Better Than Drugs

Hi All!!! One more chapter to go! It took me a year to finish this...geez writer's block is a bitch!!!

“My my, Orochi…your pick this year is exquisite.” The tall bald man told the snake as he turned the pages of a large black book.

“You know I only have the best Sheppard.” He told the man. He was his best client. And knew he was going to get a hefty price once the man laid eyes on Sasuke. He placed a hand on the other man’s shoulder to distract him from the pictures in the book.

“Now I do have someone special just for you. I thought of you when I saw him.” He led the man over to a mirror which turned out to be a one way mirror. He flipped a switch on the wall and on the other side the room brightened. On a bed laid a dark haired man in nothing but a pair of black boxers’ briefs that left little to the imagination. They contrasted nicely with his toned pale body.

This sight had the bald man nearly drooling. “Damn, you do know my taste.” He hissed as many thoughts rolled through his mind of how he was going to use every inch of that pale body. “How much?”

Ibiki and four other men pulled up in back of the Lotus club. They stepped out and gathered around the back of the truck.

He looked at his men, men he trusted. “Asuma, you cut the power, Genma you make sure you locate the target then relay that information to me and Raidou.” His men nodded and disappeared into the night.


Ibiki turned to see a pair of green and pale eyes looking at him through one of the back windows of the truck. He walked over as the window rolled down.

"Now, I'll let you know when we have him."

"Alright," Neji told him.

Sakura was tense. She was worried about her brother and Naruto. She needed for both of them to survive.

~~inside the club~~

Kabuto stood in the office monitoring all activities going on. He was looking at the monitor that held Sasuke in the middle. He was smirking, “serves you right, Sasuke-bitch,” he said aloud before the office was pludged into complete darkness.

“What the hell…!” he cursed as he stood and walked over to the window, on alert. The buildings across the street lights were out too so he relaxed a little until a very hard cold object was pressed against his temple.

“You move, you die.” The voice hissed into his ear; seeing the silver haired man nod, “where’s your boss.”

“Down in the basement.”

“Show me.” He pushed the barrel harder into Kabuto’s head. “Move.”

Kabuto knew the shit has finally hit the fan. He didn’t even have time to warn Orochimaru as he walked out the office. He was thinking of trying to take down the man but a knife was also shoved into his back.

“Try anything and you die.”

The snake man cursed as the lights went out but relaxed when the back up generators kicked in. He had these installed only to the cells down in the basement. He looked into the room where Sheppard was with Sasuke. He always enjoyed a show.

The door opened and Sai walked in and headed over to the window. He stood next to Orochimaru and watched as the bald man removed the raven’s boxers.

“I wished I could have kept him. He was such a good fuck…” Sai said aloud as they watched the scene unfold.

Sasuke wanted to die as he felt the stranger’s hands on his thighs, pulling them apart. The cold air making him shiver as he was exposed.

Sheppard licked his lips as he watched the creamy thighs part and there nestled in a bed of black curly hair was the prize he sought. He reached out and touched the limp member. He looked into dark eyes, “you’ll soon be hard for me. Training you will be fun and then you'll beg for my touch.” He told Sasuke as he began to stroke him.

The outer door busted in as the silver haired man was shoved into the room with the other two. A pair of guns were aimed at all three men.

Orochimaru was pissed as he glared at the two men in black, “who the fuck are you! What the fuck are you doing here!” he spat out.

Sai was stunned. He stood there like a deer caught in the headlights as he stared at the guns.

“Shut the fuck up!” one of them men hissed as he stepped forward and hit him over the head with his gun.

The snake man went down hard.

“Lord Orochimaru!” Karbuto ran to his boss.

The other walked over to the window to see something he didn’t want to see. He ran out and toward the other door.

Closing his eyes, Sasuke could feel the bile rising up in his throat as the man’s mouth took his shaft into his mouth. The sound he was making was literally making him loose his mind. His mind was drifting, blocking out the feel, the sound the smell of the bastard. Just as he was losing himself he felt the sickening warmth leave him and something placed on him. He slowing opened his dark eyes to see the strange man no longer over him. He grabbed the blanket when he saw two dark figures standing inside the room.

“NO!” he screamed. He was breaking. He couldn’t take it anymore! His eyes went wide and then he slumped against the wall.

“Shit, get in here now!” one of the dark figures shouted into an ear piece.

“They're all all tied up boss.” The third man walked into the room. His eyes went to the pale man on the bed, “is he ok?”

Ibiki removed his masked and shook his head, “not sure.”

Sakura ran down the hall. Her mind was on finding her brother. She passed a room where she saw a glimpse of the bastard that took him. She wanted to go in there and kill the bastard, but Sasuke needed her.

She saw Ibiki walk out of a room. Her eyes could see him shaking his head. “What’s wrong?” she stopped in front of him.

He didn’t want to say, but, “we didn’t get here in time enough. There was someone with him…”

She didn’t hear him, she turned and walked into the room. That’s when she saw him. He was so pale, his eyes were….they held no life.

“Sasuke.” She whispered as she walked toward him, slowly.

Neji stood at the door and watched his girlfriend as she made her way to Sasuke.

Sakura reached the bed and sat down. Her heard was breaking as she looked into Sasuke’s eyes, “please Sasuke, say something.” She reached out her hand and touched his cheek.

His mind was slowly fracturing. But something was stoping it from breaking completely. He heard a familiar voice. ‘Sakura?’

!!

“Please Sasuke, come back to me, to us. We need you. Naruto needs you…” her voice horse as she sobbed.

!

She wasn’t here, he thought. She wasn’t real. Then he heard the one name he thought he would never hear again, ‘Naruto needs you.’

He shifted on the bed, eyes looking into green, “Naruto is dead. He’s dead because of me…” voice was as soft as tears ran from his dark eyes.

Joy raced through her as he spoke. “No Sasuke, Naruto is alive…”

A shock raced through the raven as his eyes widened. “NO! I saw him….I saw the blood…He was dead…” his voice was unsure as confused dark eyes searched green.

Smiling sadly, “no, he’s still alive, but…”

“What!” he almost shouted as he gripped the sheet.

“I don’t for how long. He’s in a coma.” Her voice held sadness that Sasuke had never heard before for anyone else but himself.

Ice ran through his veins…. ‘His light was still alive.’ “He’s alive, he’s alive, he’s alive,” he repeated as he pushed himself off the bed, the sheet around him. “I have to see him.”

Neji stepped forward and put a bag on the bed, “nice to see you Sasuke. Here are some clothes. Hurry.” He told the raven.

Ibiki nodded to Neji as he ushered Sakura and Sasuke out of the building. As he watched them disappear he walked over to another door and looked into the tiny window. There was another young man inside. He cursed as he signaled for Genma to come over.

“This bastard is running a white slavery operation. Call it in but don’t mention any names.”

Nodding the male radioed for the cops.

Ibiki walked back into the room that held the three males and smiled at them. It wasn’t a pleasant smile. He took off his gloves and cracked his knuckles.

“The police won’t be here for at least 15 minutes…time for some fun.”

~~inside Naruto’s mind~~~


Kyuubi was trying to hold Naruto to this world but the blonde didn’t want to live. “Kit you must live for him.”

“He doesn’t want me. He made his decision.” His blue eyes were dead as he stared into the darkness of his mind.

“What was all the shit before then? You were planning on getting him back!”

Shaking from the emotions that were rolling around inside of him, “no, I tried but then I got shot. It was a sign…a sign that we were not meant to be together…” his voice faded. A part of him didn’t believe this…this part raged that he needed the raven…but could he survive him rejecting him again?

“No, I won’t take that chance…” shaking his blonde head he rocked back and forth. “I have good memories of him…I’ll treasure until…” tears slide down his whiskered cheeks.

“Kit…you haven’t lost him. He’s still here waiting for your to find him…” Kyu hated to see so much pain inside Naruto’s blue eyes.

“Just let me go Kyu, I’m so tired…”

Sasuke ran through the halls of the hospital. He followed Neji until they came to a door. Neji stepped aside and allowed Sasuke to walk through the doors.

Inside the room a lone light shown over the bed where his beloved lay. His breath caught in his chest as he walked toward the man he loved. He wanted, no needed to touch him, feel his warmth, to make sure this wasn’t a dream. To make sure he was alive. He saw him fall, so much blood…there was so much blood on him…

The raven reached out and laid a gentle hand on Naruto’s cheek. Once he felt the softness, the warm skin he couldn’t hold back his tears as they slid from his eyes. “Naruto….please don’t leave me…!”he sobbed as his head dropped to the blonde’s chest. His emotions racked his body, shaking his body as he laid there hoping that his love would wake up.

~~inside Naruto’s mind~~


Kyu’s ears heard the sound first. He heard someone crying…crying for his kit. Looking over to Naruto he just hoped that he would hear too.

He was all alone, no one cared for him. He might as well just fade away, Naruto thought as he sat inside the cage.

‘Naruto…please don’t leave me…’was that a voice? He looked around but he was alone… ‘Don’t leave me…’ “Sasuke?”

Shaking his head, he didn’t want to believe.

‘Kit, he’s here…he’s come back to you.’

Lifting his head he looked toward the bars that hold the fox inside. His eyes look beyond those bars and into the darkness. He didn’t want to be alone out there again…but ‘Naruto.’

Standing up his body move towards the bars, he walks through the bars as if they were mist. Tears fall from his cerulean eyes as he walks into the dark towards the only voice that held happiness for him, ‘Sasuke’

Sakura has watched as her brother sit next to Naruto. It’s already been a week and the blonde had not responded yet. Sasuke never left his bedside. She brought food and change of clothes for him.

But tonight she sat on the other side and held Naruto’s hand as Sasuke dozed on the other side on the cot the hospital supplied. She looked down at Naruto and wondered when he would wake up. She knew that if Naruto died, her brother would soon follow.

Sakura wanted Sasuke to be happy and Naruto made him happy, “come on Naru, please wake up.” She whispered as she stood and kissed his cheek. Releasing his hand she turned and headed toward the door. Sakura was going home and rest, but she would be back the following day.

Neji met Sakura out in the hall. “How’s he doing?” He asked as he pulled her into his arms.

“Sasuke is sleeping. Neji, I’m afraid that if Naruto doesn’t wake up and …dies Sasuke will follow…” her voice breaking with emotion.

“He will bring Naruto back,” Neji told her. He had too, he thought as they headed out of the hospital.

“Hey Naruto, I know you can hear me. Please wake up. I’m sorry I turned away from you.” His voice was soft as he whispered.

“Teme…”

Sasuke’s head shot up when he heard the most beautiful sound…. “Naruto????” his eyes wide as he stared down into crystal blue eyes that he had longed to see again. “Gods Naruto, you’re awake!”

Smiling weakly, “well, I had to….to see you again…” his voice horse from not speaking for almost a month. “Water…”

The raven stood and walked over to the tray the Sakura had brought in for him. He poured the water and walked back over. He didn’t know if this was a dream or not. As he helped Naruto sit up a little he felt the warmth of the blondes back as he held him. He couldn’t believe it.

As Naruto took a sip of the cold water he felt a drop on his cheek. He looked up to see Sasuke’s eyes closed but tears falling.

“Sasuke, please open your eyes…”

Shaking his head…. “I….I’m still dreaming…” he whispered.

“No, you’re not Sasuke.” Naruto reached up and cupped the raven’s pale cheek. “I’m real and I’m here. Please open your eyes.”

Sasuke opened his dark eyes and looked in Naruto’s loving eyes. He set the water down, “I’m sorry.”

“Why?”

“I left you…”

Sitting up a little more he pulled Sasuke into his chest, “you never left me, teme. You will always be in my heart.” He turned Sasuke’s face up and place a long over due kiss on trembling lips.

At the door stood Sakura, Neji, Tsunade, Jiriya and the doctors. All watched as the two lovers held each other.
