Questions and Answers with Gaara-Sensei!

Hello, and welcome to another intermission. For some reason, the writer has decided to use me to explain the story so far and answer a few questions from the avid and loyal fans.

::Pushes up glasses::

Ahem, the first question is, 'Are you and Sakura really getting married?'

::Blushes::

Well, let me explain:

The idea had come up from the Hokage, who was heavily drinking at the time. She noticed that Sakura and I were discussing future plans for our respective villages over the table and seemed to be enjoying ourselves. While I'm not opposed to a political marriage, I will neither confirm nor deny the possibility for the future. However, as of right now, the plans are in limbo.

::Sage nod::

The next question is...'Do you have a crush on Naruto?' What in the world? Who wrote this?!

::Rubs bridge of nose::

Alright, I will not deny that I have strong feelings for Naruto, who saved my life and my sanity on more than one occasion. However...those...feelings are not allowed to fall in a romantic sense. STOP LAUGHING OVER THERE!

::Throws pen off camera with a huff::

Moving on.

Next we have, 'How exactly did the resealing of Kyuubi between Naruto and Sasuke work?' Ah, an excellent question!

::Stands to walk over to a diagram chalk board with a pointer::

As you might know, the tailed beasts are demons. They are an ethereal type of being that have no true physical body. In the event that a host dies or demon is defeated, it will simply gather it's energy again over time and reform. Minato knew this, which is why he sealed it in his infant son instead of having the risk of it being free to reform later on. Being that the demons are energy, it was a matter of splitting it into two parts. In a short answer, Kyuubi is now confined to both bodies.

Since this is a new concept, we have yet to know the true possibilities of this or the risks we took. It seems that Naruto has not been weakened by the effect, nor is Sasuke significantly stronger than what he was at his peak. It also seems that Sasuke also took Naruto's chakra into his body as well as Kyuubi's. This is thought to have happened due to Naruto having Kyuubi since birth. The flow of Naruto and the flow of Kyuubi are more than likely intertwined.

::Coughs::

 So there we have it.

Alright, maybe I have time for a few more. 'What was Itachi sick with?' Ah, well according to Sasuke's blood test, Itachi was unfortunately stricken with a slow acting poison that ate away at his muscles, nutrients, and white blood cells. It was accelerated from excessive use of the Sharingan, which requires strong focus and force. While we cannot pinpoint the origins, it seemed to be directly focused on the Uchiha's abilities. It is possible that this came from the likes of Madara himself. Naruto's healing abilities seem to overpower the poison, which has caused a rehabilitation in Sasuke. If this remains, however, is yet to be seen.

The last question of the day is 'Gaara, do you like me?' Who...who wrote this?! Shiro!?
