Disclaimer~Nope still do NOT own them, but wish I did. Ok I ranted earlier and I got it all out. I had planned on making a part two to this fic and trying for a more happier ending, regardless of my day. I just couldn't stand anyone else specially my Ruka, having a bad day. So here is part two. I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO WISHED ME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME, TY TY TY. And OMG Wolf you had me blushing like a school girl you naughty boy you lol, ty that made my day. Huggles and smiles Mija..:-)...BTW this won't be very long at all, its just to tie a few things up and make the first part a bit cheerier, hopefully.

Part Two

~~~Iruka was tired. Mentally and physically. There was just something about being depressed that made your body feel tired as well. As expected, his classes were filled with wild lethal little ninja wannabe's, and not one remembered his birthday. That was ok though, he hadn't really expected it from them. They were children. But being in the mood he was in, made the day seem like it would drag on forever. Once class was over, he went to Icharaku (sp?) and grabbed some ramen. He was greeted with waves and hello's from people he knew or knew him through the school. But again they were just the regular everyday hello's again. Although he had hoped to hear, "oh by the way Iruka heard it was your birthday, happy birthday, have a good one" Or something along those lines, he didn't and really shouldn't have hoped.

~~~After pretty much choking down his meal, since his stomache felt a bit wieghed down, he dragged his tired but home. He had a shift at the mission room later that evening, but he had a few hours to kill till then. He looked around his house. It was clean, he looked into the fridge and contemplated what to make for dinner but he really was not in the mood for food now or later, so he nixed that idea. He looked through his book shelf for a book to read, but he wasn't in the mood for that either. He looked at his satchel of paper work, the homework he needed to finish grading, but frankly the thought of doing that right now just made him want to grab a brick and beat himself senseless with it. He thought of doing something special for himself. A nice soak in the hot springs. Some of his favorite chocolates from his favorite candy store. Maybe a new outfit, some new weapons to replace some of the old ones. But as he thought of it, it was just even more depressing. It was like he was so unloved that he had to buy his own birthday gift to make him feel better. The thought alone made him feel worse. So he did the only thing he really wanted to do at that moment, he went to sleep.

~~~When he woke up he felt a bit better. Still a bit sad, but better overall. He couldn't wait for this day to be over with. Once it was he would go on and forget about it till next year rolled around and started the whole process over again. So he got dressed, and headed to the mission room to start his shift. Oddly enough along the way to the mission room, he found himself delayed. An old woman was looking up into a tall tree, calling out snookum's. When she saw Iruka approaching she turned her big blue-green eyes at him and implored him to help her get her kitty cat out of the tree. Now Iruka was never one to say no to anyone, let alone an elderly woman. So being the ninja he was, he jumped into the tree without much fuss and grabbed the brownish cat off the limb it seemed to just be sitting in. It didn't look stuck or affraid, just aloof. If Iruka hadn't known better he could of sworn the cat rolled its eyes at him when he grabbed him and scolded him for being a bad kitty and making its sweet mistress fret. Once he got the cat, he put it into the old woman's arms and smiled as she cuddled the cat to her chest and rubbed her withered face along its furry head.

"Oh you bad bad kitty..you scared momma snookum's, don't you ever do that again ok sweetie?" cooed the old woman, and again Iruka could swear he saw the cat roll its eyes. The the woman turned to him.

"Oh thank you young man, I don't know what I would of done if you hadn't come along." She thanked him with a big toothless smile and Iruka blushed. He always felt good when he did something for someone else.

"It was my pleasure to assist you mother( a term of indearment and respect for an older woman)" Iruka replied with the same old blush as he bowed to her.

"I must go now mother, my shift starts soon."

"Oh bless you dear, thank you again...thank the nice man snookum's" the old woman said as she grabbed her cats paw and waved it at Iruka, to imply that the cat itself was waving. Before Iruka left, he did a double take, almost certain for sure the cat rolled its eyes and even snorted.

~~~Iruka rushed off, knowing he would be late, but could not have helped it even if he wanted to. Iruka took pleasure in helping when ever he was needed and that feeling was stronger when it was a child, woman or elderly person.

~~~As Iruka ran off and the elderly woman could no longer see him, the cat in her arms poofed into smoke and changed back into its original form. It looked up at its master and growled.

"You soo oh me for this one you asswipe." came the voice of the angry pug in his masters arms. Its master poofed as well and in the old woman's place stood, the silver haired copy nin, a grining eye looking down at his nin dog.

"Theres a big fat steak on the bottom shelf of the fridge Pakkun, thanks for helping me delay Iruka for a bit longer." Kakashi replied, as he set his faithful summons down and watched him trot off.

"Ever tell anyone about me hengeing (sp?) into a cat and I will bit your balls off boy." came Pakkun's warning before he trotted off to fetch his well earned reward. Kakashi just chuckled as he did some hand seals and puffed out in a transportation jutsu. He arrived a few seconds later at the mission room, ahead of Iruka.

"He's coming." He stated as he looked around the room. There gathered around were Team 7, himself, Genma, Raidua (sp?) Kotetsu, Izuma, Asuma, Kurenai, Gai, Anko and the fifth Hokage herself, along with Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji and team Gai. Kakashi had been planning this with his teams help for two months now. He wanted this day to be perfect for his Dolphin. So he had faked his two week mission, with the help of the Godaime of course and had spent the majority of the day yesterday and that very morning trying to gather all the things they would need for Iruka's surprise party. He had to be carefull as not to let Iruka or others know he was about as not to ruin the surprise. He really hoped his Koi liked it. He knew how depressed his love got on his birthdays and he swore he would make it special for him. Of course the better parts would occur when they were alone together back at Iruka's. He had a nice imported bottle of good Sake chilling as he spoke. Some strawberry's getting nice and cool in a bowl of ice, with fresh cream, and a huge box of Iruka's most favortie and expensive chocolates that they would share together, as they took a nice long bubble bath together in a candlelit bathroom, which was being set up at this very moment by a friend of his, as well as the bedroom being striped and remade with red satin sheets, rose petals on the bed, more candles, and some sheer curtains draped from the ceiling falling all around the bed so that when they made love they would be cocooned in thier own little haven.

~~~As Iruka got to the door of the mission room he noticed it was closed. This made him frown. It never closed when the mission desk was still open, but shrugging it off he opened the door and was very bothered by what he saw, or didn't see. The lights to the office were off. Reaching in and keeping his senses on alert he flicked the swith on and before his eyes could adjust he was almost defeaned by the sound of SURPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY IRUKA SENSEI!! Iruka looked around and saw everyone he considered close to him there, event he fifth Hokage. He was glomped by a very happy and energetic Naruto who seemed to hug the life out of him as he babbled on about how they had suprised him, the look on his face and all the things they had done to keep it a secret. By this time Iruka saw the others and his eyes landed on Kakashi. Iruka wanted to hug the jounin and bury his face in his vest and never let him go. The gleam in Kakashi's eyes only made everything sweeter, it was a promise of more things to come later, and Iruka shivered at the lucious thoughts that flooded his mind of what his lover would do to him come bedtime.

~~~Iruka was still in shock by the time he and Kakashi got to his place. Both his and Kakashi's arms were loaded with food and presents. His hand patted the pocket of his vest where the gift Naruto had given him. It was a necklace hand made with diffrent shiny stones from the Wave Country. Naruto said he had smoothed and polished each stone himself till they gleamed and were like glass in his hands. It was a beautiful necklace and made more special since it had been made by the hands of one of his most precious people. When he got home he was tired but so happy he could burt with joy. He instanly dropped his bags on the floor, grabbed Kakashi by the vest and yanked him into a very long and very passionate kiss. Kakashi did not protest it and even furthered it. Before Iruka knew it, he was being backed into his bedroom, and when he broke the kiss off, his eyes grew wide as the room glowed in a dreamy sort of light, as the candles all over the place cast its soft glow upon the red satin and rosepetal covered bed. Iruka was speechless.

"Happy Birthday koi...I hope you enjoyed your surprise party." husked Kakashi in his ear. His velvety voice sent shivers down Iruka's spine and his lower belly seemed to boil with fire.

"Thank you Kakashi...thank you for the best day of my life." Iruka replied, hoping his voice did not crack. His emotions were shot. His whole day had been a huge roller coaster of feelings and emotions. He felt drained yet still excited and energetic. Kakashi wasted no time, he grabbed his dolphin into his arms and led him to the bathroom and went about to do all the things he had planned out for his lover.

~~~That night sated and sweaty, cuddled up in the arms of the man he loved Iruka felt like flying. He couldn't believe the day he had. Ok the day had sucked, but it had only been a ruse to the main event. He had spent his birthday as he had always wished and hoped for. Hell it was even better than some of the things he had hoped and wished for. He had wonderful friends, family like Naruto and the rest of the rookie nine, and an incrediable lover he loved with all his heart. Iruka thought if he died, he would die a very very happy man. Before he drifted off to sleep a smile crept to his face as he heard the voice of his lover and his promise.

"I promise to make everyday the best day of your life koi...or die trying...happy birthday my Iruka." Kakashi whispered in the dark and held onto Iruka tighter. Ya, it was most defenitly the best day of his life.

A/N~Okies I hope this was a bit better, sorry I didn't add the lemon but oddly enough I was not in the mood to write one, sowwy guys. But just so you guys know..I had a wonderful birthday today. Yes I was sad pretty much all day, then I went to my tuesday classes with my mom, and when the class was over the whole room sang happy birthday to me, and I turned redder than a tomato, then when my mom drove me home, she oddly enough stalled by stopping at her house first, saying she forgot to get the movies my sis rented and wanted to let me use, which was true, but when we got to my house, my son and my sister, niece and friends were all there with a huge bar b que going on and they all yelled Happy Birthday when I got out of the car and my son gave me a gigantic hug and told me he loved me, I melted and wanted to cry of course. I had mentioned to my son on his birthday in May that for my birthday I wanted a fat juicy steak all to myself..so guess what he made me and only me??? lol, yup a huge steak as big as the plate..lol..and a huge cake that read Happy Birthday Mom I love you. I did cry then. My mom knew all about this when she picked me up for class to begin with, she was supposed to keep me occupied and not say a word while my son and everyone got the bar b que together and ready for when I got back, the whole stalling thing was so that my mom could call my son while I was still in the car to tell him we were on the way. So yes, I had a wonderful day, all my hopes and wishes came true. My son had it planned since last night...little meanie made me stew in my own self pity so I would be surprised. Love that kid.
