Chapter 2
Thank you to those who reviewed and to those who didn't for taking the time to read my story. Enjoy the new chapter.

Naruto walked around the halls of his school heading for his homeroom. He passed by the commons area, where a bunch of the kids would hang out with their friends until the bell rang. As he passed by the first table, he caught sight of the football team and the cheerleaders, talking and laughing about the game last week. He looked over and saw his best friend with his slut girlfriend sitting on his lap.
‘The happy couple, back together again.’
He kept walking to his class but didn’t see the look of longing coming from one raven haired football star. Once he was inside his homeroom, he made his way to the piano in the back. He started playing one of his original songs. His fingers danced across the keys and he lost himself in his own world. This was the only way he could stop thinking about Sasuke. How much he loved him, how much he wanted to be with him, how much he wanted to take that stupid whore and slam her ugly face into-
“HEY! NARUTO!”
Naruto open his eyes that he hadn’t realized were closed. Looking for the voice that shouted his name, he saw his friend, Sakura at the door waving at him.
“Get over here! I wrote you a song!”
Naruto grinned at his friend and walked over to her. Sakura was an extremely talented singer with an equally amazing talent for writing songs. The two of them had always dreamed of making it big and starting their own band.
“That’s great! You have to sing it for me.” Naruto replied, slinging his arm around her shoulder as they walked to the auditorium.
Once inside the room, Naruto saw his other friend Ino with her guitar slung around her shoulder, strumming notes. He and Sakura made their way over to her and the microphone that was also on the stage. Sakura walked up to the microphone and turned it on. She turned to Naruto and smiled.
“I wrote this song with my awesome friend Naruto in mind.”
“Sakura, I’m standing right here.” Naruto said with a laugh.
Sakura smiled and nodded over to Ino. Ino smiled back and started playing the song on her guitar. Sakura leaned into the microphone and started singing.
“You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she’s upset, she's going off about something that you said 'cause she doesn't get your humor like I do. I'm in the room, it's a typical Tuesday night, I'm listening to the kind of music she doesn't like, she’ll never know your story like I do”
Naruto’s jaw dropped as he heard the song. It was about his feelings for Sasuke.
“She wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts. She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers, dreaming about the day when you wake up and find that what you're looking for has been here the whole time. If you could see that I'm the one who understands you. Been here all along, so why can't you see? You belong with me, you belong with me.”
A smile spread across Naruto’s face as he listened to the song. He was so wrapped up in the music he didn’t hear the doors behind him open.
“Walking the streets with you and your worn out jeans, I can't help thinking this is how it ought to be, Laughing on a park bench thinking to myself, Hey, isn't this easy? And you've got a smile that could light up this whole town; I haven't seen it in awhile since she brought you down. You say you're fine I know you better than that, hey what you doing with a girl like that”
Behind Naruto, Karin was leaning against the door. She was listening to her boyfriend’s friend’s play their stupid little song.
‘What are these freaks doing? If they don’t get out of here soon, I won’t be able to drag Suigetsu in here before the bell rings.’ She thought as she watched them.
“She wears high heels, I wear sneakers. She's cheer captain and I’m on the bleachers, dreaming about the day when you wake up and find that what you're looking for has been here the whole time. If you could see that I'm the one who understands you. Been here all along, so why can't you see you belong with me. Standing by and waiting at your backdoor. All this time how could you not know, baby, you belong with me, you belong with me.”
Naruto was smiling as he watched Sakura sing the song. He couldn’t believe she wrote a song for him. It was without a doubt the sweetest thing she had ever done for him.
“Oh, I remember you driving to my house in the middle of the night, I'm the one who makes you laugh when you know you're about to cry and I know your favorite songs and you tell me about your dreams
Think I know where you belong, think I know it's with me. Can't you see that I'm the one who understands you, been here all along so why can't you see? You belong with me. Standing by and waiting at your backdoor, all this time how could you not know, baby? You belong with me, you belong with me.
Have you ever thought just maybe, you belong with me?”
Sakura finished the song and smiled at her friend. Naruto stood there, a huge smile spread across his face.
“So what do you think?”
“It’s awesome! I can’t believe you wrote that for me!”
Naruto ran to Sakura and hugged her. He picked her up and spun her around then gently put her down. He walked over to Ino and did the same, mindful of her guitar.
“Thank you guys so much. It was beautiful.”
“Well, we were hoping that it might help when you tell Sasuke you love him.”
Suddenly the mood in the room changed. Naruto’s smile faltered. Behind him, hiding, Karin’s jaw dropped.
“I’m not telling Sasuke I love him! What made you think that?” Naruto shouted.
“Well why not? Maybe the whole reason he’s dating Karin is to make you jealous in hopes that you will confess your feelings for him?” Sakura replied trying to lighten the mood.
Naruto rolled his eyes and made his way to the exit. Why would he tell Sasuke? Sasuke was straight and had a girlfriend! An annoying, evil girlfriend that needed to jump off a bridge but that wasn’t the point.
“Naruto, wait!”
Naruto stopped and turned around to look at Sakura.
“I really do like the song Sakura and I’m flattered you wrote it for me. But I can’t tell Sasuke how I feel. He wouldn’t understand. He’d hate me.”
Naruto left the room with Sakura and Ino right behind him. Once they were gone, Karin came out of hiding. She had an evil grin on her face as she thought about all this new information that she’d just learned. No way was she gonna let them take Sasuke away from her. And now she had a plan that would permanently remove those freaks out of Sasuke’s life for good.
