Untrusting

A/N – I read your reviews and I’m very happy. In answer to Bookworm’s review for the rape, all I have to say is – Don’t worry. It’s all a part of my plot. ^_^

I’m sorry it took so long! I had piano exams and math exams and the homework is killing me!

About the chapter – Naruto tells Tsunade what happens. Not much going on in this chapter. If you want to skip this then it’s fine with me. Just no flames. Please.

Chapter two – The Problems unsolved


Tsunade groaned. “Shizune…where’s the Kazekage’s form? I can’t find it…” She flipped through thousands pages of paperwork. “It’s not hereee.” The blond woman said, drawling out her words. Shizune came into the room. “There was no form for the Kazekage, Hokage-sama. You must be working too hard.” Tsunade rubbed her temples. “Yeah I guess so…” said the Hokage, agreeing.

Just then, a loud knocking was heard. Shizune went to go open it. As she opened the door, there stood Naruto, looking miserable. “What do you want brat?” Tsunade asked curiously. It wasn’t like Naruto to be so sad. Or to knock. Usually he would just open the door screaming ‘Tsunade-baachan!’ But then…this time…was different.

“So, Naruto…you gonna tell me why you’re here or are you just going to stand there all day?” The Hokage asked impatiently. The blond boy started to fidget with the hem of his shirt. He opened his mouth to say something, and then he closed it again. Tsunade raised her brow in confusion. ‘Naruto’s depressing. And he’s fidgeting! He never fidgets! There’s something wrong here. And I’m not liking how this is going…!’ Tsunade felt her temper rise. Who would make her little Naruto this upset?

The blond woman tapped her finger on her chin, thinking of the best thing to do. ‘Naruto doesn’t look like he’s going to say anything’ Tsunade mused ‘…I’ll have to take matters into my own hands.’

Tsunade sighed. “Shizune, I would like to talk to Naruto alone. Would you please leave?” She asked politely. “Sure Hokage sama. Shout if you need me.” Shizune bowed and she left the room.

Tsunade turned to Naruto. The blond boy lowered his gaze. “Naruto, have a seat.” She said. The demon carrier hesitated, but reluctantly sat down.

‘Now, how can I start this off…?’ Tsunade thought. “Naruto, why don’t you tell me what’s wrong?” Tsunade started. Naruto looked didn’t look like he was going to say anything. ‘Maybe Sakura said something mean to him?’ The Hokage guessed. ‘No, that can’t be it…Sakura is always mean to Naruto. This time can’t be any different…

While Tsunade sat in her chair pondering what happened to him, Naruto had still not said a word.

-In Naruto’s Mind-

‘What am I supposed to say to her?!? Tsunade I got raped and now Kyuubi says that I might get pregnant? Right. I can just imagine how well that would go. This is harder than I expected…’ Naruto inwardly groaned. ‘You have to tell her sometime…it’s now or never Naruto.’ Kyuubi stated.

‘But how am I supposed to explain what happened if I hardly knew what happened myself?’ Naruto complained. ‘That, is your problem kit. Not mine.’ Kyuubi said.

Naruto wanted to tear his hair out at that very moment.

-Back to the real world-

Tsunade wanted to tear her hair out. ‘Ok, this leaves me no choice. Ibiki taught me a few things about mind manipulating. Time to see if this will work.’ The hokage confirmed in her mind. “Naruto, I know what happened. So why don’t you tell me what you want from me?” Tsunade said, desperately hoping that it would work. The Kyuubi holder’s eyes widened. “You know?” He squeaked. The blonde woman nodded slowly. ‘Yes! He’s going to tell me! It worked!’ Tsunade cheered in her mind.

Naruto spoke again. “You know that…someone…raped me?” Naruto whispered. Tsunade stared at Naruto in shock. Her hands came crashing down on her desk. “What?!?” She shouted. Shizune came rushing into the room. “I heard a shout! Do you need anything Hokage sama?” The black haired girl asked. “No. Shizune san. Leave. Now.” Tsunade said clenching her teeth. Shizune left in a hurry.

The blond haired boy was confused. “Why are you so angry? I thought you knew…” Naruto’s voice trailed off. “Who did it? Tell me Naruto, and they shall be severely punished!” Tsunade yelled, murderous thoughts flooding her mind. Naruto fidgeted again. “Um…that’s sort of the problem…I don’t exactly know who did it…” Naruto’s voice lowered to a whisper once more. The demon carrier sighed and ran a hand through his blond locks. “And…Kyuubi says that I might…get…pregnant.” He added softly.

The hokage stared at him, her mouth gaping. Her blue eyes rolled to the back of her head and she ungracefully, hit the floor. “SHIZUNE!!! TSUNADE FAINTED!” Naruto hollered. The black haired women came running in. “Kami-sama…” She murmured. The medic Nin walked over to Tsunade and hoisted her back into her chair. Naruto tried to help and took a glass of water. He poured it all over her head.

Tsunade recovered, spluttering. “S-Shizune? What are you doing here? What just happened?” The blonde woman mumbled. “You fainted.” Naruto said a matter-of-factly.

Tsunade sat still as the memories of their conversation came flooding back to her. “Oh yeah…So Naruto, does Kyuubi know that if you are going to have a baby or not?” She asked. Shizune whipped her head around. “What? You’re going to have a baby?” She asked, clearly confused. After seeing the pained look on Naruto’s face she added, “Congratulations?” She said cautiously. Naruto looked even more upset than before.

“No…she(1) said that she would tell me tomorrow.” Naruto replied. “I see. Well then Naruto, as soon as you get the news tell me okay? There’s nothing I can do for you until I know whether the baby is going to be born or not.” The hokage said gently. The demon carrier nodded slowly. ‘I guess…” He said. Tsunade smiled faintly.

“Tsunade?” Naruto asked when he got to the front of the door. “Could you not tell anyone about this?” He asked. The hokage shook her head. “I’m sorry Naruto, but I can’t do that. If more people know that you’re pregnant, they’ll obviously try to get away from the village. So anyone that wants to leave the village will be under suspicion. We have to find out who did this.” Tsunade said. “I know how painful this will be for you. If anyone asks who the father will be, I’ll tell them that the Kyuubi doesn’t need a father to have a baby. Is that all right with you?” Tsunade asked. Naruto thought about it for a moment. “Okay then…as long as they didn’t know that I was…you know…” Naruto said. He walked out the door and shut it behind him.

Tsunade sagged in her chair. The door slammed open. Naruto came running in angrily. “What do you mean that I don’t need a ‘father’ to have a baby? Are you saying that I’m the mother?”
