Chapter two: Chance meeting
Yaaay! I'm so happy that I got at least /some/ reviews...! Well, here's another chapter. I know it's not as long as the other ones, but I promise that the next will be better! =) -big hugs-
move_them_hands: Haha, ya... I have a problem with blood... xD So glad you liked it!
ladywolfTerri: Ha, thanks... I knew I would do that! >.> Thanks for reviewing! =)
Devious Lil Devil: Mhmm, Elfen lied was pretty twisted wasn't it? I liked it anyways, though. Thanks for taking your time to review!
lokivsanubis: Fountain of blood? That's new...! Thanks for reading and leaving a review ;)
XZanayu: Thank-you! Here's the next chapter!
Sneakyfox: Haha, you posted your review right when I got the second chapter up... I'm just gonna add you here, then. Well, yup, that's pretty much how the first episode starts out; Lucy ripping people's heads off... Yeah, you should totally check it out. It was one of the best animes I've ever watched... next to Naruto and wolf's rain, of course! =)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A dark haired male padded along silently through the streets of Kohona. It was very quiet in the small village at night, just the way he liked it. A pale hand reached up to lace his fingers through silky, raven black hair.
The boy sighed, as he tucked his hands back into his jean pockets. It had been a long day.
He had been so excited for college; but one week at the large white building made him want to just stay home for the rest of the year.
He sighed again, only, this time it was a content sigh. He had reached his favorite spot in Kohona. He sat at the top of the flight of stairs, where he could see the ocean. It was night, and the sun had hidden itself on the other side of the earth, making it very dark and hard to see. The boy stood there for a couple of minutes, simply watching. He looked down the stairs, and walked onto the first step, then continued his way down the stairs.
He could smell the ocean once he got down. The sound of waves crashing upon the shore was all that could be heard. The boy walked closer, his ebony eyes staring out to what seemed liked endless water.
Suddenly, something shone in the moon light, successfully catching the boy’s attention. He walked closer to the shining object, an eyebrow lifting in question. He bent down and looked at it, then picked it up. It was a gold chain, with a beautiful blue rock dangling from it. Had someone lost it? It certainly looked really valuable.
He stood up, the necklace still in hand and sparkling. The jewel’s sparkling suddenly stopped when a shadow blocked the light from the moon. The boy’s eyebrows furrowed, and he turned to see who had caused the shadow.
“What th-” He starting saying, but cut himself off when he saw what had caused it.
In front of him, standing a few inches shorter then himself, was a blond haired male, with eyes a stunning azure color. The raven’s eyes widened. If it wasn’t for the fact that the blond was completely naked, he wouldn’t have been so surprised.
The raven quickly stumbled away.
“W- who are you?!” He shouted, demanding an answer.
The blond cocked his head to the side, with a slight smirk.
“That’s a good question, but unfortunately I can’t answer it because I, myself, don’t know the answer. And you, who are you?” The blond asked, a cocky smirk still on his face.
The raven didn’t answer his question. Why should he? This boy just sneaked up on him and asked him for his name. No way. Who was he anyways? How did he not know who he was? This didn’t make sense.
His grip tightened around the necklace that was still in his hand, as he stared at the blond.
He watched as the boy before him chuckled deeply.
“Not answering, fine… I’m Naruto.” The blond said after a while. He, himself didn’t know why he was giving out his name, or even asking for the other boy’s name. He was supposed to hate humans.
‘Oh well, I guess I’ll play with this one for a little while…’ he said.
Suddenly, Naruto’s nose tickled and he sneezed, then he sneezed again, and again. He wiped his nose with the back of his hand. Great, he had gotten a cold.
The raven watched as the blond sneezed. He took a moment to notice that the other’s hair was wet, strands sticking against his face and dripping with water.
‘Water? Did he come from… the ocean?’ He thought. What a strange boy.
‘Naruto’ didn’t seem very bad, just the fact that he was naked and seemed to come from the ocean was extremely weird. Well, he wouldn’t just let the blond freeze outside, but he didn’t want to take him to his place either.
‘What do I do? Call the police?’ He asked himself. He reached down to his pocket while the blond was busy sneezing and coughing.
‘Great’ He thought. ‘Forgot my cell phone at home this morning…’ He looked up at the blond with an unsure look and decided. He would take him to his place and call the police tomorrow… Right… Awesome plan…
Luckily for him, he had been wearing a coat. The raven sighed as he took his black jacket off. He approached the blond, who was still too busy to notice him, and draped the jacket over his shoulder.
Fortunately, the jacket was a bit too big for him, and the blond was shorter than him so it covered him up well.
Naruto looked up from his sneezing fit and looked at the raven, a confused look played over his face.
The raven simply turned away and walked in the direction back to the stairs.
“Come on. Or would you rather freeze out here?” The raven asked.
Naruto looked around, then back at the other boy before walking quickly to his side. He held the jacket close, trying to get warmer in the night’s cold air.
“Ne, you still haven’t told me your name yet…” Naruto said, trying to look the other in the eyes.
The raven looked away, as if trying not to look into Naruto’s eyes.
The shorter boy blinked, and simply shrugged it off when the raven didn’t answer.
“It’s… Sasuke.” The raven finally said after moments of silence.
