all music stop and three pairs of eyes turn towards the speaker.
“This is the 8th time you made us stop and start the fucking song all over again Uzumaki! If you can't sing then go-”
“I want to sing this song!!! And if your dumbass doesn't get it or understands why I want to sing it then shut the fuck up Uchiha.”
dark eyes narrowed and before the blond understood what was going on he was against a wall holding his left cheek. Hurt blue eyes look into dark onyx ones. He saw something in those dark eyes for a moment, but as soon as it came, whatever that feeling was, it disappear.
“Ok, that's enough!! Sasuke, go cool off. We still got to finish practicing the song you guys will be singing tonight.”
the raven haired boy said nothing and walked off, heading towards the exit, not once looking back at the blond. He shut his eyes and shook his head trying to shake off the image of those hurtful eyes that had stared at him. He had wanted to go back in there and tell the long haired blond how sorry he was, but once again his pride got in the way.
“Are you ok Naruto???”
the blond simply nodded and leaned against the wall, slidding down into a sitting position he smile up at the silver haired man.
“I'm ok Kakashi, this always happens, get use to it. Neji, Shika...I'm sorry.”
Neji smile and knelt next to the blond, grabbing his hand and taking it away from the bruised cheek. The long haired brunette wanted to make sure his friend was ok.
“It's ok Uzumaki. You should put some ice on that if you want it to be better for tonight.”
Shikamaru sigh and walked out the door, he was seriously getting tire of all this. He turn his head for a moment to look at the back of Neji's head.
Uzumaki
not once had they called each other by their first name but every now and then when Naruto said it, it made him feel as though they were still a band. As though they were still friends.
We're so pathetic it's troublesome.
He thought as he exited the building, looking around for a quiet spot to safely smoke his cigarette. Not once did he noticed the silver white eyes following his movement as he walked out the recording studio.
“I-I should go Uzumaki. Call us when practice is back in section.”
with that the long haired brunette made his exit. Azure blue orbs stared at his back, silently telling him and the other to come back, to not to leave him all alone again.
“All four of you are so pathetic! Also, if you're feelings are really getting in the way, then I advice you to not sing that song. After all.... that was the song Sasuke wrote for you, wasn't it?”
Flashback
“hey there Naru-chan...”
“eep!”
a raven haired boy blink as he saw his friend with a hand over his heart, a scare look on his blue eyes.

Naruto's left eye twitch, pointedly looking at Sasuke with a death threat in his eyes. He sigh and turn around to see Haku standing there, a goofy smile on his girly face.
“Yea Haku???”
“Did you heard? Did you heard? Did you heard?!?!?!”
the blond blink stupidly, not knowing what to said as his friend kept jumping up and down like a kangaroo.

“Shika asked Ino out!! It was so cute and romantic!! Aaaaawwwww!!!”
blue eyes widened at the news, an image of a hurt and crying Neji appeared in his mind. He shut his locker and made a run for the roof. He needed to make sure the long haired rave was ok and not thinking of doing something stupid.
“Naruto!!!”
said boy turn around in mid-run, panting he waited for Sasuke to catch up with him. The dark haired teen stopped right in front of him, their faces only inches apart.
“Y-yea???”
dark onyx eyes stared into bright blues ones. Just a little closer and he would be able to feel those lips. He sigh and took a step back, smiling at the confused look the blond was giving him.
“I wrote a new song for us. Read it and tell me what you think about it later.”
Naruto took the piece of paper from the raven and watch him turn around and head towards where the Student Council room was. He look down at the neatly folded piece of white paper and unfolded it, smiling as he read the title.

wide blue eyes read the lyrics over and over until a wide grin spread across his face. He folded the paper once again and put it in his pockets, turning around and heading towards the roof in hopes of finding Neji there.

he remembered he had found Neji crying against the fence. He had told the brunette to just let it go and Neji had asked him a question that to this day, he still remembers as clearly as if had been yesterday.
“:If you were in my shoe....would you let Sasuke go??:”
He wonder when was it that they all had started drifting apart from each other? When was it when all their bonds started shattering into such small pieces it was hard to put back together. When!!
“Kakashi, in ten minutes call the others and tell them I'm ok now.... that I'm ready to sing.”
the silver haired man just stared at him for a good minute before nodding his head. He took out his silver cell phone and dial the first number on his list which happen to be Shikamaru's.

Lifeless dark eyes stared into nothingness, it was as though they were searching for something or someone that could understand him. He was snap out of his daze when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
Taking it out he noticed it was Kakashi calling him, meaning that the blond was finally ready to keep on singing.
“I'm on my way.”
'Good, and Sasuke, try not to be too-”
the line was cut off before Kakashi finish saying whatever it was he was going to say. He had a pretty good idea though.
“It's all his fault our lives have changed so much.”
