Extended Ending
Kiba made it home around five just as the sun was starting to lighten up the sky and he was surprised to find Akamaru asleep near the front door waiting for him to come home, as soon as they door shut the little white dog woke with a start looking up at Kiba before he even managed to focus on him properly. "Hey Akamaru. You didn't stay out here all night did you?"
"Arph."
The teenager leaned down picking the pup up effortlessly before heading upstairs. "The bed's much more comfortable buddy." Akamaru growled softly then and Kiba smiled. "You were worried? Of me?" "Arp."
"No? Then of who?"
Growling answered Kiba again as he opened his bedroom door shutting and locking it behind him, he was pretty sure his ma already knew he was home so she wouldn't bother him until he woke up later which was good. "Whoever I came across. Guess that was Shino."
Akamaru's ears perked up as Kiba changed into a loose pair of sleeping pants and he scratched the dog behind the ears flashing him a smile. "Don't worry Aka, Shino's fine. A little sore but fine."
He laid down and snuggled comfortably into his blankets as Akamaru found his spot at the foot of their bed and curled up barking once at Kiba who smiled already half asleep. "Yeah. I alright too."
