A Night with the Family
“It’s…nice to meet you, Hiashi-sama.” Ten Ten said tentatively. She was so nervous…she didn’t want to say something stupid like ‘your nephew is really good in bed’. Neji’s aunt and other cousin Hanabi appeared shortly after Ten Ten’s entrance.
“Ten Ten, hello dear. Come sit down, our dinner is ready.” Hiashi’s wife was so hospitable. Hinata introduced Ten Ten to Hanabi, who greeted her with a smile just like her mother’s. Hiashi was the head of the table each night at dinner, Neji usually sat to his right, but tonight it was Ten Ten. Hinata was across from Ten Ten and her mother was sitting to her right. Hanabi was seated beside Ten Ten. The meal looked lovely, it was obvious the Hyuugas could cook. Ten Ten was terrified sitting that close to Hiashi.
“Ten Ten, you’re a ninja. What is your specialty?” Hiashi asked. Ten Ten had never had this many white eyes on her. Hinata was the only one who didn’t watch Ten Ten carefully.
“Weapons, sir. I specialize in weapons.” Ten Ten answered. Hiashi nodded. Hiashi smelled good, kind of like Neji.
“I imagine you are strong, you train with Neji, right? So, you must be able to keep up with him.” Hiashi looked at her again.
“Well, I do have my strengths that help Neji. But, he is much stronger than I.” she said. Dinner was surprisingly comfortable. Ten Ten wasn’t as terrified as she thought she would be. However, as she watched Hinata’s family she realized that the Hyuugas were a different kind of people. They were full of poise, they were elegant, they were polite and they were very much in touch with their sensual side. After dinner, Ten Ten complimented Hinata’s mother on her delicious meal and offered to help her clean up the kitchen.
“Ten Ten do you cook?” Hiashi asked her.
“Yes, Hiashi-sama, I do.” Hiashi shook his head in approval. Neji and Ten Ten’s relationship never came up, Ten Ten was thrilled of this…she didn’t want Hiashi to ask her something like ‘Ten Ten do you like it hard or gentle?’
“How old are you, dear?” His wife asked.
“I’m 16.” Ten Ten answered handing her clean plates. After the kitchen was cleaned Hiashi motioned for Ten Ten to come sit with him on their couch. The rest of the family was close behind. Then he asked the questions she hoped he wouldn’t ask…
“You’re the girl aren’t you? You’re her, the one Neji is crazy about?”
“Thank god he didn’t say the one Neji is banging…” She thought to herself. Even though she knew Hiashi already knew that Neji had lost his virginity to her. Ten Ten hesitated.
“Yes, yes I’m…her.” She looked at Hiashi, his white eyes were studying her. Hiashi smiled.
“He needs you. He needs so much. Neji’s a bitter person, but now, he’s less bitter. Neji has changed. Please, be patient with him.” Hiashi smiled. Ten Ten wasn’t certain what to say. What do you say when the uncle of the guy you’re sleeping with says things like this.
“I will.” Ten Ten finally decided those were the best words for the moment. Ten Ten watched as Hiashi’s wife put her hands on his shoulders. Hinata gave Ten Ten that ‘I told you mom was screwing dad all the time’ look. It was true no woman touched her husband’s shoulders like that if she wasn’t getting something in return. Being with Neji’s family this evening only made her miss him more. She was in his home with his family…only he wasn’t there. She was on the couch where they had been together…yet he was gone. Yet, Ten Ten had to smile to herself; watching Hinata; she was so sweet and innocent around her parents…yet when she got with Naruto it was as if she were a horny sex slave…oh wait…she was…
Ten Ten talked with Neji’s family most of the evening. She enjoyed their company and she loved the fact that Neji was fortunate to have a ‘mother’ and a ‘father’. Even though they weren’t his biological parents, it was as if he were theirs. Ten Ten only had her mother and she loved the idea of having a complete family. Ten Ten left the Hyuuga residence by 9:30. She walked home…alone…in the dark. This is something Neji would have never let her done. She squeezed her shoulders because she was cold. She felt herself tear up the closer she got to her door. She fought back her tears and opened up her door. Her mother was waiting on her; at least Ten Ten had someone to come home to tonight.
