Sai:It's probably leftover joy from chapter 347.

T.W.:Yup! Plus I've got an idea for a new fic.

Itachi:(narrows eyes) You had better not be planning a SasuSai.

T.W.:Uh no. Not my usual flavor really, though there is a buzzing in my head for a Sasu+Sai/Naru threesome. No Sai doesn't feature in the one I'm talking about at all. I got the idea for a SasuNaru from a KakaIru Mpreg I read yesterday.

Sai:Umm I can see Naruto-kun getting pregnant in an odd way but Iruka-san? How is that possible?

T.W.:An undercover assignment where Iruka has to use(snicker) Orioke no Jutsu to pass as a girl during the day. It's a really good fic. Plus we get to see a vulnerable, protectively spazzing Sasuke. It's sooo cute!

Itachi:I never want to see what goes on in that head of yours.

T.W.:Would now be a good time to mention that a friend of mine tried to write a NaruIta Mpreg fic?

Itachi:WHAT! She not only made me uke but pregnant!

T.W.:Yeah, it's a rather cute mental picture actually(snickers) Mommy Itachi(starts laughing)

Itachi:(vein pops)Sai, I'm going to kill her friend.(leaves the room)

T.W.:(stops laughing)Hmmm should I be worried?(thinks)Nah, Nari-chan can take care of herself. Aaaanyway, we get to see what Kyuubi was up to in this chapter.

Chapter 28 What Kyuubi Did

Life had been calm and uneventful for the last six weeks but such things never last. Sasuke was currently outside the locked bathroom door listening to Naruto retch for the fourth morning in a row. After a few more minutes, he heard the sink running and Naruto came out of the bathroom.

"This is the fourth time Naruto. You can complain all you want, but you're going to let Tsunade check you out today. I mean it."

Naruto glared and rasped in a voice raw from the vomiting, "It's probably just the flu teme."

"I don't care about probably, I want to know what's wrong. What are you grinning at?"

"You. You're such a wife."

Sasuke glared at Naruto as the blond dressed in black jeans and a blue shirt that read 'Jump First, Read The Instructions On The Way Down.'

"Well let's go so I can get this over with and say I told you so."

"Hn."

They went downstairs and just before they left the mansion, Sasuke smacked Naruto hard on the ass.

"Itai! What was that for?"

"Wife dobe?"

"Jeez you're so pissy," he paused, looking over his shoulder, "but you're beautiful when you're angry."

Naruto then ran off to Hokage Tower before Sasuke could retaliate.

Tsunade watch amusedly as Naruto complained about Sasuke being paranoid and had to hide a smile when Sasuke twisted the blond's ear after Naruto asked if men can get PMS.

"Okay brat take it easy, I'll look you over so you can go home."

She got up, recorded his vital signs, and weighed him, "Hmm you've gained a little weight."

"I've been eating better."

She chuckled as she used her chakra to scan him, looking for a flu bug or ulcer that might be causing the vomiting and almost fell back on her ass when she reached his lower abdomen.

"Baa-chan," Naruto's voice was full of concern, "You okay? You look a little unsteady."

She shook herself out of shock, "I'm fine," and went back to double check what she'd found. 'No way.'

She straightened, "I think I should give you a blood test Naruto."

"Eh? Why?"

"I want to confirm something."

Sasuke stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Naruto as Tsunade drew the blood, "Is something wrong?"

"No. In fact, depending on how you look at it, if I'm correct, something's very right."

"What are you talking about Baa-chan?"

"You'll see," she exited the room, leaving the two men staring after her in confusion.

Naruto was fidgiting and on the edge of his seat by the time Tsunade returned and Sasuke wasn't much better.

"Well Baa-chan what's going on?"

She smiled, "You're pregnant."

Naruto stared for a second then, he started laughing, "Hahaha. That's a good one Baa-chan! Seriously though, why have I been puking lately?"

"I am serious Naruto. You're pregnant and currently experiencing morning sickness."

Naruto sobered and studied her experssion, deadly serious and Tsunade was not known for her poker face.

"How did this?"

"Well when two people--"

"Not that part Baa-chan! I mean how can I be pregnant? I'm a guy!"

"I suspect Kyuubi has a paw in this."

Naruto remembered what Kyuubi had said about being busy. 'Oi Kyuubi!'

What is it?!

'I'm...pregnant?'

Oh that. Yes, how'd you find out so soon?

'Sasuke made me go see Baa-chan for a check-up because I've been puking every morning and why didn't you know that?'

I have to direct the majority of my attention and chakra to maintaining your pergnancy. If I don't then your body will naturally abort.

'Why'd you do this? I mean there's nothing in it for you.'

It'll make you and your mate happy brat. Besides you can consider this the Uchiha's reward for treating you so well since he came back but also his punishment for leaving in the first place.

'Uh how's me being pregnant a punishment for him?'

He'll have to deal with your mood swings, nesting, and cravings Kukuku. Now I have to get back to work brat.

'Kyu.'

Hmm?

'Thanks. Thanks a lot.'

(purr) You're welcome.

Naruto came out of his conversation with Kyuubi and grinned at Tsunade.

"I take it that I'm right about Kyuubi enabling this."

"Yeah, he's keeping his focus on keeping me pregnant."

Sasuke, who had finally absorbed the fact that his very male lover was actually pregnant, spoke up in a slightly unsteady voice, "Is naruto in danger from the pregnancy?"

Tsunade shook her head, "As long as he takes it easy and Kyuubi maintains focus, there's no danger to Naruto or the baby."

"How far along is he?"

She checked the chart she'd made, "I'd say about six weeks."

Tsunade handed Naruto a prescription slip, "That's for prenatal vitamins, you're to take them every day starting now."

Naruto grimaced, he hated taking pills of any kind, but he took the slip, "I will, I promise Baa-chan."

"Now go home and let your mind adjust to this. I want you to come see me at eight tomorrow morning to discuss this in depth."

He nodded and left the room with Sasuke.

Back inside the Uchiha mansion's kitchen, Naruto kept glancing at Sasuke worriedly. The brunette hadn't said a word since they'd left Tsunade's office and now all sorts of fears were forming in Naruto's mind. Finally, he couldn't take the silence anymore, "Sasuke."

"Hn?"

"Are you...do I disgust you?"

The Uchiha's head jerked up to see Naruto's expression, "What?"

"Well I'm a guy and it's not exactly normal for a guy to be pregnant and you've been really quiet so I thought you might be disgusted with me because I-"

Sasuke stopped the flow of words with a finger laid on Naruto's lips. He came closer and wrapped his arms around the blond, "Usuratonkachi. I'm not disgusted. I'm just still adjusting to the fact that you're making my wildest, most improbable dream come true," he placed a hand on Naruto's lower abdomen, "You have our child in here and that's a miracle that I never dared hope for. Naruto you idiot, there's no way you could ever disgust me, I'm stunned and humbled by the idea that soon we'll be holding a child that combines the best of us. It amazes me, you amaze me, but then you always have."

Naruto relaxed, snuggled into Sasuke's arms and kissed the Uchiha, arms twining around his neck. Sasuke deepened the kiss for a moment then ended it and rested his chin on the top of Naruto's head.

"Sasuke?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?"

"I don't care what gender the baby is as long as it's healthy."

Naruto smiled, "Yeah."

They moved to the living room and pretended to watch a movie but each was occupied with their own thoughts. Naruto was excited and wanted to start making plans for a nursery but he knew that there was a big chance that he could miscarry. After all he'd seen women who'd done everything right miscarry for no reason. He decided that he wouldn't make any plans for a nursery until the baby was developed enough to survive an early birth.

Sasuke's thoughts were centered more on something he'd been planning for a while, askinf Naruto to marry him. He was worried that naruto would think he was asking because of the baby. 'Maybe I should ask Sakura for advice but she doesn't know about Naruto's pregnancy. Damn.'

"Naruto when do you want to tell everyone?"

"Mmm? Well I want to tell Iruka-sensei and Kakashi-sensei first then Sakura-chan. I guess we'll do it after meeting with Baa-chan tomorrow."

"And everyone else?"

Naruto yawned, "Tell 'em when we see 'em."

"Why are you yawning?"

"I'm sleepy and you're warm teme. 'm gonna take a nap."

Sasuke blinked as Naruto dropped off into sleep instantly after saying that. He smiled at the sight of naruto sleeping so peacefully in his arms. Sasuke kissed Naruto's forehead, "Sleep well love."

T.W.:(watches Itachi stalk back into the room)How'd it go?

Itachi:Shut up.

T.W.:(laughs)She pulled one of her brain benders on you didn't she?

Itachi:I have no idea what you mean.

T.W.:Uh-huh, hey do you know how the sex scenes came to be known as lemons?

Itachi:O.o Where did that come from?

T.W.:My mom asked me and since I didn't know I thought you might.

Itachi:How the hell should I know?

T.W.:Sai do you know?

Sai:Nope sorry.
