"I wonder if you were worried about me" Naruto laughed, hugging Hinata back, but not as tight
"Frankly I didn't care if you ever woke up, I'd be able to have Hinata and Hanabi to myself them" Ino smirked as she gave Naruto a hug along with Hanabi, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and whispering "Glad to see you awake master"
"H… how long has you been awake?" Hinata asked as she wiped the tears from her face
"Less then half an hour, just enough time for Hanabi to fetch me something" Naruto smiled, pulling something from under his pillow "I've been thinking about this for a while Hinata and discussed it with Ino and Hanabi, but when I finally thought it was the right time I was sent on a mission then I ended up here, so I'll ask now"
Revealing a small box and opening it to reveal an engagement ring Hinata blushed more than she had in a long time and gasped "Hinata, I know I make you happy but you have no idea how happy you make me or how much your love even means to me and even now I'm only able to show a small fraction of it, you make me feel more important than anyone else has, you've cared about me longer than I've known, you're the only person who's ever fully accepted me no matter what people said, so I'm asking you now with all my heart and soul, will you marry me"

Staring at Naruto Hinata saw a part of him that'd hardly ever seen, his vulnerable side, the side of him that's always been hidden with confidence and his goofy smile. She could feel tears start to swell in her eyes again and she felt her legs start to get weak and felt like she was going to collapse onto the floor, she knew this moment would be a life changing moment for everyone she knew; Naruto, Ino, her sister, her cousin, her father but most importantly for herself and as she opened her mouth to speak she could tell her voice was going to tremble, to be almost incoherent and nothing more than a whisper as she said


"Yes"

Throwing herself at Naruto again she felt even more tears run down her face as Ino and Hanabi cheered and clapped for them as Naruto and Hinata hugged and kissed each other, almost nothing able to ruin the moment as they had a bigger future to look forward to, almost nothing could ruin in, almost. Hanabi stopped clapping and crying for her sister’s happiness as she heard someone shout from the door
"Congratulations Naruto-Niichan, am I getting an invitation?"
Looking over to the door Hanabi felt a large amount of rage take over her as she saw the one person she'd have been happy never to see again, charging forwards she didn't give the person a chance as she slammed her palms into their face and chest, sending them flying backwards into and through a wall, the orange haired girl the person had entered with screaming "Konohamaru-kun"


A/N: I know I said stories would be weekly from now on and I'm sorry but my computer decided to fuck with me at that point so now I'm having random luck connecting to the internet for random periods of time, anyhow I made this fic so long because I thought it would be a special one, Ino's back story as well as Naruto proposal. I had originally intended to leave it at Naruto asking and give Hinata's answer at the next chapter but felt I owed you readers something, so I left it with Konohamaru getting his ass handed to him by Hanabi, if you want to know then I suggest you wait on the edge of your seat whilst I write the next chapter which won't be as long or as brutal but Anko will be returning in the next chapter, so get ready for more games
