The Wedding
Hey everybody! Sorry it has taken me some time to update. I have been super busy lately. This story is getting ready to come to an end. This is probably the second to last chapter.
I dont' own Naruto nor do I profit from my fics
It had arrived, the day was here, the biggest day of Neji and Ten Ten’s life together: their wedding day. The date was April 15 and Ten Ten and Neji had never looked more gorgeous. The ceremony had been beautiful and now….it was party time. It was the biggest, wildest party Hyuugas ever had. Neji knew his aunt and uncle would be screwing like rabbits…it was a Hyuuga wedding! Naruto was there on behalf of Neji and Ten Ten as their guest and Hinata’s parents had already started drinking so they didn’t completely realize that their daughter was hanging all over him. Ten Ten looked like an angel in her white and green wedding kimono, the green embroidery around the edges was simply perfect and Neji in his green kimono that matched the green embroidery in Ten Ten’s kimono looked like absolute royalty. They were immaculate. Hiashi’s very drunk aunt walked up to Ten Ten and hugged her sloppily and told her what a wonderful daughter-in-law she was going to be…then she said the unexpected…it made Ten Ten blush and she only hoped her mother didn’t hair the drunk Hyuuga wife’s loud remarks.
“Ten Ten, darling. You must be excited to make love in your own home tonight…oh god! When I moved into the main house with Hiashi…he banged me all night, sweetheart, I expect a phone call from you or Neji tomorrow telling me that you can’t walk!” Neji’s aunt laughed like crazy.” Ten Ten hugged her back but was then thrilled when the very drunk Hyuuga Hiashi swept her up into a very raunchy kiss.
Lee and Gai Sensei were honored guests as well. Of course they were both a little over enthused about the newly wed couple.
“Neji! Ten Ten! Youa re married! This is truly the springtime of youth! This is truly the greatest day of days! Young love in it’s full blossom! The springtime of your young lives together has begun!” Gai Sensei emphatically declared. Tonight neither Neji or Ten Ten cared how long they rambled.
“Neji! Ten Ten! You are my best friends! It is an honor to be here at your wedding! To be a witness of your lives together!” Lee burst into tears of joy and squeezed them both to pieces.
“Neji! Neji we’re ready for your toast. We need to open the sake! Make the toast Neji!” Hiashi demanded of him, slinging his arm around Neji’s shoulders. To be so drunk, Hiashi and his wife still managed to look beautiful.
“Okay, Hiashi…but you’ve already gotten in to the sake.” Neji told him, holding on to his uncle. The crowd there for the wedding reception grew silent and awaited the toast. “Here’s to my wife…Ten Ten…whom I love very much and here’s to everyone here who’s sober enough to know why you’re drinking.” The toast was well received and there was a rising of sake cups (fortunately, they kept Lee out of the sake). Neji and Ten Ten shared what had to have been their 20th kiss as a married couple. They both knew that they would be a drunken mess by the end of the night. Neji took Ten Ten in his arms after they had drank their sake. There had already been at least 500 pictures taken of the wedding, of Neji and Ten Ten, of Ten Ten and her mother…any combination, the photos had been taken.
It was exhausting for Neji and Ten Ten to make their rounds to visit with all their guests (drunk or not). They wanted to acknowledge everyone who had come to witness their wedding and they had been showered with gifts from the rich Hyuugas that were in attendance and naturally they wanted to thank each person for their gift. Ten Ten had hugged her mother at least 50 times that evening; her mother was so proud of her and loved seeing her little girl as a perfect bride.
“Listen don’t tell mom and dad I’m letting you do this.” Hinata said to her little sister.
“Why? I don’t see the big deal?” Hanabi insisted.
“Well, it’s sake and you’re only 13. You shouldn’t be drinking, but this is a big deal tonight.” Hinata said,
“Hinata…I walked in on them once...I think I can handle the sake.” Hanabi said taking too big a gulp of the sake. She started coughing and choking all over the place. Hinata and Naruto laughed at her, it was obvious that was Hanabi’s first sip of sake, she tried to drink it like water…her father could do that…but she obviously couldn’t. Hanabi recovered and took a smaller sip the second time. It would be funny to see Hanabi drunk.
By 1:30 am most of the guests had left and only Hiashi, his wife, Hinata, Naruto and Ten Ten’s mother remained.
“Are they always so…open like that?” Ten Ten’s mother asked her softly referring to Hiashi’s continuous passes at his wife and her continuous acceptance of them.
“Well, mainly when they’ve been drinking.” Ten Ten said trying not to laugh. She was pretty drunk herself. It was obvious that Neji and Ten Ten were ready to leave their own party. They had a different party to get to. They walked Neji’s aunt and uncle home to the main house, the house where Neji lived only a few days ago.
“Neji…I’m going to miss you….you know us living together. I mean we didn’t always get along, but things are different now.” Hinata was growing sentimental, it could have been due to the alcohol, or she could have been growing teary eyed. Neji hugged her.
“I’m not far away, and besides Ten Ten is your sister- in-law and I’m sure you will be spending plenty of time at our house.” Hinata smiled. Neji was right. Ten Ten hugged her mother and her mother insisted on going home alone, her baby wouldn’t be coming home with her tonight, and she promised herself that she wouldn’t cry in front of Ten Ten. It was part of the reason she wanted to walk home alone. She would cry herself to the door, she wasn’t sad, she was so thrilled for her daughter, it was just the thought that her daughter was a grown woman, not the little toddler she once chased around the house.
Neji and Ten Ten were alone now, still clad in their beautiful wedding attire. Neji led her to their, the door of their gorgeous completely made-over home. Neji unlocked the door and she stepped inside before him, she hadn’t seen the finishing touches. The ceiling fans hummed overhead and the lights were dimly lit and the house was like a perfect untouched paradise. Ten Ten was terrified to walk across the floors. This was her home now, it was official Ten Ten was living among the rich…she was one of the rich now, a Hyuuga’s bride, a woman who would glow with pristine radiance, much like Hiashi’s wife, much like all the other Hyuuga brides. Neither Neji or Ten Ten had seen their finished bedroom…it was time to see it. And it was time for the wedding kimonos to go into their boxes that would preserve them forever…just like their marriage.
