A Devil with an angels' face

CHAPTER 3: A devil with an angel’s face

They were given a small but comfortable room furnished in the most traditional style. A Japanese door led to the garden and the external pool full of cold thermal waters coming from a waterfall nearby. All these details that Naruto hadn’t even noticed the night before excited him more than an infinite amount of ramen. He had been dealing with an unusual tightness in his pants all the way back to the inn, and now the sight of his best friend taking off his own t-shirt made his throat dry.

“I’m hungry,” Sasuke said. “You could go to the dining room and order some dinner.”
“What do you want to eat?” the blond said, his eyes still fixed on the other boy’s well-built torso.
“Kyuubi-Naruto,” he smiled mischievously.
“I… I mean… food, you know!”

For Sasuke it was a delight to see the usually innocent face of his friend constantly changing its colour. It could be golden, and red, and pallid, or all of them at the same time. His own hue was always white or pinkish, so he found the full range of shades alluring. Those blue eyes shared that property too. He had seen them turn red like a beast’s, or glow with passionate fury; if one paid enough attention, the little flames could be seen devouring the pure blue around. They became glowing; ‘just like now,’ Sasuke thought.

“Then… order some ramen. I don’t care, you choose. But nothing too sweet.”

Naruto thought he only needed to giggle and bounce around and he would become an “improved” version of old Sakura, the one who looked flushed at the mere sight of her beloved.

‘What’s happening to me? I feel I’d jump off a cliff right now if he asked me. This can’t be… no… no, let’s go eat some ramen and I will forget about it.’

He exited the room and came back with two bowls of chicken ramen and two beverages. The landlady had offered him a big bottle of sake but he refused. Feeling as he did now, he couldn’t risk becoming even sillier and hotter due to alcohol. It shocked him that Sasuke acted completely normal even after having said that intense, provocative thing to him in the forest. Well… Sasuke had not changed, that was for sure. He could be perfectly quiet and cool for hours. However, Naruto was not going to put up with his silence.

“Sasuke.”
“Nani?”
“‘Before… you said I would have to give you what you wanted, didn’t you. What did you mean?”

The raven-haired boy smiled to himself. He couldn’t be *that* simple, could be? Oh well… then he’d tease him for a while.

“‘I wanted food, and you got it for me, right? That was it.”
“Wh-what?”
“‘And now I want a bath. But that I can take by myself.”

‘What a bastard. So he meant that, huh?’ Naruto thought, totally confused.

“You really are so innocent, Naruto,” Sasuke said, using his speed to appear right behind his friend and put his palms on his shoulders. “You don’t have any clue about what I plan to do to you, right?”

The Uchiha boy kissed Naruto’s collarbone slowly, paying attention to every little sound the blond’s lips elicited.

“How noisy, baka,” he muttered, surrounding his friend’s torso with his strong arms, embracing him.
“What… can I do? You don’t know what you’re doing to… me, Sasuke,” he gasped.
“You like it.”
“‘Hai…”

Naruto decided it was time to do something and, ridding himself of those arms, he turned around and kissed Sasuke fervently. He had no practice, but he guessed what to do and some seconds later the two boys were sharing a long wet kiss, their tongues struggling with each other’s, their hands intertwining without them even noticing. It was made clear that their bodies wanted to be together, and not Naruto’s innocence, nor Sasuke’s coldness would make them try to avoid the contact.

“‘I missed you” Naruto confessed, recovering his breath.” I wanted to find you, Sasuke.”

Sasuke only smiled, but that was more than an answer being the way he was.

“‘What about a bath?” he proposed. “The two of us, so you can tell me the rest.”

‘The rest… oh oh, shit! I fucking love him. Calm down, Naruto. What if he’s still toying with you? No, Sasuke wouldn’t smile if he weren’t serious. His damn smile. SO sexy.’

They finished their already cold meal, and changed their clothes for white towels to wrap around themselves during the short way to the pool. It was empty, as they were no other guests at the inn at the moment, and moonlight made the clear waters sparkle like silver.

“Sugoi,” Naruto muttered, feeling happy at the perspective of sharing that place with Sasuke.

When he stopped daydreaming and his feet touched the ground again, he realized that the black-haired boy was not by his side anymore. He had entered the water, and he was standing on the centre of the pool, naked, his pale skin shining under the moonlight. He didn’t look *human*, Naruto thought, he was an ethereal creature, a devil with an angel’s face. Naruto removed his towel and dived into his arms.

Author’s Notes: He he I’m being a good girl today and I substituted yaoi with a calculated amount of sweetness… but don’t worry, I’ll give you all the yaoi you want in the next chapters. I love *my* Naruto! Isn’t he cute? ^o^
