The Fox Hunt

Warning: Naruto acts slightly OOC.

"Naruto?" Naruto thought he heard Kiba. "What the fuck did you do to him?" Yep that was Kiba.



"Nothing to which he should have this reaction." Sasuke. 'That bastard, how dare he do that to me'



'I told you he liked you Kit.'



'Yeah but I never expected him to do that.'



'It was just a kiss.'



Naruto heard yelling, but he couldn't understand the words that were being said. He blinked a couple times and opened his eyes and regained focus just as Kiba, with Haku trying to stop him, punched Sasuke in the face.



"Sasuke!" Ino and Sakura called in unison. Naruto stood up, causing everyone to look at him, realising he was awake.



"Are you okay Naruto?" Hinata asked in her small voice.



"I'm fine you guys. Believe it!" He punched his fist in the air and turned towards Sasuke who was sporting a bloody nose. "Um, your nose is kinda bleeding." Sasuke rose a hand to his face touching the blood.



Sasuke turned towards Kiba and was about to hit him when Gaara stepped inbetween them. Kiba then went over to Naruto and grabbed his wrist. "Come on Naruto, we're leaving."



Naruto started to protest but Gaara covered his mouth with his hand so he couldn't be heard. The group of five left saying quick goodbyes. They all hustled Naruto out of the door and he was once again thrust into Kiba's truck.



"I'm sorry Naruto. I shouldn't have made you come. I had no idea he'd do that." Kiba went on with his apology until they reached Naruto's apartment. The blonde dove out of the car eager to get away from his friends. Doing this he sucessfully forgot his outfit that he was wearing earlier. He ran to his front door, unlocking it and bursting inside. He grabbed his backpack and started shoving stuff in it not intending to sleep at his house that night.



He needed to talk to Sasuke and the sooner, the better. After locking the door, he hopped onto his bike and pedaled like a mad man towards the Uchiha mansion. Once he got there he rang the bell and waited impatiently for Sasuke to anwser. When the door finally opened, Naruto looked Sasuke right in the eyes. Sasuke was holding an icepack to his nose, but it had stopped bleeding.



"I'm sorry about Kiba. He gets a little over protective sometimes." Naruto said in a feeble voice.



Sasuke smiled. "Worse things have happened."



Naruto's eyes started to water. "But it was my fault! If I hadn't reacted like I did, you wouldn't be in this situation."



Sasuke looked at Naruto in surprise. "It's okay fox. It's my fault. I shouldn't have kissed you like that."



*Flashback*



The door had barely closed before Sakura had started to yell. "Sasuke how could you do that to Naruto!?! You totally raped his mouth!"



Ino grabbed Sakura's arm. "He didn't rape Naruto's mouth. It was just a kiss."



"But Naruto didn't agree."



"You can't rape someone with your tounge. Well, you can, but not the way Sasuke did it."



"Whatever, I'm leaving." And with that Sakura turned and walked out the door. Everyone else followed her out, until Sasuke was alone once more.



"Fuck!" Sasuke slammed his fist into the wall, leaving a slight indent. "Why did I do that? It's like I was Itachi." Sasuke shivered, not wanting to compare himself to his brother.



*End flashback*



Sasuke looked at Naruto. "Come inside before you freeze your ass off." Naruto slowly went into the house. Sasuke closed the door behind them, turning and noticing the backpack. "Naruto, what's with the backpack?"



Naruto turned and started to anwser but was cut off by Sasuke. "You were going to ask to spend the night weren't you?"



"No, I want to talk to you and this stuff is in case we talk for a long time."



"Okay. But you have to stay the night if you want to talk to me."



Naruto stood shocked. 'Crap, he's not giving me any choices here. I have to talk to him though. This can't happen again.'



Naruto frowned. "Fine."



Sasuke looked at Naruto semi-shocked. 'Wow, whatever he wants must be really important.' "You sure?"



Naruto blushed, slightly angry. "Yes I'm sure! I want to talk to you damnit! Don't be a bastard!"



"Hn." Sasuke turned and started walking towards his room. Naruto closed the door and followed him. The older teen

walked to his room, the blonde following behind him. When they entered the room, Naruto set his bag on a chair and pulled out his pajamas.



"Um, where's the bathroom?" Sasuke pointed towards a door with a towel on it. "Thanks." Naruto walked in, closing the door behind him. He pulled off his black shirt and slipped on the blue pj top, buttoning it up. He then pulled down his shorts, stepping out of them. He then pulled on the blue pajama bottoms. Finally, he put on his night cap. He collected his clothes and opened the door he came out of. He looked around the room but couldn't find the raven haired teen.



He put his clothes back into his pack and looked around the room once more. "Sasuke?" When he heard no response, he stepped into the hall and stopped to look at the pictures on the wall. One looked like a picture of Sasuke and his immediate family to Naruto. It showed Sasuke, a boy who looked older then him and angry, and two adults behind them. The women was smiling and had her hand on Sasuke's shoulder and the man looked as unhappy as the older boy.

"I wonder where they all are," Naruto said, mostly to himself.



"Well, the two adults, my parents, are dead. They died in a car crash. My brother, Itachi, ran off somewhere. I don't care where that is as long as it's away from me."



Naruto whipped around at the sound of Sasuke's voice. "Where the fuck did you go!?!"



"Relax dobe, I just went to the kitchen for some water. No need to freak out or anything."



"Whatever teme. You don't just leave your guest alone in your big empty house while you go get water!"



"Well sor-ry, I'm not used to having people here."



"Well maybe you should get used to it."



Sasuke decided to end the argument and shut Naruto up. He moved forward, pressing the blonde against the wall. "Um, Sasuke?" Naruto asked feebly.



"You need to learn to shut up fox." And with that Sasuke moved his head forward and down slightly, catching Naruto's lips. The younger teen kept his mouth shut tight, determined to keep Sasuke out. The latter licked and nipped at the blonde's lips trying to get him to open his mouth. The tan teen then punched the older teen in the gut, causing him to double over in pain. Naruto seized his chance and ran towards the stairs, leaving his things in Sasuke's room.



Naruto raced down the stairs and out the front door to where his bike was sitting. He hopped on and pedaled away fast. 'My keys are in my backpack. Shit. Guess I'm going to Kiba's.' Naruto changed course and started off towards Kiba's small house.



When he arrived there he practically banged the brunette's door down. "Kiba! Let me in! Quickly before Uchiha gets here!" He continued to bang until the door opened.



"What happened to you?" Naruto looked up and saw a shirtless Kiba.



"Well, I went over to Sasuke's to talk to him. Then he had the nerve to go and kiss me again, so I punched him in the stomach and ran out, leaving me keys in his room," Naruto managed to say in one breath. He looked at haku who had just walked up, his clothes obviously thrown on and his hair messy. Then it registered in Naruto's mind that Kiba wasn't wearing a shirt. His cheeks turned pink. "Oh... sorry, is this a bad time?"



Kiba smirked at Naruto's new found discomfort. "Yeah, but we'll live. You owe us though."



"Okay, you got it. I'll do anything to make this up to you guys."



Haku smiled. "Don't worry Naruto, we'll think of something."



The trio walked back inside, closing the door behind them. Shortly after, there was a knock on said door. "Shit," Kiba whispered. "Naruto, go hide. Haku, unbutton your shirt and mess up your hair more." Naruto ran off to hide in the next room so he could still hear what was being said. Haku did as Kiba told him and stepped behind Kiba. Once the latter thought everything was ready he opened the door, a scowl on his face. He opened the door ready to be angry when he saw who was on the other side his expression changed and he opened the door wider.



"Are we disrupting something?" Nej asked timidly



"No, this was to fool Uchiha. And dude, you sound like your cousin when you talk like that."



"Why do you need to fool the prick?" Gaara asked.



"He kissed Naruto again."



"Oh great," Neji said. "Where is he?" That's when Naruto stepped out from the other room.



Gaara looked at him. "You idiot, why'd you go over there?"



Naruto started to stammer. "W-well, I wa-anted to tal-lk to h-him ab-bout wh-hat hap-ppen-ned."



"Naruto n-no one can understand you." Kiba said laughing.



"What were you guys doing when he kissed you?" Neji asked.



"Arguing. He went downstairs without telling me and I freaked out."



"Typical." Gaara said bored.



Kiba looked at the two standing in the doorway. "What are you guys doing here anyway?"



"Neji had a bad feeling that something was wrong over here, so we came." Gaara said slightly angry.



The two stepped inside and Kiba closed the door behind them. Just then Haku's phone rang. "Guess who." He flipped the phone open and brought it to his ear. "Hello?"



"He Haku, it's Sasuke. I screwed up big time with Naruto. Think you can help me out?"



"Probably not. He listens to Kiba and Gaara more, though given what happened earlier, he probaly wouldn't help you."



"Alright, I'll call the sandman then."



"Bye." And with that, Haku hung up.



"Gaara, he's gonna call you." A few moments later, Gaara's phone rang.



"I don't feel like answering." He took out his phone, turned it off, and replaced it in his pocket.



Naruto, who had been leaning against the wall, slid down and hit the floor causing everyone to look at him. His head was forward and he was mumbling but no one could understand him. Kiba turned back towards Neji and Gaara. "You guys want to stay here?"



Gaara looked at Neji who was half awake, his head on Gaara's shoulder. Gaara sighed. "We'll stay." Kiba looked over at Haku who nodded and moved over to the couch, pulling off the cushions and pulled out the bed. He quickly put sheets on and went back to Kiba's room. Meanwhile Kiba went over to the sleeping blonde and picked him up, grunting at the weight. The brunette carried Naruto into the spare room and placing him on the full sized bed.

Naruto awoke to a banging on the door. "Kiba! Open this door! I know he's here! I want to talk to him!"



Just then Kiba came into the room. "Naruto, remember that crawlspace?" Naruto nodded. "Go in there with Gaara and Neji and try to stay quiet. Don't come out unless Haku or I come get you." Naruto nodded again and took off into the living room. He got Gaara and Neji and went to the crawlspace located in Kiba's closet. Naruto got in, staying close to the door. Gaara and Neji came in and moved behind him. Naruto closed the opening and turned towards the other two.



"I hope Kiba and Haku can deal with him."



"Shut up Naruto."

Kiba opened the door scowling. "What makes you think he's here?"



"Well, he's not at his place so I figured he came here."



"Well, you figured wrong."



"Can I look around?"



"Sure." Kiba stepped aside and Sasuke walked in, Kiba closing the door behind him.



Sasuek started looking through the rooms. "Naruto?" He walked into the kitchen and started to open cupboards. "I know I screwed up." He moved on to Kiba's room. He looked under the bed and in the closet, not noticing the crawlspace door. He then walked into the spare room that Naruto slept in. He spotted Naruto's hat on the bed and grabbed it. He looked around more, not seeing any other sign of the blonde.



He walked back into the living room, Naruto's hat in his hand. Kiba put the last cushion on the couch and turned to look at the raven haired teen. "You lied to me." Sasuke said, anger in his voice.



"What are you talking about?"



"This." He held out Naruto's night cap. "He was wearing it when he left."



"Maybe he has two."



Sasuke became fed up with arguing and drew his arm back, and swung, hitting Kiba in the eye.



"Kiba!"
