Land Of The Deadly Love

"He is a forth year class A.." Sasuke mumbled and tried to act like he wasn't concerned yet his eyes were darting everywhere trying to find his older brother. "I am fine Gaara-kun," Lee told Gaara when he got to the other side and he pulled himself up and he sat on the edge rubbing his arms that were yelling at him for using them to a strain like that, but after a moment he stood up perfectly fine. "Glad to see you two are ok!" He yelled grinning and hugged them both then gave a small sad look looking over the edge at Sakura as a zombie. "Too bad she is not.."



Gaara couldn't help but start walking around Lee to check for injury then reached up using his sleeve to whip blood off his friends face. "Are you ok?...I'm sorry about before.." He said and looked at the building Lee had gotten away from. "Is that building over run?" He asked.

Lee nodded to Gaara, "Those things are everywhere. I tried to find Naruto but I could not.." Then the male smiled, "Oh it is alright.. we fight.. but.. right now is not a time to be thinking about the silly past." Sasuke then rolled his eyes at the two and moved over to a ledge. His eyes turned to slits seeing his brother. "Itachi!" He yelled but the older male glanced back to the roof before shaking his head and running out of the gate of the school. "Damn it.." Sasuke muttered obviously vexed.



Gaara looked over at the gate and frowned a little. "Well...we should try and get away from the school.." He said and set his hand on Lee's shoulder finely feeling calm for a moment. He blinked hearing a odd noise that sounded like a paint ball gun. "What is that?" He asked looking around.



"Oh god.. Naruto!" Sasuke yelled and he moved over to a pipe that was on the building and he slid down it leaving Lee and Gaara for a moment. Lee watched as Sasuke ran over to the blond running backwards with a nail gun, shooting at the zombies. "Dobe that is too loud you are just gathering them!" He yelled at the blond and got near him knowing he would need help since the zombies were starting to surround him.



"Sasuke? Are you the only survivor??" Naruto asked his eyes wide and he ducked when a zombie tried to attack him. Gaara was happy to see the blond was alive and moved over to the pipe. "I knew he would be ok." He said to himself and watched more zombies stumble through the open gate.



"No Gaara and Lee are ok too!" Sasuke spat out as he slid the baton up in his hand and hit the zombie hard in the forehead with it. "Itachi is too now shut up for a second and duck down dobe," Sasuke said and he tossed the baton over against the link fence near them causing a lot of noise and then Sasuke moved down to the floor getting down low.



Naruto dropped to the ground next to the Uchiha and looked up to see Gaara trying to get down to them. 'Oh thank god they are ok...I just got to hope we will find everyone else.' He thought. Gaara started to try and climb down the pipe struggling a little since he had the sword in one hand. "Come one Lee.." He called glancing at his friend.



Lee blinked watching all the zombies stumbling around Naruto and Lee to get to the pipe and he took the sword from Gaara so he could get down easier. "Go on.." He said softly and started to slid down himself.



Gaara backed up from the pipe to give Lee room and gasped when he was suddenly knocked off his feet by one of the zombies. "D-Damn it.." He said putting his hands on the creatures chest to keep it from biting him. "Get the fuck off me!" He growled and swung his leg hitting the zombie in the ribs making it fall off him. He quickly got to his feet and jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder but relaxed when he saw it was the blond. "Come on let's get out of here." He said.



Lee got down and handed the sword back to Gaara before tying the cloth he had on his hands tighter. "Where should we go...?" He asked then blinked seeing the school nurse running over. "Good to see some kids are able to survive here, come on I was going to take the field trip bus, this way," She said to them and then turned running back to the teacher's parking lot.



Gaara pushed back one of the creatures as it got close to Lee then grabbed the older males arm and started running to where the nurse was going. Naruto fired the nail gun a few times trying to slow down a few of the zombies then looked over at Sasuke. "Let's go teme or you are gonna be zombie food." Naruto said and hurried after his friends.





"Oh shut up dobe," Sasuke growled out and ran after his friends. Tsunade opened the bus and watched the kids as they started to run into the van Gaara first then Naruto and then Sasuke and she piled into the bus as well. Tsunade started to try and start up the vehicle while the zombies bumped into the sides of the bus groaning and dragging their hands down the windows.



Naruto sat down next to Lee in the back seats and blinked looking at Gaara who was standing up. "Gaara sit down your gonna fall over when the bus moves." The blond said and Gaara shook his head staring at the windows. "I am not getting close to the glass with those zombie things right there.." Gaara replied and gripped onto the seat next to him.



Sasuke sat down next to the zombies not really noticing them and he closed his eyes trying to relax. Tsunade finally got the bus started up and slowly started to move a little worried that she could not run over the zombies. Lee got up and moved over to Gaara smiling and rubbing his shoulder, "Come on Gaara-kun relax."



Gaara sighed shakily and glanced up at Lee before looking back at the window. "I'm trying...everyone's gone..." He said his eyes saddening. Naruto looked out the window and frowned seeing how many zombies were gathering around and got up jumping over the seats till he was sitting behind Tsunade. "Come on! You got to remember they are dead..and we need to get the hell out of here. This bus can handle anything." He said grinning and set a hand on her shoulder.



Tsunade glared at him a little, "You are a student do not touch me..." Then she took a deep breath and floored the bus as fast as it would go starting to knock the zombies back forcing Lee and Gaara to fall back, Gaara hitting the seat with Lee on top of him from the sudden jolt.



"Told you to sit down." Naruto yelled back and laughed seeing that Gaara was blushing as red as his hair. "O-Ow...y-you ok L-Lee?" Gaara stuttered and set his hands on the older males shoulders. "Soo where are we going?" Naruto asked gripping the seat so he wouldn't fall off it.



"Oww... yeah I am ok.." Lee muttered and groaned a little and carefully got off of the redhead. Tsunade thought for a moment then handed back a bag she was carrying of common medicines and first aid supplies. "I think we should stop by the police station.. it would be best.." She said.

Gaara blushed and scooted over so Lee could sit next to him and he set his sword on the seat. Naruto looked through the bag and grinned when he found a band aid. "Oh finely! I bashed the top of my nose earlier when all this started." He said and put the band aid on the long cut across his nose. "Hey Sasuke anyone hurt back there?" The blond yelled wanting to make sure everyone was doing ok.



"No I made sure of that," Sasuke said then shifted and blinked. "Oh yeah, dobe I got you something," Sasuke said and pulled the gun out from the small of his back and handed it to the blond. Lee on the other hand leaned into Gaara for some comfort. "I am sorry about our argument before.." He mumbled.



"Holy shit how did you get that! Ooh and a nice model to." Naruto said and turned the safety on since they were in the bus, he then turned around in his seat so he could talk to the Uchiha. "Where were you when all this started? I ended up getting myself locked in the woodshop room." He said and handed Sasuke his nail gun so he could see it. Gaara blushed faintly and hesitated for a moment before resting his head on Lee's shoulder. "I'm sorry I said I hated you...I didn't mean it.. I was looking everywhere for you just to let you know." The redhead mumbled and closed his eyes feeling tired.



"I was out at gym. A teacher stumbled onto the track and everyone started freaking out, it just caused problems. And I found it in that class room in the class A section with that teacher who used to be a cop," Sasuke told Naruto not really wanting to ran much thought and he looked outside to see they were passing burning houses and more of 'them'. Lee on the other hand relaxed even more hearing what Gaara said. "I tried to find you and ended finding Sakura and she said that the area where your classrooms were over run and it was useless.. I freaked out but calmed down after that.." He admitted.



Naruto blinked when there was another thud which meant they ran over another zombie. "Hey this isn't zombie bowling you can drive around them if you want." He said raising a eye brow then looked back at Sasuke. "There might be other people still alive..I couldn't go check since all of the exits where blocked by the zombies." Gaara sweat dropped and narrowed his eyes a little at the blond. "Can we not use the Z word? This is freaky enough." Gaara said and struggled to keep his eyes open, he moved his backpack off then laid down on the seat his head next to Lee's leg. "I'm drained.." He muttered. "Eh? What else are we gonna call them? Walking road kill?...Oh hey that would be a sight a zombie deer." Naruto said laughing. The blond was freaked out just like everyone else but he was trying to stay happy.



"Yeah the Z word is a bit weird," Lee told Naruto and closed his eyes yawning a little, his stress starting to weigh him down. Tsunade took a turn and glared back at Naruto, "Baka I would prefer if you kept quiet this is hard enough." Meanwhile Sasuke leaned back against the window. "Did any of you see Sui-k... I mean Suigetsu?" He corrected himself.



"He stayed home today, so he should be ok..where is his house anyway?" Naruto asked then sweat dropped and climbed over the seat to plop down next to the black haired male so he wasn't bugging the nurse. "Gaara you should not lay like that you'll hurt your neck." He called looking back at the two sitting at the back of the bus. "Naruto...neck pain is the least of my worry's." Came the redhead's tired reply. "Hey Bushy-Brows would make a good pillow." Naruto said smirking making his friend blush.



"That is good.. luckily he lives over by the police station so I think I will leave and go find him..." He said and scooted a little to give Naruto room. "Why are you sitting next to me eh dobe?" Sasuke inquired the blond. Lee meanwhile was blushing and shifted moving down so that Gaara could lay down on the seat and rest his head on his lap.



Naruto smirked again and stuffed the gun in the side of his pants. "Sasuke...how come you know where he lives hmm?" He asked then playfully pushed his shoulder. "I can help you find him if you like." He added folding his arms behind his head. Gaara blushed darker and rolled onto his back looking up at his friend. "Thanks...you are always so kind." The redhead muttered and finely let his eyes close falling asleep.



Sasuke blushed and looked away. "I do not know what you are talking about Naruto you are delirious.." The Uchiha told him obviously embarrassed. "But thank you.. I would like some help in finding him.." He told his best friend. "You are welcome Gaara-kun.." Lee whispered and ran his hand through Gaara's hair to relax his friend. Tsunade kept driving them having to take side routes and everything. By the time they reached the police station it was night time and everyone on the bus had fallen asleep.  "Alright wake up guys," She said grabbing her bag and she looked around outside happy to see there were only a few zombies who had not paid attention to the noise of the bus.



Gaara was the first to snap awake and he sat up slowly rubbing his eyes, he blinked looking at Lee then gently shook his shoulder. "Good thing we got a bit of rest." He said and Naruto stretched then stood up popping his neck. "Hey Sasuke stop dreaming of your boyfriend and wake up." He said with a evil smile then chuckled and walked to the front of the bus before his friend could smack him. "Nice driving teach." The blond said cheerfully only to sweat drop when one of the zombies walked into the side of the bus then fell over.



Lee's eyes slowly opened and he yawned and stretched standing up. "Ugh, where are we?" He asked sleepily. Sasuke was cuddled into his arms, his school uniform ruffling and he murmured out, "Sui-kun a few more minutes.." Lee raised an eye brow when him and Gaara walked up the front of the bus. "Uhh.. is Sasuke ok?"



"Oh wow I actually got what he was dreaming about right. Wake up Sasuke or I will have Gaara wake you up." Naruto said and the redhead blinked then folded his arms after getting his backpack on. "Eh? Who is Sui-kun?" Gaara asked and looked at Lee frowning noticing he didn't have a weapon. "How did you make past so many of those things at the school?" He asked tilting his head not noticing the nurse had already gotten off the bus.



Sasuke blinked and sat up straight shaking his head. "What do you want dobe..?" He questioned and stood up moving passed them acting as if he was not dreaming about Suigetsu. Lee blinked and grinned raising his hands that were still tied by the cloth. "My hands and feet," He stated happily and went to get off the bus with Sasuke being quiet as they went into the police station.



Gaara unfolded his arms and held the sword tightly as he stepped off the bus and fallowed everyone inside. He wrinkled up his nose at the smell that met them and lifted a hand to cover his nose; he looked over and spotted a body that looked like it had been gutted laying over the front desk. "Lets just hope the rest of the place isn't like this.." Naruto said frowning and walked over to the desk picking up the phone and holding it to his ear. "Nothing...not even a dial tone.." The blond muttered and pulled the gun out of his pants and turned the safety off. "So where to?"



"We should get some weapons," The nurse said with a smart idea and walked to where the armory was but she could not get the door open. "I got it," Lee said still happy and acting like it was nothing big as he lifted his foot and kicked the door straight into the room. Sasuke rolled his eyes at Lee and slipped into the weapons room.



Gaara and Naruto both stared at Lee surprised then the blond patted him on the back. "Damn what do you do as a hobby?" He asked and glanced over as Gaara slide past them and into the room. "Uh...wow I am surprised no one else stopped here to get guns." Gaara said and tied the handle of the wooden sword to his backpack. "Heh we should find you a real one of those." Naruto said and picked up a duffel bag off the floor and started putting ammo and guns in it. "We should get extra in case we run into more saviors."



"Martial arts," Lee stated simply and walked over finding guns and starting to put them into bags for Naruto. "Oi Blondy let them get it for now. We will meet you guys back on the bus ok?" Sasuke said and he walked over to Naruto gently pulling on his jacket since he was worried about Suigetsu.



"Wow Lee." Gaara said and packed a few guns in a bag then blinked when he thought he heard something down a hallway that lead deeper into the building, slipping away he moved down the hallway to see what it was. Naruto stepped over the fallen door with Sasuke and handed him one of the shotguns. "Alright..can you work one of these? Just pull the trigger and things go boom." He said playfully then looked back at the nurse. "We will be right back we are checking a house near here." He said and the two left.



Sasuke refused to learn how though and just stuck with his baton and allowed Naruto to deal with the guns while they went to Suigetsu's home. The nurse was a bit concerned but thought they could be ok and started to check around for anything else useful. "Lee will you go check where Gaara went?" She asked softly and the male nodded and went to find Gaara.
