All The Small Things [ChoIno]
Disclaimer: Naruto belongs to Kishimoto-san. I own nothing and I make nothing from writing this.
Summary: Chouji asks a question. Pairing: Chouji x Ino Rating: PG Warnings: AU. A/N: This is ‘’Convictions’, the third vignette I’ve made. So far it’s up to eighty-two, so if there’s anyone out there with a Naruto request, this would be the time. Or maybe I’ll post descriptions of all of the chapters so you can choose. Let me know, okies? J P.S. This one is actually a request by overlordofnobodies. I hope it’s what you had in mind. XD And for future requests, please leave me some details! My first time writing Ino x Chouji. Hope you guys enjoy it. Here’s the second short story. All The Small Things Chouji looked nervously up at the flower shop sign, which was labeled ‘Yamanaka’ in big, bold letters. He breathed out a sigh as he pushed the door open, heading to the back of the shop where his favorite blonde was watering some of the plants. “Hey, Ino.” He smiled, shoving his hands into the pocket of his hoodie, blushing. The girl turned to look at him, almost dropping her watering can as she turned to smile at him. “Sorry if, um, you’re busy or something. “ Chouji scratched his cheek, embarrassed for catching Ino so off guard. “Not busy anymore now that you’re here. What’s up, Chouji?” She chirped, putting her can down and wiping her damp hands on her apron. Chouji followed her to the front of the shop, almost like a love sick puppy, come to think of it. He blushed again, fiddling with a loose string on his pants. “I actually wanted to ask you out on a date.” The boy smiled nervously, mentally crossing his fingers. Ino opened her mouth in surprise, blushing just as dark as the boy next to her. “You can say no if you don’t want to. I’d understand, you know.” Ino snorted as she grabbed a rose from behind her, handing it to the chubby boy, letting her fingers linger on his arm. “When and where?” She asked. “Tonight when you get off work. And you can choose the place.” Chouji grinned, writing his cell on a post-it-note he’d swiped from the counter and handing it to her. “Call me as soon as you’re done. I’ll pick you up here, okay?” Ino smiled and nodded, tucking the note into the back pocket of her jeans. Chouji left the flower shop, relieved she’d said yes. Life was good.
