Sorry for not posting....My internet got cut off....then when i got it back my computer broke!
-_-" I know that it sounds like excuses, but it's true!

He had been unconcious for awhile, he knew from experience. When he opened his eyes everything was blurry. He thought he heard a soft voice tell him not to worry, but he couldn't be sure. Soon he fell back into unconciousness.

Naji's POV

She had seen the cute blonde open his eyes and wondered if he had actually seen or heard her.
"Maybe I gave him too much medicine......He looks older than he seems...." She paced back and forth, nibbling on the edge of her clothing.
"This is bad......what were those boy's doing to him?......They looked like they were playing with him as if he was a punching bag.....poor Blondy...." She walked over to him and checked his poultice. When she removed it she was surprised to see that his wounds had already healed! "What the....I thought no one could heal that fast......" She leaned over and pulled a blanket over him. After that she sat down beside him and watched him as he slept.
A little while later the medicine seemed to wear down, he wasn't unconcious anymore, just sleeping. She watched his face and almost instantly knew the lonliness in his heart.

Naruto's POV

He woke up in a strange house, wondering what had happened; hoped to any god there was that he wasn't lying in Kori's house. As he slowly got up he noticed one thing, he felt no pain. After having a Kunai driven into his side he should at least feel something! Maybe he had died....Maybe he had woken up in Heaven....As he looked around, finally taking in all the detail, he spotted a young girl in red. She was very pretty and seemed to be holding something in her hand. He got up and crept over to her, after carefully extracting the bottle he read the inscription.
"Open wound salve? What's that supposed to mean?" He heard something moveing in the room and turned just in time for his soft icy blue eyes to meet harder fire red eyes.
He had so many questions to ask, but he was speechless. Her eyes were as red as his were blue, they had to be the only people in Konoha who had eyes that peircing in coulor.
"What's your name?" her vioce...it was so familiar....and the clothes she was wearing...they where the same colour as the red blur that had saved his life!
"Ah! You! Your the one that took me away from the fight!" He pionted at her.
"Why did you interfere! i could have taken them by myself!" He hadn't meant to say that...he had meant to thank her but he just didn't know how....

Naji's POV

She had been awoken by her patient, he seemed interested in the bottle of salve she had used on his wound. When he noticed her and stared into her eyes, she could have sworn, she fell into the softness of his eyes. She had to force herself to speak. When she asked him what his name was, he started to talk about how she had interupted his fight with the other boys.
"Well....I won't interupt next time then!" She spoke very calmly, so calmly in fact that the other boy had stopped and looked almost scared of her.
"Hey....are you mad at me or somethin?" He had sat down on the floor and looked very cautious.
"No I'm just....." Her stomach had begun to rumble. "I geuss I'm hungry...." She said almost blushing. The blonde boy just smiled and nodded.
"I'm hungry too....wanna go get Ramen?" he glanced at her and saw her eyes go wide.
"This village has Ramen? Then it can't be all that bad!" She walked over to Naruto and pulled him off the floor and onto his feet.

Naruto's POV

She pulled him to his feet and she looked excited.
"Show me where it is!" He laughedand thought, finally someone who loves Ramen as much as I do! He took her to the stand and they sat eating Ramen for at least an hour.
"What's your name? I didn't hear it back at the house..." Naruto asked shyly.
"My names Naji....what's yours?" She had just finished her fifth bowl and placed it with the other empty ones on the table.
"I'm Naruto, and I'm gonna be the next Hokage! believe it!" She laughed and nodded.
"With that aditude you just might be!" He nearly spilled his ramen when he heard her say it. Any of the others would call him a stupid fox and laugh in his face! Yet, she had no sarcasm in her voice, she actually seemed to believe him!
"Hey you two! How are you going to pay for all that?" Yelled the Ramen shack owner. Naruto wass taken aback and nearly fell out of his seat. Naji raised her hand and in a calm voice said "I'll pay for it, how much will it be?"
The owner and Naji stood argueing about prices naji with a calm face and the owner with an almost smile on his face.
Then as he turned to look down the street he spotted Kori, Vera and all the others.....and they looked beyond angry.....
