Tsunade her head up on her hand Contemplating what might have happened, they were a very capable team and going on the intel they had This should have been a mission that they could carry out without the severity of the injuries they had received. Hinata awoke slowly, The last thing she remembered was Tsunade telling her to get some rest, Then nothing, Her mind had went blank, She opened her eyes slowly, the whole world was a blur but slowly came into focus. She stared at the ceiling, She realized from the tiles that she was in the hospital, But she hadn't sustained any injuries that bad had she? she sat up and looked around, the sun was out. She felt weak but managed to get up and walk around the room a bit. Not long after she got up someone the door opened a bit and Sakura stepped in holding the medical papers for The Hyuuga girl. Sakura smiled as she said "So you're awake finally" "finally?..how long was I asleep" The girl asked speaking quietly. "It's been just under 2 full days, you must have been completely exhausted" Sakura answered "Hows Kiba" She asked timidly Sakura stared off for a second before answering "He'll recover But he isn't gonna be able to leave for at least a couple of weeks." Hinata nodded "How bad was he hurt?" she asked getting even quieter. "He had several broken ribs, damage to his internal organs, And a broken leg." She answered looking away. "I see" Hinata replied looking up at sakura again "And Neji?" "He broke his arm other than that a couple of cuts, nothing major." the pinkette replied. there was a knock at the door,. "Come in" Hinata's voice still very quiet. the door opened and Tsunade walked into the room. "Am I interrupting?" The older woman asked. "Not at all" Hinata said not looking up at the Hokage. Tsunade walked over to the window and looked out then continued to speak "Hinata a little later could you stop by my office? I have a few questions for you" "Yes Tsunade-Sama" "Alright I'll be waiting for your visit" Tsunade turned and looked at the timid Hinata standing there head still hanging in front of her Sakura had noticed that Hinata had been holding a posture that screamed she was blaming herself for her friends injuries, ever since she had been told the severity of them "It's not your fault, and they are both gonna be okay" Sakura said and smiled and the Hyuuga girl who looked up, visibly upset by the whole ordeal. Tsunade walked to the door and told Hinata to visit as soon as she felt well enough to before letting herself out. ~~~Two Hours Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hinata Knocked on the door to Tsunade's office. The voice from the other side telling her to enter. Tsunade was sitting at her Desk, Elbow deep in paperwork, she was relieved to see Hinata standing there when she finally looked up after a minute more of working. "I need you to tell me In detail what happened on the mission, I read over your report but it appears the Exhaustion got the better of it, it was too vague for me to make much out of it" The older woman told her in a semi-serious tone. "Okay" The young girl replied. *flashback* They had figured out where Koginshi was staying, Neji spoke carefully spelling out a plan to the letter of the plan to capture him, He would make sure that there was only one person in the Cabin that Koginshi was staying. Hinata was to make sure no one was in the surrounding area at the same time, when they were sure that he was alone, Neji and Kiba would make their way to the door of the cabin, Kiba and Akamaru would break the door in. While Koginshi was still surprised Neji would use his "Gentle Fist" Style techniques to incapacitate their target, Then they could safely take the prisoner back to Konoha. At first all went well or so they had thought they confirmed that he was alone, and they set their plan into action, They broke down the door, and Neji started his barrage of attacks onto Koginshi, only to find that the person he had attacked was infact a shadow clone, Kiba screamed as the Large man Known as Koginshi landed a strong punch into his ribs. Neji turned just in time to see his friend get hit by a sweeping kick just blow the knees the crack was audible as his friends leg split. Neji Acted quickly to protect his friend but the first attack he tried to throw the man stepped aside of grabbing Neji's arm and twisting it breaking it. This man was insane. He was faster then them, he was stronger than them, The intel told them he was slightly worse in all fields then them, it seemed the only place that the reports had been right was that he specialized in taijutsu. Neji looked worried as the man started another punch toward him He jumped back out of the way, dodging the attacks and trying to throw a few of his own but they were all too predictable since he could only use one arm, He started fearing for the worst, seemingly out of nowhere a hit landed on the man though it was not from Neji, Hinata stood in her fighting stance, She had his his right shoulder, now the opponent was also down one arm, She had realized that he had not seen her yet, she had stayed concealed and used the advantage surprise gave her to protect her cousin, and her friend who was already in far worse shape than either her or Neji. The man tried to swing at her but she ducked under neath his swing, then started planting a flurry of blows to the man, 36 of them in all she landed them all with precise aim, the man crumpled to the ground. Hinata made sure that Kiba was okay after tying their very agile oppenent in chains. She asked Neji if he was alright as well, He just nodded in silence he thought to himself *we had so many reports on him, how is it that he they were all wrong* his thoughts becoming a blur as he wondered how it could be that every document pretaining to this man was written off that he was of a lower skill than he truly was. after a moment he picked up the end of the chain that acted like a lead to guide the prisoner along and insure that he couldn't run off, if he wanted to make an escape he would have to take Neji s arm with him and with the man bound in chains with chakra seals on them, that would be a lot easier said than done. *end flashback* Tsunade Nodded, she didn't like the idea that ran through her mind but she couldn't dismiss it, All of the intelligence reports were from Anbu members that had formerly worked under Danzou. Was their a conspiracy forming in their midst? She didn't like the idea but thought with Danzou's history it was a plausible Idea. After a moment debating what to do she Sternly told Shizune to summon the best of her teams of Anbu members. She handed Shizune a hand written list of the members she wanted to be called to her office, not even making an attempt to hide her irritation she sounded very angry and Shizune quickly answered "Alright" and quickly left to get on with the task she had been assigned the real reason she left so quickly was to avoid the Hokages tempter, That woman was scary when she was angry. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neji Found Naruto at his usual feeding whole None other than Ichiraku ramen. Neji's arm had mostly recoverd thanks to the expert care at the hospital. Kiba though was still not allowed out of bed, and Hinata, well she had returned to her normal schedule of training. Neji seated himself next to the blonde "And I haven't even beaten you yet so I actually have to pay myself." Naruto was instantly fired up "You think you can beat me? Let's go find out right now" *so easily excited* Neji thought, He looked over at the blonde who was getting more excited by the second, "Give me a minute or two then we will head out to the training fields" "But why not right now?" Naruto starting to sound disappointed. Neji was a bit amused at Nauruto's sudden calming "Because in about 20 minutes Hinata starts her daily training, And I thought that it would be good if we all trained together, so after we spar we will all train then the loser buys me...I mean the winner ramen." Naruto thought for a second and agreed "well if we are gonna be waiting Then I am gonna have something to eat beforehand anyways." Naruto ordered himself a bowl of ramen which he devoured in no time flat. Then the two of them headed off to the training fields. Hinata had not showed up just yet she should be showing up in about 5 minutes Neji thought, Just enough time to beat Naruto. Neji took a deep breath before falling into his fighting stance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don't worry all of you that are waiting for the couples they will start to develop in the next few chapters, this is my second chapter in well about 12 hours? I felt like the first was so unfinished that I had to add to it. which knowing me I might very well have chapter 3 up by the end of the day.
