Impending Wedding

“Ten Ten I don’t think you understand, you’re going to marry a Hyuuga. A Hyuuga wedding is the biggest party…period. People come, they drink a lot, they swoon over you and Neji, they eat, then they drink some more, then…well I probably shouldn’t tell you about the last part because Neji doesn’t even know all the details yet.” Hinata said watching Ten Ten over her cup of tea.
Ten Ten was glowing all over. The month was February and the wedding was already being planned. Ten Ten’s 18th birthday was only one month away and the wedding was happening shortly after she turned 18. It was as if Ten Ten had hardly heard a word that Hinata had said. “Hinata, what should I do? I have never planned a wedding before, I mean you’ve seen lots of your relatives get married, where do I even begin?”
“Ten Ten read my lips: You don’t do much. Listen, Neji knows you better than pretty much anyone. Your part is to get fitted for your kimono. Hyuugas tale care of the rest. It’s not YOUR wedding Ten Ten until you show up in your gorgeous white kimono. Believe me, it will be gorgeous and you will be completely unstressed.” Hinata reassured her.
Meanwhile Neji and Hiashi were sitting at the kitchen table sipping sake.
“Neji, it’s not far off.” Hiashi told him.
“Well, Hiashi Ten Ten loves green and she looks beautiful in green and let’s see cherry blossoms would be nice for our tables, don’t you think? White ones, not the pink ones. Ten Ten and I want an evening wedding not an afternoon wedding and for the entrees we want a fish dish and if guests would like a vegetable main dish that’s fine too.” Neji told Hiashi. Neji was speaking so quickly that he was nearly stumbling over his words. Hiashi smiled.
“Very well, so shall it be. Now about what happens after the wedding….” Hiashi reached into his pocket and pulled out a key. It was the key to the branch house home. It was as large and elaborate as the main house home, where Neji had grown up. Neji couldn’t believe his eyes. “Neji, the branch home needs work and to be honest it needs furnished as well, but it’s work that should be completed relatively quickly. Under normal circumstances you would take your wife to your home and….well….take her innocence…make her a real Hyuuga, like I did to your aunt.” Hiashi paused and sipped on the sake.
“Please don’t drag my innocent aunt into this…” Neji thought to himself.
“Of course, you’ve already taken her innocence, so you’re going to take her into your home and make her a Hyuuga in YOUR home.” Hiashi looked at his nephew. Neji took the key, he couldn’t believe that he and Ten Ten would be taking over the home in which he was conceived.
“Hiashi, Ten Ten and I should go over there sometime and see what all needs to be done, perhaps you should come with us.” Neji said.
“Well, as you know, the house has the same basic floor plan as this one, the majority of work will be landscaping the place which won’t be easy with the earth still frozen, but we’ll do it Neji. Do you and her want to get married in the meeting center? It’s spacious and there will be plenty of room for our guests?” The meeting center was where all the official Hyuua business was discussed, but it was a beautiful place that could almost be considered a ball room type place.
“Yes we should have the wedding there.” Neji answered.
Hinata and Ten Ten were still talking about the upcoming grand event. “Okay, so Hinata Naruto will definitely be there because he will be mine and Neji’s guest, this way you can get him drunk and screw him later on.”
“I like the way you think. I’m glad you won’t be the only one getting some on your wedding day.” Hinata smiled and then sighed. “But who am I kidding, the past 5 Hyuuga weddings I’ve been to I’ve had to hear my father pleasuring my mother into the wee hours of the dawn and your wedding will be no exception. Oh god, Ten Ten it was so funny because this was when Naruto and I were just talking on the phone. Mom and Dad, Hanabi, Me and Neji had all come home from a wedding and I had to explain to Naruto that all the moaning he was hearing was my mother.” Ten Ten laughed out loud at this. Hinata couldn’t help but laugh with her. Hinata smiled and looked at her. “You’re going to be my sister-in-law…that’s so cool.”
“Yeah, I’m excited Hinata, we’ll be related.” Ten Ten told her.
“I think Ten Ten’s kimono should have some green accents on it, who said a wedding kimono had to be all red or all white anyway? Ten Ten would like that very much.” Neji said.
“That can be arranged. She will be a beautiful wife.” Hiashi paused again. “Neji, she…is fertile, right? She can bear children?” Hiashi asked.
“Yes, yes she can…well…we….can have children.”
“Have you talked about your first child, when you are going to plan your first child?” Hiashi wanted to know. Hyuugas loved children and they loved the act of making them, it would obviously only be a matter of time after the wedding before Ten Ten was pregnant with the next Hyuuga heir. Hiashi smiled.
“Neji, I truly wish that your father could be here to see this….to see his son marry and become a father.” Hiashi said. Neji looked away from him.
“Yeah, it would be nice if he could see the wedding and meet Ten Ten and see our child or children.” Neji and Hiashi finished their sake, they were going to go to the branch house to give it an overlook as to what things should be completed first. Neji and Ten Ten’s life together had officially begun…
