When I look inside...

Okay, second chapter is up! Forgive my poor vocabulary but it’s the first time I’m writing something like this and I don’t really have my vocabulary expanded, mostly because English is not my main language, it’s a little hard, but I’m working on it, hopefully the chapters ahead will be better. Yosh, now read, go go! XD

Chapter 2





“Sasuke, is this what you want?” Naruto shouted from the other corner of the store waiving some pencils in his hand.



That Sakura, who does she think she is? Sasuke sighed …and also, I don’t know what’s happening to me, I’ve been thinking really weird things lately… He was running his fingers through some books absentmindedly I mean, I can’t believe that I actually thought about Naruto as my dobe… He stopped to collect some tubes of painting but that must have an explanation, must be because he’s my best friend, yeah, that’s it! We’ve known each other for years, it’s natural that I think of him that way! He stopped suddenly, an eyebrow arched …it must be that right? Or maybe anoth… Sasuke was so lost in his musings that he didn’t notice the blonde walking up to him with a large frown. Naruto smacked his head.



“Hey!!!! I’ve been shouting for like 10 minutes now and you won’t listen!!!” He folded his arms over his chest and was tapping his foot angrily on the floor.



“I was thinking about some things, didn’t hear you.” The brunette stated glancing quickly at Naruto, he focused on the set of paint tubes again, he was starting to blush, his thoughts were too recent and he couldn’t look at Naruto right now. Damn, damn, damn



“Well it must have been pretty important things for you not to hear me, I was screaming like hell!”



Sasuke turned his back and started to walk to the other side of the store where the easels were. “Whatever dobe, and don’t tap your foot like that, you look like a frog.”



Naruto felt like laughing at that, but instead he decided to scowl the Uchiha, nobody called him frog and walked away without response.



“Hey, I do not look like a frog you weasel!”



Sasuke tuned to retort at that but was immediately interrupted by Hinata.



“Naruto-Kun!”



Why is it that every time I try to answer back to the dobe someone interrupts me??



Naruto looked at Sasuke with a triumphant grin and stuck his tongue out.



Gah, I hate this, he always wins.



Hinata walked warily to the blonde’s side.



“Hi Hinata! What brings you here?



“I came to buy some material for my project and…um… I saw you here and…I wanted to ask you something.” Hinata’s cheeks flushed, she was always very shy around Naruto. She had a crush on him since they were in primary school.



Sasuke was watching the scene from the corner of his eye, he didn’t want to be caught staring. Hmmm, is this why Naruto was so anxious? Because he knew Hinata would be here? He watched as Naruto asked Hinata what she wanted to say to him. The black haired girl was looking to the floor and poking her fingers together, she was completely red. She turned again to face Naruto. Sasuke approached the two of them a little more, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to hear anything.



Hinata took a breath of courage.



“Naruto-Kun, will you go out with me tonight?”



Naruto’s jaw dropped as well as Sasuke’s.



“Hinat…ta…Well sure, I’m glad you finally asked!” Naruto said cheerfully.



Hinata’s blush turned a shade redder and Sasuke broke the pencils he had in his hand with the shock. Now I’m sure!! He planned this, that’s why he agreed to come with me so promptly. I can’t believe he accepted, no, I can’t believe she had the courage to ask him, I can’t believe that he likes her, I can’t believe this, and while I’m at it, I can’t believe I’m thinking these things!! What’s wrong with me? Am I jealous?? No, that can’t be, but then, why am I so upset? Am I upset?



“Say Sasuke, are you finished picking what you need?” Naruto rested his hand on Sasuke’s shoulder.



“What?” Sasuke was with a I-wasn’t-paying-any-attention-at-all look.



“You were distracted again??” Naruto rolled his eyes.



“I think I was.” He glanced around. “And Hinata?



“You think you were? Boy, you are acting so weird since we came here. Hinata already left.”



Sasuke just nodded and headed to the cash desk.

“Just shut the fuck up Naruto!! I can’t hear you anymore!” Sasuke shouted slamming the door open.



“What’s wrong with you??” Naruto enquired taken aback.



“You came all the way since we left the store babbling about how great your date is going to be, about how cute Hinata is…” He started blinking his eyes and mimicking Hinata “…I got the point, now please shut up!” He slumped in his bed with his face on the pillows.



Naruto just stared in silence. Before entering the bathroom to take a bath he stopped and looked at his friend’s silhouette laying on the bed. “I just wanted to share my happiness with you, I never thought you would react like that.” Naruto stayed in silence for a few seconds. “I never thought I would bother you so much.” Sasuke noticed a tone of disappointment on the blonde’s voice. Naruto sighed and closed the door entering the bathroom.



Sasuke rose up on his knees and covered his face with both his hands. Great Uchiha, you just hurt the feelings of your best friend. I’m such an asshole. He sighed and went to the kitchen to eat something. He poured some milk into a cup, grabbed some cookies and sat on the table. He rubbed his thumbs against the cup before sipping some milk. What’s happening? Why am I so bothered that Naruto is going out with Hinata? I should be happy for him, but… Sasuke lowered his head on the table stretching his arms. Why am I so bothered by it?? He sat up straight again and looked at the ceiling, that’s when he heard the soft click of the bathroom door opening.



Naruto stepped into the room and headed to his bed where he left his clothes ready. Sasuke came in from the kitchen, Naruto looked at him briefly with a blank expression, Sasuke felt his heart squeeze. He never looked at me like that, he must be really angry



“Naruto” Sasuke walked to the blonde’s side.



Naruto turned to him, but his eyes were on the floor. He was too upset with Sasuke.



“What do y…”



Naruto’s eyes went wide as he felt Sasuke’s arms pulling him closer, the brunette embraced him.



“I’m sorry Naruto.” Sasuke whispered into the ear of the slightly smaller boy.



Naruto grabbed Sasuke’s shirt and rested his forehead on his friends shoulder.



“How can I say no when you ask like this?” Naruto said softly.



This feels so good…Naruto… Sasuke tightened his grip on the whisker marked boy.



They remained like that for a few moments, but then Naruto pulled the brunette away and smiled. “I have to get ready to go get Hinata.”



“Yeah, you better get ready.” The raven haired boy agreed going back to the kitchen.



“You know Sasuke…” Said boy stopped and glanced at Naruto. “I’m worried about you.”



Sasuke blinked. “You are?”



“Yes, you’ve been acting a little weird lately. I don’t know what’s wrong with you.”



Neither do I Sasuke was looking to the window with an unreadable expression.



“You know you can tell me any problem you have, I’m here for you.”



“Thanks Naruto, I know.” But this time I can’t talk to you because you’re the reason I’m acting like this. And I don’t even know why.



“Now get dressed or you’ll be late to go get Hinata.”



“Yes sir!”

Sasuke felt someone wake him, he opened his eyes hazily.



“Naruto?”



“Yeah, it’s me”



“What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be on a date?”



“I should, but I don’t want to be on a date with Hinata, I don’t want her”



Sasuke looked at Naruto clearly confused, all his sleepiness disappeared. He sat on the bed rubbing his head.



“You don’t want her?”



“No”



“I’m not understanding your point.” Sasuke arched a brow.



“My point is…” Naruto leaned closer to Sasuke “I want you.”



“Y-y-you w-wa-want m-me???”



Naruto was leaning closer and closer until his lips were almost touching Sasuke’s.



“Yes” Sasuke could feel the blonde’s breath on his lips.



Naruto slid his hand under Sasuke’s shirt feeling his chest.



“I assume you want me too, you’re not pulling back.”



“Just don’t stop Naruto!”

“Don’t stop what?”



“Don’t stop what you’re doing.” Sasuke hissed pleadingly.



“What am I doing?” Naruto asked intrigued, it was obvious that Sasuke was dreaming about him.



“You’re…”



Sasuke woke up startled panting hardly and sweating all over, Naruto was staring at him clueless.



“Sasuke, are you alright?”



“Na-Na-Naruto?” Sasuke glanced around It was just a dream. “I’m fine.”



“You were asking me to continue what I was doing.”



Sasuke froze “I was?”



“Yes, and you were breathing really fast and grabbing my arm.”



“I…aaaaa…I….don’t remember.” He slumped on the bed covering himself completely to hide the violent blush on his face and other visible indications of his dream.



“Sasukeeeeee?”



“What?”



“Teeeellll meeeeeee.”



“No.”



“Ha, then you remember!!” Naruto grinned triumphantly removing the mattresses covering Sasuke.



The brunette shivered at the loss of heat and jumped out of bed heading towards the bathroom before Naruto could see the bulge on his pants. Naruto stretched himself to grab the tip of Sasuke’s shirt but couldn’t hold to it as he fell on the floor from the edge of the bed hitting his chin. Sasuke smirked before closing the door.



“Ouch, don’t make fun! It hurt!” Naruto scowled rubbing his chin.



He could hear Sasuke’s suppressed laughter.



“I’ll get you for that! I can hear you, and you still have to explain that dream just now.” The blonde opened a box of tissues and soaked it with alcohol pressing it against his injured chin and yelping at the burning sensation. “Don’t think I’ll forget that.”



Sasuke stopped laughing as he started playing back his dream in his head. He leaned against the tiled wall remembering the sensations he felt when Naruto was touching him in his dream. I can’t believe I had an erotic dream with the dobe!! He raised his hand sliding it down his face. And I was enjoying it! Why the hell was I enjoying it?? Why did I want him to touch me so bad…ly… His eyes went wide as a possibility invaded his musings. It can’t be…Am I attracted to Naruto? A slight blush rose on his cheeks. That would explain my reactions when he touches me. He glanced down and sighed. I have to take care of this. Cold shower, now!

Sasuke strode into the room heading towards his bed but stopping halfway. He glanced back to Naruto’s bed. Jesus, Naruto The blonde was fast asleep with his arms and legs spread, breathing slowly through parted lips, his blonde locks covering his forehead, the whisker like marks on his tanned skin. It’s totally your fault for looking so adorable dobe. Sasuke sat beside Naruto and ran his fingers through his forehead touching his blonde locks, he did it slowly so that he wouldn’t wake the blonde. Naruto moaned at his touch and Sasuke removed his hand immediately afraid that he might have woken him. I better stop here. He stood up and glanced at the watch. One o’clock?? Man, good thing tomorrow’s Saturday. He went to his wardrobe and grabbed his pajamas. Before he got to bed he looked at Naruto wondering if he should wake him, he decided not to, instead he snatched a blanket from the closet at covered the blonde. What a day, I found that I actually find the dobe sexy, Jesus. He turned the lights of and soon sleep took over him.

“Mmmmmham mmmmmmham, ramen, mmmmmmm, sukeee, buy me ramen please.”



What the hell is this?? Sasuke turned to his left side of the bed and almost had a heart attack, he found Naruto sleeping next to him.



“What the hell!!” He shook the blonde awake “Naruto!”



Naruto slowly opened his eyes “Sasukeeee, calm down, you’re making me dizzy!”



“What the hell are you doing in my bed??”



“Well, I had a nightmare last night, so…” Sasuke arched a brow “…I came to sleep with you because I was kind of afraid.”



The brunette’s eyes were static staring at Naruto, his lips were twitching trying to suppress the urge to laugh, but he couldn’t hold out much longer. “Hahaha, Naruto!! I can’t believe this! Hahahaha, you’re such a cry baby, after all these years you still come to me when you have nightmares.”



Naruto frowned and threw an angry glance at Sasuke “Hey, don’t make fun, this is your fault, I got used to coming to you.”



“How is this my fault?”



“When we were little, every time I was scared about something you would come to me.” Naruto smiled softly as well as Sasuke.



“Yeah, I remember that, but I stopped doing that a few years ago, when we got older.”



“But I keep coming to you still.” He giggled and started poking Sasuke’s forehead.



Sasuke pulled the hand away letting out a small laughter. “C’mon Naruto stop doing that, you know I hate it.”



“Yup, and that’s why I do it.”



“Oh yeah?”



Sasuke threw himself towards Naruto and started tickling him.



“Hahaha, Sa-sa-suke!!” Sasuke was sitting on top of his friend tickling him while Naruto tried desperately to break free from the brunette’s grip.



“Better stop or you’ll wet your pants.” Sasuke stood up smirking leaving a breathless Naruto behind.



“What do you want for breakfast?” The raven haired boy asked from the kitchen.



“Mmmmm, I don’t know, whatever you decide is fine with me.” Naruto replied after a moment of silence.

After breakfast they both got dressed and went to ice-skating, they didn’t have plans for the weekend so Sasuke thought about that. Of course the fact that Naruto wasn’t too good at it helped, Sasuke loved to make fun of Naruto while he was standing up after falling down clumsily on the ice floor. Took a while to make him agree but he was finally able to convince him by offering ramen for lunch. You’re so easy to manipulate Naruto Sasuke thought smirking to himself.



“Oh, by the way, I completely forgot”



Naruto looked at Sasuke “What?”



“How was your date with Hinata?”



Naruto took his eyes off Sasuke and glanced forward, a slight blush settling on his cheeks. “It was alright.”



He can’t fool me with that “Naruto? What happened?”



The blonde boy shrugged uncomfortably “Nothing, everything went fine.”



“Naruto, you can’t fool me and you know it.”



Looking at Sasuke Naruto frowned, he knew darn well he was right, but there was no way he would tell what happened last night, it was too embarrassing. “Let it go Sasuke, you won’t be able to pull it out from me.”



“You know that I will eventually and…Oh!!” Sasuke stopped walking he looked like he had just made a major discovery. “You still didn’t tell me what happened when you got late to that class.”



“Whaaa??” Naruto couldn’t believe he still remembered that.



“Ha, don’t think I’ll let you escape this time, come on, spill it.”



“Well fine.” Folding his arms Naruto started telling what happened. “Well, I…um… First you have to promise not to laugh” Sasuke raised his hand in agreement.



“I got out of the room a few minutes after you left, and when I was about to reach the elevator I forgot to bring my English assignment.” Naruto sighed and rubbed the back of his head. “I had to go back to our room, when I took the keys out to open the door I dropped them and I don’t know how, they ended up on the other side of the door. Hey!! You said you wouldn’t laugh!!”



Sasuke straightened himself and coughed “I’m not laughing, go on.”



“Yes you where, you are dying to laugh.”



“Just go on dobe.” A note of anticipation in Sasuke’s voice, he was dying to hear the rest.



Naruto gave one last scowling glare before continuing. “Well, that assignment was very important so I had to get it, I couldn’t go in through the door, so I tried going inside using the window…”



“Pppffff *cough* Aham, sorry about that, I had something in my throat.”



“Sasukeeee!!!” Naruto was furious.



“What?? I didn’t laugh” He made a surprised face at Naruto and put his hand on his chest.



“Don’t give me that crap.”



“Just tell it Naruto.”



“Alright, I might as well get this over with, I can’t stand you contorting your face like that, you look retarded.”



Sasuke made a face at that, but ignored the comment, otherwise Naruto wouldn’t tell the rest, he was taking too long already. He looked at the blonde and motioned for him to resume what he was saying.



“Well, as I was saying I tried the window, and fortunately for me it was open, so I climbed and hopped inside, but…the damn shirt somehow got stuck in the window, I didn’t notice till it ripped, I had to go to the closet and take another one.” He glanced at Sasuke to see if he was contorting his face, surprisingly he was with that cold looking face he usually wears. “Then I didn’t know where I had left the assignment, I started looking for it, it was under the bedside table, I was able to get a hold of it, but when I was about to get up I rammed my head on the underside of it and a glass of water fell on my head. I dried my hair as fast as I could, The alarm clock came into view and I was already late, I ran out of there and the rest you already know.”



Sasuke was looking at Naruto with a blank expression, which Naruto thought it was extremely weird, he approached his friend and waved a hand in front of his eyes, nothing. Sasuke was completely frozen there. Naruto folded his arms and stared dumbfounded, he was about to ask if he was alright when the brunette suddenly ran off like crazy laughing his guts out.



“Sasuke you bastard!!!!” Naruto ran off after him. “You promised you wouldn’t laugh!!”



“I’m sorry Naruto but it’s just impossible not to, you’re clumsy like hell!!!”



“I’ll never tell you anything ever again!”



“Of course you won’t”



“Argh, I mean it Sasuke!!”



“Of course you mean it.”



“Stop mocking me!!!”



“Alright, alright, sorry” Sasuke stopped running and bent down with his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.



“Sasuke you idiot don’t stop running so suddenly!!!!!!”



Naruto was running too fast and couldn’t stop when the brunette did, so he crashed against Sasuke and they both fell flat on the floor with Naruto on top of him.



“Shit, Naruto!” Sasuke gritted.



“It’s your fault you stopped so suddenly!”



“You need new brakes, geesh.”



Sasuke glanced up at Naruto who was staring at him with a concentrated gaze looking straight into his eyes. The blonde leaned closer. Sasuke put a hand in his friend’s chest to prevent him from leaning closer.



“Naruto, what are you doing??”



“You know…” The blonde leaned even closer ignoring the hand on his chest, he didn’t even notice it was there, Sasuke wasn’t applying any pressure at all for the blonde to move away, he realised he couldn’t push Naruto away, he didn’t want to. “…you have the most beautiful black eyes I’ve ever seen.”



“What??” Blinking Sasuke asked himself what drug Naruto took this morning.



“They really are…” Naruto kept on, not taking his eyes off of Sasuke’s. “…I’ve never noticed before.”



“Well, now you noticed, get off of me.” Before I grab you, and kiss you, and roll with you on the floor, and use my tongue lick you all over. “Get off Naruto!!” Sasuke gathered all the strength he had left and shoved Naruto away. He stood up brushing the dust out of his clothes, he fixed his eyes on Naruto, he was rubbing his head and his back. What the hell happened here? And then he says I’m weird, he’s the weirdo here.



“You are so brutal Sasukee!! You didn’t have to brush me off like that!” Naruto whined.



“Well, I told you to get off and you didn’t, so I had to do it myself.”



“Yeah, yeah, let’s just go ice skating.”



They finally arrived where they were headed. Sasuke took his wallet and paid for one hour of skating ignoring the protests of Naruto saying he could pay his share. He grabbed the ice-skates the woman handed him and tossed one pair at the blonde. He then made his way to the ice track with Naruto following behind with a frown.Baka Sasuke..



They sat on the bench and put on the ice-skates. Sasuke finished first and leapt out of his seat. Naruto was having trouble in putting the damn things on his feet. Sasuke glanced back and rolled his eyes. “You’re such a dobe.” He leaned in front of the blonde helping him. “Shut up Sasuke.” He glanced back at the blonde to retort at that comment but all his resolve crumbled when he became aware of the position they were in, Naruto was seating with his head tilted back, resting on the wall, while Sasuke was leaning in front of him, he glanced forward ant stared at Naruto’s groin, he swallowed hard. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.. He slapped his forehead and shook his head. Get a hold of yourself Uchiha, it’s bad enough I have dreams with the dobe, and now every time I fucking look at him I get exited??



“Are you alright Sasuke?”



The worried voice of Naruto brought him back to reality.



“I’m fine, you can get up now.”



They were about to enter the ice track when Sasuke stopped abruptly, Naruto slumped against his back. “Hey watch it, why did you…s…to…p.” Naruto stared in shock at what was in front of his eyes.



“I don’t understand Naruto, how can this be happening?” Sasuke clenched his fists, he was shaking nervously.



“I…I don’t know either, I’m just as surprised as you are. I thought he was…dead.”



“This time I’ll make sure he really dies.”



Sasuke took off skating furiously to the reason of his anger, Naruto went after him desperately.



“Sasuke stop!”



The brunette just ignored him, his rage was pounding furiously in his heart.



“I’m going to kill you, you MOTHERFUCKING BASTARD!!!”

Weeeee, chapter 2! Hope it’s good enough. Once again I apologize for my poor vocabulary, I’m trying to improve, maybe chapter 3 will be more diverse. I also realised I use too much dialogue Oo, don’t know if it’s a good thing or bad. And also, I don’t have anyone to read the chapters before I post them, if there is anyone interested in being my beta reader please let me know! Things will get interesting from now on, I have a few surprises up ahead! Well, I hope you like it! Chapter 3 is coming soon, stay tuned XD
