We walked down the darkened porch towards Naruto’s apartment silently lest we get exposed. Naruto held my hand guiding me in the shadows like he had done this enough times to walk it blind, when we finally made it to his door he turned to me nervously.
“I haven’t clean up”
“Naruto don’t worry I already know you’re messy” I gave him a mocking smile
“Well I never thought you’d actually want to come over…so it’s not like a fancy apartment like yours”
“Naruto just open up the door” he gave a nod as he turned to the door and unlocked it. The door swung open revealing a moonlit room immaculately clean the sight taking me by surprise, this was definitely more then I had ever expected from Naruto.
“It’s clean Naruto” I turned to look at him “There’s nothing wrong with it”
“I’m glad you approve. Cause I clean it every day that we have training and just before we go on missions” he began to rub his head “Just in case…well lets get out of the night”
We moved inside shutting the door behind us and closing an important chapter of our youthful innocence. I stood just in the doorway a little nervous that I was standing in Naruto’s lounge room, he moved around quietly trying to organize the room when finally he turned on the lights. He stood with a wide grin on his face standing just in his boxers and a black t-shirt his hands grasps behind his head.
“Naruto you’re…” I gasped in surprise
“Sorry do you want me to put on my pants?” he hurried towards his drawer
“No. I like you the way you are” I hurried over grabbing his arm
His face turned bright red as I stared down into his deep blue eyes, a small grin forming on my face. I brushed my hand up against his face caressing his reddened cheeks, I stepped into him as I gently kissed his inviting lips. I slide my hand to the back of his neck as my other hand moved to caress his lower back I pulled him closer till our chests rested against one another.
“You look adorable just the way you are” I offered as I finally broke off the kiss, both my hands now resting on his lower back.
“And so do you Sasuke” he replied as he slide his hands up my back
We stood in silence for a while just holding each other staring into each others eyes, not sure exactly what to do next.
“So what do we do now?” I asked unsure
“I’m not really sure, I’ve never had a … well are you hungry?” I nodded as I kissed his forehead
“Just like you, always thinking of food” I gave him a half grin in response to his broad smile.
He broke away from my hold as he headed over to his small kitchen opening up his fridge and stared inside confused.
“I don’t really have anything to eat, only Ramen” he continued to stare into the fridge
I walked over peering into the fridge to see it full of Ramen and two plates of vegetable stir fry.
“Naruto you have … did you make those for us?”
“Yes. I know how you’re not a real fan of sweet or spicy food so I thought I’d have something that you liked in the fridge” I could sense that he was blushing from the reddening of his ears
“Naruto you’ve gone to so much trouble, how long have you been doing this?”
“Since I realized that I liked you” he turned around to face me “Don’t worry I make a new stir fry …” I pulled him into a hug cutting him off
“Thank you for caring so much” I whispered into his ear pulling him closer

We sat quietly at a make shift dinner table eating the stir fry, which surprisingly tasted edible. Ever so often he would look up from his food giving me a quick glance when he thought I wasn’t looking.
“I never knew that you could cook, let alone something as fancy as this”
“Well at first it wasn’t that great but the more times I cooked it the better it tasted” he continued to blush and still avoided eye contact.
“Well I’m glad it turned out as good as it has” I gave him a warm grin
Keeping his head lowered Naruto raised his eyes to look at me, cautious that I was leading him into some trap.
“Do you really like it or are you just making fun of my cooking?”
“I really do like it Naruto” I leaned over the table placing my hand atop of his reassuringly.
“That’s good to hear” he took hold of my hand and pulled me across the table to give a soft kiss on my unsuspecting lips.
Our kiss was cut short by the sound of knocking at the door, our hearts jumped into our throats. We looked at each other fear that we could be found out, present in each of our eyes.
“Who could that be?”
“I don’t know, no one ever comes to visit me, except Iruka sensei”
The knocking continued as we quickly cleaned up the plates hiding them under the kitchen sink covering them up so we could still eat it later. I quickly rushed over to the windows, pulling back the blind to reveal a quiet Konoha I turned quickly and gave Naruto a farewell kiss before disappearing out the window.
“Will you come back?”
“If you want me too?” he gave a nod as I disappeared over the roof

Naruto POV

I watched as Sasuke disappeared over the top of my roof, the knocking continued behind me. I turned my attention to the loud knocking I quickly scanned the apartment for any sign that I had Sasuke as company, once satisfied I walked over to the door opening it.
“Kakashi sensei” I let out surprised
“Well good morning Naruto” he replied as he gave one of his patented one eyed smiles
“Morning, its only 7 O’clock” I gasped
He placed a gloved hand on my orange mop of hair ruffling it as he scanned my apartment.
“Are you here alone Naruto?”
“Of course I am. Who else would be here with me?”
“Well you see I found this stray dog wandering around, when I went to pick it up it darted up here” he lied scanning the apartment once more
“There are no stray dogs here Kakashi sensei”
“Hmmm it would appear that I missed it” with that he turned to leave “Oh by the way see you both here in the morning”
I stood in the doorway confused ‘did he know that Sasuke had been here? Had he seen us together?’ I slowly closed the door as I heard the sound of light footsteps behind me, turning I saw Sasuke climbing back in through the window.
“That was close” he panted “Did he say anything?”
“I’m really not sure what he said, it was all just …” I trailed off in confusion.
I sensed Sasuke moving up behind me as he wrapped his arms around taking me into a hug. He rested his chin on my shoulders the sensation of his warm breath against my neck sent shivers of pleasure through my body, I leant my head back to get a better look at his flushed face.
“I didn’t think you’d come back so quickly”
“Well I had no choice Kakashi sensei was heading over to my apartment”
“You don’t think he saw us earlier?” Sasuke shook his head in disagreement
I place my hand on the back of his head pulling him towards my arched back neck to take his soft lips into a soft kiss. Sasuke manoeuvred me around so we were facing each other again never breaking our kiss he placed his arms around my shoulder pulling me closer against his chest.
“Let’s finish our dinner” he placed a soft kiss on my forehead as he released me and headed over to the kitchen.
We retrieved our food heating them up in the microwave, returned to the table to continue our meal, the air surrounding us less tense from our first attempt at eating alone together. I finally had the courage to look Sasuke in the eyes only taking them moving them to look down at my plate we made small talk about nothing in particular trying to keep our minds off the realisation that we each had feeling towards one another. Surprisingly Sasuke was the first to finish off his meal giving me a cocky smile I couldn’t help but smile back at his triumph, once I had finished I gathered up the plates and placed them in the kitchen sink to be cleaned.
“Naruto …. What happens now … I mean what are we suppose to do now?”
“Umm I’m not sure … but I am really tired from our training today so …” I rubbed the back of my head in uncertainty
“Well I guess I should also be getting home to sleep”
We both stood in the kitchen an awkward silence settling between us as we both tried to speak what we were thinking.
“Can I stay here tonight?” finally breaking the silence “I can sleep on your futon”
“I was hoping you’d say that” I replied giving him a wide grin



Sasuke POV

I sat on the edge of the bed awkwardly only wearing a pair of white boxers and a tee shirt which I had borrowed from Naruto, the bed shifted slightly as he crawled up behind me. I didn’t turn to check whether he was under the covers.
“So what do we do now?” I asked unsure
“Well … I have no idea … we could just sleep beside each other … what I mean …”
“I know what you mean stupid, besides I’m not sure whether we should be doing anything else” I could hear him mumble in acknowledgment.
I turned around to see him dressed in his usually long length pyjama pants with a matching white shirt as mine and his frog night cap. He looked so adorable sitting against the wall watching my back fiddling with the bed sheets I spun my legs onto the bed shifting my weight to sit beside Naruto.
“We should probably get to sleep?” I spoke awkwardly
“Yeah Kakashi-sensei will probably be here early or really late”
We continued to sit against the wall neither of us willing to move out of uncertainty of what was suppose to be happening. Out of instinct I turned to Naruto placing my hand on his cheek and turned his head towards me, he watched me confused as I leaned in and placed a kiss on his inviting lips. At first he made no attempt to return the kiss but soon became accustomed to having my mouth massaging his and returned the kiss with equal tenderness. I was the one to pull away earning a moan of disappointment from Naruto I could feel my face begin to warm as a blush began to form.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean too …” I was cut short by Naruto claiming my mouth with a rough kiss that knocked me sideways.
“Please don’t apologise Sasuke” he replied between breathes
Naruto rolled me over onto my back as he moved his legs to straddle my chest I looked up to see him staring at me awkwardly his arms resting on my chest.
“Umm Sasuke … can I put my hands up your shirt?” he stuttered from uncertainty
“Naruto I thought we were just going to sleep beside each other” he turned his head in embarrassment “Well only if I can put my hands up yours I guess” I moved my arms around his waist snaking my hands under his loose shirt
He gave me a broad smile as he slowly ran his hands up under my shirt I shivered as he moved across a ticklish area of my stomach. He leant down placing a kiss on my opened mouth as I pulled him down letting his weight rest on my chest. I moved my hands to his back running my warm hands up his soft back. I could feel him shiver from pleasure as our mouths played for dominance over the other I accidentally bit into his lower lip drawing a slight taste of blood making him flinch slightly.
“Sorry I didn’t mean too bite so hard” he gave a broad smile in reply as he wiped away the small pool of blood the sat on his lip.
“Naruto” I moved onto my elbows raising myself up slightly “I don’t think we should do… let’s just go to sleep” his face turned from happy to deject in an instance
“But…have I done something wrong?”
“No” I brushed my hand tenderly across his cheek “This isn’t a good idea, that’s all”
He ran his hand through his orange mop of hair thinking over the situation with a look of complete concentration.
“You’re right Sasuke” he rolled off me lying down next to me “I won’t…can I at least hold you until we both fall asleep”
“Of course you can stupid” I gave him a smirk as I moved to climb under the covers he quickly followed my lead climbing under the covers also.
We both lay under the covers flat on our backs not sure how the other preferred to sleep finally I rolled onto my right side making the decision. About a minute late I felt Naruto roll towards me sliding his small arm under my left arm pulling us closer together.
“Goodnight Sasuke” he mumbled as he nuzzled his head against the back of my neck
“Goodnight stupid” I could feel him smiling to my head “I’ll only say that ….”
“Don’t worry I know what you mean” he moved his other arm under my neck to embrace me completely.
