Part 2
PART 2
Sakuya sat n the stoop of her home, casually talking to Shen over tea.
Shino walked up, hands in pockets, “I’m sorry to interrupt, but have you seen my father or mother recently?”
“No, I haven’t,” She replied, “Last time I saw them was when they got back from their mission two evenings ago.”
“So not for 48 hours?”
“…Why? Have you not seen them?” Shen looked at him with some worry, his round sunglasses the same in appearance as the ones Shino used to wear, except for their slightly bent arms. His face was hidden by his very long, wrapped around scarf, serving the same function of a high collar.
“No, I figured they must have gone out before I got up, or after, I left for training, and didn’t come back. So I was wondering if you saw them around.”
They shook their heads.
Shino adjusted his glasses, “Strange…”
“Have you checked the house?”
“I have not SEEN them, how could they be there?”
“Never hurts to check,” Sakuya sipped her tea.
They followed him inside. Sakuya instantly struck a glance at the upstairs, seeing their bedroom door closed (Yes, she knows which room is their bedroom), “This may seem like a stupid question, but have you checked their room?”
“The door is closed. I never go in there when it’s closed.” He replied.
Shen raised an eyebrow. Sakuya tried not to laugh.
“Shino, if it’s closed that means they’re in there right?”
“Not always,”
“…”
“Why…don’t you knock?”
“I’d rather not.”
“…”
Well, Shibi wasn’t kidding when he said his kid had a sense of humor, a sense of humor with an amazing poker face... “Alright…” Sakuya nodded slowly.
Shen cracked a light, nervous smile, “Why don’t I…just knock…or…?” He was already making his way up the stairs.
With both Shino and Sakuya looking over his shoulder, Shen gently placed his ear against the door, and listened.
…
He straightened back up, and gave a look at Sakuya that to your average onlooker would mean absolutely nothing, but to an Aburame it was easily readable through the sunglasses and high collar (well…..scarf).
She covered her mouth and ran downstairs, then burst out laughing.
Shino blinked, following her with his head, before looking back to Shen, “They’re…still in there…?”
He nodded.
Sakuya’s laughing could be heard still coming from downstairs.
…
…
“So WHY did you call me again?” Tsunade asked to the high-collared ninja in front of her, as they stood in Shino’s living room.
“Tsunade-sama, we think there is something seriously the matter with my mother and father,” Shino said calmly.
“What do you mean?”
“They have been in their room for over 48 hours,”
She tilted her head.
“Please, can you, check to make sure?” Shen said to her.
Sakuya laughed in her throat.
Shen elbowed her.
“Ow…!”
…
“…O…kay…” The female Hokage said with a confused look.
They followed behind her up the stairs as if expecting a ghost to pop out at any second, and hiding behind her would somehow protect them from it. Tsunade paused at the door, giving a glace back to the three pairs of sunglasses starring at her with anticipation. She raised her hand, and knocked.
Knock, knock
…
No answer.
She gave an annoyed look.
KNOCK, KNOCK
…
No answer.
She gripped the doorknob and opened the door, ripping its lock right out of the wall with the monsteress strength that she was well known for. As the female Hokage looked into the room, she blinked and stopped dead in her tracks
“Shibi and Kaho–dono!” She bellowed with the kind of authoritative voice only a Hokage can have.
It would be an understatement to say the two Aburame’s were in a compromising position. Upon hearing their Hokage’s yell they mildly snapped out of their daze, and paused. The buzzing kikaichu insects, that were pretty much everywhere, stopped in their tracks.
“T…Tsunade-sama?” Both said in unison, before scrambling to pull up some of the bed’s sheets over them (which wasn’t easy because it was in extreme disarray and mostly on the floor).
“You…” she paused, breathing, and putting a hand to her temples, “…get dressed, and come downstairs at once!” She turned and walked out, closing the door partway behind her, but unable close it completely…because she had mostly broken it.
Like scolded puppies, Shibi’s and Kaho’s kikaichu slunk to them and burrowed back under their skin. The insects they had returning to them were not all their own; even the kikai themselves had lost track of their own chakra signature over the past 2 days.
Tsunade sat down at the kitchen table. Shino, Shen, and Sakuya all coming up alongside her. Shino tilted his head, “Were they…alright?”
She laughed lightly and smirked, “Yes, they were fine…basically.”
Shibi and Kaho came downstairs, hair mussed and clothes hastily put on. Shibi held the strap of his round gourd in his hand, so that it was slung over his shoulder (but not strapped to him). They sat across the table from Tsunade, who clasped her hands together. They looked both guilty and embarrassed; too much so to speak first. They also realized how hungry and thirsty they were…having not eaten or drank anything for two days.
“Now, you two, what is going on?” She squinted, “This is not…normal behavior I’m guessing?”
“Depends on your definition of normal…” Sakuya said under her breath.
Shen turned and thwacked her with the large, pear shaped gourd that was strapped to his back.
“Ow!”
If only people knew what really went on in this ‘quiet and reserved’ clan…Tsunade thought with a raising of an eyebrow.
Shino brought over a glass of water for each of them, which they quickly drank.
Tsunade sighed, and closed her eyes to think for a moment. She considered, “Do you think that one of your enemies has affected you two with some kind of…genjutsu or drug- ……..” She stopped and blinked.
The two were deeply making out, having not moved from their seats.
“SHIBI and KAHO – DONO!!” she bellowed.
They startled and pulled away form one another.
“It has to be some kind of drug,” Shino said, slightly nervously.
Shibi looked at Kaho…and then finally spoke up, “Hokage-sama, I don’t know when anyone could have poisoned up. We had been traveling for almost three days.”
It was hard for him to concentrate. The kikai inside him had gone back to their excited buzzing. Those that were not his own, IE his wife’s, becoming even more ‘drunk’ off his chakra now that they were inside him surrounded by it. He put up a hand and clenched onto his jacket’s opposite shoulder.
Kaho was having similar troubles…to try and distract herself she worked on snapping up the front of her long coat.
“Think, was there anything, unusual that happened on the way home or during the mission? Any suspicious food, drink…?”
“N…no.”
Kaho shook her head.
Tsunade sat back in her chair, “I know your clan pretty well, but not completely. I hate to ask,” she blushed a little, leaning forward again, “but destruction bugs don’t go into….heat or anything do they?”
The two Aburame’s paused, then Shibi spoke up, “No, they don’t…but…now that you mention it…”
“They have been acting like it…if they did such a thing.” Kaho added.
“It’s not just us who have been…” he trailed off.
The three Aburame’s behind Tsunade all shifted their glances to other places in the room.
It was then that she got an idea, “You went through the…Grass country on your mission? Am I correct?”
They nodded.
“Did you go through any, fruit orchids?”
A pause; they slowly nodded again.
Tsunade smirked and leaned back, “I think I may know what happened; no one tried to poison you…”
“What is it, Hokage-sama?” Shino said; eagerness in his voice.
“You must have passed through a Grass-country orchid during the one day of the year they spray their valley for insects, but not to kill them. In recent decades the fruit orchids had been having less and less fruit in their crops; this is because there were not enough insects to pollinate their flowers of their trees to MAKE the fruit. They were losing a lot of money, so…to fix the problem, I heard that they now spray their orchids yearly with…an insect ‘love potion’ of sorts, putting them into a breeding frenzy to insure that the next year there will be plenty of bugs to pollinate their trees.”
She had closed her eyes in the middle of her long explanation, and when she looked back, “You see this is what must hav - ” She stopped.
Shibi was busy unsnapping Kaho’s jacket (That she had just finished closing). He had already done so to her pants, which is where is other had had vanished into. Kaho was arched back against her chair, looking quite happy to have him doing do.
HOW do I keep not NOTICING that?! She was sick of yelling their names so she stood up and brought down one finger onto the table, causing it to snap in two.
They jolted out of it again, this time falling into the floor.
Our table…Shino thought sadly.
Oh my…Shen thought.
Where is my camera…? Sakuya mused.
“Are you two paying attention?!” Tsunade roared.
“Y…yes…I heard…” Shibi said as he helped Kaho up.
“It makes sense,” Kaho recalled, “We did pass through one valley that smelled … sweet.”
“It took over 24 hours to fully take effect, so we must not have noticed.”
Tsuande nodded.
“Is there…a cure for it?”
“A medical nin…umm…” she thought of the million insects buzzing about under their skin, “No, a team of medical nin would have to perform a poison removal, but to get it out of all your insects, that would make it a…complicated and lengthy task.”
“It’s not an option…?”
“I…don’t think so. It really wouldn’t be worth the trouble.”
“…”
“The effects should wear off in a few days anyway. I’ll keep you off missions and you can just rest and stay at home.”
Rest? Sakuya thought, that’s not what they’ll be doing.
Shibi looked at the ground with a defeated look, “Ah, thank you Tsunade-sama.”
Kaho blushed, and nodded.
The Fifth stood up, “Well, I have a lot of work to do…and there is nothing more I can do here, so I’ll be going.”
“Thank you for coming, Hokage-sama,” Shino bowed and showed her out.
“Well, plenty of bed rest for you two,” Sakuya spoke up.
“If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask,” Shen said, “I could even bring over some of a special tea blend I made that quiets down kikaichu,”
“Thanks Shen-san, if you think it may help…that would be fine,” Kaho attempted to smile.
Shibi squinted from behind his sunglasses, his glasses dangle hitting his face as he tilted his head deeper into his collar. They nodded goodbye to Shen and Sakuya as they walked out.
Shino walked back up, “Father, mother, you should eat something…” as he was looking at the wrecked kitchen table, “But you’ll have to eat it on the couch.”
“Thank you Shino,” He said weakly.
“Anything will do,” Kaho said as she walked into the living room and flopped down on the couch.
Shibi went to follow her, but he felt a hand on his coat’s sleeve, holding him back.
“Father, I think it’s best for you two to be separated,”
“…S…seprated?”
“If you’re to make it to eating something. I saw what happened when you were talking to Tsunade-sama, you have no control right now.” His calm, collected voice said.
Shibi was usually as collected as his son, but with a million aroused insects inside of you, it’s a kind of hard to think straight.
He grasped his son by the shoulders, who could clearly hear the humming coming from inside his jacket, “You don’t know what it’s like…” He said in a low and quiet voice.
Shino didn’t waver. He knew he had to try and keep some kind of sanity in this situation, even though it pained him to rebel against his father, whom he respected so much. It was for his own good. And one pair of opaque sunglasses starring into another was even more useless than Naruto attempting to stare him down, “I don’t…that’s true. But you can be the strong man I know you are and try to fight against it.”
Shibi’s face fell. His son was right. What kind of clan leader was he…
“I know you have trouble controlling your kikaichu when your emotions become too fevered, but try,” Shino pulled him over to the stove.
…
Kaho lay on the couch looking at the ceiling, having heard all of their conversation. She was attempting to ignore the aroused chills that were running all through her, and the fact that her panties were already wet again (even though she had just put on new ones). Come on Kaho…you can fight it too…It’s just a drug…and Tsunade said it will only last for a few more days…
…YOUR MATE…GO TO HIM…
She shuttered, her breath escaping from her lungs. A chill shooting through her more severely. She ran her hands down her body and along her legs. N…no…I…
Her kikaichu buzzed, making a cicada-like churr,
…YESSsss, WE KNOW YOU WANT IT…
…DENY NOTHING…
…INSIDE YOU…
…AROUND YOU…
…TOUCHING YOU…
> “Stop it!” < She bellowed silently in insect language, > “You WILL listen to your master!” <
…WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING…IT…US?
…WE…YOU NEED…
…PLEASE…
She clenched her teeth, I…can fight this… She found however that she was making small sexual noises, and that her hand was down her pants and inside her underwear…
…
Shino was taking a pot of rice off the stove, and looked over at his father, who was leaning back on the counter, his fingers tightly clamped onto its edge. A bowl of salad behind him that he was only half-finished with making.
“Father?”
He looked up quickly, “Yes?”
“You….okay?”
He pulled up his hands, which were twitching slightly, and put them in his pockets, “As much as I can be right now …”
“Is it…that hard to fight against?”
His breath trembled, “Me and my kikaichu have been through a lot….but…this is… maddening.”
Shino thought for a moment, “I might know how you feel, a little. While on a mission to a small village, where Naruto-kun and I were to act as funeral security…I was drugged with a laughing potion. My kikaichu were unable to break it down, and were affected by it the same as I was. Having the thousands of them all laughing inside of me made it impossible to keep a straight face for over 24 hours. I laughed uncontrollably… despite my best efforts to fight it.” He portioned out the rice into bowls as he talked.
“You never told me about that,” his son’s story distracting him for a moment from the arousal shooting through him.
“I was…embarrassed about it. I didn’t like being out of control.”
“I’d think that Naruto would have told everyone,” Shibi smirked.
“I have a talent for scaring him…he seems to be uncomfortable with me. I just have to look at him, and he becomes uneasy. So I threatened him, and it kept him quiet.”
“My son alright,” he looked up at the ceiling.
Just then, quite obviously, Kaho could be heard from the living room. And it was not her asking if dinner was ready.
Shibi’s eye twitched.
Before Shino could grab him again, he was already gone.
