You Cannot See Love

“Alright, I’ll go put this in some alcohol to sterilize and have our piercer Sasuke come out and tell you how this is gonna go down” said Neji as he took the lip ring out of the display and walked through the back door.

Naruto sat down in a chair and stared at the door that read “Employees Only” and waited patiently.


Naruto tapped his foot along with the Senses Fail song now playing, “Choke On This”

Half smoked cigarettes and you’re the trash that infests my sheets.

Naruto picked up a magazine with a picture of Amy Winehouse on the cover. He began to flip through the magazine looking at various adds about alcohol, cigarettes, guitars, and anything else Rolling Stone would promote. He was a bit nervous about the piercing and now rather that tapping his foot was shaking nervously. He tried to take his mind off of it but everywhere he looked were pictures of piercing that just kept on reminding him. Naruto was very afraid of needles, ever since he was a child. Nothing could really scare him except needles, go figure, but I suppose everyone’s afraid of something.

The “Employees Only” door handle clicked and began to turn. Naruto’s heart pounded in his chest as he knew the time for his piercing was approaching.

Sasuke’s P.O.V.

After a hard day of work the last thing Sasuke wanted to do was have to do another piercing at this hour. He had already been ready to leave until Neji unexpectedly said they had a customer. Sasuke sighed as he took off his coat and grabbed the key to his piercing room laying down his backpack. He opened the door and saw the sexiest boy he had ever seen. He was somewhat short but still average height with beautiful semi-long blond hair. He was very tan with deep, deep blue, innocent eyes. He was wearing a black My Chemical Romance T-shirt and a pair or worn ripped jeans. He was looking a little startled, almost like a deer in the headlights. For some reason this made the boy look ever more fuckable. Sasuke almost got a nose bleed from the mere sight of him, but being Sasuke he knew how to keep his cool.

Back to Naruto’s P.O.V.

The door opened and out stepped the sexiest guy Naruto had ever seen. He was tall and thin, yet very toned. He was pale but it looked good on him almost like a subtle glow. His eyes were deep and charcoal black and they seemed to look right into your soul. His hair was black and raven like spiked up perfectly with face framing pieces softly outlining his face. He was wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans and a black wife beater cut at the side that was very revealing. Naruto got even more nervous at seeing Sasuke. He was so handsome; he really didn’t know how he was supposed to act so he just sat there like a deer in the headlights with Sasuke observing him.

“Hello…” Sasuke looked down at the piece of paper in his hands. “Naruto… Are you ready?”

Naruto nodded.

“Alright then follow me” replied Sasuke.

Sasuke led Naruto to the second door down the hallway and unlocked it turning on the lights and holding the door open for Naruto.

The room was a lot like a doctor’s office. There was a chair and one of those bed type things. On the wall were more posters of piercings. There was a flat surface that the chair was positioned under and there were gloves on top and lots of drawers labeled “sterilization”, “Needles”, “Numbing ointment”, and so on. Sasuke motioned towards the chair.

Naruto stepped in and nervously sat down in the chair. Sasuke sat down in the other chair and said something that sounded very rehearsed.

“First off, I’m going to put this greenish lotion on your lip where the piercing will be. Next I will mark where it will be with a nontoxic marker. When I tell you to I want you to begin to breathe in your nose and out your mouth. Try to relax. If you feel any overwhelming discomfort tell me and I will stop immediately and you may have a full refund. If you feel squeamish also let me know so I can get you proper assistance. First I will Pierce your lip with a sterilized needle. It should not hurt badly; however your breathing will most likely become shaky, this is normal. After that I will quickly insert the lip ring. It will bleed slightly and it will be sore for a few days. Any questions?” Said Sasuke.

“I’ll be al….alright…” Said Naruto sounding unsure once again.

“Alright then lets get started.” Said Sasuke as he opened the drawer labeled sterilization. He took out a jar and swabbed a q-tip in it and rubbed the lotion onto Narutos lower left part of his lip.

“Alright now, I want you to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, you will feel a slight prick but just focus on breathing in and out.” Sauke repeated himself in a soothing voice. “In and out. In and out. In and out.” He paused. Naruto closed his eyes.

“Alright now deep breath in, relax. Breath out and here comes a little prick” said Sasuke and unknowingly Naruto put his hand onto Sasuke's knee and squeezed lightly. Sasuke almost lost focus.

Sasuke then stuck the needle through Naruto’s lip. Naruto's breath became shaky and panicked. Narutos body began to shake but he kept his eyes closed tight. Sasuke stuck the lip ring in.

“There we go all done” said Sasuke.

Naruto opened his eyes and he looked still a bit shaken.

“Naruto…Are you ok?” said Sasuke looking at him worriedly. Sasuke and done this a lot before but never to someone so cute and now he was afraid he may have hurt his cute customer.

Naruto didn’t respond.

“Here I’ll help you up” said Sasuke reaching out a hand.

Naruto took Sasuke's hand and got up. He was still shaking and feeling a bit sick.

“Are you ok Naruto? Are you feeling squeamish?” Asked Sasuke still concerned.

Naruto nodded his head.

Sasuke helped Naruto to the bathroom.


“I’m so sorry I really didn’t mean to be such a baby about it” Said Naruto as he stood in the waiting room after paying.

“Don’t worry, this is my job and I deal with this all the time.” He said unphased.

“Alright, but I’m still really sorry” Said Naruto.

Sasuke handed him his change. “Don’t worry about it.” He said.

“Goodbye” said Naruto.

Sasuke waved.

Naruto stepped outside the store.

GODS! I’m such a loser. What an impression I made… Well there goes my chances… Oh well… I probably wont see him again anyways… I’m so embarrassed… And… Hungry… [A/N: Leave it to Naruto to think of food at a time like this XD]
I think I’ll go get some ramen.

Naruto continued down the road towards the ramen shop.
