The Two Halfs

The new house.


It turned out the house was huge. It was located near the outskirts of the village. It was a two-story house that connected to other smaller houses on either side. It also had a huge yard for playing and practicing ninja arts. The main house itself was an off white color with rock formations all around. The stairs that lead up to the front wooden door was also wood with two stone statues of sphinxes.

The inside was even more beautiful with the carpeting being green and the furniture matching it. It even had pictures of landscapes. The Kitchen was huge with two islands in the middle. There were even two pantries.

The bathrooms and bedrooms where either upstairs or down stairs equally huge. The group was so impressed they all wanted the main house so there was only one way to decide.

Straws decided that Kakashi and Yuna were to have the West house while Nina and Kyo had the middle and finally Gai and Ling had the east house.

The West house was a little smaller then the middle one but it still was pretty huge. It had its own little backyard. The inside was covered in a tan paint with the carpet matching it. They to had a large kitchen with bathrooms and bedrooms. The East house had white walls with a tan-ish white carpet and the same with the other houses.

The three backyards all connected in the end and they were lead to a dojo as Kyo said or for the others a place to train. The place was huge with wooden floors and paper doors. With wooden walk ways everywhere. It was safe to say they were all happy.

So there you have it they all became friends and each took care to train the baby. Naruto by the time he was five knew the history of the village and was starting to learn taijutsu with other things.

He found out who he could pester and not. Nina was one of those you didn’t want to pester. She was demanding but she would treat him like a mother. Kyo was also demanding but not as bad and besides if he was good Kyo said he would teach him some sword tech.

Everyone else was laid back and easy but Gai still creeped him out sometimes.

That was the routine throughout the years. Naruto would wake up and spar with whomever while he had training weights on. Then he would learn knew jutsus with Kakashi and Nina then he would train with Kyo. Yes he was doing a lot but he didn’t care because he loved the attention.

When he was about seven they enrolled him in the academy where he could be with kids his age. There he met Iruka sensei along with other kids. Like Sakura and Hinata. He also met Sasuke and Kiba along with everyone else. Naruto wasn’t sure if he liked Sasuke yet being all high and mighty but maybe he had to show off like that.

“ Hey dobe stop daydreaming and help me.” Sasuke said irritated while Sakura giggled. Yes she had a crush on Sasuke and not him but at east she was his friend a start right? You see Ever since Naruto laid eyes on Sakura he instantly fell in love with her. But she wanted Sasuke like everyone else. Even though Naruto was one of the top students he still couldn’t get Sakura to look at him.

They were currently in class. It had been at least five years since they knew each other. After the incident with Sasuke’s family he had moved in with Naruto and now Sakura would always be over there with Hinata and Ino insulting each other like always. They seemed to have a rivalry with Sasuke and Naruto all the time. Nara the lazy boy who always looked at clouds said it was how girls are which puzzled Naruto even more.

But then again almost everything puzzled him specially the way Hinata acted around him. He remembered when he first met her. It was about five years ago when Naruto and Nina went over to the Hyuuga house to say hi. Naruto had been bored sitting there watching the grownup talk when he walked outside. There he saw Hinata practicing throwing stars. He waled up and buntly stated she was doing it wrong. Then he should her and that’s who they met.


Naruto broke from his thoughts and looked around, the teacher was talking about other countries, which really didn’t interest him at all since Ling told him about them already. He ooked around bored to death then saw Sasuke writing down the notes. What a nerd he thought.

“ Hey Sasuke you want to go to the ramen stand after class?” Naruto said quietly. He had been caught talking enough in class today.

“ Why not.” He said without looking at him. He saw that Sakura and Hinata would also go and that was why he asked Sasuke because where he went the girls went.

So the small group left and went to eat at the stand. Like they always did. It was a sort of ritual for them. They would come in a big group every week and talk about their lives. Then Naruto and Sasuke would head home for a real meal as Nina always put it. Yes life was great with friends and family what could go wrong?

“Hey do you think the exams will be easy?” Naruto had asked Sasuke on their way home. He really wanted to pass to become a real ninja like his family maybe even a swordsman.

“I now I’ll pass so you should to so stop worrying dobe.” Sasuke grunted with a small smile. He wanted to grow up and become an Anbu that way he would protect his “family” from people like his brother. Yes the stoic boy didn’t want revenge anymore after he had met Naruto and his family.

They walked in the front door only to be greeted by Kakashi and Gai smiling.
Then without a word they both produced weighted training clothes.

“WHAT!” exclaimed Naruto loudly they weren’t supposed to get anymore for at least a week.

“For good luck and the power of youth!” Gai said smiling. The two took them signing. Gai always said that towards everything. They were pretty glad they didn’t have him as their junnin sensei.

They all then talked a little waiting for Nina’s fantastic food. She was the one who made the food and it was the greatest. Naruto even liked it and he was the king of ramen.

That night they were all at the table laughing and having the time of their lives. Telling joking and competing on such things like who could eat the most and of course the staring contest against all the males.

Kyo suddenly leaned in on Naruto. “Hey buddy why don’t we leave after the exams tomorrow and get you a real sword?” Kyo said smirking. Kyo to Naruto was like an older sibling. They both liked to pull pranks and loved practicing sword tech. It turns out that Kyo had declined to be an junnin instructor. Al he wanted to do was find challenges so it was rare to see him eat with everyone. He was usually out.

Naruto face lightened up like the sun. He had always wanted a sword of his own. “You bet.” He said loudly. His blue eyes sparkling. (Literally).

Everyone was laughing except for Ling who didn’t approve of swords for some reason or another.

The next day Naruto and his gang went to the academy and past with flying colors like everyone said. The next thing he knew was that he was looking at the coolest sword he had ever seen. But as it turned out he was to short for the thing so Kyo had suggested a short sword.

Naruto looked through their selection. They were at a town that was close to the village. The place they were in was pretty run down but they seemed to have the best selection in town.

That was when he saw the sword he wanted. The hilt was back with red flames going down. The blade itself was sleek silver that reflected anything. Plus it was cheap and the perfect fit for right now. So Kyo bought it then stated that he should get one more.

So when they walked out of the store Naruto had two swords on his waist just like Kyo. When they got back it turned out Sasuke had also gotten something. His every own wind shuriken from Kakashi and Yuna.

After that it felt like days had past for Naruto but in reality it was a few months. It turned out that he, Sakura, and Sasuke were on a team while Kakashi was there juunin teacher.

Naruto still remembered that day like it was yesterday. It was a shock for him when Ikura sensei called out their team. Sakura off course yelled out a big Yes when Sasuke and her were on a team but then she seemed to boo when Naruto was called on the exact same team but the two boys ignored her and flashed each other a small smile. They wanted to see who was the better of them. But then when the other teams started to leave and they were left behind they knew.

Three hours latter Kakashi came into an empty room. He scratched his head and headed for the ramen stand where they were. Naruto chuckled remembering that Kakashi had to pay for the ramen. Lets just say he wasn’t that late again.

It seemed the old man Hokage had done this on purpose to put them all in a team but no one protested. In those months they had to do stupid D rank missions that were far beyond pathetic. They did have some C ranks here and there but nothing to extreme.

They also found out that Nina and Yuna were pregnant and Ling was on her way to try. The males were so happy they all ran towards the Hot Springs with sake in hand laughing and congratulating everyone. Naruto and Sasuke from that day on would never drink again. They had killer hangovers and Nina yelled at them for two hours straight.

It turned out that Yuna had a boy with red hair and green eyes. He looked just ike Kakashi while Nina had twins. Two healthy girls both with dark blue hair. One had Kyo’s eyes while the other had the white eyes off a Hyuuga.

So it seemed that their family was growing even bigger then before but this time they all had enough room. Naruto walked down the hallway towards his room when he spotted Sasuke outside training with his shuriken. Naruto opened the glass door and walked out on the wooden patio.

The sun was pretty warm like it always was. The trees were in bloom with Sakura petals. They were currently surrounding Sasuke while he practiced. It seemed to Naruto that Sasuke wanted to be the best like he did. Everyone knew the chuunin exams were coming up but with the babies and everything else Naruto wanted to take at least one day off of training but it seemed Sasuke had other ideas.

Naruto walked over the edge and sat down staring at the sky. He started to think about Hinata for some reason I mean they were only friends right? Sasuke on the other hand had a crush on Sakura. Everyone knew in the household practically. Yeah everything was pretty normal he would have to say and with his sword tech. Man he would love to show them off but…
Kyo had always disapproved of that way. He would say

“Naruto you should never show off. If you did then the enemy would know what you were capable off. You need to be focused and never just charge in by blind fury.”

But then again that’s what all his teachers say with more mixed up and fancy words. Naruto suddenly grabbed at his stomach still looking up. Yeah he learned about the fox some time ago when Gai had slipped up. That was when Nina had to come in and say that it was aright and that they didn’t care.

He had asked why the villagers didn’t do anything and found out that they didn’t know so he would never tell them. He could just imagine what that life would be like to have everyone shun you. No thank you he thought.

Naruto got up and put his hands in his pocket before going back inside. It seemed that Ling was pregnant so that was why everyone was gone that or another mission so Naruto and Sasuke had the house to themselves with the babies of course. Yes he loved his life.


That's it and don't worry The next Ch. is when he finaly see some action and the big secret.
