Chapter 28: Birthday surprises.

“Mmmmh Sas´ke… don’t stop… ahh.”

“I thought that most didn’t like to have sex when they´re seven months pregnant.” The raven teased as he nibbled at the tanned skin right beneath his husband’s ear. It wasn´t that he wanted this to end as he hadn´t had ´any` for a week and his mood had been… well rather grumpy… almost evil ever since.

”Ah… ah... I´m don´t exactly fit the category… of being normal Teme… and Sakura… told me that some pregnant women craved… ah… for sex in the final stage… Why would a pregnant man be any… Mmmmm… different? ” The blonde moaned as he felt his lover´s gentle hands caressing his swollen belly and sunk his teeth into his shoulder. Sasuke loved to bite and Naruto loved it when he was bitten by his raven… Marking him; just like this.

“Guess your right.” The Uchiha smirked as he kissed the red bite mark he had left on the tanned shoulder.

“… So how can I please my beloved Dobe on this early morning?” The raven-haired Otokage hummed as he let his hands trail downwards to the tender skin below the blondes bristling naval and allowed his fingers to play with the naturally blonde curls there.

His smirk grew bigger as he watched the blonde turn his back on him and get on his knees. This was the most comfortable position for both of them since the blonde´s pregnancy had entered the fifth month and left the blue-eyed blonde to wide around the mid section to be comfortable in any other position as the twins were thriving, most likely because of Kushina, Ryu and mother-hen Iruka´s good and constant treatment of his Dobe.

They had stuffed the blonde fox-container with rice, fish, vegetables, vitamins and minerals to keep the blonde and the twins at good health.

Sasuke didn´t complain a lot about this as it meant that he got a warm dinner served when he returned from a long days work and Naruto had been entertained all day and was calm, happy and… well tired… which sadly meant… rare sex sessions but they were still able to spend a lot of quality time together with a lot of cuddling and comfortable conversations about their unite future together.

Not that Sasuke would complain about that… But damn, he was horny all the time… all he ever had to do was to look at the blonde and he was feeling the undeniable urge to kiss, caress and make love to the slightly younger blonde whom the Uchiha loved more than life itself.

The twins were kicking a lot which left Naruto sore and the weight of their children made his back hurt like hell though Naruto refrained from whimpering about it. The blonde had changed a lot lately and would rather praised Sasuke for his discipline, his kindness and love as he rubbed Naruto´s feet, smeared lotion on the blonde´s swollen belly to avoid stretch marks and brought him extra pillows, herbal tea and stuff like that than to pick a fight… it was almost as if he was desperate to make Sasuke happy… or maybe it was just his growing mother instinct or something.

“Sas´ke,” Naruto moaned as he felt his lover penetrate him from behind.

“Ah… feel… so good.” The raven haired groaned as he moved slowly in and out of the tight hole which caused the blonde to moan his name out in desire.

“Ah…Sas…ke… faster… please.” The blonde begged. His voice was filled with lust and his body just screamed at the Uchiha to be worshipped with kissed and caressed.

“... As… you… wish… koi…” The Uchiha panted as he stared to move faster making both of them breathe harder and faster.

Sasuke grabbed a firm hold of his soul-mate´s golden-skinned hips and thrusted as hard as he dared while kissing the smooth skin of his lovers neck; whispering words of love and affection which caused the blonde to grasp for air.

“Naru-koi… I… can’t…” Sasuke panted as he stroke the blonde´s erection at the same pace as his thrusts. He smiled with satisfaction as he felt Naruto´s body tremble in ecstasy as he released his seeds in the Uchiha´s hand as well as all over the silk sheets. Sasuke joined him only seconds later with a cry of passion as his mind went blank from the hard orgasm. Damn he had missed this.

“Happy birthday, koi,” Sasuke panted as he lay down next to his significant other after kissing Naruto´s slightly parted lips.

“Mmmmm thanks Sas´ke… this was the best gift I have ever received.” Naruto chuckled happily. Birthdays had never been a happy event for the blonde as the villagers had always tried to hurt him because of Kyuubi but thankfully this would change from now on.

“Oh it´ll get better… just wait till you see the gift I picked out for you.” Sasuke told him as he sat up with a smile that radiated true love, compassion as well as anticipation.

“Oi you didn´t have to buy me anything. You have given me so much already Teme. I have you who love me, I have a home where I´m accepted… where I won´t have to fear anything… and you… and Kyuubi has made it possible for us to have a real family,” the blonde chuckled as he rubbed his bulging stomach.

“Well I feel the same way about you. You have given me the exact same things Dobe.” Sasuke said as he placed his hands above Naruto´s. They soon felt the twins kick which filled the Uchiha with a feeling that was hard to describe.

He´s could feel the life grow inside of the man he loved… he was going to become a father which filled him with pride and happiness… and made him love Naruto even more.

They took a quick shower together and the Uchiha silently thanked the villagers and the city council for the huge bathtub that they had decided to add in their lovely home. Otherwise it would have been impossible for both of them to fit in a regular tub… not at once anyway.

“Say… did Tsunade say anything about the date of birth?” Sasuke asked. He knew that Naruto had about two more months before he would give birth… but the Uchiha wondered how long his Dobe could go on like this. The twins were huge and very active… and they had been for months already.

Naruto didn´t whine about it anymore but Sasuke knew that it was hard as Naruto tended to sleep about fourteen hours a day… only interrupted when he had to go to the bathroom to pee for the hundredth time that day as the babies added pressure to the blonde´s blather.

Sasuke knew his better half better than anyone and knew that Naruto pulled it together for him. Sasuke had a lot of work as Iwa-gakure seemed edgy to pick a fight with the Sound. The new Sound had just celebrated it two years anniversary and there were still a lot of stuff that had to be adjusted and corrected.

“She´s not sure as foxes´ don´t carry their offspring as long as humans´ do… but she expects me to come down in around the fourth of December.” Naruto said with a cheerful grin. He couldn´t wait to give birth as the pressure on his body and it was tearing at his and Kyuu´s strength.

“Hn.” The Uchiha hummed as he buttoned his pants and grabbed a dark shirt from the walk-in closet.

“I love you, Teme.” Naruto purred as he nuzzled against his husband side; still very naked.

“I know… let’s get dressed and then I´ll give you your present, Dobe,” the Uchiha smirked. Once Kira was back he would take a few days off to relax while she could take care of the daily paperwork for him.

Ten minutes later:

Sasuke helped Naruto into the kitchen where they were met by Kushina, Sakura and Jiraiya as well as Kakashi and Iruka who had made breakfast for the Otokage and the birthday boy.

“Good morning, you two. Happy Birthday Naruto.” Iruka cheered as he wrapped his arms around the blonde and hugged him though the swollen belly made it a different task.

“Twenty years old and you´re already married and on the verge of having kids. I´m proud of you… both of you.” Kakashi told Naruto and Sasuke

Kushina kissed her son and burst into tears as she was happy to be able to spend Naruto´s birthday with him for the first time since his birth.

“I love you so much. You and Ryu are the best things in my life. I´m so happy that we found you and that you and Sasuke have each other.”

“Thanks Kasan… I´m happy that I have all of you,” Naruto chuckled as she just hugged him tighter.

“… Can I show him my gift now?” The Uchiha said with a hint of impatience and anxiousness.

“Oh sure, Sasuke-kun… I´m sorry,” Kushina chuckled with embarrassment. She knew how hard it must be to have kept his gift a secret from his husband. She, Sakura and Iruka knew what Sasuke had stumbled across as they had helped him by hiding and taking care of the gift till today.

“Oh you really got me something Teme?” Naruto asked.

“Of course I have, Dobe and so has everyone else.” The Uchiha said as he tugged softly at the Uchiha-Uzumaki necklace he had gotten from his ´family` as something ´new` for their wedding.

Naruto never took it of… it stayed where it belonged; around his slim, tanned neck right next to the blue crystal he had won in a bet with the Godaime years ago.

“Where is it?” Blue eyes sparkled with joy and he would have jumped around if he hadn´t been seven months pregnant with twins and rather exhausted.

“It´s outside… Come Dobe, allow me to lead the way.” Sasuke took Naruto´s somewhat cold hand and led him outside while the rest of the ´family` followed them; just as anxious as Sasuke to see Naruto´s reaction.

Sasuke was worried about Naruto´s health as he seemed to pale and his body temperature was lower than normal. Sasuke had to warm Naruto during the night were it was usually the other way around as the Dobe normally was a hot as a furnace.

´At least he still has his good mood,` the Uchiha thought as he hoped that Naruto would give birth soon so that everything would return to normal and Naruto would look like he used to.

“What is it?” Naruto chuckled as he leaned onto Sasuke for support...

“It´s right in here,” the Otokage whispered softly into golden locks as he opened the door to their greenhouse very slowly. They stepped inside and Naruto couldn´t help but to wonder what his husband had come up with.

Everyone held their breaths as a soft mewling sound filled the greenhouse.

“Sas´ke, did you?” Naruto looked at his beloved husband with wide eyes.

“Well you have everything else and I know that you always wanted one.” Sasuke said with a smile as he led Naruto to an area filled with beautiful sunflowers. “I know that I shouldn´t because of the twins and all but she was so cute and she somehow reminds me of you.”

Naruto´s lips curled upwards in a wide smile as Sasuke parted the sunflowers where the blonde´s gift was waiting for him.

“Awww Sas´ke… she´s so cute. She´s beautiful. Were did you find her?” the blonde asked as the Uchiha picked up the little golden furred fox and handed her to Naruto who sat the curious little fur ball onto his wide stomach. She looked up at Naruto with her pretty blue eyes and crocked her head to the left.

“I found her a few weeks ago while she was searching for food… she can eat nearly as much as you used to Dobe,” Sasuke said just before he was thanked with a soft kiss on the lips from his significant other.

“Thank you Teme. She´s perfect. Does she have a name?” Naruto chuckled as the little fox licked his whiskered cheek.

She seemed to love her new owner instantly maybe because they looked so alike or because of the fox demon inside of Naruto.

Sasuke had saved her from certain death as she had been caught in the Otokage tower’s kitchen; searching for food a few weeks ago. She had been on the verge of starvations probably because of her golden color.

She wouldn´t have been able to blend in as well as the other foxes and as she had become too old for her mother to feed her she had tired to find something eatable in the city.

Sasuke had looked into her huge blue eyes and instantly thought about Naruto… and here she was, two weeks later in her new home in a warm embrace; well feed and purring happily as Naruto scratched her behind the ears.

“No I haven’t named her yet… that´s your job Naruto,” Sasuke told him.

“Speaking of names,” Kakashi asked as they walked back inside the house. “Have you decided on any names for the twins yet?”

“… No. We want to name the twins when we are able to hold them in our arms, but we have a few ideas for names though,” Naruto said with a chuckled as the young fox girl crawled into his soft hair to look at the crowd.

She was so small and yet so agile, and Naruto was happy that Sasuke had put the little fur ball on a leash or she would be all over the place.

“And what are those?” Kushina asked with anxiousness. She could hardly wait to become a grandmother and her son and his husband seemed to enjoy their little game of keeping the names a secret.

“It´s a secret.” The blonde grinned mischievously.

“Let´s give the birthday boy something to munch on and some more presents,” the Uchiha said with a smirk as he claimed his Dobe´s lips for a chaste kiss. “You just have to wait for a little longer to know the names O-baa-chan,” the Uchiha smirked at his mother-in-law.

“That can be arranged Sasuke-kun,” Iruka chuckled as he fetched the Uchiha a cup of coffee as said man led his Dobe to a comfortable chair. Kushina and Sakura brought in the food and everyone chatted while Naruto opened his presents.

“Here love, this is from your grandparents. They told me to say hi and tell you that they will visit you next months.” Kushina said as she offered the blonde a beautifully wrapped gift with the trademark swirls all over it. “Everything is going fine at the Country of the Whirlpool and the council has asked me to become the daimyo till Ryu is old enough to take over… if he wants to of course.”

“… I´m so exited to meet them again and Otouto is going to become the daimyo… wow, does he know yet?” the blonde asked. He had meet his grandparents at his wedding and found that he missed them as he opened the gift. He had missed out on so much during the past… now they had to catch up on everything.

“No not yet. He and his team will arrive here with the Kazekage and Kira-san… I´ll ask him then. I wonder if he´ll decline as he seems so happy to stay here with you and Sasuke-kun,” Kushina said.

She was so happy for both of her sons and she had finally accepted that her children had to choose their own path. She couldn´t force them to do what she thought was right for them… they had to make their own decisions and find their happiness… like she had found as she had run of to marry Minato even though her parents had been against it in the beginning.

Naruto looked into the box and his smile grew wider. It was a photo album with pictures of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, Kushina as a child, both of his parents together and baby pictures of him and Ryu.

“Teme we have to start make albums like this too. Kasan and Iruka-sensei has been taking a lot of pictures during our wedding, my pregnancy and of the city and it´s development… but I want tons of photos of the twins… TONS!” the blonde stated happily.

Kushina and Ryu had brought him some traditional clothing from The Country of The Whirlpool as well as some local plant seeds as they knew how much Naruto loved his greenhouse and his thriving plants and a lot of greeting cards from people who wanted to congratulate him on his marriage, the pregnancy and asked when he and his growing family would come to visit.

Naruto was happy about the attention and smiled as Kakashi and Iruka put three gifts down in from of him.

“Happy birthday brat,” Kakashi chuckled as he hugged the blonde he loved like his own son.

“Thanks, what is it?” Naruto asked curiously.

“Well, open them and find out,” Iruka grinned as he too hugged the blonde.

Naruto did as his surrogate father suggested and ripped the gifts open. The first one contained three books; one on how to raise kids, one about children and health and one on Yoga and stress relieve.

Naruto just grinned and shook his head. “I know how to relieve stress… I have the Teme to help me that,” he chuckled which caused everyone to look at Sasuke who just shook his head.

“Hn,” the Uchiha shook his head while smiling at his Dobe. Damn he was happy… and he wanted nothing more than to make this moment last though he knew that it was impossible… no one can be this happy all the time, he told himself.

“Hai Teme,” the blonde faked a pout and opened the next presents. It was a set of kunais with the Uchiha-Uzumaki clan mark imbedded in the handle.

“You are building a clan, so we thought it would be perfect to give you these.” Kakashi said with a warm glimpse in his visible eye.

“They are beautiful, thank you… But these must have coast a small fortune,” Naruto whispered as he was moved by his two surrogate fathers love.

“Nah it wasn´t that expensive and besides that you´re worth it.” Iruka said with a smile as he handed the blonde the last of their gifts.

It was two t-shirts; an orange and a black one. One low cut collar(the orange) for Naruto and the black one with the traditional high collar for Sasuke; both had the combined fan and swirl on the back.

Naruto caressed the soft fabric with his hands and smiled at his former sensei with tears of sheer happiness in his blue eyes.

“I love you guys,” he sobbed with a smile as he hugged Kakashi and Iruka. “Thank you so much.”

Naruto got pictures, letters and drawings from all his friends in Konoha, and then there were more handbooks on parenting, rare herbs and flowers for his greenhouse, sweets and some CD´s with relaxing music.

Sakura gave him books on gardening and child care and Jiraiya had made a photo album too which he had made from photo´s he had secretly taken as the blonde had traveled with the toad-sanin.

Naruto had never noticed that Jiraiya had photographed him and was overwhelmed by the variety of pictures from anything from his late night training till shopping trips and even a few pictures on which the young blonde was sleeping peacefully; sitting in a tree, laying on the grass or on the beach.

Sasuke and Sakura nearly drooled as they saw a photo of the blonde standing beneath a waterfall only dressed in a pair of black boxers; meditating. Naruto looked so peaceful and yet concentrated and his toned body glistered beneath the spay of the water and from the sun that reflected on his smooth skin.

“Wow… where did you take this?” the Uchiha asked as he swallowed hard to prevent himself from drooling. He had to find this location and take Naruto there sometimes to watch, drool and ravish his Dobe under that waterfall.

“Oh it was at the Grass I think.” Jiraiya chuckled. “Do you want me to point it out on a map for you, Sasuke-kun?”

“Oh please do… I think I have a map in my office,” the raven-haired Otokage nearly panted in anticipation as he rushed of to get the map. The sooner he got that location pointed out the better… and then he would send one of his team to check this place out as he had the growing suspicion that this place could become their favorite place for future vacations.

Now all he had to do was to convince Kira-chan to come back and watch over the Sound while he, Naruto and the twins were gone.

Naruto had never received so much positive attention and gifts on his birthday and was so overwhelmed by emotions and hormones that tears of happiness streamed down his whiskered cheeks.

“It´s alright love… we understand.” Sasuke whispered as he hugged his Dobe and kissed the tears away. They had both been alone for so many long years… it would take time… for both of them to have so many good friends and family around them again… but they would learn it in due time, of that the Uchiha was certain because if he could get used to it… so would Naruto.

“So what will you name your little fox?” Kakashi asked wit a chuckle as Naruto was smiling brightly once more as the little fox licked the opposite cheek that Sasuke was kissing.

“Um… She looks like an Aya don´t you think sensei?” Naruto chuckled as the little fox stuck her nose into his ear to see what was in there.

“Aya is a cute name, I like it,” Kakashi grinned and so the little golden fox on Naruto´s shoulder was named.

“Oi birthday boy!” A cheerful voice called out from behind them. Everyone turned around only to stare at the newcomers with wide eyes and gaping mouths.

“Gaara, Kira… Oh my… so the rumors where true?” Naruto gaped as he and the others saw the small bulge on the blonde girl’s stomach.

“You´re pregnant!” Sasuke stated. Well so much for asking her to come back to take over his job for his vacations… which meant no hot Naruto beneath a waterfall… No, he had to see that… at least once. Sasuke had to find someone he trusted who could take Kira´s place… and he had to find one soon.

“Yes she is. Nearly five months along.” Gaara told them. He looked a bit more tired than usual but still he seemed happy.

“We stopped by at Konoha to get a scan at the Konoha medical facility. Tsunade-sama says hi and wanted us to wish you a happy birthday Naruto-kun. We were also asked to give this letter to you Kakashi-san.” The redhead said as he handed the copy-nin a sealed scroll.

“Thank you and congratulations,” Naruto said with a warm smile. “So what is it going to be? A boy or a girl?”

“A boy.” Kira grinned as she kissed Naruto on the cheek. “Awww how cute, when did you get a pet?”

“Sasuke gave her to me today. He name is Aya. A boy… cool. We´ll all be parents soon then. So you´ll be moving permanently to Suna then?” Naruto asked her. “Where is my otouto by the way?”

“Yeah. We´re going to get married once the baby has been born.” She told him. She had missed the Sound, Sasuke and Naruto a lot and they would always stay in her heart, no matter where she was. “And Ryu-kun had to meet with his team. He´ll be here later.”

“Oh well, it´s not that Suna-gakure is that far away… we can see each other on a regular basis. So how is your pregnancy doing?” Naruto asked with a grin.

“Gaara says that my food combinations make him sick, though I can´t imagine why.”

“Chocolate ice-cream with carrots and beef ramen… it creeps me out,” the Kazekage stated while he wrinkled his nose at the thought of his girlfriends odd food cravings.

“Yeah, I´m familiar with that reaction,” Naruto couldn´t help but to laugh as he remembered Sasuke´s reaction towards his fried rice with chocolate sauce and crispy toppings, the crumbling crackers in their bed and his addiction for frozen bananas… though the Teme seemed to like the way that Naruto´s nibbled at the frozen fruit.

“Sasuke?”

“Yes Kakashi-sensei?” Sasuke asked as the silver-haired nin tapped him on the shoulder.

“Can Iruka and I have a word with you in private?”

“Sure,” the Otokage said as he led them into his office. “What is wrong?”

“Nothing. But we wanted to ask you something important.” Kakashi said.

“What do you need, Kakashi?” Sasuke asked as he sat down at his desk while Iruka and Kakashi sat down on the opposite side.

“You know how important Naruto is to Iruka and me right?”

“Yes. You both love him like a son, I know that.” The Uchiha said in a bored tone. Kakashi was staling and Sasuke wasn´t one who possessed a lot of patience. “Get to the point already.”

“Iruka and I have requested a permanent transfer from Konoha to the Sound as we both want to help Naruto and you much as possible. We´ve just received Tsunade-sama´s answer. She allows it… so I hope that we´re welcome to stay here.” Kakashi said.

“… Say what?”

“Can Iruka and I stay at the Sound? It would be nice if ´Ruka could continue to work at the academy.”

“Yes, I would love to teach the children and it´ll be a good way to show the other nations that Konoha and the Sound are bound together.” Iruka added.

“Why didn´t you come to me first, sensei? This is a bit sudden. And what do I have to do in return? Tsunade isn´t one to just give up on her shinobi that easily,” Sasuke said while his mind was working to use this turn of events to his advantage. He cherished Iruka and Kakashi and was pleased that they wanted to move here for his and Naruto´s sake.

To two shinobi were skilled and trustworthy. Iruka and Kakashi offer was priceless to the Otokage… but why would Tsunade accept this?

“Well we wanted to surprise you and it would only disappoint Naruto if we weren’t allowed to stay. Iruka bugged Tsunade with our request ever since we located Naruto here and I have pretty much done the same as I want to stay with my dolphin. Tsunade wants to help you and Naruto-kun and she would surely go crazy from Iruka´s nagging within a week if she refused.” The silver-haired nin explained with an amused tone of voice.

“And as Naruto is like son to us… it feels like your children are our… grandchildren. We would both like to see them grow up.” Iruka said with a shy smile.

“Alright. I will accept your offer and allow Iruka to teach at the academy if you do something for me, Kakashi.” The raven said with a smirk. He would let them stay anyway but he wanted to use Kakashi´s presence here in the best possible way… he was perfect for the job he had in mind for his perverted sensei.

“Oh?”

“I want you to take over Kira´s place as my second in command. I trust you though you can be a lazy ass at times. I need someone who can help me with the paperwork and look after the place when I´m away on business or vacation. I know that the council has added your name on the list of candidates for the next Hokage so you´ll be perfect for the job. It would be an honor to welcome you and Iruka here… we are like family after all.” The Otokage said as he rose to his feet to shake Kakashi´s hand who just hugged the Uchiha.

“Sure thing Sasuke. I´d love to be your V.P. as long as the pay is good. Oh to hell with that, as long as it means that I would be able to be with Iruka every day and see our grandkids I don´t care what I´ll do for a living though it´s definitely an improvement from my job in Konoha ne?” He grinned.

“Yeah sure is. Welcome to the Sound you old pervert. Come, let´s give the good news to Naruto, Iruka and the others.”
