The Chosen Girl: Chosen Even Before Birth
(A/N: I have returned! I will be posting as often as I can and thanks to everyone who was nice enough to understand me being sick. I really, really appreciated! Now, for those of you who might be a little confused beforehand, read the chapter when TenTen is kidnapped, posing as Hinata before reading this chapter. It's a test to see how you've been paying attention, lol! Once again, enjoy!!!!)
Hinata sighed contently as she looked at Naruto laying beside her. With a small blush, she reached out, stroking his beautiful, blonde hair as he rested his head on the pillow beside her own. She groaned softly as she sat up, pressing the white sheet to her chest. She rubbed her eyes, looking at the moon to check the time...It was just a little after four am or so. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and grabbed Naruto's large, white shirt, placing it over her head. With a small yawn, she walked to the bathroom, splashing water on her face. Despite the fact she and Naruto had 'done it' practically all over the house, she would ignore her fatigue for the moment and begin her training as she normally did. She looked at her stomach. Sure enough, it was starting to take on a 'baby bump' shape, though one wouldn't notice it unless they were standing right in front of her.
*'...I'm starting to show, even if it's a little. My father...I'm certain he isn't through with me yet...Which is why I must do this...'* she thought.
She showered, feeling her tender body which had been put through the ringer by her insatiable Naruto-Kun. Half an hour later, she dressed in her black, tight biker-shorts, substituting her black sports-bra for a strapless piece of black cloth that barely covered her breasts and a sleeveless, fishnet shirt. She stepped into a pair of usual shinobi sandals and called her faithful companion to her side. She looked at her still sleeping husband, kissed his cheek and headed out of the house.
"Forgive me, Naruto-Kun..." she whispered.
The moon was still high in the sky, indicating it would be dark for a few hours more. With Koishubi at her side, she walked the darkened streets of konoha, somewhat filled with drunks or people who were still enjoying the nightlife. She walked past TenTen, and now, Neji's home, smiling a little to herself. She continued to walk until she found herself walking directly past the large, Hyuuga household. Even at night, it seemed so peaceful and tranquil...She couldn't lie: there had been some good times there. She sighed, continuing to walk until she reached the outskirts of the village in the thick, dense forest where she enjoyed training, stationed right beside a beautiful, beautiful crystal lake. Making sure no one else was present, she slowly discarded all of her clothing, stepping into the cooling waters. She looked at Koishubi as she took her hair down, sending it into a long stream of cascading black down her back.
"Keep a watch out, okay?"
The tiger nodded obediently and Hinata dove directly into the water, diving it down and deep into it's moonlit depths. When her feet touched the soft, sandy bottom, she stood up straight, her hair majestically flowing upwards as she stood with her feet together. She extended her arms slightly from her body and her face turned upwards, her eyes finally closing. Like a small cocoon, she could feel her chakra begin to surround her bare, naked body, forming a sort of spiral around her body as it headed for the surface of the lake. Slowly, with a silk, blue ribbon of chakra surrounding her body, she began levitating upwards, the lake soon separated into two forms as she ascended on a spiraling water spout formed beneath her feet of which she stood on tiptoe. Koishubi watched as his Hinata rose from the water on the beautiful, spiraling water spout in all of her naked glory. Her eyes opened, revealing the newly activated byakugen. Turning majestically, she leaped off of the spout, watching as another water spout shot upwards from the lake, supporting her graceful landing. Adjusting her hands, she extended her hand outwards, causing the spout she stood atop of to suddenly travel forward. She jumped off of the spout, landing on another freshly created water spout about twenty feet away. Koishubi watched as the other spouts disappeared back into the water, leaving Hinata on the solitary geyser in the center of the lake in the shadow of the moon. With the wind flapping her hair gently, she opened back up her eyes, her byakugen complete deactivated which surprised even koishubi.
How...was she able to sustain all of the chakra, controlling even the water that kept her suspended in the air, if she wasn't using the byakugen...?
"Oh, Sacred Lake of The Lost Soul...! Accept my chakra into your bountiful waters, into your bountiful trees and earth! Chakra Transference...!"
Koishubi backed up in fear when the ground began to violently shake. He watched as the entire lake turned a bright, blue color as if being flooded with her chakra. Rapidly, seven geysers sprang from the chakra-charged lake, violently, surrounding Hinata in a fast, spiraling motion. Hinata quickly raised her hand upwards in a sweeping motion, causing the geyser she was standing atop of to rise even higher, placing her directly in the center of the moon. She was able to see all of konoha, but wouldn't let the amazing view break her concentration. Holding two fingers up, Koishubi watched as a thin strip of chakra began flowing from her finger tips. Hinata twirled around gracefully, spiraling the ribbon-like chakra around her body as she twirled on one foot atop of the geyser in the center of the pure, white moon. Koishubi watched as she rapidly began moving her hands, continuing to twirl around inside the ribbon of chakra. Before he even knew what was happening, streams of light began shooting from the water and land, whatever had been touched by Hinata spreading her chakra.
"Reveal to me the Kyuubi's Seal...!"
The seven surrounding geysers suddenly began turning red, mixing with hinata's blue chakra. Her body continued to twirl as Koishubi watched in horror as the geysers soon began to take the form of the most dangerous creature known to mythical creatures as himself; Kyuubi No Kitsune, aka...The Nine Tailed Fox. Hinata showed no fear as the red water finally took the form of Kyuubi's upper body, it's eyes glowing bright yellow.
"Hinata..." it growled.
Hinata ceased spinning, the ribbon of blue chakra ceasing. She stared directly into the beast's eyes, showing no fear, if only a little nervousness.
"I accept you..." Hinata announced.
She closed her eyes at the same time Koishubi watched Kyuubi's teeth open and devour Hinata. Only her silouette could be seen in the blazing red water that resembled blood. Only two other people witnessed this event...the same Sannin who'd taught her the technique and the Godiame. Both watched from atop of the Hokage Monument. Both smirked slightly as the Sannin with the pure-white, jagged hair stepped forward.
"Must be preeeetty important if she's resorting to taking the power to control the seal upon herself now."
"Things haven't been easy for the girl...But if she took the drastic power to control the cursed seal, I'm starting to wonder if she knows something we do not." The sultry voice chuckled.
"You might be out of a job soon, Tsunade-Chan."
"As if. Naruto wouldn't dare challenge me for the title of Hokage."
"But how about his wife?"
Tsunade got real silent, her eyes narrowing as she watched the red water disperse, leaving Hinata standing, albeit weakly, atop of the solitary geyser in the center of the lake. She watched as the large, white tiger jumped up, grabbing Hinata as she fainted. The other geysers disappeared, the land and the water returned to normal and all was peaceful. Tsunade stood up, her heels clacking on the hard rock on the monument as she turned to look at 'pervy sage' as Naruto often called him.
"You were the one who taught Hinata this technique in the first place. Why her and no one else? Like Uchiha-Kun or Sakura-Chan?"
Jiriya smirked a little, grabbing his chin as a soft wind began to blow.
"Hmm, I wonder...Maybe because she was the only one I could trust with the location to where that pendent was hidden. Apparently...so did Minato-Sama."
"The Fourth?!" Tsunade gasped.
He grinned once more.
"Who else? Certainly you've seen Hinata training in that lake several times. It's a simple process...she purges her chakra from her body to break the seal, returning with something far more important when it all returns to her..."
"The Pendant that controls Kyuubi's seal. It wasn't the Death Bringer's seal that killed the Fourth...it was him using the remainder of his power to create that seal and stow it so no one else but you, myself and he would know."
"Ah-ah-ah. You are forgetting one other person..."
Tsunade thought for another moment, her eyes widening. Her head swung around to look at Jiriya.
"So THAT'S why you chose Hinata-Chan! It's because Minato-Sama let one other person know about the location of the seal!"
He chuckled a little and shrugged.
"I never said that I was the one who taught Hinata-Chan the location, now did I?"
"No...she didn't learn it from you..."
Tsunade turned and looked at Hinata as Kyuubi laid her down on the soft ground. She seemed to have regained consciousness at this point...Tsunade didn't miss the resemblance as if watching the child's mother retrieve the Pendant as her daughter did now.
"...She learned it from her MOTHER, Shioriko....So, that means YOU were the one who taught her how to summon the power of the Pendant then."
"Very good, Tsunade-Hime!" he grinned, patting her on her back.
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!" she blushed.
She huffed, crossing her arms beneath her large chest, turning to watch as Hinata weakly dressed. Even from the distance she was standing, she could definitely see there was something about Hinata's chakra that had definitely changed AND that Hinata was now wearing a necklace with a silver pendant dangling from her neck. She narrowed her eyes in thought.
"So...Minato allowed his lover's child to be the one to help his son. But...that can only mean that Minato-Kun had prematurely made the decision to seal Kyuubi inside of his son! But...that would also mean that Minato-Kun knew the Kyuubi was going to attack!"
Tsunade was blown away upon realizing all of this.
"Meidara Uchiha...Well, let's say he gave Minato-Sama less credit than he really deserved. Minato knew Meidara was going to try and seek revenge on the village somehow...So, that very same day, Minato went to his lover's side and it was then Shioriko decided who better to protect the Hokage's son than her own unborn child? It was quite the surprise when they learned the unborn child would be a girl, however." Jiriya sighed, but chuckled.
Tsunade couldn't help but think of what a clever plan those two had come up with. She was amazed, to say the least. She looked back at Hinata who climbed on Koishubi's back and began to leave the lake.
"But...what was with the big chakra show? It's almost as if instead of her simply retrieving the pendant..."
Tsunade looked at Jiriya her eyes widening as he grinned.
"You smug bastard!"
"Aren't I? Now, how about a drink?"
"HOLD it, Jiriya-San! I have one more question...?"
"Yeeeees?"
"How...? How is possible that Hinata wasn't using her byakugen through out that entire thing?"
Jiriya moved closer to Tsunade until he was overshadowing, smiling still.
"Tsunade-Hime...I thought you would have figured it all out by now."
He put his hand on the side of her face, causing the Godaime to blush.
"S...stop..."
"Leave it all to Hinata-Chan."
Tsunade sighed, looking at Hinata as she returned to konoha's main town. The sun began arising over the village, touching everything in sight. She knew the rising sun would also bring with it consequences no one was ready for...But for now, knew it rested in the hands of Hinata, Naruto and the rising shinobi and kunochi of Konohagure.
