Chapter Two
Naruto leaned his head back against headrest of the black 2008 Mustang convertible and sighed. Turning his head to face Sasuke, Naruto couldn’t help but stare at the man behind the wheel. Sasuke’s spiked hair blew in the wind and his pale fingers tapped in time with the music that blared through the speakers.
Naruto smiled. He was happy. He and Sasuke were going out to lunch and then to find Itachi a present. He had his chance to befriend the aloof artist and perhaps make life easier for Itachi in the process. The businessman saw how Sasuke treated him and always seemed to find ways so that Naruto didn’t have to deal with him even if it put him out of his way.
He knew Itachi missed having Sasuke around. Naruto had seen Itachi staring at a painting that Sasuke had created and knew that his lover missed his arrogant brother. He was a little ashamed for keeping the two apart. That would be the first part of his gift to Itachi; he would make sure Sasuke was always welcome around them.
“You’re thinking too hard, dobe.”
“Stop calling me that, teme.”
“Stop making it so easy for me.” Sasuke couldn’t help but smirk. Naruto was so fun to rile up. Just being around the blonde lifted his spirits though he would never tell him that.
“Where are we going for lunch?”
“I know a nice place. It’s in a pretty quiet part of town.”
“What type of food is it?”
“Sushi.”
“What’s the name?”
“Do you ever shut up?”
“Why are you jealous of my wit?”
“You have got to be the most annoying person I know.”
“I’ll take that as a compliment. I made your most annoying list.” Naruto grinned and Sasuke couldn’t stop the chuckle that escaped his throat. Naruto had to do it on purpose. There was no other explanation of why he was the way he was.
“We’re here.”
“Wow, you were right. It is sort of quiet.” Naruto looked around the seemingly quiet street of Little Tokyo. Tourists walked down the street snapping pictures of some women dressed in the traditional kimono and a group of ancient looking men played Mahjong. Glancing at the building, he could see how it would be over looked. It was nothing special. No fancy lights or huge signs stating it was anything but a small family owned restaurant.
“Come on, idiot. Itachi made me miss breakfast this morning.”
“Huh? What did he do?”
“Never mind, come on.”
The two walked into the small receiving area and were greeted by a girl about fifteen. She smiled brightly ran to hug Sasuke. The youngest Uchiha blushed and Naruto had to grin. That was the first time he’d seen the boy blush.
“Come on, Mayu. Show us to a table.” said Sasuke in Japanese. The girl did as he asked, all the while chattering about how good it was to see him.
“I’ll tell Mama that you are here, Sasuke-kun. She will be happy you came by. It’s been so long.” said the girl before disappearing into the kitchen area.
“What’s good here? I’m not big into sashimi, just so you know.”
“Don’t worry, dobe. I won’t order you anything raw.”
After several minutes, an attractive middle aged woman exited the kitchen area and placed a pot of tea and two cups on the table. “Good day, Sasuke-san.” Her words were formal but a look of affection was visible in her eyes.
“Good day, Yuki-san. This is Naruto. Bring him a sampler and I’ll have my usual.” The woman smiled and left to place the order.
“What’s your usual?”
“Nagiri-zushi and a few Maki-zushi. Don’t worry. No sashimi. Yuki-san will bring you a sampler. It will have some of what I’m having as well as some inari-zushi and temaki-zushi.”
“Here is your soup, Sasuke-san.” Yuki placed small bowls of miso soup before each of them.
Both thanked her and began sipping on the soup. Naruto’s eyes widened with pleasure. The last time he’d had miso this good was with his mother. Blinking quickly, he felt himself slump in his seat and smile drop from his face. Mom… It had been a long time since he’d thought about her. He tried to keep his memories of before locked away but some times they broke free and he was left feeling bereft.
“What has you so serious, dobe?” Sasuke tried to appear unconcerned but he couldn’t keep the look of worry from his eyes.
“Just thinking…about before I lived on the streets. Okasan used to make miso soup. It was the best I’ve ever had. This reminded me of her.” Naruto set aside his soup cup and stared at nothing in particular.
Sasuke blinked a few times. He’d never considered that Naruto might have had a family before living on the streets. The sadness that chased away the bright smile tore at Sasuke’s heart. “What was she like?” Fearing that the question might send him even farther away, Sasuke sat unmoving as Naruto lifted a pain ridden gaze to meet his own.
“Okaasan…she was always smiling. Even when times were hard, she would smile. Otousan, he would always say that Okaasan was his angel and I was his sunshine. After she got sick, Otousan changed. He started drinking and coming home late…if he even came home at all. The night she died, he was drunk at the bar. I hated him so much for leaving her to suffer and drinking away his troubles. After the funeral, I left. I was thirteen and lived on the streets until I turned eighteen and Itachi bought me.” Naruto’s smile brightened a little at the mention of Itachi.
The way he looked when he mentioned Itachi irked Sasuke. He wanted to scream out that Itachi was his and at the same time he was jealous that Naruto didn’t feel that same devotion towards him. He really was one fucked up individual if he couldn’t decide who he wanted.
“I’ve never told Itachi what I just told you.” Naruto whispered the words but Sasuke heard him.
“What?” Sasuke froze at the words. He knew something about Naruto that the blonde had never told Itachi. Tamping down the slight thrill, he turned questioning eyes towards him.
“You are the only person I told that to. I don’t know why but I trust you, Sasuke. I really want us to be friends. Itachi misses you so much. He always stares at that painting of yours that is in the apartment.” Naruto turned sad eyes on Sasuke.
Sasuke felt as if the bottom had dropped out from beneath him. Itachi…missed him? Itachi wanted him around? Turning his face away from Naruto, he sat fighting back the feeling burning in his chest. It wasn’t the way he wanted it though. He wanted to be loved by his brother. He wanted to be filled by him.
“Sasuke? Did I upset you?”
“No. Just finish your food. We’ll go shopping next.” Sasuke pushed his remaining food away. He’d lost his appetite.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent browsing several shops. Sasuke scowled at the way Naruto couldn’t decide. “Hurry up and find something.”
“Teme.” Naruto murdered under his breath before picking up a pair of handcuffs. They were just toys and not intended to be used as sexual playthings but Naruto couldn’t stop the blush that infused his cheeks. Sending a glance towards where Sasuke was flipping through a magazine, Naruto grabbed the toys and rushed to the checkout. The clerk sent him a smirking glance but rang up the cuffs.
“Find something?” Naruto jumped as Sasuke appeared behind him. A blush stole across the tan cheeks and he sent a nervous glance Sasuke’s way.
“Umm…he-he…yea, something.” Naruto took the bag the cashier handed him and left the store.
“Are we finished?” Sasuke tried to sound a little indifferent but he couldn’t help but be disappointed. He might groan and moan but he’d enjoyed being with Naruto. The blonde was lively and kept up conversation even if the only response he got was a grunt.
“I suppose…” murmured Naruto, feeling much the same as Sasuke.
“Fine.” Sasuke began walking back towards his car, Naruto pouted but followed. He’d made progress today at least…he thought.
The ride home was spent in silence. Once in the parking garage, Sasuke killed the motor and sent a glare towards Naruto. “You can find your way home?” he asked snidely.
“Bastard.” growled Naruto before stepping from the car and storming towards the elevator.
Pulling a pack of cigarettes from his back pocket, he lit up the smoke and inhaled deeply, pulling the nicotine enriched smoke into his lungs. Releasing it in a slow stream from his lips, he fell back against the hood. “Fuck you, Itachi.”
“Now, now, Sasuke. Such language directed at your dear aniki?” Sasuke shot up from where he laid across the car and felt heat pour into his loins at the sight of Itachi.
Itachi smirked and strolled over to where his brother sat on the hood of his car and pulled the dangling cigarette from Sasuke‘s mouth. “Don’t you know cigarettes are bad for you?”
Sasuke watched as Itachi brought the tobacco stick to his lips and drew in a heavy drag, releasing it slowly as the smoke curled around him. Sasuke knew he was staring but he couldn’t help it. The knowledge that Itachi’s lips were where his were moments ago was the most erotic thing that his lust crazed mind could wrap around. “Then why are you smoking it?”
“Because I can.” Itachi purred and the sound went straight to Sasuke’s cock.
Sasuke shifted uncomfortably on the hood and glared at his brother, fighting hard to hid the fact that he was so hard that he would probably cum if his brother even breathed on him. “Why are you here?”
“I’m finished with work. Why are you here? Don’t you know it’s dangerous to lie out here like that? If I ever fucking catch you out here like that again I will throw you across my knee and spank your ass raw.” Itachi’s playfulness had melted to worry and anger. When he’d seen Sasuke lying there, deaf to the world, he’d wanted to walk over to him, pull down his pants, and fuck him into the car He figured that anyone else seeing him would have thought the same thing. It had taken several seconds to get control before he even approached his brother.
“You aren’t my master! Go fuck your little toy and leave me alone.” Sasuke was so angry. He needed someone, no he needed Itachi, to take him in their arms and love him. It wasn’t sex at this point; he just wanted Itachi to take care of him. He wanted to be the person that Itachi wanted.
“Don’t talk about Naruto that way.” growled Itachi, warningly.
“Why the fuck not? It’s true. You bought him and brought him to our home. At least I saw you before he was around. Now I’m alone because you would rather fuck him than even talk to me. That’s it. Fuck commissions. I’m out. Don’t worry, Itachi, I’m moving out and leaving you to him.” Sasuke jumped off his hood and strode angrily towards the elevator. Fuck Itachi. He was through. He couldn’t take this shit anymore. Let the two of them have each other.
Itachi felt anger melt into panic at Sasuke’s words. Not thinking, he strode quickly after Sasuke, catching the angry young man by his arm. Sasuke swung around, his fist clenched in a punch that Itachi stopped with his free hand. Fingers bruised tender flesh as he pushed Sasuke against the wall.
Sasuke’s breath was pushed from his lungs with the force of his collision to the stone wall of the garage area. Turning angry eyes to his brother, he readied for a fight. It was too much. His sanity was at its wits end. Seeing the fear in Itachi’s own eyes made him freeze.
Itachi felt fear overwhelm him and his fingers clenched even tighter on the flesh. He knew it would bruise under his grip but couldn’t prevent himself from burying his fingers deep in the flesh. Let everyone see his mark on Sasuke. Let anyone know he was taken. Itachi’s fingers dug even more harshly into Sasuke’s arm.
“What did I tell you this morning? You belong to me and I’m not letting you go.”
“Tachi…you’re hurting me.” Sasuke struggled against his brother but Itachi only firmed his grip.
“Hurt? I’m hurting you? No one threatens me, not even you.”
Itachi watched the play of emotions across Sasuke’s face. His brother never was good at hiding himself. Anger, frustration, disgust,…lust? Itachi narrowed his eyes and pressed close. Releasing one of Sasuke’s arms he tilted up the thin chin so that black eyes met black eyes. Unlike his own which were made of obsidian, Sasuke’s eyes were a shade lighter. They showed so much more than Itachi would ever allow his own to express.
The pain only added fuel to the flame that was burning in Sasuke’s loins. Itachi was close. He could feel the brush of the suit slacks tickling his crotch though the jeans. He’d never been this hard in his life. Even pressed against the wall this morning didn’t compare to the lust that was running through his bloodstream at this very moment.
Itachi was hard. He tried to think of Naruto and how much he cared for the blonde but he couldn’t stop the flood of heat through his brain at the sensation of having Sasuke in his arms. Tightening his grip on his brother’s jaw, Itachi lowered his eyes to watch at the slightly parted lips. They glistened dark pink and quivered slightly under his gaze.
Running his thumb along that quivering lower lip, Itachi watched as Sasuke’s eyes drifted shut and his tongue darted out to taste the teasing thumb. Heat that was already burning transformed into molten lava. Growl rumbling in his chest, Itachi released Sasuke’s chin and buried his hand in the spiky hair.
Tugging on the locks, Itachi forced Sasuke to arch his neck to an almost painful angle. His eyes zeroed in on the love bite that he’d seen that morning. It seemed even darker this afternoon. Tightening his grip he lowered his face so that his nose brushed the slightly sweat dampened skin. “If I ever see you with that boy again, I will kill him. You’re mine.”
Drawing the skin surrounding the hickey into his mouth, Itachi sucked hard. His hand tightened in silky locks while the other released its grip on Sasuke’s arm and traveled to his waist. Snarling into the skin, he bit harder. Drawing the flesh between his teeth, he listened with relish to the cries of Sasuke that echoed though the garage.
Lifting his head, he gazed proudly at the hickey. The small bruise was now twice its original size and very red. Sasuke shifted and pressed his erection against Itachi. “Please, aniki.”
The words snapped Itachi out of his lust crazed madness. He released Sasuke and stepped back, a blush of shame spreading across his checks. He watched as Sasuke writhed against the wall and sent a pleading look his way.
“Please…”
“No. Go to your apartment.” Itachi turned from Sasuke and stared at the wall, his hands in fists.
“Itachi…”
“I said fucking leave me alone. I don’t want you here.” The moment the words left his lips, Itachi regretted them. Swiveling around, he looked at his brother just in time to see the hurt spread across his features.
“Sasuke, I…” Sasuke didn’t wait to hear the rest. He jumped into his car and tore out of the garage as if the demons of hell were on his heels.
Itachi watched him go. Despair weighed heavily on him as the smoke from the car cleared. Unclenching his fists, the great CEO of Uchiha Inc., fought against the urge to lie down and cry. His heart felt torn in two pieces. One piece belonged to his beloved Naruto, while the other belonged to Sasuke. They were so equally created that he knew he would never be able to say he loved one more than the other.
Running a hand across his face, he debated leaving but he couldn’t do that to Naruto. The blond had only recently begun to fully trust him. It would not be long before he was privy to all the secrets he hid away. Walking slowly towards the elevator that would carry him to his floor, Itachi forced his emotionless mask in place before entering the apartment.
“Tachi!” Naruto was all smiles and nearly tackled him as he greeted him at the door.
“Naruto.” Itachi smiled a little and ran his fingers through the golden locks that shone nearly as brightly as his smile.
Naruto’s smile faltered a little as he looked at Itachi’s face. Something was wrong. Itachi might use the mask in the presence of others but when it was just the two of them he smiled warmly and showed himself. “Tachi? What’s wrong?”
Itachi stiffened before setting the blonde aside and walking towards the bar set up in the corner. Pouring two fingers of Glenlivet scotch, Itachi downed it quickly, ignoring the burn and pouring another.
Naruto was panicking now. Itachi had never come in the apartment like this. He rarely saw him drink more than wine but now he was watching him down scotch like it was going out of style. Racing across the room, Naruto grabbed Itachi’s wrist before he could pour a third.
Itachi turned flashing eyes towards his lover. “Let go, Naruto.”
“Don’t drink. Please…I don’t want to see you drunk…not like him. Please Itachi, stop.” Naruto begged, and buried his face in Itachi’s chest.
Itachi’s hand fell limp and he simply stood there as Naruto cried into his chest. The heart-rending sobs forced Itachi out of his madness and he brought a hand up to stroke the blond spikes that shook with every shuddering cry.
“I’m not going to drink any more, little Caramel.” Itachi forgot his need to drink as watery blue eyes lifted to gaze hopefully at his. Running his thumb over the quivering lip, Itachi felt ashamed to have brought such despair to Naruto. The boy was nothing but love and laughter and he’d forced him into tears and sorrow.
Taking a slender tan hand in his own, Itachi pulled Naruto towards the large sofa and settled on it, tugging Naruto down so that he could snuggle to his side. Gently stroking the soft blonde locks, Itachi turned his intelligent eyes to his lover. “Why does it bother you so much if I get drunk?”
Naruto sniffled and buried his face deeper in the lapels of Itachi’s suit. “My Otousan started drinking after my Okaasan got sick. We never had a lot of money but we got by pretty well until she was diagnosed with cancer. Otousan started drinking when she was declared terminal. Any extra money went to buy liquor. When I went home after okasan died in the hospital, there was no food and no power. All the money for groceries and utilities was being drunk away by my father who was sitting in the dark. She was buried in Potter’s field because we didn’t even have the money to pay for her to be buried. Instead of a headstone, she has a small plaque with numbers instead of her name. 7489 is the monument to her life.”
“I’m sorry, Naruto.”
“Not your fault.” The words were muffled against his chest.
Itachi stroked the golden locks as he thought about a lot of things. He thought about Sasuke and his sultry dark eyes. He thought about Naruto and his joyous nature. He thought about which he was willing to lose in order to keep the other.
“I’m not letting you go, Naruto.” Itachi whispered and Naruto sat up and looked curiously at Itachi.
“What do you mean?”
“Just a decision I came to. How about we order some take out and just relax.” Naruto nodded in agreement and Itachi ordered a pizza.
“Umm, Tachi. Can we invite Sasuke? I feel really bad that I’ve been keeping you from seeing him. He and I had lunch today and it was really nice. I think we might be getting along better so that means you can start inviting him to dinner again.” Naruto bounced joyously on the sofa.
“Sasuke was leaving as I came in.” Itachi turned on some soft jazz and pulled Naruto into his arms. Leaning down he kissed the blonde, running his tongue over the velvety soft lips before dipping inside to taste. Naruto tasted fresh, with a light bit of peppermint from gum. Pulling back, he nibbled down the soft throat, breathing in the delicious scent.
Frowning, he breathed in deep and caught a faint trace of Sasuke’s cigarettes and aftershave. Growling, he couldn’t resist the added desire that shot through him. Naruto alone was a heady experience but now with the scent of Sasuke on him, Itachi was nearly forced into madness.
“Ughh, so good.” moaned Naruto as Itachi pressed him in the wall, his thigh going between the blonde’s legs to press against his growing erection.
Itachi buried his nose in Naruto’s neck to keep the scent flowing through his senses. He gripped Naruto tightly and groaned as heat burst through him. This wasn’t like before when he used Naruto as a substitute for Sasuke. This was as if Naruto and Sasuke were here with him. The thought of having them both in the same bed sent shivers across his spine. The thought of watching Sasuke take Naruto caused him to grasp Naruto’s thighs and press tightly into his clothed crotch.
Naruto moaned in pleasure as Itachi thrust against him. They ground together in heated passion. The heat kept building and neither was able to deny the heated lava that coursed through their veins. It ended far too soon but was no the less, pleasurable for both.
Naruto cried out and spilled himself in his jeans while Itachi continued to roll his hips, attempting to gain more friction. Naruto whimpered at the pressure against his sensitive crotch.
Still lost in the fantasy of them both in his bed, Itachi bit Naruto’s shoulder hard to prevent names from being uttered as his cock exploded in wet heat. Slumping against Naruto, Itachi panted and pulled back in time to see the dark blush of satisfaction that spread across his lover’s cheeks.
Itachi groaned and released Naruto. The blonde smiled and combed his fingers through Itachi’s long hair. He purred and leaned into the touch. The older Uchiha loved having his hair stroked.
A knock at the door drew a sigh from the taller man. “It’s the take out.”
Grabbing his wallet and wincing at the feel of wetness in his trousers, Itachi opened the door and froze at the sight of two police officers. “Itachi Uchiha?”
“Yes?”
“Are you the brother of Sasuke Uchiha?” asked the taller of the two officers.
“What has he done now?” Itachi growled out the question. Sasuke had never been the type to get into trouble until high school when he fell in with a bad crowd. For the most part, in the last few months he’d calmed down and pretty much been a model citizen.
The next words sent Itachi staggering against the door, pain now visible on his face. The horror that spiraled rapidly through his mind forced the normally cool Itachi to clutch at the door as if it was his lifeline.
“Sasuke Uchiha was taken to Kohoha Memorial Hospital after being injured in a car accident.”
~To be continued.
