Rise Of The Fox Shinobi

Chapter Two: Fox in smoke

Naruto smiled and walked over to his old friend, Gaara of the sand the two powerful shinobi had built a strong friendship. They had gotten even closer over the past few years when Temari and the that lazy ass Shikamaru married, the idiot was even late for his own wedding. Naruto had to chuckle beside himself, he had shared a joke with Gaara that in Skikamaru's House he was the women in the relationship and Temari the man.

"Gaara what brings you here ?" Gaara looked around and than back to him "my village was attacked as well, Everyone is dead.....at the time i was training in the temple when i was informed by a dying Genin", Naruto sighed. "damn..i guess we have to slaughter eveyone here..and take there souls for once", Gaara noded, and glanced over at the tallest building in the leaf, Hokage Tower and the lair of Shoa Khan.

His long red hair caught the wind, and with a smiled he turned to face Naruto, who was removing his orange and black coat throwing it aside, "it weights me down and i need all the agility i need", Gaara nob-ed removing his own coat and vest, and did something he had never done himself he place his Sand village forehead protector on his forehead, and smiled a smug grin "Naruto....we may die today..but lets murder everyone we can in the process" Naruto walked over to the sand shinobi and together they faced the tower in all its glory, for it once stood for peace and strength, but now it stood as a reminder of a world that had changed forever.

The powerful figure of Shao Khan stood viewing his new conquered kingdom, when his messenger arrived, the ninja clad in red stood without movment in respect to his all powerful lord. "Victory is glorious!!..and i have brought honer to my name once more is that right! Reiko?" The ninja knelt down "yes..my lord..i bring you new of the nine tails shinobi", Khan smiled with his skull mask, and looked over at his Commander

"really..than what is the news?", Reiko stood "He has made it to the village and has defeated Scorpion, but also another has joined his party", Khan gleamed "who?" , Reiko knelt down once more "Gaara of the sand..a powerful shinobi of a kingdom we recently took....", Khan cheered "YESS!!..at last a powerful foe for me to vanquish...send men to honer them..i wanna test them, just to see how powerful they really are" Reiko smiled and quickly left Khans new throne room.

Khan turned to face the young women he had taken captive, her long blue locks and white eyes made even himself spechless at times "So..this Naruto is your hero, the nine tails shinobi" Hinata looked away her arms and legs bound, Khan walked over to her and took her chin forcing her to look into his sadistic eyes "Your gift is an amazing one..to see a persons body in such a manner.. it would be priceless in combat, i will make you my bride...but not until i have taken your heros soul!".

Hinata winced and again looked away, tears filling her eyes, Khan without a word returned to his throne and sat, that's when a figure appeared next to him standing at his right side "Lord....i want to face this Naruto myself...please", Khan nods and the figure vanishes, but not before " I will face him near the tower", Khan agrees.

Naruto and Gaara race towards the center of town, this faces locked in determination. As the two entered the area around Naruto's Favorite Ramon shop, a Shuriken striking a sign stoped the pair cold, "i was wondering when i would get to have some more fun, don't you agree Gaara" Yelled Naruto looking up at the sinister pair on the rooftop, The two warriors stood in silence, "i'm....Noob Saibot " said the assassin clad in shadows, his partner smiled and looked down at Garra

"your soul is mine!, I'm Shang Tsung..and your Gaara of the sand...die!!", Gaara looked up at Shang Tsung and yawned "Whatever" mocked Gaara, Naruto launched himself into the air and hit the roof with his powerful Rasengan, wood and glass shattered sending it flying in all directions, Saibot jumped across the ally and over to another roof, When Naruto attacked him from behind.


they instantly locked hands. Gaara and Shang Tsung stood in the street below in a stare down, there eyes locked. Clones of Naruto kept the assassin covered while Naruto stood back watching, his confidence as a ninja had changed for the better, he knew self control better than ever, Saibot instantly killed all of Narutos clones, now wielding a duel pair of ice knives, "fool..I'm Lin Kuei , ice is my power!", Naruto's eyes widened at Saibot launched himself at him, Naruto dodged but not fast enough a wound apeared on both shoulders, and blood trickling down his arms.


"damn..i underestamated you...well..that sucks.." said Naruto takeing a few steps back, Saibot chuckled, and attacked again, but this time Naruto was ready, and created another clone to take all the damage as he evaded Saibots murderous advances, Naruto countered with a Kunai across Saibots chest, the impact of the wound sent the Assassin back a few yards, "...your good..ninja..but i'll kill you soon enough", Gaara was busy with Shang Tsung, the evil sorcerer, kept bringing the dead back to life to attack him, but Gaara's Sand made them perfect graves, "SAND COFFIN!!" Yelled Gaara as his sand finished off the last hord of living dead, made by Tsung.

Gaara had to smile his powers where strong even without that demon inside him, "ok..time to pay for your sins Sorcerer", Chuckled Gaara as he sent a massive wall of Sand at Shang Tsung, But to Gaaras horror, Tsung charged and went the the wall and nailed the sand Shinobi witha powerful right hook, blood splattered out of his nose and Gaara few back, and hit a nearby wall, "Fool..your soul is mine now..your finished", Naruto had his hands full at that moment, Saibot had sent a massive number of ice missiles at his body, all barely missed.

"Damn..this guy is strong" muttered Naruto only to be hit with a round-house kick, which sent the fox ninja flying back and landing on the other side of the roof. "ok..ok..ok..I'm going to rip your head off now..bastard!" shouted Naruto as the ninja slowly got to his feet, and Saibots eyes narrowed, the shinobi now had a glowing tail of red energy. "What is that?" Asked Saibot pointing at Naruto's tail, Naruto looked behind him to see his tail, Saibot smiled and send a ball of ice at Naruto, the nin, was instantly frozen solid "VICTORY!!" Roared Saibot.

Gaara heard and knelt down, he had only gotten up moments ago, and now his only friend left in this would was dead, Shang Tsung laughed with pure mockery. Gaara sensed the opening and summon a sword of sand and slashed at the sorcerers chest, the blade of sand instantly carved threw the body and sent the figure flying in half, Saibot looked down in horror and than glared at Gaara "how dare you kill him!, die!!". Just as Saibot summon another ice ball, a ear splitting scream shattered the icey tomb of Naruto, and Saibot turn to face the figure of a very feral looking Naruto "...i'm back and i always keep my word!", Saibot, slowly steped back, only to be slamed to the roof, with a powerful force of Narutos arm, "..i..i...for..give...m..e.." gasped Saibot, Narutos eyes narrowed "if you want forgiveness, find Religion", Naruto grabed Saibots Head and twisted it off.

Naruto looked down at Gaara, and smiled giving him the Good Guy Pose, "Sorry about making you worry...i need a breather", Gaara smiled and chuckled again "your amazing Naruto, but lets keep our quest inmind shall we ?", Naruto noded and jumped to the stree below, landing next to Gaara, "good job murdering that dude..nice Move in doing so", laughed Naruto, Gaara summoned his Sand sword, and showed it off "i learned it years ago", the pair raced off again.
