LadyRonin: Thank you very much, I will enjoy my holiday since I don’t have to get up at 5 am for work =). Hehe I really do love you and you questions, they actually help quite a lot when I write, easier to see what needs to be addressed later on and so on, so just keep them coming. Need to know what’s good and bad in order to improve =)

when it comes to Orochimaru I am not to sure how he is going to affect the relationship between them but he will have a big part indirect if not direct in the revealing of the truth, not to sure yet, but he will be around. When it comes to Neji I haven’t really figure out what role he is going to play as the story goes on, if he should turn complete 180 or stay the same when he figures out Naruto and Sasuke are actually dating. There is a high possibility Orochimaru will use the weak people around Naruto, as Naruto is the key to his success so far.

When it comes to Gaara I haven’t really decided yet but I think it will be a friendship and not a love feeling he will have for naruto, I think it is enough with just 1 rival for Sasuke, don’t want to ad to many conflicts in to the story than it already have. If I do I don’t even think I can keep up =) hehe well over protective or not hasn’t yet been decided if it falls on friendship, I’ll see how I develop his relationship with the group first I think before I decide.

Chapter 20

The red haired boy nodded to Haku and jumped up on the counter “the boss in?” he asked “yeah he’s sitting in his office buried in paper work” Haku said offering Gaara a cup of tea who gladly accepted it.
“Last minute again?” he said into the cup as he was sipping the tea, the long haired boy gave him a ‘you really need to ask’ look and Gaara smiled a little but it was hidden behind the cup. “I heard Yondaime’s son has finally agreed to run this place” the red haired boy was still speaking into the cup, Haku’s heart became heavy from the words “yeah, he is.”
The red haired boy noticed Haku’s sigh starring into his cup of tea “don’t worry I’ll protect him.” Haku couldn’t help but stare at the boy sitting on the counter, Gaara was never the person to care for others and the thought crossed his mind that the red haired boy might have a hidden motive but he silently thanked him hoping he wouldn’t abandon the blond boy.

A week had passed by and Christmas was only 4 days away, both Naruto and Sasuke were sitting listening to Kakashi babbling about what they would be covering next semester. He had said he wanted to take the introduction class before Christmas because he couldn’t be bothered to come in and tell them in January if he could prolong his holiday with a certain someone.
Naruto had the present he’d made for Sasuke in his bag; he hoped he liked it, well he’d better like it as he’d spent a week straight in between his studying knitting him the scarf. He remembered the look Sakura had given him when he had asked her if she knew how to knit and if she could teach him if she did. Then she got a huge grin on her face when he told her he wanted to try and knit a scarf for Sasuke since he had mention he’d lost his, it had taken 4 hours of Sakura’s nagging for Naruto to learn. But even if he had managed it with Sakura around it had taken at least two attempts alone to get it somewhat right.

“Well that’s all and I’ll see you again when the next semester starts” the silver haired man said picking up his books and papers and headed out the door, he was always so fast to leave but always late to class. Naruto wondered if he was fired from his job at the police because he was always late, he couldn’t be working as a professor voluntary because each time he came to class he looked like he was going to die of boredom.
“Naruto?” Sasuke’s face was inches away from his; drawn back to the present he blushed as Sasuke kissed him on the lips. “Sasuke? We can’t do that here” the blond boy tried to break the second kiss but the dark haired boy wouldn’t allow it. When Sasuke finally allowed the blond boy to break the kiss he smirked at him only making Naruto blush more. The blond boy looked around noticing that all the people had gone, making him relax a little.
“Oh I got your present with me” the blond said roaming around in his bag taking out Sasuke’s which was wrapped in orange glitter paper; Naruto had always used that paper to wrap all the presents, he absolutely loved the orange colour. Sasuke accepted it looking at Naruto who was blushing while looking down onto his shoes. “I thought I’d give it now since we wont see each other before the new semester starts” the blond boy said in a low and cute voice, making Sasuke want to hug him.
“Can I open it now?” the dark haired boy asked, the blond boy nodded seeing why not since they would see the facial expression on each others faces once they had opened the gift.
Sasuke took the paper of his gift he saw a book about the ancient Roman Empire and a blue scarf, he unwrapped the scarf and found a few holes in it and realised that Naruto must have made it himself which made him feel really warm inside. The blond boy had knitted him a scar in his favourite colour, even if it wasn’t perfect it was perfect in his eyes. “Thank you Naruto” he kissed the blond boy long and passionately, he could feel Naruto’s body responding to the kiss and smirked, he just thought of another Christmas present he could give the blond boy.

Sasuke moved closer, letting their bodies connect. He leaned against the blond boy forcing him to lie down on the seats, Naruto moaned into the kiss. “Fine” he said and got up following Naruto, Sasuke had to have the bag hanging in front so he could hide his bulge,

Lee wasn’t to sure he was too happy to see what he had just witnessed, not that he minded them being together it was just the whole sex part he really didn’t want to know about. As they were walking down the hallway Sasuke pulled on Naruto’s jumper holding out a gift wrapped in blue and white paper, the blond boy smiled studying the gift. Sasuke gave him an encouraging look for him to open the gift and he didn’t have to ask Naruto twice.
The blond boy gently took off the wrapper, not ripping it off like he usually did when he opened the gifts on Christmas. Inside the gift wrapper he found a hat and mittens in the colour orange and both mittens and the hat had his name embroidered on the front, the hat instead of the traditional round shape to go with the round shape of the head had been split in to having two ears hanging down with a fluffy blue ball on each end. Naruto smiled from ear to ear, Sasuke had remembered his favourite colour; he tried the hat and mittens on stating to himself that they fit like a glove. Once he was done admiring his gift he carefully looked around to see if the coast was clear before giving the dark haired boy a quick kiss whispering “thank you.”

Meantime somewhere else in Tokyo a meeting was being held in Asakusa area between the godfather and his lower rank leaders. “The rumours has it the son of Yondaime has finally entered the Sumiyoshi-kai.” ‘Leader’ the godfather said to the quiet room and as the word had been spoken the room became noisy with people talking to each other.
Orochimaru, the godfather of Sumiyoshi, had never had any big influence in his group as the godfather which was the group’s biggest weakness, the lack of loyalty had lost the group a lot of good men. The whole Sumiyoshi-kai group were all waiting for Naruto to take over his rightful place in the position that once belonged to his father, no matter how much Orochimaru tried the loyalty of the group lay with the Uzumaki family and the godfather of Matsuba-kai referred to as ‘Leader’ as his name had been lost along the way. Orochimaru knew that perfectly well.
“Quiet” with that single word being spoken by the ‘Leader’ the whole room fell quiet and all eyes were glued to him.
“I want that kid … Dead.”
