.................... .:Chapter 2: Help, I'm a girl! :. ..................

Humming to herself while running gelled fingers through her hair so it would stick up, Sakura smiled to herself, happy with her costume.


She had been searching since 7:00 A.M. this morning trying to find someone who would loan her a chuunin's vest. Not many people would let her, thinking she was trying to impersonate a teacher for some odd reason, but a quick explanation to Iruka-sensei and she now had one sprawled across her bed. Along with a navy blue jumpsuit, she was all set for the party.


She had just pulled down her headband so that it covered one of her eyes, when her doorbell began to ring frantically, as if someone was punching the poor thing.


Remembering her parents were gone for the weekend, attending a party out of town only for adults, Sakura raced down the stairs, the ringing becoming more frantic.


"Alright, I'm comeing! Calm down."


Opening the door, she squeaked when a blackish-blue blur rushed past her and slammed the door shut.


"Sakura, you have to help me!"


Blinking down at the panting frame of Sasuke, she sweatdropped as he looked completely lost. What could be so bad that he had come crawling to her for help?


"What do you mean?"


Catching his breathe, Sasuke looked left and right with shifty eyes, as if someone was eavesdropping on him. Takeing a deep breathe, he relayed yesterday's events and what he was doomed to be.


Letting out a roar of laughter, Sakura played her role as a pink-haired Kakashi well as she began to taunt him.


"Well, I'm glad you find it funny! I don't even like it, let alone find it funny!"


Setteling down, Sakura grabbed his wrist and drug him up the stairs to her room, a strange glint in her eye. Shutting the door behind them, she told him to sit on the bed as she threw open her wardrobe and dug through piles of clothes in all different colors of the rainbow.


Sitting down on Sakura's bed, Sasuke began twideling with his fingers, looking anywhere but the horrid clothes pile infront of him. He really wasn't going to go through with it, but he couldn't back down to a challenge. Even if it meant degrading himself infront of his closest friends. And he just knew Naruto was going to be there. Hopefully, he had got something more embarrasing than him. Though he greatly doubted it.


Looking over at the hunter green chuunin's vest beside him, Sasuke had only just now noticed what Sakura was wearing. With her help, maybe he could look half decent for this thing.


Laying back on the bed, he remembered a day, a year ago perhaps, she had told him the most shocking thing.


They were at the park, sharing a lunchbreak and conversing file reports and such. Taking on the role of investigating crime scenes, the two saw each other on the job often. Sakura being a nurse and having vast medical knowledge, and Sasuke being a member of ANBU were both tireing all in all. Naruto was the lucky one. He didn't have to do much. He was now a Jounin, and as such he was only working two maybe three times a week on missions.


Taking the brief quiet around them at the time as an oppurtunity to relieve herself of a secret she had been long over due to spill, Sakura had turned to him with confidence.


She didn't like him anymore.


It seems that over the course of time that Sasuke had been with Orochi-teme, she had discovered she was actually a bisexual. Explaining to him that she had been confused about her sexuality, she had braved talking to Ino about it. She was her only real female friend in the village, and it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Confessing herself, the blonde had told her she was also bi, and that she had been harbouring a crush on her since their early childhood. They immediately hit it off after that, calling it offical and becoming an item. Everyone had taken it so well, as if they knew all along. There was no harsh judgement said or smart remarks. But that might be part of the fact that Ino had sworn to tear anyone who had something to say a new ass.


After hearing how well everyone had accepted the two, Sasuke had decided that he would tell Sakura his own little secret. He had brought her to their old meeting place on the bridge, and confessed to being gay. Sakura had let out a burst of laughter, gaining attention from passersby, making him want to drown himself in the water below them. Patting him on the shoulder, all she had said was that if he ever needed any advice or help, that her an Ino both would be there for him. Also that she had kinda guessed it since that whole deal years ago in the Mist village.


Stirred from his thoughts by a muffled 'Aha!' coming from inside the wardrobe, Sasuke propped himself up onto his elbows and wished he had stayed down when he took in the sight before him.


"No.Way.In.Hell."


Sighing to herself, Sakura folded the long kimono over her arm and pulled Sasuke up from the bed, ushering him infront of the mirror and holding it infront of his form so she could see if it would fit.


"You want to look like a Geisha, don't you?"


"..."


"Then suck it up and sit in that chair over there so I can put your make-up on."


"WHAT?!"

I-cHaN : Again, I know it's kinda short, but again with the frivolities -.-; So anyway, I need more suggestions on costumes! Bare in mind, I have the Sand three and the twelve Leaf nin attending,plus the freaking Sensei's so any help wold be appreciated! I was going to include the Sound three, but seeing as how Dosu is dead, I kinda couldn't -.-; Please review DX I left the other two chapters up for like a half a month and I only got 4 reviews XP
