Ok so here is the second chapter for a path to change, again this chapter was originally written by Tachimaru, as is the next chapter. I am not going to be taking over the story till chapter 4...XD
Well on with the story!
Chapter Two: Opening up to Change
As the rain started to cascade down the window. A young man began to dream of the life he was to lead. The love and happiness that he was to share with a beautiful stranger he had yet to meet, but truly longed for.
But, like most dreams they come to an end and his came by way of an annoying alarm and persistent ringing.
As Naruto stumbled out of bed trying to focus his sleep hazed mind and locate the cause of his rude awaking he cursed inwardly as he looked at the blinking red numbers of the alarm that he just slammed his hand on to make it stop its noise. It read 6:30 ‘who would be calling me this early in the morning’ he thought as he scrambled to locate his phone.
Ring, Ring, Ring
“Hello” said Naruto with a lazy yawn.
“Oi Naruto, what are you doing? Are you ready yet?” came the loud boisterous voice of Kiba Naruto's closest friend and co-worker.
“Ready for what”
“Naruto did you forget what Iruka told you about today, your opening the store because he’s going away for a couple of days and you have to show the new guy the ropes. Plus it’s you’re turn to drive the carpool.” Kiba announced with an exasperated sigh.
“Oh yeah, that’s right well thanks for calling and reminding me Kiba, let me get ready and I’ll be there in 30 min” Naruto stated as he looked at the clock to estimate the time it would take him to get ready. ‘And I was going to turn off that damn alarm and go back to sleep, oh well’ Naruto thought as he said his goodbyes to Kiba.
“Just hurry up the store is supposed to open at 8:00 and that guy is probably going to be there early. See you when you get here. Bye.”
After Naruto hung up the phone he proceeded to get ready all he really had to do was to take a shower, brush his teeth and get dressed. Maybe even run a comb through his sun kissed blonde hair although no matter if he did or not it always came out the same his hair was naturally spiked and framed his face just right.
Lucky for Naruto there was a basic uniform that was worn on the job. So finding something to wear would not be hard.
Although each employee was allowed to put there own special touch to the uniform. (as long as it was not overbearing or to much where it would take away from the store it’s self.) Naruto choose to wear an orange belt and tie to go with the black slacks and fitted black dress shirt with the company logo. Naruto loved color especially orange.
Naruto stood from the bed and began his morning routine, it was only ten minutes later that a freshly showered and all to ready Naruto was making his way to the garage of his apartment. Stepping out the door and hitting the garage door opener Naruto took a long look at his pride and joy a Sunset Orange 2008 CHEVY AVALANCHE. This car meant the world to Naruto. It was a gift from his father. He had given Naruto the car just a few short months before he had passed away due to a heart attack on the job.
It was time to start his day, hopping in and starting the car he checked his list of people that he would be picking up. Kiba was the first on the list only living 10min away. Pulling out of his driveway he headed down the street for Kiba’s not realizing that today would be the day he meet his one true love.
