I will not bother describing the characters most of the time since you should already know the Naruto cast looks like, there WILL be exceptions. And remember this is a crossover/AU so just enjoy the cast of Naruto as mortal combat fighters. Enjoy.

CH 2 Test your might











(Area: Uchiha clan compound)









Sasuke walked calmly into the place he was raised and the place he ran away from so long ago, what he wouldn’t give to not be there for the reason he arrived. There they were, many members of the Uchiha clan or those that followed its teachings. It didn’t take long for the head of the clan to come and great him. “Saratobi.” He said with a polite bow. “I got your message, but I do not understand how did it happen?” The smile of the old man upon greeting his way-warred disciple disappeared at this. “He asked for an exhibition match. He battled Orochimaru himself in hopes of ending the fighting before it began.” Sasuke gritted his teeth at hearing this. “It was bad enough you tried to fill my head with this nonsense, but my brother? A simple contest fought by mortal men and women to decide the fate of the world! How can you a wise man believe this?” Saratobi simple looked at him with knowing eyes and simple said. “We all believed in this. Including your brother.” Sasuke just shook his head to this as he continued to follow the wise man.











“He has been given the dream he is the chosen one” The large crowd was in a variety of emotions from excitement, anger, envy and fear at Saratobi’s words as they looked at the man beside the wise-man the red eyes the obvious sign he is a true member of there clan. “NO!” shouted one of the other old wise men standing on the altar. “He ran from the clan the teachings and turned his back on us. Why have you come back?” Sasuke hardened his face as he stared at the angry old man. “The man who killed my brother will be at the tournament. And I’m going” He said simple “That can not be your only reason for going. Or you will fail!” Everyone was so interested in the mans next words they didn’t notice the shadow of someone walking through the crowd. Sasuke smiled. “Oh I almost forgot. WERE FIGHTING FOR THE FATE OF THE WORLD!” His last sentence shouted to the crowd so to get them excited and there excitement would end the argument. “But that is the reason you fled and left the clan isn’t it?” The crowd parted to reveal the person who talked His big straw hat covered his face and a ratty dirty brown cloak covered the rest of him. “The fate of the world is too complicated, ah but revenge is so much simpler.” He raised his head showing his face his mouth was covered by a cloth and a ninja headband on his forehead pulled at an angle so as to cover his right eye his silver hair glowed slightly from the sun coming through the weave in the hat. At the sight of this man every person save Sasuke got on there hands and knees with there heads lowered in reverence. “Lord Kakashi.” Saratobi said in awe as he continued to bow. “Kakashi?” Sasuke said in surprise but not in reverence, but in anger that someone would make this accusation and everyone believed him. “Saratobi get up this isn’t your god of thunder and lightning. He is just a beggar!” Sarutobi was scared for Sasuke as he was forcible raised to his feat by the man. “Please spare him my lord, traveling life. Has befuddled his mind. Too much television.” Kakashi smiled at that but then hardened his face as he looked over Sasuke. “So you are going to represent the clan in the tournament?” The man in question straitened to his full height “That’s right” Kakashi said simple. “Show me!” Sasuke was about to run at him when the wise-man grabbed his arm and shook his head no. “Oh don’t tell me you’re afraid of a…. simple beggar.” At this Sasuke broke free from Saratobi’s grip and ran to Kakashi and through a punch at the man. Kakashi simple grabbed his arm and with a twist Sasuke spun in the air and landed on his back. He was so surprised by the response to his punch as well as his hitting the ground that the air was knocked out of him and he could have sworn he herd thunder as he hit the ground. Sasuke was shocked as he quickly stood up watching as lighting seemed to spark in Kakasi’s right hand for brief second and then it was gone. “If you really are Kakashi then why did you let Itachi die? Why didn’t you protect him?” “Why didn’t you?” Sasuke was floored at this attack on a raw nerve. “I AM going to the tournament and find my brother’s killer. With, or without your consent.” Sasuke said as he turned and walked away. Saratobi gave a mournful sigh. “He is not ready my lord and we have lost so much time.” Kakashi just continued to look at Sasuke as he walked from sight. “I know. But there is no one else.”

Naruto slapped the truck as the signal that he had all his luggage and the limo driver could go as he looked at all the goings on around him as he stared at his luggage wondering how he was going to carry them all on the boat he noticed someone coming towards him giving him a idea. “Hey!” Naruto said stopping the guy with black hair and red eyes that looked like there three dots around the iris of both eyes. “You want to make a little money.” He said this while holding a 20. “Just load the luggage on the boat when it gets here.” Sasuke just looked at the guy. “You want ME to carry your luggage?” “Yeah. I pay you money and you carry the bags or is that to complicated?” Sasuke smiled as he took the blonde mans money. “No. I got it.” With that Sasuke picked up all the luggage except one bag walked to the end of the pier looked down at the water below and dropped it all into the ocean and turned to Naruto showed him the 20 and smiled. “Thanks.” He said while walking away. Naruto just looked down at his luggage as it sank into the water the only one left clutched in his hand. “Thank god I didn’t ask him to park the car.” The blonde said as the last of the air bubbles broke on the surface









“There is no saying that guy wasn’t lying his ass off.” Lee said as Ino continued to look through a pair of night vision binoculars. “Oh he’s hear alright. I can feel it” Rock Lee just sighed and looked on ahead wondering why there was a group of people forming at the empty dock.





Then they saw it. A boat broke through the mist slowly gliding to the dock. “You got to be kidding me.” Naruto said looking at the figure head of the boat shaped like a fox head. Its eyes glowed and with the wind it almost sounded like it was growling the boat itself was ancient It’s sails were shredded making him wonder how it was moving.



“Here I come.” Sasuke said to himself as the plank was lowered allowing people on to the boat.



With all the metal work going on the docks there were a lot of sparks, one group of sparks illuminated enough of the darkness to show Ino the very man she was hunting. Kabuto smiled as he saw from a distance Ino finally noticed him. “Come on. Come to papa.” He quietly said to himself. “That’s him!” she shouted as she slammed the binoculars into Lees hand and ran after Kabuto who was boarding the boat. “Ino don’t get on that thing! Hey Ino!” Lee tried to call out to Ino but she was already out of sight. And the boat was beginning to leave.

Naruto saw him not long after the boat left. The asshole that dropped the luggage in the water “Hey you owe…..” He said while heading towards Sasuke but he was stopped when someone plowed into him forcing him it to the railing of the ship. Naruto was furious as he pushed back at the guy that shoved him. “Listen buddy but….” He stopped as he turned towards the guy to find it was a girl a VERY attractive girl, an attractive girl that had a gun place on his chin. “…..that is a nice gun.” Naruto finished his hands raised slightly to show he was not a threat. Ino looked at the man she had a gun on and the guy walking towards her. They didn’t look like trouble but maybe they knew were Kabuto was “Has any of you seen a guy with a metal plate over one side of his face” she said lowering her gun but not holstering it. “Sorry haven’t seen him. But I can help you look if you want.” Naruto stated giving a grin. “No thanks!” Ino said walking away deflating the smile from his face. Sasuke just walked up to Naruto. “Just another star-struck fan.” Grinned Sasuke as he left to follow the girl.







Ino passed through the door way into the deeper reassesses of the ship she looked around at the shadows of the room she started to walk to the other door in the room when she saw him standing there as if he was there the whole time. “Hello Ino, can I help you?” Orochimaru said in a smooth voice. Ino just held the gun at him ready to fire, unlike the other guys on the boat this guy was trouble. “I’m looking for a murderer. He boarded this boat.” Orochimaru just continued to grin. “I know of no murders on the boat, but this is my ship and I’d be happy to give you a personal tour.” The snake-like man said taking a step towards her. “Back off from the nice lady, she’s just doing her job.” Naruto said walking till he was beside Ino’s left, Sasuke showing up at her right. “When I need backup I’ll radio for it.” Ino sounded irritated but she was vary glad someone showed up to help her. The door on the other side of the room opened two people walking through. “Got that radio handy?” Naruto said nervously. The two that just showed up did not look pleasant. One of them wore a pitch-black ripped poncho the hood covering the most of his face his mouth was covered by a strange breathing apparatus. His right hand wore a nasty gantlet of sharp claws the wrist and arm of it was wrapped in chains (He is one of the Demon brother guys who attacked Naruto’s group on there first real mission {the show}) the second one had a bone white mask covering his face he wore traditional Japanese garb. “Assassin and Haku the deadliest of enemies but slaves under my power” Orochimaru said proudly as Haku walked up to Ino and Sasuke. “Freeze!” Ino she pointing her gun at the masked man. Haku quickly grabbed the barrel of the gun ice forming over the part he held and with a slight pull snapped off the frozen part of the gun leavening Ino with a useless weapon in her hand Assassin stood facing Naruto his gauntlet hand cocked back his palm held out. Slowly the sharp point of the chain came out of a hole at the wrist. And just as it was about to fire lightning came from behind Ino, Naruto and Sasuke striking Assassin and Haku pining them to the wall for a second before they hit the ground unconscious a large portion of lightning stayed behind the others quickly forming into Kakashi gone was the look of a beggar, he was in full ninja garb and vest his headband pulled up raveling the other eyes looked exactly like both of Sasukes his hand still sparked menacingly with lightning. “ENOUGH!!” Kakashi’s voice boomed. “Lord Kakashi. How good of you to grace us with your…..presents.” Orochimaru said with a bow “How dare your sideshow freaks attack my fighters! That is expressly forbidden before the tournament. As your kage well knows.” Orochimaru simply stood there. “My apologies. Wont happen again I assure you.” He said but was really thinking that his chance to kill Sasuke before the tournament had failed. “I shale see to that personally.” “But of course, until we reach the island were you have no dominion.” “My dominions are well known to me sorcerer. Thank you.” Ino couldn’t take it anymore and shouted. “What tournament?” Orochimaru who had been infuriated by Kakashi’s arrival smiled more then ever. “You have been chosen Ino. Much to my delight.” With that he walked through the door his minion came through a few moments ago. Sasuke turned to Kakashi. “You really are Kakashi.” He said as if waiting to be contradicted. “Come with me.” Was all he said before turned into a ball of lightning and went through the door outside.





“You got one guy with things coming out of his hands, you got another guy who freezes stuff, and another guy who for all I know is made out of electricity. I mean who are these guys? What is going on hear?” Naruto ranted as they walked out on to the deck of the boat. “Lets calm down, I’m shore there is a rational explanation to all this.” Ino said to Naruto as she turned to Sasuke. “He is Kakashi. God of lightning and protector of the realm of earth.” Sasuke said as if it was common knowledge. “Oh There is your rational explanation.” Naruto through his hands in the air for emphasis to his statement. “Listen!” Kakashi said getting there attention. So they would turn to look at him as he sat on one the crates placed around the ships deck. What you are about to face is vastly more important then….Your ego….” He looked at Naruto. “….Your enemy….” He turned to look at Ino. “…Or your need for revenge.” He then looked to Sasuke. “You have been asked to embark on a sacred mission to protect the realm of earth in a contest known as Shinobi Combat.” “Protect it from what?” was the only thing Ino could think to say. Kakashi stood up and began the circle the three. “Your world is only one of many realms, another is forsaken world called Sound ruled by an immortal who has crowned himself kage. Now he seeks a new world to concur and enslave.” “Wait a minute. If this guy is so powerful why doesn’t he just invade us?” Naruto asked witch was agead to by a nod from Ino. “To enter the realm of earth the kages demon sorcerer Orochimaru and his fighters must win ten straght victories of Shinobi Combat. They have won nine; this will be the tenth tournament.” “A handful of people on a leaky boat are going to save the world.” Ino said sarcastically. “Exactly.” Kakashi agreed. “The essence of Shinobi Combat is not about death but life. Mortal men and women protecting there own realm.” “Why are you telling us this? What about the others?” Ino said referring to the other fighters on the boat. “They are all great fighters. But I have looked into there souls; and yours. One of you three will decide the outcome of the tournament.” Sasuke couldn’t stay quite any longer. “What about Orochimaru?” Kakashi just looked at Sasuke and sighed. “Still blinded by vengeance, if you were to fight Orochimaru now you would lose the match and your soul.” Sasuke growled in defeat. “He will pay for my brother’s death.” He said sternly. “You’re not ready.” At this the sky was aglow as colors flashed in the night sky. “It has started.” Kakashi said in recognition as the other three looked at this strange occurrence.







Images of skulls and snakes swirled around him as Orochimaru stood in the crows nest his hands raised to the sky as the visions spun around him blaketed by an arora. “It has begun he called out to the heavens and an image of a very imposing man that seemed to nod in approval to this announcement.”
