Sasuke: *his eyes red* You should learn to shut up. It would help when you're trying to escape an enemy.
Naruto: *hides behind Kuinnu* Don't let him kill me!
Kuinnu: Now now, Sasuke. He has a point. We need him for the rest of the story.
Sasuke: *frowning* Fine, I won't kill him. But I'll get back at him for that comment he made.
Arien: Do you always have to try and hurt Naruto?
Sasuke: No, but does he always have to be an idiot?
Naruto: HEY! At least I'm the one who ended up with a girlfriend!
Sasuke: *fuming in anger*
Kuinnu: Okay... Now, you're on your own.
Naruto: Uh oh...

Chapter 2: Legend of the Ten'nyo
"No way! Six nights in a row?! You're kidding right?" Kiba asked with a laugh.
Sasuke growled slightly. "I wish I was." He said as he walked along with his friends. Although the more fitting term for them nowadays was 'drinking buddies'.
Lee grinned at Sasuke, nudging him a bit. "So, Sasuke, is this dream girl of yours as hot as you say she is?" He asked, which earned a glare from Sasuke.
Naruto just grinned at his friend. "I'll bet you ten bucks he's gotten a boner from every dream he's had about her." He joked.
'Note to self: Kill Naruto.' Sasuke thought to himself, frowning and trying not to kill the other jounin right there.
"Still, she must be a real looker to get you worked up, Sasuke." Neji said. "But you said these dreams have been on and off for three months?" He asked.
"Yeah. And it's weird. I feel like I've met her somewhere before." Sasuke said.
"Now that is weird, and a bit creepy." Shikamaru said.
As the group headed to the movie store to check out the movies Lee had told them about, they passed by the book store. Sasuke stopped in front of the entrance, getting an idea. "Hey guys, wanna check out the newest issue of 'Lady Shinobi Monthly'?" He asked, referring to a popular adult magazine that he knew Naruto still bought.
Hearing the name of his favorite magazine caused Naruto to stop dead in his tracks and turned to face Sasuke. "Are you feeling ok?" He asked, walking over to him and putting his hand on the other jounin's forehead. "Hm.... You don't feel feverish..." Naruto said.
"Very funny." Sasuke said as he slapped Naruto's hand away from him.
"He has a point. Name one time you've EVER mentioned reading a porno in public." Shikamaru said.
"Come on, guys. Why not?" Sasuke asked. Naruto grinned like crazy, turning to Lee and the others. They grinned at one another, except for Sasuke and Neji, before entering the store.
Sasuke shook his head, entering the store last, shaking his head slowly. 'They still act like kids, even now when they're in their twenties.' He thought to himself. While Naruto and Kiba gathered around a copy of 'Lady Shinobi Monthly', Sasuke and Neji headed to other parts of the store. Sasuke headed to the back, towards the classical literature section of the store. Reading classical literature had become a hobby of his in the past few years and it was something to do to pass any free time he had. As he found a book that peaked his interest, Sasuke reached out to take the book off the shelf, only to find it stuck between two other books. After a bit of pulling, he finally pulled the book out. But as he did, something fell down on top of his head. He rubbed his head where he had been hit, looking at what had hit him.
Lying on the ground was a slightly aged book. "What the hell?" Sasuke asked as he picked up the older book and read the cover. "What's this? Classical Fairy Tales?" He said as he read the book's title. He rolled his eyes but opened the book anyways. He flipped through the pages, skimming through the various stories that were in there. He stopped when the title of one of the stories caught his attention. "'The Legend of the Ten'nyo'. That sounds familiar..." He thought out loud to himself. He turned the page and turned white as a sheet. The illustration to accompany the story was of a young woman - and she looked almost exactly like the girl from his dreams. On her arms, and floating over her head, was a white billowy cloth, just like in his dream.
"Yo, Sasuke, whatcha find?" Kiba asked, coming up from behind Sasuke and snapping him out of his shocked state.
"Huh, what?" Sasuke asked him as he returned to reality.
"You alright?" Kiba asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just hit my head is all." Sasuke said, trying to act natural.
"Ok... so, what did you find?" Kiba asked, looking at the picture of the celestial maiden in the book. "Whoa... They have pictures like that in a book that's meant for kids? Cool."
"You are such a perverted asshole." Sasuke said flatly, shutting the book.
"So then, what does that make you?" Kiba asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
"Mature." Sasuke replied simply, heading for the counter in order to pay for the book.
Kiba only followed him, noticing that Naruto and Lee were still reading the porno magazine. 'No wonder it's his favorite...' Kiba thought.
"You guys should learn to grow up...” Sasuke said as he left the store. He didn't seem to care if the others heard him or not.
As he headed back towards his house, Sasuke pulled out his new book and opened it to the story of the celestial maiden. "Let's see now. 'Long, long ago, there lived a young man who made a living as a woodcutter. One day, as he went to chop some wood down by the lake, he came across some ten'nyo, celestial maidens, bathing in the lake.' Yeah, I think I remember this story." He said. He just smiled a little bit and shrugged as he kept reading.
"Where was I? 'The man watched the ten'nyo as they bathed, in awe of their beauty. One a nearby tree branch, he found the hagoromos, the celestial robes, of the ten'nyo. Quietly, he stole one of the hagoromos and took it back to his house and hid it. He then returned to the lake to continue to watch the bathing ten'nyo. When the maidens went to retrieve their robes and return to Heaven, the youngest and most beautiful ten'nyo found that her hagoromo was missing. She began to cry, for without her hagoromo, she could not return to Heaven.'"
Sasuke paused for a moment, trying to remember where he'd heard this story before. When he couldn't think of anything, he went back to reading the story. "'Soon, the young man came forward. When the maiden saw him, she asked him, 'Have you seen my hagoromo? Please give it back if you have taken it.' The young man pretended to know nothing of the lost hagoromo and took the maiden home and made her his wife. For a long time, they were happy with the children the maiden bore the man. One day, the maiden heard her children singing a song. It was about a man who had hidden away a robe. After hearing the song, the maiden followed to where the song said to go, and found her lost hagoromo. Overjoyed, she put it on and returned to heaven, leaving her husband and children behind.' And she had no second thoughts about that..." He said to himself.
"Sasuke-kun!" A familiar voice called out. Sasuke looked up to see Kei and Sakura walking out of a nearby store.
"Hey, Sakura, Kei-chan. What are you two up to?" He asked them.
"Sakura and I were just out shopping for some... girl stuff." Kei said, pushing some of her silver hair out of her eyes.
"I see. So, Kei, are you and Naruto planning anything special. I mean, it's your anniversary after all." Sasuke asked.
Kei nodded. "Yeah, he said he had a surprise for me." She said with a smile.
"Well, I hope you two have a nice time tonight. I'll see you two later." Sasuke said as he headed home.
Sakura waved to him as he walked away.
Kei frowned slightly as she watched Sasuke leave. 'He's still hurting inside over what happened...' She thought to herself.

Kuinnu: *smiling* Well, that's done. Now I just need to finish typing up the rest of my chapters.
Sasuke: *dusting himself off* That was a little too easy.
Sakura: Sasuke... You tied Naruto up like a hog, and then hung him from a tree.
Sasuke: And?
Arien: *glaring at Sasuke* Let him go!
Sasuke: Not just yet.
Kakashi: This is rather fun
Kuinnu: Speak for yourself...
Kakashi: I was refering to your story, Kuinnu-chan.
Kuinnu: *smiling, eyes sparkling* Really?
Kakashi: *nodding* Yes.
Kuinnu: You rock, Kakashi-sensei!
Arien: Hey, sis, where did the guys go?
Kuinnu: Um.... Please review! *turns off recorder*
