first date
(A.N: it seems Sasuke apearently feels the need to be owned by Naruto...but thats a different story all together.)
---a few days later---
As usual, team 7 was at their training grounds practicing team work, jutsu, sparing, etc. But for Sasuke, today was anything but usual. Today, he was going to seduce Naruto. Granted he was going to look like their pink haired team mate, but he was still going to get some action. It was about 4 in the afternoon when Kakashi dismissed them for the day.
Sasuke disapeared before anybody could go about asking him for a date or to spar, leaving Sakura and Naruto alone. He figured hed give it a shot, for old time sake.
"Hey Sakura, want to get some ramen with me?" Naruto asked.
"For the millionth time Naruto, no. what, you figured if you gave me a few months with out asking I'd say yes? hmmpf!" She then stormed off to find Sasuke, simply repeating the process of being told no by the person of her affection.
And so, everybody had gone their seperate ways, with Naruto staying at the training feild to work on some of his jutsu, and spar with about 30 of his clones. A couple hours later Naruto saw Sakura coming back down to the training feild.
"Hey sakura, you change your mind about the ramen? Because if you've came to gloat about getting a date, you of all people would know Ino's not here." 'seriously though, why's she here?' Naruto stated to her when he noticed she was actualy still coming down there.
"Yep, changed my mind" was all she said for a reply. though she didn't say much, he was exstatic that she finaly said yes after all the times he'd asked.
Minutes later they were at his favorite ramen stand, enjoying each others company and eating, in his oppinion, the best food in the world. After a while, Naruto paid for their meal and they got up, heading in the direction of the training grounds they had recently came from. They decided to sit under a tree and look up at the stars that were visible in the early evening sky.
Sakura leaned over twords Naruto, as if to kiss him, and whispered in his ear. "you know, if you say anything about us going on this date not only will deny it, ill look at you like your stupid and beat the shit out of you. you know that right?" she stated more than asked. He nodded to her statement, completely anoyed with her wanting to keep up the facade of going after Sasuke.
"Yea, i know. nothing new there Sakura-chan."
'I wonder if the dobe noticed its not Sakura hes talking to...what am i thinking? of course he hasn't noticed. wait, what'd he mean by nothing new there?'"good" she replied and kissed him on the cheek. "You know, I had a good time...maybe we could do this again some time?"
"Uhhh, sure!" Naruto almost exclaimed. "But aren't you in love with Sasuke?"
"Yeah, but love only goes so far, especialy one one sided love..." she paused mid-sentence to look at naruto and saw that he was looking rather introspective. " you know what I mean Naruto?"
"Yeah" was his reply as he got up and dusted himself off as he prepared to leave.
"Don't go, please" Sauske begged through his henge of Sakura, contorting the illusions face into a pout and grabbed for Naruto's hand, clasping it in his. He felt his heart skip as their hands joined.
