Dark Savior

A/N: There will be a brief HET scene in this chapter. I know I´m known to write yaoi only but this little smutty scene will make sense later on batte ba!

02) Consequence

Sakura stared right ahead of herself when she and her teammates were well on their way home after their meeting with Sasuke. They had decided to return to Konoha and give the Uchiha´s demands to Tsunade since they couldn´t make any kind of deal without her permission.

“Naruto is doomed,” Kiba groaned while riding Akamaru´s back. He was holding the sealed scroll that the Uchiha had given them, explaining that it held his conditions for coming back. Team Shino had no idea what the scroll contained but they were pretty sure that Sasuke wasn´t asking for money.

“Don´t say that,” Iruka argued. “Maybe Tsunade-sama can offer Sasuke-kun something good in return for coming back here.”

“Like what?” Kiba asked while peeking at Shino who had been silent ever since they left the Uchiha heir four hours ago. “He has made it pretty clear that he isn´t particular interested in his ancestral home or his family´s money. Other than to remove the bounty on his head what more can the Hokage do?”

They had told the arrogant man that they would deliver his terms to Tsunade before they could give him an answer, and they were pretty sure that the hot tempered woman would decline his invitation to meet with the Uchiha face to face, even if it would doom their blonde friend to a future in captivity and isolation… or even worse; death.

“Oh stop it!” Sakura hissed. She too wanted to be able to persuade Sasuke to help Naruto and that she would do anything to help the lovable blonde, but it wasn´t her decision to make. All they could really do was to deliver the raven´s invitation to a meeting and wait for the Hokage to give her answer.

Tsunade let out a sigh; she had long ago lost count on how many times she had done that today, especially since she had entered the council´s office a little more than 2 hours ago. She had been called to a meeting to discuss Naruto´s condition and future, and right now it didn´t look good for her Gaki.

“Do you have a better solution, Tsunade-Hime?” Homura asked her when she didn´t comment on his idea on how to deal with the jinchuuriki´s current condition. She really hated that old fart and wondered why he hadn´t retired yet, he had to be at least 90 years old, if not more. “If he attacks anyone because he loses control then I have to insist that we-”

“…My seal should be sufficient to do the trick which would make your solution-”

“Tsunade-Hime!” Homura said in a patronizing tone while cleaning his glasses. “You have yet to prove that your seal actually works which means that the preparations for my idea should be initiated right away. I say it is better to be prepared for every situation, and Naruto-kun has lost his control more than once in his life.” He talked to her as if she was a child, like she wasn´t worthy of the job that they forced her to take after Sarutobi-sama had died now nearly seven years ago.

Tsunade wanted to wipe that way too satisfied smirk off his face and drag him down to sub level 7 to show him how much Naruto suffered while they did nothing but make sick jokes about it.

“I have no saying in this, do I?” the blonde woman growled while wishing that Shizune was here to support her… but she, Chouji and Kakashi had been on a mission to Suna these last few weeks. The Kazekage had been attacked by some unknown enemy, and since Konoha and Suna were allies the Hokage had sent a team to help Gaara to track down the ones who were responsible… even though the Kazekage was very capable to take care of himself.

The world was still filled with evil and now Naruto was in the danger zone as well. She wasn´t going to let him die… even if it meant that she would accept Homura´s crazy solution… at least it was a better solution than to end Naruto´s life permanently. “Don´t answer that… I agree to the councils ruling. We have to think about Konoha´s safety… The protection of the entire city is more important than to save one life… I guess.”

“Then give the order to build the device, Tsunade-Hime,” Homura said and smirked at her. “It will be our back-up plan if the seal doesn´t work, or if he attacks anyone.”

Hinata face was burning with heat which wasn´t really that odd since she was standing naked in front of the man she had been hopelessly in love with for many years… or rather a growling version of him anyway.

The leaking seal had turned the jinchuuriki into an animal that was slowly approaching her. She could easily see that he had no control over himself and neither had the Kyuubi, he was a creature that reacted purely on instinct which was why Hinata had decided to strip for him.

She was alone with Naruto and she couldn´t get out of the soundproof room for another hour, and consensual sex with her crush seemed to be a better solution that to end up as his breakfast.

The young woman swallowed the lump in her throat when the blonde crawled on all fours towards her, sniffing the air to determine what or who she was. He circled around her, seizing her up with slithered orange colored eyes, moving closer and closer to her exposed skin.

A delightful shiver ran down her spine when the tip of his nose brushed against her thigh before a slick tongue swiped along her creamy skin. Hinata had never in her wildest dreams imagined that it would feel like this to have him touch her like that.

The testing licks were soft, warm and yet firm… and she liked it a lot.

Strong hands dragged her drown onto her knees so fast that she let out a surprised yelp in response to the slightly rough treatment. A throaty growl dared her to make a run for it, but she would never deny him anything. Instead of being frightened she smiled shyly and slid her arms around Naruto´s strong neck, gently pulling herself closer to him before stealing a chaste kiss from him, just like she had done when he had still been sleeping.

The kiss seemed to inspire the foxy blonde who now nearly devoured her mouth in a hungry kiss. Sharp fangs piercing her lip and mixed her red blood with their saliva, which made her wince at the metallic taste that filled her mouth.

It was a new kind of experience for her and Hinata allowed him to dominate the kiss, and dominate her. She instinctly moaned when his tongue connected with hers, the delightful feeling made her entire body tremble in need.

Her willingness seemed to make the possessed nin be less rough in his actions towards her. He didn´t restrain her when a wet mouth trailed along her vulnerable throat and sharp claws left no marks along her smooth skin when tanned hands caressed her body.

His hands stopped wandering when they reached two soft globes and began kneading her voluminous breasts before his tongue swiped over a perk nipple.

“Ah N-Naruto,” Hinata whimpered in delight. The feeling of his hands and mouth on her body along with the soft, stingy pain of the shallow scratch marks on her arm turned her on and she wanted him to do so much more to her.

A hungry mouth devoured lip-gloss covered lips, tongues rubbing feverishly against each other while a growling blonde was busy stripping himself bare.

The young woman had been pretty sure that it would have hurt when he had entered her body, but she hadn´t felt any pain at all. Maybe she hadn´t felt any pain because his teeth where buried in her neck or because his hands were caressing her breasts…or maybe it was the combination of both, Hinata didn´t really care because this felt like heaven.

They lay naked on the floor, rocking against each other. Hinata was lost in the ecstasy of having rather rough sex with the man of her dreams. She clung to Naruto´s sweat covered body, moaning his name and earned herself some very lusting growls in return. The Hyuuga heiress never wanted it to end but of course it did eventually.

After their mind blowing climax they lay, all tangled up in each other’s embrace, out of breath and with flushing red faces because of the heat that filled their bodies.

“H-Hinata?” Naruto asked when he regained control over himself. He looked at the naked woman beneath him in confusion because he hadn´t realized what he had been doing to her. “Are you alright?”

“Oh yeah, I´m fine,” she purred and blushed at their nakedness. He didn´t seem to mind being naked around her at all though he seemed a bit embarrassed to look at her bare skin.

“Um… I guess we should get dressed before the next team arrives here to relieve y-” the reinforced door opened, and Hinata´s replacement along with the Hokage and a medic stepped into the room before they saw the two naked teens on the floor.

Tsunade paced the hospital room. She was waiting for the results of the examination of Hinata after she had dragged the stuttering girl out of the quarantine room, and away from a flabbergast Naruto.

The new seal wasn´t working and even though Hinata claimed that he hadn´t hurt her or done anything she didn´t consent to he had still attacked her…and that meant that she as the Hokage was forced to make sure that something like that would never happen again. Shino´s team still hadn´t reported back to her which gave her no reason or excuse to stall the council´s orders.

“Lady Hokage?” Tsunade flinched when she felt a hand on her shoulder and she realized that Hiashi Hyuuga, Hinata´s father was talking to her.

“Yes?” she asked him.

“The results of Hinata´s test are back,” the long haired man told her. “They did have sex, but other than a few superficial bruises, scratches and…um love bites my daughter is unharmed. She refuses to file a complaint against Naruto-kun, and since it is common knowledge that she loves him I can´t say that Naruto-kun did anything illegal.”

“But the other council members will still claim that he is dangerous,” Tsunade said and sighed. “I…I should probably go and talk to my gaki about it, is there anything you want me to tell him Hiashi-san?”

“…I am not angry with him, and I don´t hate him…I want Naruto-kun to know that he is welcome to visit Hinata if he…when he get out of his quarantine. I know that this isn´t his fault and I am sure that my daughter would be glad if she would be allowed to see him before the ceremony will be carried out.”

“I will tell him that, and I am sure that I can arrange that Hinata-chan will be able to see him soon,” and with that said she left the Hyuuga leader alone to see Naruto.

“How is Hinata?” was the first thing that Naruto asked after Tsunade entered his room. Four ANBU had been keeping their eyes on him ever since the Hyuuga heir had left the room. His condition had stabilized a bit since the sexual release and even the fever had subdued immensely. Naruto didn´t feel great by any means, but he could think clearly again now that the pain wasn´t so bad anymore… and he felt really, really bad for what he did to Hinata.

“She is fine and wants to see you, her father approves and says that you´ll be welcome at their home once you´re healed.” She touched his forehead, his skin was still warm with fever and she knew that his improvement was nothing but a temporarily delay of his too quickly approaching demise. “Naruto… I need you to come with me.”

“Why? Where to?” the jinchuuriki asked.

“To the bottom level of this facility where I will do the only thing I can do to save your life.”

“But what about Sasuke? Neji told me that Sakura and Iruka were-” Naruto went silent when the Hokage raised her hand to wordlessly ask him to shut up.

“They won´t make it back here in time… you are dying gaki. You´re body is burning up and you lost control over your actions. Hinata loves you and wanted sex with you but what if it had been someone else? What if it had been Sakura, Ten-Ten or Ino, and who knows what will happen next time. You could end up killing someone…or even destroy the city…and if that were to happen then-”

“Then you would have to kill me,” Naruto muttered and felt despair overwhelm him yet again. “Alright, I´ll do whatever you think is best.”

Sasuke stared at the sky while taking a break from his travels. ´What a perfectly blue sky, ` he thought to himself and sighed when the distant memory of eyes which color was made of a clearer blue than this sky could ever be filled his mind. ´Blue like the clear waters near the country of the Moon… or a sapphire, yeah that would be a better comparison… and just as valuable. `

His mind reminded him of the look and scent of his former teammate and he frowned at the realization that someone had hurt the Dobe on purpose… and no one but him was allowed to hurt the Usuratonkachi.´…I wonder what kind of jutsu the Cloud nin used to make the Dobe´s seal break? Hm maybe I should investigate a little bit, just out of curiosity of course…and the leaf won´t have an answer for me for another week or two anyway… and it´s not like the Dobe is going anywhere in his current condition.`

Naruto felt a little bit strange when the three masked ANBU that used to be some of his best colleagues and friends lead him into a rather big room that was filled with computers, strange machines, tubes and wires that were lined up along the walls.

He knew that they cared for him and that Tsunade had handpicked them to be here at this very moment, which meant that only a selected few knew what was going to happen to him. Naruto tried not to think so much about it and instead he focused on his new surroundings.

In the center of the room there was a circular platform to which the blonde nin was escorted before the ANBU stepped back. They knew that Naruto wouldn´t cause them any trouble, and the captain with the rat mask didn´t step back before giving the barely clothed blonde´s shoulder a reassuring pat. Shikamaru wanted to show his friend that he and the others still stood by his side.

Naruto barely noticed the Nara heir´s gesture when he saw the complicated kanji written in blood on the floor, and he instantly knew that it was some kind of sealing jutsu even if he didn´t know their meaning. He had never seen a more complex seal before and he got the strange feeling that he wouldn´t like how this jutsu would affect him which made him frown.

“Gaki, are you alright?” Tsunade asked when she approached the younger blonde with a blushing Hinata trailing right behind her. “How do you feel?”

“Um I don´t feel so good, this is very uncomfortable and no one has been willing to tell what is about to happen to me.” Naruto didn´t like the worried and sad looks on the two women’s faces and knew that he wasn´t going to like whatever was going on, but it wasn´t like he had much opportunity to say no.

He felt exposed and very naked since the ANBU and medics had insisted upon that he would strip down to his boxers, apparently due to the Hokage´s orders. “Please tell me what´s going on, I believe that I at least deserve that much.”

“…Yeah, you do,” the blonde Hokage said and sighed loudly. She hated to give good people bad news, and Naruto was one of the good guys no matter what the council said. “You know that your condition is very serious, right.”

“Yes.” Naruto was aware of that; it was his body that was slowly being destroyed from the inside out after all.

“The Kyuubi´s chakra is poisoning you and even though the demon is trying to heal you, it won´t succeed. It isn´t yours or Kyuubi´s fault and yet both of you will die unless we find a way to repair the seal-”

“I know that already,” the whisker marked nin growled in light annoyance. Why was she telling him what he knew already? Why couldn´t she just tell him what was going on instead of beating around the bush.

“We are running out of time… or to be exact you are running out of time. You will be dead within a few days if we don´t do anything, and since I haven´t heard from Sakura´s team I must assume that they haven´t been able to locate Sasuke yet,” Tsunade told him and felt like she could use a stiff drink right about now. He looked troubled and sad, and there was nothing that she could do or say that would make this situation more positive… it was rather the other way around.

“And that means?” the jinchuuriki asked softly while locking eyes with a softly whimpering Hinata who had already been informed about what was going to happened to Naruto.

“We are going to freeze your body till we find a foolproof solution that will save your life,” Tsunade said and noticed how sapphire blue eyes focused on her and widened at her statement while his lips parted in shock.

“Freezing me…won´t that kill me?” He knew that his condition was getting worse, and that his rapidly returning fever was being kept at bay with the chakra suppressors, and the pain dulled with strong medication… but he still felt like it was a big step going from isolation to being sealed into a block of ice.

“We will inject you with a fluid that will make your body and mind slow down so that you will still be alive the entire time. You will end up in a state of hibernation, so basically you´ll sleep till we find a cure. The ice will keep you from aging and it will stop the damage that is slowly killing you as we speak.”

“…so how long will I be trapped in the ice?” Naruto asked. He wasn´t sure how to react and with the demon fox constantly talking to him, begging him to make the pain the trapped demon felt stop, it was hard for Naruto to think. The whiskered nin felt like screaming but that would only make everyone more wary of him than they already were, and he surely didn´t need that right now.

“It is hard to say but we hope that it´ll only be a few weeks, a month at most,” the Hokage reassured him before giving Hinata the sign that she could come closer to Naruto now. “I will let you say goodbye to Hinata now… is there anyone else you want me to call?”

“Sakura and Iruka aren´t here… and Kakashi is still at Suna, right?” the young man asked after embracing a sobbing Hinata who continued to whisper that she didn´t want this to happen to him.

“I was hoping that they would be home today… I would have loved to wait another day but we can´t,” Tsunade said while watching the team of sealing specialist get ready. “Is there anyone else you would like to see?”

“…Um no, I…would you tell my team and friends that I…” Naruto wasn´t sure what he would want her to tell his friends…Maybe that he was sorry… but for what? This wasn´t his fault. He could ask her to say something personal to his team but he wasn´t allowed to tell them anything specific, and they knew that he was proud of them…that he trusted them with his life… and a few of his teammates and friends were right here, hiding behind their porcelain masks… They knew what he was going through at this very moment even with no words said.

“I will let them know that you are looking forward to see them again soon,” the Hokage said while approaching him with a syringe filled with a clear blue fluid. “Are you ready?”

He nodded and gave Hinata a chaste kiss before the ANBU captain had to drag the sobbing girl off him. Hinata clung to the blonde nin, telling him over and over that she loved him and that she wouldn´t rest till he was free again.

Tsunade injected the young man with the bluish fluid while the sealing team drew the correct symbols onto his skin before kneeling at the edge of the sealing circle. Naruto watched them form the correct seals needed and mumble the words before Tsunade gave him a quick hug and stepped back.

“See you soon. Oh and gaki, close your eyes or they might get damaged.” She watched him nod at her before drawing in a deep breath and released it. And then sky blue eyes were covered by golden lids.

Clear bluish ice covered the sun kissed nin in a blink of an eye. He looked like a beautiful angel trapped the cold element and Tsunade wondered how long they would have to wait before they would be able to free him again.
