School
3 YEARS LATER
Naruto quietly opened his door, and shut it. He had to go brush his teeth, and wash up before going to school. He was really nervous, it was his first day in kindergarten, but he had to get up extra early to get ready so he didn’t get in Taku’s way.
Besides it gave him a head start to school without any complications. He sighed remembering what happened a few days ago.
Flashback
3 days ago
Naruto was really excited to go to school. He was thinking of being all big and bad climbing out of his mom’s/dad’s car. He giggled excitedly.
Taku went to preschool, and kindergarten, now in first grade (he started earlier).
He found his mom in the kitchen, walked up to her timidly and ask
“What time do you want me ready for school?”
She turned to him and laughed
“Why, you don’t think I’m going to drive a dirty mutt like you, ha!”
Naruto’s lip trembled
“But why?”
“Like I said I don’t want your idiocy to rub off on precious Taku, he might catch what you have.”
“But I’m not sick”
“Not physically, mentally”
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t have to explain myself to a Five year old”
“Six”
“What?”
“I’m six years old”
“Who cares, because I sure don’t.”
By the end of the conversation, she was screaming at him, he being only six started to shake and back away.
“Sorry, sorry, I’m sorry” He muttered.
End Flashback
Naruto didn’t know how long it would take him to walk to school, so he’d find out today. He went to the kitchen sink and started cleaning up, he went to his room, which was still the walk in closet, and changed his sleeping clothes to his everyday clothes. He was all ready set, and on his way. He heard stomping coming down the stairs, and hid in his room. “Taku, sorry I shouldn’t have disturbed you, forgive me.” Naruto muttered to himself.
He learned early on that if he was in his big brother’s way, he would get mowed down by his big brother. Naruto slid into the kitchen and snagged an apple, put it in his pocket and left his house.
Naruto had been thinking about his first day of school, ‘Are there people my age? Am I gunna make friends? Am I gunna sit with anyone at lunch? Is anyone gunna like me?’ He had all these questions and only through time today would he know.
A couple minutes into his walk it started to sprinkle, but soon it was pouring, “Great”. Then a car came flying by, “hey, it’s mom” and a HUGE splash came his way. “AHHHHHHHHH…!”
AT SCHOOL
He got to school just as the bell rung. ‘Oh no I’m going to be late’. He looked on a class list to see which class he was in, not too far. So he went and knocked on the door, and a teacher with silver hair came to the door, “Yes?”
“Sorry I’m late, it’s raining.”
“I can see that, come in and take a seat.”
Naruto walked in shoes squeaking. He sat next to a boy with black hair and black eyes. He turned “Hi, my name’s Naruto Uzumaki. What’s you name?” The guy didn’t even say anything, Naruto pouted, ‘fine’.
“Well class, my name’s Kakashi Hatake, and I’ll be your kindergarten teacher. I want to get to know all of you, please stand say your name, and favorite hobby”
It went around the class, this really cute pink haired girl stood up, and “My names Sakura and my favorite hobby is hanging out with my best friend Ino.”
‘She’s really pretty’
It came to Naruto “My name’s Naruto Uzumaki and my favorite hobby is……playing with my friend.”
Taku stood up ‘Oh no, he’s in my class’ “You liar, you don’t have any friends.”
Naruto blushed and sat down, “Taku sit down”
Then it came to the guy next to Naruto, “My name’s Sasuke Uchiha and my favorite hobby is being with my big brother Itachi.” He sat down, and turned to Naruto, “you can’t sit with me tomorrow because you’re a loser.”
Naruto’s eyes widened, “w-what? I haven’t even talked to you, how would you know?”
Sasuke didn’t answer him. The school day didn’t start off great for Naruto, but he was looking forward to lunch, maybe he could sit next to that pretty girl.
At lunch, Naruto came up to Sakura and Ino, and asked if he could sit with them, the shook their heads, “Oh, ok sorry to bother you.” He then went to sit at a lonely looking table; he took out his apple, and started chewing on it.
Taku and Sasuke were getting along great; they liked each other and thought the same about Naruto. “Isn’t he a loser?” The table agreed, the table consisted of Taku, Sasuke, Ino, Sakura, Shikamaru, Kiba, Choji, Neji, and Hinata. Everyone started laughing except Hinata because she didn’t think anything was wrong with him, “I don’t see why he’s a loser.” Everyone turned to her, “Well if you like him so much, go sit with him.” Hinata turned to look at Naruto, she saw him nibbling on his apples in the corner of the cafeteria. She sighed “just kidding” She didn’t want to be lonely.
“Aren’t you ashamed of being his brother?” asked Kiba
“Yeah, but I’ve gotten over it. Hey do you think we should play a prank on him?”
Everyone nodded their head and huddled together.
Back in class, Naruto took his seat sitting next to Sasuke. Sasuke smirked, “hey do you wanna come over today?”
Naruto’s eyes widened, ‘me?’
“Really? I’m not a loser anymore?”
Sasuke nodded, “After your brother told me how cool you were, I thought it would be a good chance to get to know you”
Naruto nodded vigorously.
“We can meet after school, at the front doors.”
“Alright”
Naruto went through the whole day with a smile, imagining how things would be at Sasuke’s house, what kinds of toys he had, and such things.
AFTER SCHOOL
Naruto waited by the doors for Sasuke to arrive.
He waited and he waited, but no Sasuke.
It was getting dark out, Naruto sighed and turned to walk away when a car came pulling up, the back window rolled down, and it was “Sasuke, where were you?”
“I waited by the other doors, but you never showed, so I had to leave. Sorry you couldn’t come over today, maybe tomorrow.”
Naruto heard a voice beside Sasuke and out popped Taku, “Ha we got you good!!! You would’ve waited till tomorrow for me.”
“Sasuke would never be your friend, what were you thinking?”
Naruto smiled sadly, “Oh yeah, you got me good. I got to go.” Tears started to roll down his face, and he ran home as fast as he could. He ran to his room, and collapsed on his bed. “Stupid Naruto, couldn’t have made friends with Taku’s friends, they’ll always like him more.”
Back at the car
Sasuke’s father sighed; he didn’t like the look of the kid outside the car. Uchiha’s didn’t associate with dirty mutts such as him. Sasuke had a good judge of character. “Sasuke, don’t ever talk to that boy ever again.”
The boys laughed harder, “don’t worry I wont”
They drove off, Taku was going to a sleepover at Sasuke’s.
