Kiss Me Before I Close My Eyes


Naruto was stunned, staring in disbelief at the body that he holds in his hands. The red
chakra began to dissipate, leaving the Kyuubi holder’ mind hazy. Blinking his azure eyes, in an
effort to focus his thoughts, what the hell happened? All I remember is that I saw Teme, he said
something that pissed me off, then all I could see was red. Scrunching up his nose as the putrid
smell hit him full force. What the hell? What’s that smell? It smells like something burning.

A slight weight in his arms reminded the blonde that he was still indeed holding the teme. His eyes widened in horror as he took in the profile of Sasuke; bathed in own blood, skin seemingly melted around his back. The white of his shoulder bone was also showing, that’s not even mentioning the countless blisters that seemed to cover every inch of the ninja. What the fuck?! What the hell did I do?!

The blonde dropped the man without ceremony onto the floor and stepped back in disbelief. Sasuke cried out in excruciating pain, from the careless treatment even though he remained unconscious. Naruto almost reached out his hand to give comfort to his former friend, but quickly retracted and glared cruelly at the figure on the floor. Should I get help? Or Should I let him suffer as I suffered? A whimper of pain from Sasuke made Naruto come to a final decision. Squaring his shoulders and wiping his face of emotion, Naruto walked over to a window and swung it open. Unmindful of the injuries that Sasuke had sustained, he bent down and swung Sasuke over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. “Baa-chan will know what to do.” he said with satisfaction; before he jumped out of the window and started his trek towards the Hokage Tower.

The trip to the tower was uneventful, except the occasional cry of pain from the Sharingan wielder each time Naruto landed on another rooftop. Landing on the windowsill of the Godaime; carefully balanced his captive he opened the window with one hand. Slipping through the opening he was not surprised upon seeing Tsunade snoring loudly and drooling on her paperwork.

Then again not much could surprise him after all these chain of events “Hey baa-chan wake the hell up. I have a guest you would like to meet.” He ducked instinctively when a paperweight was thrown at his head. “What do you want gaki; and what couldn’t have waited until tomorrow?”

Tsunade growled more than a little irritated, lifting her head in another angry retort she paused upon seeing the motionless body slung over Naruto’s shoulder. “Take him in the back room, now.” Naruto looked as if he was about to say something in protest, but changed his mind and placed the older ninja on an examining table in the back. Tsunade rolled up her sleeves, and swiftly formed familiar hand seals. The worst of the man’s wounds was slowly knitting together because the green chakra coming from the medic-ninja. “Is this the younger Uchiha, gaki?”

“Yeah,” Naruto said indifferently arms folded.
Tsunade was quiet for a while, concentrating on healing the injured missing ninja and glancing at the brooding Naruto. Exhausted after using so much chakra, she quickly bandaged the rest of Uchiha’s wounds and checking his vitals, she sauntered back into the main office. Naruto followed Tsunade and watched with raised eyebrows as he saw, baa-chan open a bottle of sake. “You shouldn’t drink so much baa-chan you might accidentally release that jutsu of yours and everybody would see your true face.” The Fifth glared at the other blonde and took a swallow of sake, “This is no time for jokes. Serious-
“Who said I was joking,” Naruto murmured.

A paperweight flew at Naruto and this time it didn’t miss. “Ow ow...that hurt.” the blonde said rubbing a sizable bump on his head. “Like I was saying, you realize that a missing ninja is in the other room right now?”
“Of course I do, I was the one who brought him here and I thought I was the dobe?”

Tsunade reached over and punched Naruto in the head, eyebrow twitching. “Be serious gaki, I want some answers. Now!” Naruto dropped his shoulders in defeat as he answered.

“Well I think Sasuke was trying to kill me again. He probably thought he could take advantage of the fact I was recuperating from the poison Senbon from my last mission. Luckily, I still had sensed him before he could have succeeded.”

Naruto scratched his head, “I held him captive, but being a teme he pissed me off and then...red.”
Tsunade studied Naruto before responding. “You let the demon out, didn’t you? Well, at least that explains the burns.”

Naruto looked at the ground. “Gaki, everyone loses their temper at some point. Personally, I’d say he had it coming. He tried to kill you....twice.” The other blonde flinched at the words even though he knew it was true.

“Well I’m off to bed. The Uchiha is in still in bad shape to be moving anytime soon, but still keep an eye on him,” The Godaime rolled her shoulders and yawned. “Tomorrow we can probably get some answers from him. Well...Night.” Tsunade waved and walked away to her private chambers.
Naruto’s eyes darkened for a second before he walked back into the room with Sasuke. ‘Hnn I know everything that happened, but there is no point to tell the Hokage the details.’ The blonde rubbed Sasuke face almost as a caress, “Just wait, I have many plans for you Teme. Reasons why you should have never left...I’ll make you never want to leave again.” His eyes burned with passion and meaning as he stared down at the sleeping figure before him.
