The blond was in the middle of devouring his third cup of ramen, when their came a knock at the door. He almost jumped in surprise to his uttermost embarrassment.
“Who is knocking at my door?,” Taking a quick glance at the clock, “at six in the morning!!”
Crossing the room in quick strides, he gulped and hesitantly opened the door. The softly blowing wind is the only thing that greeted him.
“Nani?”
A finger tapped him on the back that caused Naruto to jump 10 feet in the air from fright.
“AHHHH, you...you are a baka, Kakashi-sensei.”
“Yo,” replied a certain silver haired jounin, who happened to sound really smug at the moment.
“Why can’t you greet people like a normal person?”
Kakashi scratched his nose and proceeded to pull out the last edition of ‘Icha Icha Paradise’ and began reading.
“A ninja should always be prepared for the inevitable.”
The younger man didn’t even bother to retort. His eyes were trained on the book in Kakashi’s hand.
“Jariya-sensei….” he murmured.
Kakashi’s eyes widened for a second and hastily shoved the book in his back pocket.
