Chapter 2

Naruto wasn't sure how long he'd been asleep this time but he had hoped that by the time he woke up the plane would be landing. He was so bored. He had hoped to entertain himself with the pretty, little lady in his row but she shot him down, point blank. Gathering what little of his pride he could, Naruto nursed his ego and assured himself he wasn't 'falling out the game'.

The food wasn't too bad, it was alot better than hospital food he could tell you that much and he wondered why it was that the meals in the place where you're supposed to get better tasted so awful, you never know if it could be your last meal, then again, you never know if an in-flight meal would be your last meal either.

Naruto said a little prayer.

The movies weren't too bad either and he found he actually liked 'Ten things I hate about you' although he'd never admit that to anyone, ever! He was grateful for the reprieve where passengers could get up and walk around. He had wanted to stretch his legs, he had also wanted to molest that cute stewardess from before but while she was game apparently her mother was also a stewardess on the flight and unless Naruto wanted to get food-poisoned he was to stay away from that woman's child. Damn, he couldn't get a break today.

Naruto looked lazily out his window and gazed at the landscape spread before him. He couldn't see much because of the cloud cover but he could make out cluttered buildings, patched acres of grass and traditional, oriental landmarks. He was probably flying over a city.

"Excuse me," he asked the tall, female brunette that walked by him. It was the sexy stewardess' mom. "Where are we now?"

She gave him a flat look as if she was trying to decipher some sexual innuendo he threw at her but after a few seconds she plainly stated they were now flying over Sand Country and as if reading his mind added that they will be arriving in Konoha in Leaf Country in about an hour.

Naruto thanked her with a nod and his most charming smile. "Thanks mum, I'll have to remember to treat you and your beautiful daughter to lunch sometime for all your kindness and hospitality." He was laying it on thick, but the older and more experienced woman was not to be fooled, she gave him a fake laugh before scowling immediately after and continuing her trek down the aisle.

An hour, an hour, what could Naruto do in an hour? He could think of lots of things he could do in an hour but they all required a female second party. He wondered if he should risk going after the sexy stewardess now. There weren't going to be any more meals served on the flight so it wasn't like her mother could taint his food or anything but she seemed like one of those 'mother hawk' type of parents that would hold a shotgun to his head and force him to marry her daughter if he so much as breathed on her neck. Was he really prepared to take that risk? In the immortal words of Stone Cold Steve Austin, 'Hell Yeah!', besides, what were the odds of him ever meeting the two ladies ever again.

Naruto was going to get up and go look for her but just at that moment the seat-belt sign flashed on and he groaned inwardly before reluctantly strapping himself back in. Just at that moment the 'mother hawk' (he wanted to call her 'Peggy') strolled back up the aisle and stopped right next to his row. She looked down at him and said ever so sweetly, "Make sure you're strapped in nice and tight there, sweetie. We wouldn't want you getting out of your chair anytime soon since we're nearing our destination."

"Well, could you check and make sure it's tight enough, luv?" he countered while gesturing to his crotch. "Or if it's too much trouble, maybe you could get your daughter to give you a hand," he drawled out the last word.

The woman's eyes flew open and her smile faded immediately to be replaced with a thin, hard line. She glared daggers at him before stomping off and muttering something about a corn-dog, no sorry, a horn-dog.

With any traces of sleep evaporated from the few naps he had prior, Naruto complacently watched the scenery and the occasional wisp of cloud crawl by his window.

Japan.

In a few hours he'll be starting over, a new home, a new school, new surroundings, a new life. This was what he wanted, this was what he needed, this is what he had dreamed about but why was he so scared? Even now the butterflies were making a repeat performance in his stomach from last night. Right now he wanted to unclasp his buckle, run to the front of the plane and demand the pilot he turn the damned airplane around, all other passengers be damned too. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and realized he was being childish. There was no reason to be nervous, sure things would be different, sure he couldn't speak the language very well, sure he was in a strange land with strange customs but at least he wouldn't be alone. He was going to be with Sasuke.

Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha, actually he should be calling him Uchiha Sasuke, that's how they said people's names in Japan apparently. Funny, Uchiha Sasuke actually sounded better than Sasuke Uchiha, well to him at least. Sasuke was Naruto's best friend and also his biggest rival. How was that possible? Naruto didn't even know himself but in a child-like way he liked to compare their relationship to the one between Sonic and Knuckles. Sasuke never liked the comparison as much as the blond did and Naruto couldn't see why not. They dissed each other and fought at every opportunity available always trying to compete over every little thing and trying to out-do each other in the most asinine of ways but they always knew they had each other's back. Naruto knew he could call on Sasuke and Susuke knew the same of Naruto.

They weren't like that at first though. At first they were always at each other's throats and there was one point, Naruto remembered clearly, where he hated Sasuke more than he hated his own life. Naruto didn't know when or how it happened but he found he was starting to gain the boy's respect. It was a little at first but then it reached a point where they actually enjoyed their little scuffles and the punches didn't hurt as much as they used to and then, one day, after a particularly long battle in the school yard Sasuke actually laughed. Naruto thought he was hyper ventilating from trying so hard to catch his breath but there was no mistaking the deep chuckle within the other boy's throat. Naruto thought he had snapped and was going to cap him right there and then but he did something completely unexpected. He reached out a hand to him and...smiled. He was so taken aback by his strange behaviour that Naruto didn't know what to do except accept. He had half expected it to be some dirty trick and tensed, preparing himself for the Uchiha prodigy to yank him forward and knee him in the groin but the look within his dark, chocolate eyes reassured Naruto the gesture was genuine.

So that was how their 'friendship' started and that was when everything changed. When word spread that Sasuke; the hot, rich, exotic foreign exchange student had befriended Naruto; the school's most stupid, bucolic, last-place failure everyone treated him differently, even some of the teachers. Naruto knew the attention was counterfeit but he milked it while he could. For once people were laughing with him and not at him, for once people listened to him and didn't just insult him and for once people acknowledged him and didn't ignore him.

Naruto soon grew weary of the presitge and he realized that the only friend he really needed was Sasuke. That was the best year of his nineteen years on earth. Soon the exchange program drew to a close and the Student Council (Ino) wanted to throw a farewell party for him, Naruto was invited purely out of common courtesy, but Sasuke never showed up and neither did Naruto. Instead, they had spent the enitre night driving around the city just talking about dreams, aspirations and goals. Neither talked much about their past or their family but that was fine since neither were ready to share the pain and demons of the past.

They had stopped on a ridge and both boys sat on the hood of Sasuke's vehicle looking over the cliff at the night lights and enjoying the view and their last few moments together. At two o' clock in the morning they drove back to Naruto's home in complete silence not wanting to break their silent conversation together. Naruto couldn't open his mouth even if he wanted to, he couldn't get anything past the lump in his throat. After Sasuke dropped him off at his apartment they shared another tense, silent moment before Sasuke nodded his head and turned to leave. The sight of the taller man's retreating back made the younger boy break down and he called out after his friend and embraced him in a tight hug.

He had never cried so much in his life.

Naruto wanted to be strong, he didn't want his rival to see him like this but something...somewhere deep down inside him knew that the older boy wouldn't hold it against him. They had embraced for what seemed like hours but was actually about twenty seconds before they broke away, very embarassed. Sasuke had given Naruto his e-mail address that night and the first thing he did when he got inside was send the bastard a message.

They kept correspondence like that for a while until Sasuke informed him that his college was having a student exchange programme and if Naruto was interested he could pull some strings for him. Naruto jumped at the offer and here he was now on a plane to-

"-Leaf Village in a few minutes, please fasten your seat belts and put all trays in the upright and locked position. Thank you for flying Japan Air and do have a wonderful day."

Naruto jumped out of his thoughts at the voice on the intercom.

Finally!

After a while the plane came to a stop and all the passengers began to disembark. Naruto took his time, he wasn't in a rush or anything and he didn't like the idea of being pushed around in a sea of impatient people. He took this as the last opportunity to hit on the girl across from him but she just rolled her eyes and gathered her possessions before quickly getting lost in small mob.

Naruto chalked up this loss to the opinion that she must be gay. His thoughts trailed as he wondered if she'd let him hang out with her and her lover.

He said his farewells to the cute, little stewardess and made a motion to lean over and kiss her on the lips but he froze when he saw her mother glaring at him, her nostrils flared. He flashed her a toothy grin and saluted with two fingers. "Bye, Peggy," he said before stealing a quick kiss from the girl (mmm, strawberry) and high-tailed it out of the air-craft.

Jiraiya would have been so proud.

Naruto collected his luggage and was surprised and very relieved that there were no problems. He made his way to the Arrival's Hall and prepared to wait patiently for Sasuke but he wasn't prepared to wait so long. He gave his friend five more minutes before sending a text message.

'Asshole where r u?'

A few seconds later his cell phone rang, the ring tone alerted him that it was a text message.

'Got tired waiting for your ass. Went to run an errand.'
Naruto rolled his eyes. Only a priss like Sasuke Uchicha would use proper english in a text message.

'Well hurry up.'

'Keep your panties on I'll be there soon.'

'Fuk u'

'No dobe, Fuck you!'

'How long will u be gon?

'Dunno'

'Hurry up'

'UZUMAKI, SHIT JUST GIVE ME 5 MINS I'M TURNING AROUND'

'Sweet ;D'

'If you txt me again I'll kick your as'

Naruto laughed out loud, not caring if everyone looked at him as if he had just gone certifiably insane. It was a childish thing to do but he just loved to press Sasuke's buttons and now he had undeniable proof of Sasuke using leet speech and making a typo.

Although he said he was going to arrive shortly Naruto still felt restless and used what little time he had to look around and stretch his legs again.

The airport was huge and very pristine. The smooth marble tiles were almost immaculate and Naruto almost felt guilty for having to walk on them, the pillars were a smooth grey, cool to the touch and the boy was surprised to find no traces of dried gum attached. A side thought hit him and he glanced under a nearby bench to find no gum under there either. Interesting! He glanced up at the woman who had gasped and was now clutching the hem of her skirt with her knees pressed tightly together. She must have thought he was trying to look up her skirt or something. Damn! How did he miss that opportunity. Mouthing an apology he continued his inspection of the place.

He looked at the billboards and tried to translate some of them as best as he could but quickly changed his mind when he came across some hiragana characters that he couldn't remember their meaning.

He soon found a thick, orange wire which was probably an extension cord of some sort and decided to follow it to see what was attached at the other end. It went on for quite a few yards and led around the outside of the terminal to a secluded area behind the hangars and where unauthorized personnel probably shouldn't be. The curious blond decided he had followed it for far too long and that Sasuke had probably returned by now, but just as he was about to make his way back he heard a small yelp. It was a very low sound and he would have passed it off as an animal or maybe just his hyperactive imagination but he heard it again and this time it sounded strangled.

He slowly approached the source of the noise which led him to another corner and he peeked around slowly. It was a group of four men and they were huddled around...something, a girl. He couldn't make out what they were saying but he could see what they were doing. The shortest of the group hand one of her wrists gripped in his hand while his other was tracing an invisible line up her thigh. Another man held onto her other hand and brought that to his crotch and rubbed it greedily. The tallest one walked around behind her and gripped her hips while he nuzzled his face in her dark hair, the last one, who had his back to Naruto appeared to be fiddling around with his fly.

Now while Naruto happened to be a fan of voyeurism he was not particularly keen on rape and while he could see the men were more than eager the girl looked like she was not. The boy took a deep breath and tried to mull this over in his head. While it may appear to be one thing it could be, that perhaps, the girl was just having some kind of rape fantasy fulfilled, a la one of Jiraiya's heroines in his first book. If that were the case and he did attempt to go to the girl's rescue then he'd only end up embarrassing himself.

...Maybe they'd let him watch... Gah! He was around that perverted old man for far too long.

He shook his head and peeked around the corner again and almost got a nose bleed. They had removed her jacket and lifted her shirt to reveal two, albeit small but well proportioned breasts, the men didn't waste any time fondling the creamy globes. The girl didn't make much noise, she kept her mouth shut and her eyes firmly closed but Naruto was still convinced it might be an act. The man backing Naruto said something to the others and they laughed but the girl shook her head furiously. The three holding her pushed her down towards the eager crotch of the fourth man. She released a shriek of protest before her mouth was filled with cock. He wasn't aware that the scene playing before him was having any effect on him until he realized that his body felt warm and his pants was suddenly starting to feel a little too tight, but that tingling in his lower region soon faded when he saw tears stream down the girl's round face.

"Hey!" He yelled and ran out from his vantage point to confront the men. He had obviously surprised them because they immediately let her go and she used that opportunity to quickly grab her coat and run off. Naruto watched her go and was almost sorry to see her leave, but yet satisfied that he had apparently made the right decision. She was actually pretty cute, he would have liked to play up the role of her knight-in-shining armour...and maybe cop a feel.

One disaster was averted but another began to brew as the group of men became incensed that they had lost their toy. Naruto was so caught up in his fantasies with the girl that he only realized the men were about a few feet away from him.

"Uhh, can I help you?" The teen asked raising a thin, yellow eyebrow.

The men exchanged amused glances before man with his pants down spoke up. "Yeah actually, since you just scared off a good lay, we were thinking you could take her place."

This chapter went on for far too long so the ending is a bit rushed.
