Chapter 2, was

I want to thank InvidiaRed for giving this story a review. I warms my heart, for it is a sign that there are others who read my stuff and, well, like them.

And now, onto chapter 2 :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ibiki bites a piece of his sandwich and chews. He lowers the document he is reading and swallows. Not because he was done chewing. No. Kakashi stands in front of him, porn open and hiding his face.

Gentle. The man wants gentle. Ibiki swallows again and sighs. How does a man do gentle? He doesn’t know. He is used to torture. He wipes his lips and rises to his feet. He may not know how to be gentle, but he can give it a shot.

“Good morning,” he says. He walks around his desk, towards Kakashi, and tries to remember moments between Asuma and Kurenai, before Asuma died. Those Shinobi were gentle with each other. He knows there was a fair amount of soft touches, small caresses and gentle looks exchanged between the two. He can do something like that. Something small. Yes. That’ll be the start of something gentle.

“Good morning,” Kakashi replies, without even lowering his porn.

Ibiki shakes his head at that. Yesterday night, just a mere hours ago, the man couldn’t keep his hands to himself. He even used a kunai to get Ibiki’s clothes off. And now he doesn’t spare as much as a glance?

Ibiki moves one hand up and hooks a fingers around the cover of Kakashi’s porn. He pulls it down. Slowly. Untill it is all the way down to Kakashi’s crotch.

“Good morning pup,” he says. He watches how Kakashi’s eye widens. He feels how a shiver runs through the man’s body. And he hears the man swallow.

“Good morning,” Kakashi says. He closes his book and puts it in the pocket of his vest. He coughs and moves his feet over the floor.

Ibiki nods and moves his hand up again, this time, placing it on Kakashi’s cheek. He leans in and nudges his forehead against Kakashi’s. “If I had known you’d be this early, I would’ve waited with eating my breakfast.”

Kakashi gasps. As does another person. Ibiki shifts to the side and stares at Anko. Her index finger is pointed towards them and her eyes are wide open.

Kakashi goes stiff, all over his body. Ibiki knows why. Getting discovered like this is not exactly a dream come true. Well, not for himself anyway. He only started with trying to be gentle. With Anko’s blabbering, everybody might think he’s already an expert.

“Don’t fret, pup,” Ibiki whispers. He decides it is better to ignore Anko. “I am not done with my breakfast yet. I’ll give you the rest. Sit down at my chair.” He moves his hand towards Kakashi’s back and pushes him towards the chair.

Anko is gone. His door is closed. Good.

Kakashi sits down. “I’m here to apologise,” he says. He stares at his hands. “For yesterday.”

Ibiki turns his back to him and grabs the sandwich. Gentle, he tells himself. Be gentle.

He turns back slowly and smiles. “Don’t fret, pup,” he says. He places an index finger on Kakashi’s nose. “I’m not mad.” He moves it down and sideways, where he hooks the tip around the edge of Kakashi’s mask. “It took a while to find every part of my clothing, but it was just a minor inconvenience.” He drags the mask down and holds the sandwich up. “Take a bite.”

Kakashi stares at him, with wide open eye. He opens his mouth, slowly, and takes the smallest bites Ibiki has ever seen. He barelt breaking off a piece of bread.

“A strong man like yourself needs more nutrients. Eat pup.” Ibiki chuckles.

Kakashi swallows and bites of a bigger piece.

“Good boy.” Ibiki nods and leans back. “Now, just answer by nodding or shaking your head. Do you have a mission?”

Kakashi shakes his head and swallows. Ibiki feeds him a new piece.

“Alright. Come here for lunch. I’ll take you somewhere. Are you going to train?”

Now, Kakashi nods. He chews on his piece of sandwich, swallows and opens his mouth. Clearly, ready to speak. Ibiki fills the gap with the sandwich. Again.

“Don’t exhaust yourself,” Ibiki says. He leans in and pushes his lips against Kakashi’s forehead. “You work hard. You deserve some rest.”

“Morino-sama, here are the…”

Ibiki widens his eyes. He is in front of Kakashi, so there is no risk of exposing his mask free face. But still, what is up with all these people, entering his office, at this hour of the day?

He tugs the mask back up and faces the newcomer. It’s Umino Iruka. That actually makes sense. The man holds a stack of papers. His face is red, bright red, and his eyes are shut. So tight, that there are a few wrinkles around his nose.

“I am here to deliver some papers. My apologies Morino-sama.” Umino-san shifts on his feet and raises his hand. “I need these signed.”

Ibiki turns back to Kakashi, and caresses his cheek. “I have some work now. You can go and train if you want.”

Kakashi nods and gets up. “I come back,” he says. He clears his throat. “I mean, well…” He shrugs.

Ibiki’s chest grows warm. Seeing the strong Copy nin act like this, it’s cute. In a strange way. But he finds that he doesn’t mind it.

Kakashi coughs, nods to Umino and opens the window. “See you,” he says and he jumps out.

Ibiki stares at the window and puts the last piece of his breakfast in his mouth. He chews and turns around, facing Umino.

The desk worker coughs and scratches the scar on his nose. He takes small steps, all the way to Ibiki’s desk, where he places the documents down.

“I know it is none of my business,” he says. He takes a deep breath. “But are you two in a relationship?”

Ibiki takes the first document and glances over the contents. Just the usual paperwork. Nothing strange. “Why do you want to know?” he asks, signing the document.

“Well…” Umino scratches the scar again.

“Are you romantically interested in him?” Ibiki asks. He signs another papers. “Do you want to be in a relationship with him?” Oh, how he longs for a fresh cup of coffee right now.

“What? Me?” Umino raises his hands and shakes his head. “I’m no good for him. I’m… well…” He shakes his head again and coughs. “If you’re done with those papers, I’ll take them with me.”

Ibiki places his hand flat onto the documents and smirks. “You can’t fool me. You have a crush.” He raises one eyebrow. “Admit it and you’ll get these back.” He taps on the papers.

Umino swallows. “I have a crush,” he says and he nods.

Ibiki keeps his gaze onto the smaller man, urging him silently to continue. But Umino only shuffles with his feet. So Ibiki coughs, loudly.

“I admitted it,” Umino says. He dashes forwards and grabs the corner of the papers. “I admitted it. Hand them over.”

Ibiki blinks and lifts his hand. He blinks again and watches how the Chuunin grabs everything and hurries out of his office. His mouth drops open and an uneasy feeling fills his gut.

The Chuunin never stated who his crush was.

He shakes his head. There is no way that the Chuunin has a crush on him. Or on the both of them.
