Chapter 2- Separation

Maxwell and Naruto were on their way to the Hokage for their mission briefing, they were walking through the streets hand in hand. No one said anything or tried to say anything, actually just about everyone was happy for them. Lee and Gaara were walking by but stopped when they saw Naruto.

“Naruto!!!”

“Uh-oh.” Lee ran towards Naruto and bear hugged him choking all the air out of him.

“Congratulations.”

“Thank……you………Lee, but……can I breathe now?” Naruto said as he tried to get his breathe back after Lee put him down.

“Sorry.”

Gaara walked up behind Lee and grabbed his hand.

“Lee you gotta be careful with that strength of yours.” Gaara said as he kissed Lee on the forehead.

“Sorry Gaara-kun.” Gaara went up and shook both Naruto and Maxwell’s hand.

“Yeah Congrats.”

“So where are you guys headed to.”

“To the Hokage for our mission briefing.”

“Well we won't hold you any longer, we’ll see you guys later.”

“Alright Lee, Gaara.”

They parted ways and made it to the Hokage’s door.

“Do we really have to see this old hag.” Maxwell laughed at Naruto and patted him on the shoulder.

“Naruto I know you and Tsunade don’t get along but the quicker we get done with our mission the quicker you don’t have to worry about seeing Tsunade for a while okay.”

“Okay.” Maxwell kissed Naruto on the forehead and hugged him.

“Please just this once, for me.”

“Okay, but if she starts mouthing off at me.”

“Don’t worry Naruto.”

Maxwell opened the door and entered followed by Naruto. Tsunade turn around in her chair and put the pipe she was holding in her mouth on her desk.

“Maxwell I had news you had come back it’s good to see you again.”

“You to Tsunade-sama.”

“Naruto-kun.”

“Tsnade-sama.”

“Alright you are each going on a different mission.”

“What?!” Naruto yelled clearly pissed at this point Maxwell spoke after calming Naruto down.

“Why Tsunade-sama.”

“Both missions are top priority but we don’t have time to do them one by one.”

“I see.”

“Naruto you will have to go to the Village of the Hidden Sound to investigate negotiations they are having with a rouge group of ninjas from the Village of Sand, find out any and all information you can.”

“Yes Hokage.”

“Maxwell , you are being sent to investigate disturbances throughout the Village hidden in the Mist, find out who is causing the disturbances and stop them.”

“Yes Hokage.”

“Oh, and Maxwell if you can see if you can bring one of the bandits back for interrogation, Ibiki said he needs something to do.”

“Yes Hokage.”

“You have your missions dismissed.”

Maxwell and Naruto walked out the door, then left to Maxwell’s apartment. Maxwell went to his closet and was about to open it until Naruto grabbed his arm.

“Uh, Maxwell.”

“Yes, Naruto.”

“Do you have some extra kunai and shurikens?”

“Yeah.” Maxwell opened his closet to an assortment of different weapons from Muramasas and Katanas to kunai and shurikens. Naruto’s jaw dropped in amazement. Maxwell turned around and saw Naruto’s facial expression and smirked.

“I know I’m sexy but it’s not nice to stare.” Maxwell went inside the closet handed Naruto all the kunai and shuriken he needed, then he pulled out a needle with some kind of blue ooze in it.

“What’s that needle for?”

“I’ll tell you……soon.”

“Aw, come on.”

“Okay how about this if you get done with your mission before me I’ll tell you what it’s for okay.”

“Okay.”

Maxwell grabbed his swords and closed his closet. They both went to the front gate and walked out of Konoha.

“See you soon.”

“Hope so, but remember if I finish my mission before you me, you tell me what that needle is for.”

“I promise I will.”

Maxwell moved over to Naruto and wrapped his arms around the blonde’s waist as Naruto wrapped is arms around the silver haired shinobi’s neck and kissed him passionately licking the top of Maxwell’s tongue not wanting to stop until Naruto broke the kiss. Then they parted ways to go on their missions. Back at the Hokage’s office Tsunade picked up the phone and dialed a number and waited for someone to answer.

“Tsunade-sama.”

“I need two ANBU specialists.”

“Yes Hokage what shall they do for you?”

“I need one to follow Naruto and the other Maxwell.”

“You think they won’t survive.”

“No, I just got a bad feeling about these missions so hurry and send them, but, make sure they stay as far away from them as possible especially Maxwell he can catch on pretty fast, I’ll give you their locations.”

“Yes Hokage.” She hung up the phone and turned back around in her.

“I just hope nothing bad happens to those two.”

Well that’s chapter 2 its short I know but soon Chapter 3 will be up and you gonna love it but its gonna take me awhile to type Chapter 3 cause it is a long chapter, but like I said leave a comment, review, and do what you do best.
