New Roommates

Chapter 1: First Day Introductions

"Should we... wake them up?" She asked, not sure what else to do as she moved over to the pile. She reached for the member on the top, Itachi.
A pair of red eyes slowly opened and stared at the blonde beauty that was standing before him. "Um...I don't think that's a good idea... They are bad guys after all." Alex pointed out. "Who are you calling bad? Tobi is a good boy." One of the members at the bottom of the pile called out. Little did he know he had a perfect view of below Quinn where he was laying.
"Deidara can't feel his legs, un." A blonde said, sounding annoyed from beneath Kisame and his partner Sasori. "You guys.... alright?" Quinn asked slowly.
"Be glad you have legs to not feel. I don't have arms right now!" Zetsu yelled as he crawled out from the lower section of the pile, causing the others to fall over like building blocks gone wrong. Itachi landed on his backside where as most of the other landed face down or on their backs. "Just peachy..." Sasori answered with a hint of sarcasm.
"Ok... Tobi, Zetsu, Deidara, Sasori, Kisame, Hidan, Kakuzu and...." She pointed at Itachi, her cheeks turning pink. "Itachi...."
Itachi looked up at the blonde again and studied her carefully. "Where are we?" He 'demanded'. Alex didn't know what to think. "Anyone else here have a clue what's going on?" He asked with a sweatdrop.
"No clue at all. Who the fuck are you two?" Hidan asked as he stood up and dusted himself. "That's enough questions. How about some answers!" Sasori snapped.
Quinn grumbled a bit. "First off, you all are in MY house." She pointed out, putting her hands on her hips.
"Your house? I thought we were in our base. Are we moving in?" Tobi asked innocently with what could only be guessed as a grin behind his orange mask. "Now wait just a minute!" Alex yelped.
"Secondly, you guys aren't supposed to be real." She said. Deidara frowned. "We're real of course, un." He said, standing up and dusting himself off.
"Then why are you guys still on the TV screen?" Alex asked as he glanced back at the TV. "Hey! We have our own show guys!" Tobi said as he sat down cross legged in front of the TV. All the characters were still present in the show. "Do I look THAT scary?" Kakuzu asked as he looked at himself.
"Um... The show is about Naruto, not you guys." Quinn pointed out. "And at this point... Sasuke is about to join up with Orochimaru." She said.
"That old traitor?" Kisame asked as he reached for his sword but found nothing. "Hey! Where's my Sharkskin!?" He yelled, unable to find his weapon.
Deidara rolled his eyes. "Hidan doesn't have his weapon either, un." He pointed out. "Thank God for that..." Quinn said with a sigh of relief.

"It would seem our weapons have been stripped from us. It would probably be best to check if we can still do our jutsu." Sasori pointed out to his team mates. "We're borrowing your backyard and that dummy over there." He added as he began leaving the room and pointing at a now sweating Alex. "WHAT?!" He yelped in fear.
Quinn only delivered a swift kick to Sasori's side, knocking him down and sending him back a few feet. "That's my boyfriend!" She snapped. Deidara widened his eyes. "Is she a kunoichi, un?" He asked with a slight purr in his voice. "SHE is MY girlfriend. So back off or I'll beat the tar outta ya girly dude!" Alex yelled at Deidara with an annoyed vein on his forehead.
Kakuzu studied Quinn carefully after she kicked Sasori. Quinn only pushed one of her ponytails out of her eyes and put her hands on her hips again.

"I'd have to agree with Sasori on the jutsu testing part. But it would wise if we keep a low profile." Itachi announced. "Excuse me miss, but...would happen to have somewhere private for us all to go?" Itachi asked as he gazed into Quinn's blue eyes with his own red ones. He moved in closer to her. "And may I also know your name?" The Uchiha added. Alex was silently fuming at the back.
Quinn blushed bright pink, hearts in her eyes. "You can call me anything you want..." She said, her voice full of emotion of a love struck fangirl. Deidara snickered to himself.
"I'm still here, Quinn!" Alex yelped at her from the back of the room. "So your name's Quinn? How charming." Itachi said to her in a low tone of voice. "Th-thank you." She said, putting a hand on her cheek as she blushed some more. "Quinn, a word?" Alex asked before he took Quinn into the hallway, leaving the rest of the guys in the room. "What on earth are we gonna do!? 8 dangerous men in our home! What now?" He panicked.
"We can't exactly let them go elsewhere." She said. "I mean, Zetsu alone would be a problem in public." She pointed out.
"You have a good point." He replied, dreading the thought of Zetsu's cannibal habits. "Ok, so what do we do?" he asked.
"We let them stay here." She said. "At least until we can figure out what to do to send them home."
"Well...alright, but if I lose a leg, I'm not gonna be happy." He said as he forced a smile and reentered the bedroom. "Ok, you can all stay here for now." He announced, earning smirks from some of the guys.
"But! There are some ground rules." Quinn pointed out. "First off, Zetsu and Kisame have to stay here when we're at college." She said. "A shark man and a giant plant would cause a commotion." "Guess that sounds fair." Zetsu said with a slight groan. "Fine, but the bathroom's all mine during that time." Kisame reasoned. "Secondly, the rest of you are getting jobs and paying rent." Alex added to the rule list. "Jobs?" Tobi asked curiously." Kisame, I have a pool, and I don't want my bathroom smelling like bait." Quinn said. "Third, NO KILLING! AT ALL!" She practically yelled. "What?! That's too much!" Hidan argued.

"Hey, what's this? 'Akatsuki- The musical'? Guys, come look at this, un!" Deidara read on Quinn's computer. "NO! Don't watch that!" She begged.
"I wanna see!" Tobi said moving up to the computer. "What the hell?!" Kisame said as he saw 'himself' dancing to ‘I'm Blue’ by Eiffel 65.
Deidara burst out laughing as he watched 'Kisame' dance and strip.
"I'll kill them all-" Kisame yelled out before Sasori walked on stage. "Oh no..." Sasori said as he heard Pinocchio’s 'Got no strings' song.
Deidara and Kakuzu began to laugh louder.
"Hey it's me!" Tobi said gleefully then heard 'Good Ship Lollipop'. "I don't get it." He said as the rest of the gang snickered looking at Tobi's mask.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!" Kakuzu demanded, hearing 'himself' singing 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'.
"Some people have a twisted sense of humor huh?" Hidan teased him.
"What?! I do not, un!" Deidara yelled hearing his song of 'Dude looks like a Lady'. "Yes you do!" Quinn snapped.
Alex and Tobi were rolling on the floor laughing. "That girl dressed as you is pretty cute." Sasori teased. Orochimaru then jumped on the stage. They were all watching him trying to kidnap Deidara to 'Shut Up and Sleep With Me'. "I always knew he swung that way!" Kisame yelled laughing.
Quinn slapped her forehead at Kisame's comment and watched Sasori 'rescue' Deidara from Orochimaru.
"Awww Sasori's your hero HAHAHA." Alex teased the blonde. Hidan then took center stage during a brief intermission doing a little jig. "Please let me kill this device." Hidan growled.
"Hell no! It cost me 500 dollars!" Quinn snapped at the white haired ninja.
"It's me again!" Tobi called out as another lollypop related song came on, this time 'My Boy Lollipop'. "I still don't get it." He said as the others snickered again, trying not to burst out laughing at their oblivious partner.
Deidara didn't hold back as Zetsu went up singing 'Mean Green Mother'. "That's perfect for him!"
"I'm suddenly feeling 'hungry'." Zetsu threatened the blonde man. Hidan jumped back on stage rocking out this time to 'Family Reunion'. "Ok THIS I don't mind." Hidan said.
Quinn sighed a bit. "You can barely understand the song." "Oh, look. Itachi's turn finally, un." Deidara pointed out as Itachi stepped forward.
Itachi commanded the stage, earning fangirl screams left and right as he played 'I AM EVIL' by Metallica. "Ok, I'll admit you play an awesome guitar." Alex admitted. "Why are so many women screaming?" Itachi asked Quinn.
She blushed and laughed nervously. "Have you looked in a mirror?" She asked. 'You're sex on legs.' She added in her mind.
Tobi once again popped up as he finished the musical with 'They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard'. "Oh NOW I get it." Tobi said laughing.


Quinn pulled Deidara out of her seat and away from her computer. "Thank you..." "Oh and what are these?" Kakuzu asked, holding up her half finished Hanakaze costume. "Put that down!" She yelled at him.
"Please, she worked so hard on those." Alex pleaded. "Oooooh what are they?" Tobi asked as he stared at the outfits with sparkles around his visible eye.
"There's my costumes!" She snapped. "Oh. I like this one, un." Deidara said, holding up a costume of Super Sailor Moon.
"You would girly boy." Alex yelled at him. "What's the other one? Is that big mouth's" Kisame asked, referring to Alex.
"Put them down! I mea-" Quinn yelled, stopping when she saw Itachi holding up her Princess Serenity costume.
"This one would look good on you." Itachi told her in a slightly seductive tone.
Her face turned bright red, causing Deidara and Kakuzu to laugh. "Why not try it on, un?" Deidara 'suggested'.
"One more comment like that outta you and you're a goner!" Alex warned him. "I actually wouldn't mind seeing that." Itachi replied.
Quinn slowly took her costume from Itachi, looking at the ground so no one else would see her crimson cheeks. "Everyone out." She said, trying to stay calm. "Alex... take them to the living room."
"S-sure." Alex said as he dragged the guys out of the room. All the Akatsuki sat down on the 3 sofas in the living room. "Now let's get one thing clear gentlemen. Quinn's my girlfriend and I love her, so don't even try laying a hand on her." Alex told them then glared at Itachi, who just returned the glare.
"I don't think she's all yours alone anymore, un." Deidara said with a snicker, sitting by Sasori and Kisame.
"That's what you think. Quinn's the most faithful girl I know." Alex replied with a growl to Deidara. Zetsu walked over to a large flower pot filled with soil and stood in it. "I found my room." He told the other members.


"Do I really have to come out?" Quinn asked from the hallway, just behind a wall that separated the hallway from the living room. "If that would be ok with you." Itachi answered her.
She slowly stepped out into the living room, wearing her costume. She'd even added her stick-on crescent moon for her forehead. Kakuzu smirked slightly while Deidara licked his lips.
Itachi has wide but awe filled eyes as he gazed up and down her beautiful body. Alex was swooning with hearts in his eyes. Tobi blushed behind his mask as Zetsu and Kisame gave a whistle while Sasori tugged the dress a little, thinking she looked like a doll.
Quinn pulled her dress away from Sasori. "This dress took me three months to make. What's your problem?"
"I just thought you looked 'doll-like'." Sasori answered. "You look beautiful." Itachi said still awe filled by her look.
"Who exactly are you supposed to be? Some sort of angel, un?" Deidara asked with all three of his mouths grinning.
"That reminds me. You're wearing gloves on those things." Alex ordered him as he threw a pair of rubber dish washing gloves at Deidara. "Dang, I might have to consider dating you." Kisame said with a snicker. Quinn 'eeped' at Kisame's comment. "No thanks!" "You look good enough to eat." Zetsu told her.
"It's too bright. Make it black and you gotta chance with me." Hidan told her with an uncaring expression on his face. "Again, no thank you. This dress is supposed to be white." She snapped, growling.
"Angel, you look amazing! Your hard work'll pay off at the parties for sure!" Alex complimented as he moved in front of Itachi, who just brushed him aside.

"But there's still the talent show and I need to work out the routine." She said. "Routine?" Kakuzu asked. "We were going to do a dance routine with some friends, but our friends pulled out at the last minute." She said.
"Well. I suppose we could all fill in." Itachi suggested. "Eh, we got nothing better to do in this lame world." Kisame added to his statement. “Tobi wants to dance!" Tobi yelled happily.
"Ok, but you guys understand that I will be in charge of your costumes as well, right?" She pointed out.
"Just don't put me in a fucking dress and we'll be fine." Hidan said back to her. "I trust your judgment, Lady Quinn." Itachi said bowing slightly to her. "La-lady? Me?" She stammered, blushing again. Itachi looked back into her eyes again, not saying a word but at the same time saying a thousand thing he could be saying in his head. Just then a loud growl was heard from Tobi's stomach. "Um...I'm hungry." He said to Quinn.
Quinn smiled a bit. "Looks like we'll need a lot of pizzas for tonight." She said.
"What is this 'Pizza' you speak of? Some kinda ninja tool?" Kisame asked. Alex slapped his forehead. "This better not be what having kids is like..." He said under his breath to himself.
