sasuke..” Naruto whimpered. When he saw the boy nod he jumped into his arms, nearly knocking both of them back. Sasuke could feel the blondes tears soaking through his shirt. He wasn’t sure what to do, but hesitantly wrapped his arms around the crying boy. He had never seen Naruto cry before, and he didn’t like it. Silently he swore to kill the bastards that did this to the dobe, to his dobe.

Sasuke could feel the blonde go limp in his arms and carefully lifted him up, holding one arm beneath his knees and the other around his shoulders. He couldn’t help but blush as Naruto unconsciously snuggled up to him. The dark haired boy was one of the few that noticed the dobe’s beauty. Though, he would rather cut out his own tongue than admit it.

It didn’t take long to get to the Hokage tower. Sasuke didn’t even bother with going in the door. He jumped through the window, nearly knocking Tsunade off her chair.

“You ungrateful little brat! Haven’t you ever heard of knocking?!” The blonde woman said, not noticing the unconscious boy in his arms.

“I’m sorry Hokage-sama but Naruto needs your help.” Sasuke’s voice was as monotone as ever, but Tsunade could see the worry in his eyes. She shifted her gaze to the boy in his arms and nearly screamed. Her Naruto, who she had practically adopted as a little brother, was covered in blood and semen, wearing nothing but a dirty orange jacket.

“What the hell happened to him Uchiha!?” She yelled, grabbing the boy and walking towards the door. Sasuke followed her and watched as she laid him down on a table in the next room. She immediately began checking his vitals. He was covered in cuts and bruises, and he had two cracked ribs, but nothing fatal. What really made her sick were the hand shaped bruises on his hips and thighs. She was by no means stupid, and knew exactly what had happened. As soon as she was done washing the blood off of him she began healing his wounds, starting with the ribs, then going on to the minor things. As soon as she was done she left the room, going into a small bathroom. Sasuke knew she was puking, he felt like doing the same thing. When she was finished, she came back into the room, nodding for him to follow her. Tsunade sat back down at her desk, Sasuke sitting across from her. The murderous look in her eyes scared him, but he knew she was just as worried as him.

“What happened?” she asked, her voice full of venom. Sasuke starred at her a minute before answering.

“I don’t know, I found him like that in an alley close to my house..”

“Damn it!” Her palms hit her desk, causing ignored papers to fly off, “What kind of sick bastards would do something like that!”

“It was four men, maybe more, all chuunin. One had red shoulder length hair and wore his hitai-ate like a bandana, he was medium build. One was large and bald, he wore his hitai-ate around his arm and had a scar across his forehead. The other two both had brown hair that spiked up and wore their hitai-ates on their foreheads.” Tsunade starred at him in shock.

“And how, pray tell, do you know that?” She asked, resting her head on her fingers. Sasuke shot her a glance that seemed to say ’I dare you to suspect me of this’ before continuing.

“I overheard them talking. That’s how I knew to look for Naruto. I didn't take the time to study them any more than that.”

"Those sick fucks." she stared at some of the papers on her desk.

"Any Idea who did it?" he asked trying to sound monotone but failing.

“No, but from what I’ve seen it’s not the first time, and probably not the last…I don’t want him staying alone, so I’ll have to talk to Iruka about living arrangements-”

“He can stay with me” He said, not letting her finish. She looked at him as if he were a ghost and Sasuke could feel his cheeks warming up. “I have a lot of room in my house so…I wouldn’t mind having a little company…”

Tsunade was sure she was hearing things, but none the less, she nodded. “As soon as he is awake I’ll let you take him.” she said calmly, “Go to his house now and gather all of his things…I’ll have Kakashi help you.”

“Yo!” Standing in the window was a silver haired man, his face stuck in an orange book. Sasuke wanted to strangle him at this point. Kakashi’s never failing system of being late when he was expected and just showing up when he wasn’t was unnerving.

“I’ve got it, Sasuke can stay with Naruto…also, may I have a word with you Hokage-sama” The silver haired jounin looked towards Sasuke, “Alone…”.

The stoic boy got the point, leaving without another word. He started walking towards the room Naruto was in when he heard a crash. He rushed into the room to find Naruto curled up in the corner crying again and a very worried looking Shizune. Tsunade’s assistant looked over at the dark-haired boy.

“I was just bringing Naruto-kun his food when he started to stir…I..I brushed his bangs out of his eyes and when he saw me he freaked out…” She said, turning back towards the blonde ninja. Sasuke sighed, walking over towards the sobbing boy.

“Oi, Dobe…” He said, kneeling down. Pale blue eyes met black ones as the two boys sat there.

“Sa..Sasuke…” He stuttered. Sasuke scowled at the fear laced in the blonde's voice, as if he weren't sure what to expect.

“Who do you think, dobe?” Sasuke didn’t even have time to blink as, once again, Naruto jumped into his arms, this time successfully knocking them both down. “Calm down will you.” Sasuke said, pulling both him and the smaller boy in his arms to their feet. He practically dragged Naruto over to the bed, and after trying to pry the boy from him and failing, climbed into it with him. Sasuke propped his back up against the bed stand. Naruto still had his arms woven around the boys waist, his head resting against one of his arms.

“Get some sleep dobe, your coming to stay with me when you get up, k?” He said, petting the boys hair. Naruto nodded still shaking. All Shizune could do was smile. She had never seen the caring side of Uchiha Sasuke and she decided she liked it. After cleaning up the mess Naruto made with the food tray, she left the boys alone in the room.

“No!” Tsunade’s palms found there way to her desk as she let her bangs fall in front of her eyes, hiding the anger, fear, worry…all the emotions she was quite content on keeping hidden from the counsel in front of her. “He is just a child…Naruto would never do anything to harm this village!!”

“The Kyuubi vessel is loosing control to the demon! That was made quite clear at the chuunin exams!” one of the men snapped, “If he gets loose Konoha will not stand a chance!”

“Naruto has complete control, there is no way he would let that...that…thing out!” Tsunade could barely believe what she was hearing. These men wanted to take away her most precious person, and she would be damned if she let that happen.

~Flashback~

“Kakashi-san, what is it…?” Tsunade looked up from her desk, laying down a newly stacked pile of papers around the other neglected work. She couldn’t help but worry about the blonde lying in the hospital room. What kind of monsters would do that to a child? Her nails bit into her skin as her fists tightened.

“The counsel…they are requesting you for an emergency meeting…but, what I want to talk to you about is Naruto. Is he ok?” The gray haired jounin asked, his trademark orange book put back in his pocket. Tsunade looked up to him, meeting his grey eyes…or well, eye. She thought about lying but knew that he was not that stupid, instead she sighed, leaning back into her chair.

“Honestly…I don’t know. He was found with many bruises and cuts, some older than others, meaning this hadn’t just started. But- wait, Kakashi, you didn’t know about him being ambushed, did you?” She said, sending a small glare towards the man.

“I had my suspicions…but no proof to act on. Please go on.”

“What really disgusts me is he was…was…” She was trembling, wanting to burst into tears, “He was raped Kakashi! Those men raped Naruto…my Naruto!”. She knew she had cracked as she felt the water trail down her cheeks. Kakashi’s eyes were wide, staring at her as if she had gone crazy. Suddenly his shock turned to anger. His student had been hurt, in a horrible way, and the offender would not go unpunished His mind was swarming with ways to painfully murder the men as Tsunade wiped the tears from her face, then looked up at him once more.

“But…he‘s shaking all the time, and he‘ll only respond to Sasuke . I have healed all his wounds, and any drugs would’ve worn off by now. I’m scared that he might have trapped the Naruto we all know and love up in his mind, and he might never return to normal. Not because he can’t, because he doesn’t want to. He‘s scared.” Kakashi stared at her, waiting for her to go on. If he was surprised, Tsunade couldn’t tell.

“I’m sending him to stay with Sasuke for time being…hopefully the boy can reach a part of him I can’t.” She sighed, looking down at her hands. She was terrified that the sweet blonde she knew all too well wouldn’t wake up. She felt her self start to tremble and instead bit down hard on her lip, doing her best not to cry.

“I’ll check up on them, but, Tsunade-sama…the counsel, they were talking about the seal and how they were going to deal with it. Just let me warn you, they aren’t in the least bit concerned about Naruto-kun’s welfare.” With that the silver-haired jounin was off, nothing but a puff of smoke in his place.

“The kyuubi must be dwelt with before it’s to late. The seal must be replaced. There have been many new seals created since the death of the fourth, and the one which we chose should work excellently.” one of the more elderly men said, sitting calmly before the blonde. Tsunade gripped her fist so tights that trickles of blood ran down her wrists.

“Excellent? Naruto could be killed in the process and you think it’s excellent!? I will not have this! I will not let you harm that boy!!”

“Tsunade-san, you have no choice in the matter. It is the counsel’s decision for the best of Konoha, and I’m afraid we will have to overrule your word. There is nothing you can do to stop us.” Tsunade looked up at him wide-eyed. There was nothing she could do? She was Hokage, damnit! She would beat it into them if she had to!

“I believe it’s best if you go rest Tsunade-sama, the counsel has made their decision. The boy will be brought to us tomorrow-”

“No..”

“What, Tsunade-san, we’ve been over this-”

“Not tomorrow…he hasn’t woken up from a recent injury yet. Let him fully heal…then…you can attempt to reseal the kyuubi. But at least give him a week…” Tsunade swallowed the lump in her throat, then lifted her head to look at the men. “…please.”

The counsel exchanged looks before turning back to the woman. The more elderly of the group stepped forward.

“Three days from now you will bring him to us, that should be plenty enough time for the kyuubi boy to heal his wounds.” With that he dismissed the blonde. She stared at him before lowering her head again and leaving. The minute she was out the door she no longer held back the tears that had been threatening to fall.
