Sighing Lee leaned back againced a oak tree and closed his eyes. He had just eaten and barely escaped from Tenten's wrath....
~~~Flashback~~~~
After Lee and Gaara's talk he had headed back into Konoha to relax at the ramen restaurant only to be foiled by Tenten."YOU BASTARD YOU TRAINED WITH OUT ME!!!" Tenten had spotted Lee at the restaurant and had charged in on him. "YOU SAID YOU WOULD HELP ME WITH MY STAMINA TRAINING TODAY!!! I GOT UP EARLY WENT TO THE PLACE YOU SAID TO MEET YOU. AND WAITED FOR 2 FREAKIN HOURS FOR YOUR GREEN ASS TO SHOW UP!!" Tenten was leaning over poor Lee and letting him have it. 'Oops that’s right I forgot,,,im in deep...' "Don’t worry Tenten ill help you with your training no problem!!!" She said mimicking him "MY ASS!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW HOT IT WAS TODAY!!!!!??????!!"
"Im really sorry I forgo-" Lee said desperately. "NO EXCUSES YOUR DEAD LEE!!! SOO EXTREAMLY BONED!!" Tenten grabbed Lee by the shirt and threw him out the door. 'She dosn't need training!' Lee thought as he slammed in to the wooden fence opposite the restaurant’s door 'She's strong enough!!' "Tenten I really did forge-" Lee dodged a few of her weapons barley. He and only a few others were quick enough to do this do to her excellent aim. 'I cant reason with her she's to mad and I cant hit her back because she's my comrade!' Lee thought franticly 'I gotta run!!!!'
Picking himself up dodging a few more kuni he took off in the opposite direction. "THATS RIGHT YOU BETTER RUN!!!!!!!" Tenten screamed excitedly taking chase. 'Why me? Why me???' Lee was sprinting as fast as his leg weights would allow. Looking side to side he tried to find a safe place to hide until she calmed down a bit.
Glancing back he saw her hot on his trail. Not looking where he was going he crashed right into someone knocking both he and said person to the ground he on top the poor unexpecting civilian on bottom.
"Please excuse me but I really need to run or else im gonna die-" Lee was still looking over his shoulder at Tenten who had a crazed look on her face. The person stirred beneath him only then did Lee look down gasping as he did so.
"You like bumping into me don’t you?" Gaara said sarcastically. "You!?" Lee unfortunately had forgotten about Tenten only to be reminded shortly when he felt her roundhouse kick him in the head.” TAKE THAT PROMIS BREAKING BASTARD!!" Lee went flying off Gaara who was confused on what was happening but still highly amused all the same. Crashing in the wall Lee looked up in horror as Tenten closed in on the kill. "I’m sorry Tenten!!! Ill treat you to ramen please stop!!!!" Lee was desperate holding up his arms to show surrender. "Ramen?" Tenten asked looking down at him. "How maney survings can I have?" "As much as you like!!!!" Lee said in a prayer like position. "Hrmmm" She taped her finger to her chin thinking, meanwhile Gaara was finding this all quit funny he had never seen Lee look so clumsy and helpless. After they're fight he held Lee in high respect but right now.....
"Kay!" She said smiling as if she had forgotten the whole thing. Lee sighed in relief 'Thank the gods who ever invented ramen!!' Tenten loved ramen almost as much as Naruto. Grabbing the back of his shirt she started to drag him back toward the restaurant. Making eye contact with Gaara, Lee mouthed the words 'Help me!' Chuckling Gaara picked himself up and bushed off his clothes. Deciding to follow them to the restaurant he did have some free time he had already visited 3 families who he had heard had it the hardest due to the attack. They had all accepted his apology like Lee had, which offered closure. He still had quit a few more to go tho.
"Tenten that’s your 6th serving aren’t you full yet???" Lee said helplessly as she ordered another he could almost feel the pain in his wallet. "You said as much as I wanted!" Tenten said defensive. "That I did" Lee said slumping his shoulders. Gaara again chuckled. Taking notice of Gaara, Lee asked him "So how’s the confronting going so far?" Gaara smiled thoughtfully "Pretty well I didn’t expect them to accept so easily." Lee was happy that he was getting his closure and that the people of Konoha were being understanding.
"So how long to you think you'll be here for?" Lee asked. "I told my village three weeks not including the time taking to travel back." Gaara replied. "Do you have any where to stay at?" Looking at Lee he replied " I think im going to go to the INN not that its really necessary due to how I don’t sleep I’ll probably just wander around." Lee stood up "You cant wander around all night that’s dangerous!" "Umm I don’t really think a bandit is stupid enough to attack me..." That was true everyone knew Gaara of the sand and not many if any would even think of messing with him unless they had a death wish....."Still..... Why not stay with me? I have an extra room you can use!" Lee said cheerfully. He had saved up enough money from his teams missions to buy a small house on the outskirts of Konoha. It was a little small but it was homely.
"Its not really necessary im quit use to wandering at night..." Gaara said in a matter of factly way. "But at least you can rest there." Lee said stubbornly. He didn’t like the idea of Gaara wandering around all night for three weeks! Seeing how Lee wasn't about to give up and not really in the mood to banter with him about it for the next few hours Gaara gave in. "If your sure im not going to be troublesome to have around...." "No its fine!" Lee said smiling happy that he had won. "Meet back at the place where we met this morning at sunset I’ll take you to my house." Lee then turned back to Tenten who was finished with eating and had no interest in Gaara and his conversation. "Bill please!!" Lee said

The sky was beautiful colors of deep red, orange and purple painted the horizon as clouds added to the masterpiece. Hearing foot steps to the left of him Lee assumed it was Gaara but always cautious he tensed up.
Gaara had been watching him for a while now he was finding looking at Lee was getting to be his favorite thing to do come of late. Lee had changed out of his training uniform and was wearing a long sleeved green shirt, gray cloth pants with black sandals. Gaara didn’t know why but the way Lee looked appealed to him very much. Remembering when he had crashed into him earlier that day and that warm feeling he had went he felt with Lee on top of him.... Deciding he had stared enough Gaara stepped out of the shadows to greet Lee.
Smiling Lee stood up "Hey!" he greeted warmly Gaara only nodded. "Ok! Lets go! Follow me." As they made they're way to the house Gaara took notice of Lee's backside. 'I wonder if its at toned as the rest of him.' Shaking his head why would he think that about Lee? 'This just keeps getting weirder and weirder' So lost in thought he didn’t notice Lee had stopped causing him to bump into Lee. Looking back at Gaara Lee inquired "Are you ok? We're here..Gaara?" Gaara didn't step back from him, holding his body so that it was barley touching Lee's back.Gaara was taking in his sent which once again he felt the odd feelings stir.
"Gaara-kun? Are you alright?" Lee asked concern clearly in his voice wich wasn't helping Gaara's current situation. Lee was just about to turn around to see what was wrong when he felt Gaara's lips press to the back of his neck. "Gaara-kun?! What are you doing?"
