Chapter 2 Tattoo

Naruto practically did a swan dive into the huge bed that was in the room he and Sasuke had been given. The Uchiha watched from the doorway, smirking, "You look ten years old right now usuratonkachi."

The blond just flipped over to look at Sasuke, "Well I guess that makes you a pedophile huh Sasuke-sama?"

Naruto had been expecting Sasuke to grunt and change the subject but the raven's smirk shifted from smug to seductive as he walked over to where Naruto was sprawled on the bed, leaned down to crouch over the blond, and brought his mouth within a breath of Naruto's, "I suppose so dobe."

Whatever Naruto would have said next was lost as Sasuke claimed the jinchuurikii's mouth gently. Naruto felt the Uchiha's tongue slip between his lips to swirl around his and the fox vessel grabbed the back of the avenger's head, increasing the pressure of the kiss, and began to suck lightly on the raven's tongue.

Just as the kiss was shifting from hot to volcanic and Naruto's hand began sliding under Sasuke's pants, the door to the room opened and a dry feminine voice interrupted them, "Yukari-sama has offered to take us to the festival so I'd suggest waiting until tonight for any hanky panky."

They broke the kiss and Naruto scuttled off the bed to grin at Sakura sheepishly while Sasuke glared at the pinkette for the interruption. Sakura shook her head with amusement, "You've got five minutes to meet us at the front door. If you're not there by then I'll come back to get you," and she left them to straighten themselves up.

Once they saw the first booth, Yukari and Sakura took off on their own, leaving the two young men to their own devices. Sasuke watched contentedly as Naruto played one of the festival games. He didn't often get the chance to see the blond so carefree since the villagers in Konoha still treated the jinchuurikii hostilely. It always infuriated Sasuke when Naruto was treated so badly and a couple of the more demonstrative villagers had felt the Uchiha's wrath in the form of vicious genjutsu. Sasuke shook his head to banish the negitive thoughts, he didn't want to ruin Naruto's pleasure in the festival. A shop caught Sasuke's eye and he smirked as a more permanent counterpart to the earrings occured to him.

Naruto dashed over with a blue water balloon he'd won, "Hey what're you smirking at?"

"The next thing I'm having you do."

Naruto followed the direction of Sasuke's gaze to a tattoo parlor. 'Uh-oh.'

"Um Sasuke-sama?"

"Hn?"

"Just how big a tattoo am I getting?"

"You'll see."

The Uchiha hooked a finger in Naruto's orange collar and led the blond into the tattoo place.

Naruto stood nervously by the tattoo chair as Sasuke spoke to the tattoo artist. The blond twitched as the artist came over followed by Sasuke who said, "Take the pants off."

"WHAT?!!"

The artist, sensitive to people's modesty said, "He doesn't have to take them off, just unlace part of one side and move it out of the way."

Naruto gaped at Sasuke, "Where the hell am I getting a tattoo?"

Sasuke ran a finger over the right side of Naruto's lower abdomen, a bare ince away from the groin, "Right here."

Naruto winced at the thought of a needle working ink into the skin of that tender area then he met Sasuke's eyes, "I swear that if this isn't a recripricol thing then I will get even in a very unpleasant way."

Sasuke chuckled, "Don't worry, I'm getting one in the same spot dobe."

Naruto hrumphed and set to baring the area to be tattooed.

Sasuke glared at Naruto as the blond pratically skipped up the steps of Yukari's home. he'd forgotten that Kyuubi healed Naruto so well ans was irritated that, while his own tattooed skin required that he step lightly, Naruto felt no unpleasant after effects.
Naruto, feeling the glare, turned around to see Sasuke's less than pleased expression. Knowing that the avenger's tattoo was probably still tender, Naruto got an idea. He confered with Kyuubi for a moment then went over to the pissy raven. Naruto draped himself over Sasuke's right side in a hug, "Did I ever thank you for controlling your temper when Yukari-sama was hitting on me?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "As a matter of fact no, you didn't."

"Well then," Naruto nuzzled the hollow under Sasuke's ear, "Thank you very much Sasuke-sama."

Sasuke felt a flare of gentle warmth wash over the fresh tattoo, "What did-?"

Naruto bounced away, "Race you to the front door teme!"

Sasuke unconsciously took a step forward, intending to yell at Naruto before the blond could take off and his eyes widened as he realized that his tattooed skin didn't hurt anymore. He chuckled. 'So that's what he did. And the Uchiah took off after his lover, he planned to win the race.

As they reached the top of the stairs a male servant of the damiyo bowed to them, "My master would like to meet with Uzumaki Naruto."

They stopped dead in their tracks and exchanged an 'oh shit' look before Naruto stepped forward, "I'm Uzumaki Naruto."

The servant inclined his head, "Please follow me Uzumaki-san."

Before Naruto could leave, Sasuke said, "Wait," and stepped behind the blond to take off the collar, whispering, "I don't want you to be embarrassed by being labled as property in front of the damiyo though you are mine."

Naruto gave Sasuke a grateful smile and followed the damiyo's servant to the man's location.

The damiyo looked up as Naruto entered behind the servant and smiled at the blond, "Please have a seat."

Naruto bowed and sat on one of the floor cushions elegantly as Hinata and Neji had been teaching him, "Thank you my lord. may I ask why you summoned me?"

The damiyo gestured for a servant to a cup of tea for his guest. Naruto accepted gracefully and took a single sip before giving the damiyo his full attention.

The fire lord smiled in approval of Naruto's manner, "I summoned you for a few reasons. First is to apologize for my cousin's behavior during most of the trip here."

"I appreciate your apology sire."

The damiyo raised his eyebrows and laughed, "Good, very good my boy. I had expected you to say that an apology was un-necessary as many people do. Instead you acknowledged the fact that an apology was necessary without giving offence or gloating," the nobleman leaned forward, "Such diplomacy is necessary for one who wishes to be a leader as you do."

Naruto's own eyebrows rose minisculely and the damiyo nodded as if he'd just confirmed something, "The second reason I called you here is to thank you for protecting Yukari despite her actions."

"That is un-necessary. Protecting Yukari-sama was a mission and as a shinobi I do not let personal feelings endanger a mission. Thanks for doing a mission is always appreciated but un-necessary."

The damiyo nodded, "Then I will move on to the final reason I called you here. I understand that one of your main ambitions is to become Rokudaime Hokage?"

"Yes my lord. It's been a dream of mine since I was a young child."

"As you know, the Hokage must be strong as a ninja, however, the Hokage must also have a talent for diplomacy and the ability to convince other to change their minds as well as have the patience to deal with tedious paperwork. I have heard of your skill as a shinobi and of your uncanny ability to change people. I called you here mainly to test your diplomatic ability."

Naruto took a sip of tea, "Did I pass?"

The fire lord laughed, "Oh with flying colors young man. When the time comes for Konohagakure to instate a new Hokage let me know and I will be there to give you my full support."

Naruto's eyes widened momentarily, then he grinned, "I'll be sure to do that my lord."

The damiyo chuckled and gave Naruto leave to go.

Naruto entered the room and was promptly pinned against the wall with Sasuke's tongue in his mouth. He moaned into the avenger's mouth as the Uchiha ground their hip together. Sasuke broke the kiss to bite at Naruto's neck. The blond hissed and tilted his head to the side to give Sasuke more access to his throat. The avenger chuckled darkly and pulled away, "I think it's time to finish what Sakura interrupted earlier don't you?"

Naruto's answer was to grab the Uchiha, pull him over to the bed and topple them both onto the mattress so that Sasuke was lying on top of Naruto. The avenger smirked, "That's what I thought," and took Naruto's mouth in a searing kiss.
