"Hmm...Sasuke, can you tell me the answer to the last problem?"
"No, dobe. Figure it out for yourself." Naruto sighed dejectedly at Sasuke's words, glaring down at the math problem with the most sinister look he could muster. He would have glared at Sasuke too, except he was leaning his back against the dark haired boy's shoulder, and that would require turning around.
"Argh! Math is the evil of all evils," Naruto groaned, flinging his notebook across the room, barely missing an expensive vase and causing Sasuke to sigh. "Okay. Homework's done."
''I don't think finishing three-fourths of every subject qualifies as 'done'." Sasuke's impassive black eyes quickly flickered the blonde on his shoulder, then back to the book on his lap. Naruto waved away Sasuke's words with his hand.
''I'll just do the rest of it in homeroom or something," Naruto replied carelessly. ''What are you reading?"
"A book I checked out of the library on chakra techniques," Sasuke answered. In an instant Naruto's head replaced the book on his lap and the blonde was now reading it.
''Hmm..." Naruto said.
''Maybe if you had a reading skill above that of a second grader," Sasuke suggested helpfully. Naruto looked up from the book with a scowl.
"Asshole."
"Dobe." Naruto's scowl deepened, and Sasuke buried a hand into the blond locks, stroking thoughtfully. His fingers massaged Naruto's scalp. And the shorter youth found his anger dissipating.
''Not fair," Naruto complained. Sasuke smirked.
''All's fair in love and war." Their eyes met, an unwavering stare.
''And which is this?" Naruto asked, half swallowing when Sasuke leaned down toward Naruto's face, fingers still tangled in the light locks.
''War," Sasuke stated, his eyes closing and he gave Naruto a peck on the nose. Narato hmmed and tilted his head upwards. The next kiss landed on his lips, and obviously neither minded. Sasuke grazed his tongue along Naruto's lower lip and nipped it, not really asking permission into the delectable mouth but just teasing the blond. Naruto made a soft and pleased noise, one hand grabbing the back of Sasuke's neck. He lifted his head to press his lips firmly against Sasuke's, parting his lips slightly. Teeth clicked, and the dark haired youth slipped his tongue in a quick brush against Naruto's tongue, the sweetness filling his mouth, then he pulled away. Naruto was a little disconcerted and Sasuke had to fight back a smile at the beautiful image of reddened cheeks against tanned skin, eyes a little unfocused but mainly gazing at Sasuke's lips.
Oh gods, I loved him. And it was strange. Recently our actions have been less passionate and more affectionate. Not that, hopefully, either of us minded. I, of course, didn't mind, and he didn't seem to mind. It was...pleasant to say the least.
"Are you hungry?" Sasuke asked quietly.
"Yeah, a little." Naruto grinned and settled his head back down. "Ramen?"
"Um, no. You need a better diet than ramen every day."
"Ramen is the best!" Naruto exclaimed.
''I'm gonna make you something non-ramen and you are gonna eat it." Naruto sat up, grunting in agreement. He didn't mind. Sasuke was a good cook.
